The property is in good shape. There are some places that needs improvement. The room I rented for the night, both chairs for the desk and the recliner had stains on them. The room was quiet, clean and had all the amenities that I needed to rest. The staff was nice and courteous, and was able to help with any request that I had. I would visit again if I pass through.

We didn’t stay. The owner/manager was very nice, but that was the only good part. Our room was at the end of the back row of rooms, which was also next to the building where there was a fire at some point, but nothing has been done to clean it up. To top it off, there was a man sitting in a lawn chair in front of the burnt building reading a book, who looked like a grown version of Huckleberry Finn, right off the river. The room had a moldy smell and was grimy, like they change the sheets and wipe a used towel over the surface, but that was it. I honestly didn’t feel safe. The owner refunded our money very apologetically.

Tony was absolutely outstanding. He was very attentive throughout the entire night while we were dealing with our truck alarm repeatedly going off. He kept a close eye on the vehicle, made sure no one was attempting to steal anything, and checked in on us regularly. His concern and willingness to help gave us peace of mind, especially since we were worried the battery would die from the alarm continuously sounding. Tony went above and beyond, and his professionalism and kindness did not go unnoticed. We truly appreciate all of his help and would highly recommend him.

Ended up I did not stay after walking in to my 2nd floor room and seeing a cockroach on the floor along with dirt. I asked for my money back and they gave it to me without hesitation (a positive). Sidewalks and stairways were dirty; definitely a property that is not kept after.

We had a moving truck & the guy told us we could park it around back of a building. HELL NO!! So we parked in the front lot next to the street. The room itself was just ok. The bed wasn't to bad & no signs of bugs. As far as breakfast, the only thing hot was make your own waffle. No butter, only margarine that looked old inside & ran out of syrup. There was a toaster but nothing to use it for. They had cold cereal but only 1 spoon to use for coffee & cereal. They did have hard boiled eggs but people that came in after didn't have that as an option. 1 Sunny D juice bottle (small individual). No one was in the office to get anything the whole time we were there! It took a half hour for the hot water to warm up that only slowly came out. I would not have expected this from a Wyndham property. If you only want to sleep then it's a maybe. It was a little loud but by 10:30 it was ok. I don't always expect a lot but this place, I won't be coming back too.

I dropped off my key in the morning but forgot to ask for deposit back. When I called from home I was told that they can't mail it or credit me, I literally have to drive back there to get it.

I was very disappointed with the condition of this hotel. My daughter was travelling alone and she checked in late at night. The first room that she was given, was unsafe. The sliding door to the common area did not lock and the safety bar was broken. She went back to the front desk and was given a new room. This room had a broken safety latch and the smoke alarm was offline and beeping all night. When she woke up in the morning, all she found for a 'full breakfast' was cheerios and milk in a dirty lobby area. I would ask for a refund if possible and I would not book at this location.

Floors were dirty, some kind of metal sheathing was around bed frame and it made loud noise everytime you bumped it. Couldn’t really sleep because when you would move on the bed the metal would make noise. Until around midnight you could hear the guys next door loudly partying….not a good hotel for families.

There was no breakfast available, the recreation area was straight out of a horror flick and one of the buildings had a room that was literally burned down to the ground. The in room coffee is two packets of instant coffee, no sugar no creamer, and only a filter coffee machine. Was clean, but this was far less than the bare minimum.

The entry door had a large gap at the floor allowing bugs to enter. The faucet wouldn't completely shut off. The shower would grow cold in the middle of using it. Only 2 sets of towels in the room. The TV was unusable unless you registered it on your smartphone. The \"hot breakfast\" was very limited in selection. No protein items offered. The only bread offered was white, straight out of the wrapper. No butter for the waffles. No sugar free syrup. The waffle batter ran out. No orange juice. Milk ran out. Coffee was lukewarm.

Positives: Quiet and a new floor. Motel 6 in the 1960s and 1970s was better. If you have heard of a business operating on the cheap, well that Baymont could be the model for being the cheapest around. I suppose every chain has to have a motel at the bottom of the list but that Baymont is an embarrassment to the chain.

Parking was horible. We could hear everything in our room. We saw 2 roachs as soon as we walked the room coming from the TV. Clearly a TV in our room had went out so rather then take the old out they sat a new one infront of it. The pool was green and reaked of to much chlorine. None of the arcade games worked and their was no balls or clubs at the putting green. I purposely got this hotel to give the kids somthing to do well i was at my class reunion but they really couldn't do anything. We ended up heading home early because it was so bad.

Had stayed in a Confort Inn in Conroe Tx for 3 nights prior to the stay in El Dorado and chose this motel since wed stayed in one prior. NO COMPARISON. The best was comfortable for reason for stay, but will jot be staying there again. Place was run down and dilapidated, parking lot full of sand and stuff that we tracked into the room and our vehicle. It's a shane for Comfort Inn to have a sign above this place. Yes, my opinion only.

Locks on doors the screws were coming out of feames. Manager came down and screwed them back in. They did not reinforce the holes so I didn't sleep very well. The refrigerator is making thumping sounds and they brought in another one and just left it in the middle of the floor said he'd have maintenance come and get it the next day it was I had a Jacuzzi tub but it was a 1970s Las Vegas style red heart tub which was filthy. There was pee on the floor and stuff in the toilet it hadn't been cleaned and I had the I saw a lady and she came over at the maid and she said they didn't even mop the floor or clean the toilet and I said no they didn't so she took the time and came over and cleaned the room I asked for a different room for the manager and they said no I booked this through Expedia and that's the room since it had the Jacuzzi tub I will not stay there again if I ever go back through that town.

