This hotel is OK if you are staying for 1 or 2 nights and are happy to live out of your suitcase. However there are a number of issues if you are staying for a longer period.
1. Storage space - There are no drawers in the rooms, to put things like underwear or small clothing items. In the double room there was only one bedside cabinet which meant all my bedside items (book, phone etc) had to go on the floor
2. Bathroom - There wasn't one. The handbasin was in the passage between the door of the room and the bedroom section. There was a shower compartment which opened onto the bedroom with a curtain to hide you when you were showering. My wife loves me very much but did not particularly want to see me washing my "bits".
3. If you are female there is nowhere to put make up or any other things that a lady needs to make herself presentable on leaving the room.
4. Breakfast was nice but because the hotel appears to cater especially for tour groups it is difficult to get a table at times.
5. Hotel bar - There is no bar service,you have to wait for a waiter to take your order and bring it. On one occasion this resulted in a 15 minute wait before ordering and then a 30 minute wait for the drinks to arrive.
6. Room cleaning - They have an unnecessary technological system where you press a button the wall to request room cleaning the next day. We did this - the room was not cleaned. I am not sure how this is more efficient than hanging a note on your door requesting the room be cleaned

The room was nice and clean for what it was. The gym was decent but the smith machine rack needs a lot of lubricant love. It’s also too small for the size of this hotel. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of options. Overall not bad. Clean, safe, and fairly comfortable temperature for late May.

I would be careful booking this hotel as a new couple or just friends as the bathrooms leave very little to the imagination.
The bathroom is not a separate room to the bedroom. Only a curtain to pull across with glass from the sink to the shower and only a frosted glass door to the toilet. Not private at all.

Great location. As many other stated, doesn't feel like a true 4 star hotel. Room is ok for one, bathroom concept lacks privacy. It's an older building so you do hear your neighbors from time to time. Staff is helpful. Having your luggage stored costs 2 euro per piece.

Terrible service and terrible stay. Checked in on a Friday and my A/C didn’t work. Room felt like 80 degrees all night. Called the desk and they told me they couldn’t get another for another day and they don’t have fans. Saturday I’m begging for someone to look at the A/C. After the 10th attempt of me calling and go downstairs I’m told it’s broken and I can get a fan from the cleaners. Which they don’t clean your room or replace towels everyday even if you hit the button for service. Terrible communication!

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Wonderful food. Ideal central location with Alexanderplatz station only minutes away, but the hotel is very dated, thin walls meant I could hear everything being said in the next room which didn’t help when they had a screaming child.

The hotel also has a room cleaning request button (in the bathroom) that you must press before 11am to get the room serviced for the next day. I pressed the button twice during my stay and my room wasn’t serviced.

The best part about the hotel is the convenience of the location (and the great view). As a solo traveler, the size of the room was fine, and I didn’t mind that only a curtain separated the shower from the rest of the room.

However, what I did mind was the size of the pillows - half the width of a regular pillow and so soft they essentially collapsed as soon as your head touched hit them. The water pressure is also awful - the tap in my bathroom produced only boiling water and the temperature for the shower was either scalding or freezing.

The worst part about the hotel is the fact that guests can do seemingly whatever they like, with no repercussions. I stayed here for 3 nights and every night was kept awake for hours on end by doors slamming, people shouting in the corridors, and rave-like music being blasted from my neighbours above. I don’t think I slept more than 4 hours. Only on one occasion did security come to tell people to be quiet (and that was at 6am - far too late to make a difference).

I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning. This hotel looks good, but unfortunately looks can be very deceiving.

We stayed for 3 nights as a long weekend to visit Berlin. The location in Alexanderplatz was idéal for getting around by public transport and was on the same line (S9) as the airport.
This was a busy city hotel, we had rooms on the 34th floor with great views to the east.
Room was tiny but very clean and functional with pod machine, we asked for a kettle and one was delivered. Bed was very hard and not a true double.
Shower was good and easy to use.
Breakfast was very good, busy but you never felt it and hardly waited for anything - good selection and very fresh. Staff very helpful (all except reception on arrival).
We found the food court in the nearby Alexa mall ideal for eating in the evening.
More functional than comfort, but very convenient.