Adequate stay. Slept well. Clean fresh smelling room but esthetics lacking. Needs fresh coat of paint. Sink faucet handle new but the style made it hard to turn on and off. Of greater concern was the puddle of milk that was not cleaned up immediately at the front of the office door. It was a safety concern. It lay there from before we entered for breakfast until after we checked out. The gentleman at the desk said he was waiting for housekeeping.

Several things were a turn off. The property is outdated and the lobby rugs, furnishings not clean. The internet is shotty couldn't connect son's device or laptop. The housekeeper tried to help, the staff on duty just flaked us off several times. He didn't want to be bothered and stated internet was for cable only, no devices. Our neighbor had her tablet connected so we know that was just a way to get out if helping. I needed to stay an additional night was charged 2x what the price was online plus another $25 for our dog. After all this, we onky received $32.90 of the $50 deposit with no explanation from staff. He said ge couldn't see it in the system. We got screwed. It was the most boring 3 days with no internet ever. Not happy

One of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced. The lobby pictured in the listing is nowhere to be found -don’t be fooled. I’m not picky & expected a budget motel, but the 1st room had only dangerously hot water at both the sink and shower, so we requested to be moved. There was shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower and 2 tiny bars of soap. As we are a family of 4, I grabbed 1 extra towel from that room. got to the 2nd room and it only had 2 towels, no soap, only 4 tiny bottles of shampoo on the counter, plus shampoo/conditioner and lotion (why?) in the shower. Neither room has hand towels and the TV did not work because of a cable outage. Both rooms had the latch area of the bathroom door carved out so the door barely caught, let alone locked. The chair upholstery was dirty, the bed spread on one bed was stained and the floor and baseboards were dirty. The person at reception was nice and tried their best, but I also had long delays with check in, despite having completed pre check-in on my phone- including uploading my driver’s license and credit card because they were on hold with the cable company. Definitely do not recommend.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about this place. From the moment we checked in, it was clear this hotel does not match the pictures online. The property is run-down, outdated, and in serious need of maintenance.

Our room was dirty—floors and counters had visible grime, the bathroom hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned, and there was a lingering musty odor. It felt like it hadn’t been properly sanitized in quite some time.

Our room was booked as double queen, it was a double full. When asked they offered an upgrade to a single king and $40 night. We had three in our group so obviously that wouldn’t work. The. They just stopped helping.

The pool was filthy and freezing cold. The water was murky, and there was debris floating in it. Definitely not something you’d want yourself or your kids swimming in.

Breakfast was a joke. If you’re hoping for a decent morning meal even a continental breakfast, plan to go elsewhere.

What’s most frustrating is that the photos online are completely misleading. Nothing about this hotel matches what’s advertised. It looks like those pictures were taken years ago or at a completely different location.

I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made. Spend a little more and stay somewhere that delivers on its promises.

Overall, facilities were below average.

\"Hot breakfast\" was make your own waffles/toast/cereal with water or coffee. Very meager. Below expectations, even for this category of motel.

After one night of our 2-night stay, housekeeping apparently thought we had checked out. Our suitcase was found in the room, some of our belongings were turned in to the front desk, the rest was just taken and I don't expect to ever see them again. Hotel management apologized, but has not offered and recompense or compensation.

The hotel could use a deep clean. The baseboards were filthy from years of not being cleaned. The towels were thread-bare, you could actually see thru them. We stayed 3 nights and our room was not straightened up once.
The complimentary breakfast was just coffee, waffles and sometimes boiled eggs. No muffins or oatmeal or juice.

The room was adequate for the price. It was older but was clean. The hotel information advertises breakfast included. It was very minimal. There was 3 types of cereal and whole milk. The juice machine was out of order. They had a loaf of bread and a toaster and some jelly, a waffle maker and some hard boiled eggs. It was sufficient for my wife and I and for what we paid we have no complaints. Though I am used to having some fruit, oatmeal, danishes, yogurts, and sometimes microwavable breakfast biscuits at most hotels. This was not enough to turn us away if we return to town though

I stayed at this property for a week. As soon as we walked into the room we noticed the floors were dirty and hadn’t been swept. The next day we waited for room service to come by and never showed. The following day the same so my husband had to go get towels. The following day I called and asked why our room wasn’t being serviced the man assured me she would be down there. She came and asked what all I needed and I told her and she acted as if it was a big deal that we wanted clean towels bedding etc. Also I then told her about the water being too hot like boiling they got someone to “fix it”. The next morning the same thing water boiling hot! The tv and WiFi didn’t work half the time we was there either!

Bottom line if u want a dirty room, a cleaning lady that acts like she’s not there to help provide what you need, boiling water to where you can’t shower, and no tv or wifi this would be the place for you to go!!

Large room, very clean and super affordable. Room has closet space, iron, ironing board, mini fridge and microwave. They even have a little binder full of all sorts of info like local churches, nearby restaurants, amd what to do in case of tornado or some other emergency. Lau dry facility amd gym on sute as well.