However, the restaurant deserves a negative star if that were possible. The breakfast was extremely limited (mostly just different types of ham), and the service was very unfriendly. Some of the servers were rude, which completely ruined the dining experience.

This hotel was amazing and extremely convenient, as it’s located in the heart of everything. There are many shops nearby, including department stores and shopping centres, as well as plenty of restaurants and fast-food options. If you visit during Christmas time, there are two Christmas markets—one directly outside the hotel and another just a five-minute walk away.

The hotel also offers many amenities and activities, including a rooftop high swing, which I tried and absolutely loved. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berlin.

We love Park Inn because this hotel situated very convenient place, just 1-2mins from Alexanderplatz Station which if you catch faster train such as RB8, only within 30 mins to the airport to the hotel. U2 train entrance is just next to it. This occasion we chose Standard City View room which has great view from our room toward the tower and Christmas Market under the hotel and opposite side of the station. Coffee pod machine in the room but you could request a kettle and teabags at the reception. The reception staffs were very friendly and very efficient. After checked out, the hotel offered us suitcase storage for €2 per luggage (stayed guest only). This is quite reasonable price than other luggage storage facilities near the station. Strongly recommended. We are very sure we’ll be back next time visiting Berlin for sure.

We paid for a superior room with a corner view and were very glad we did. The view of the TV tower and a large part of the city was very good but mared by the close proximity of a new tower block above the Kaufhof department store.

The room was very clean and well laid out. With sufficient storage for our clothing. However the single beds with single quilts were a significant irritation! Particularly as the beds moved apart very easily! As for the items referred to as ‘pillows’ I can say that this is not the first time in Europe I have come across what I would describe as nothing more than a ‘ghost of a pillow!!’Fortunately, when asked, the Housekeeping team agreed to send 4 large pillows to the room.
As for amenities, maybe being old and British colours my opinion but the Nespresso machine was a poor replacement from a simple kettle. The 2 pods of unknown contents and cups too big to fit under machine nozzle indicated the completed failure of the management to provide genuinely useable facilities.
Outside of these issues and apart from the excessive wait for one of the 4 lifts to stop on your floor, the overall amenities operated very well for such a high volume of guests.

The best part of this hotel is its proximity to the centre of Berlin and particularly at this time of year, multiple Christmas markets and shopping centres.

Overall our stay was very good. The hotel was busy, & had a lovely atmosphere. It was clean and the staff were friendly & attentive.
The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom facilities in the rooms. Individual cubicles for toilet & shower in the bedroom, with only a frosted glass door for privacy ..... not much privacy !!

Stayed a week. Definitely mixed experience. Positives: very good location; pretty quiet in room; comfy bed. Negatives: the shower has ever-changing water temp, impossible to regulate. Every time, regardless of time of day; maid service left a bit to be desired. I only requested it twice and they didnt change the sheets, vacuum or restock paper products, etc.; the revolving door out to the plaza was broken for 3 days, meaning you could go through the connect Burger King if they were open or go out the doors on the other side which is a significant pain with luggage and/or in the rain.

The shower and toilet both had ~1 to 1/2" gaps in the doors, leading to water leaking out into the room if you're not careful while showering.But the room was clean and quiet (with the window closed), the beds comfortable and the staff pleasant.

Not pleased at all. Got there and had a room with a view with a queen or king size bed. Then they decided to put 2 single beds together in the room.
I complained and then they put a topper on it still with 2 single duvets on it.
Afyer the first night I came back at roughly 3am to find dog poop in the lift.

I’ve always wanted to stay at this hotel because of its location to my family, but never have. This particular trip I absolutely needed to be next to Alexander plots for the convenience of my airplane departure, so I booked it here for three nights and it was absolutely perfect. I only needed a small room so the price was right. Staff was amazing with daily room cleaning to boot. Thank you so much for the great day. Would gladly recommend and do it again. Another one of the big draws, is that because you’re so close to the train station it makes it easy to get in and out, but the biggest plus was that you can get a Döner almost any time of the day. Perfect! A+.
