It was only a one night stopover. The free WiFi was limited to emails and not so internet browsing. It may have been better at reception but, I did not try it.
I had a room overlooking the main street with French doors opening to a small balcony.

The double room was fairly basic but finished to a very high standard and included a lovely shower. The hotel is located on beautiful grounds in front of the casino and cinema and conveniently located in the centre of town. There is no dining in the evening but there are a few nice restaurants nearby. The breakfast in the morning was good and reasonably priced. This is a recommended stay.

A decent enough place to break our long journey for the night. The room was a good size and the bathroom was excellent with a powerful shower and modern fittings. The not good things included it being very hot in the room (with no air-con to cool it down)and a pesky mosquito which must have entered when we opened the window for a few minutes.
The town itself has nowhere to eat so it was as well that we had stopped for lunch. We would have been hungry otherwise.

Camino rest day

I stayed two nights as a Camino rest day. Other than the walls being a little thin, the room and hotel were outstanding. It's well placed to have access to many restaurants and grocery stores

Hotel in good position to walk into very pleasant town. Plenty of bars and restaurants.
Reception staff had little English and were not very helpful.
Made the mistake of openning a window in the room and let in a mozzie which bit us in the night!

Well located

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a road trip round northern Spain. Slightly odd arrangement to get to our apartment, but this is because it seems like the hotel is several buildings loosely connected. The room itself wasn’t really an apartment but had a small separate sitting area with an extra bed and a fridge, hot plate and microwave.
The bed was small and quite hard but was actually quite comfortable. The whole rooms was really clean and basic toiletries were supplied. All in all, whilst basic I felt it was good value for the price and was a very good location just on the edge of town. My only quibbles were that the room overlooked the main road into town so there was some road noise, it was near to the lift so you heard people in the morning and evening and there was no AC or kettle. There is a supermarket directly over the road from the hotel, which was incredibly handy, and many restaurants are only a few minutes walk away.

Comfortable central hotel

Jose at reception was friendly and welcoming.We had just finished a few days of walking the camino Norte and were pretty tired. Our room was comfortable and warm and we had easy walking acces to bars and restaurants in the town.

Pleasant hotel, clean & adequatei n small town

Hotel was a convenient stop for us on a drive across the top of Spain - we had struggled for affordable accommodation. This hotel fitted our needs well, although the town itself was small and did not appear to offer much for visitors. Room was clean, wifi was free as was on-site parking. Hotel restaurant was closed (Friday) - not quite sure why, reception recommended a local restaurant which was good. Night was warm and we did find it a little difficult to sleep as we needed to have the window open as there was no air-conditioning or fan - really a must in Spain in September! Hotel was quiet, clean and met our needs.

A Place Lost in Time

Getting there was an experience, all to really blame on the GPS that took us into the mountains instead of the hotel, but that is another story. When we finally arrived our room was on the 2nd floor facing the street. That would not have been a big deal, until we did not see any air-conditioning controls. We called the main desk and the response was that it gets cool at night and therefore no need for one. Well the street noise travels at night and echoed into the room, no overhead fan to move the outside cool air into the stuffy room.
We checked out the following morning.

Lovely surprise off the beaten path

Was expecting only to spend a night in the small town of Navia on the Bay of Biscayne in Asturia. What a pleasant surprise to find a spacious room with a lovely view, hardwood floors, for a great low price! The staff could not have been more helpful -- when I left behind something in the room, I called from the highway and with my broken Spanish was able to determine that they had found what I had lost and stored in their hotel safe. The location is the Palacio Arias is right in the center of town, a lovely walk through a river front park and forest to the beach. Would strongly recommend it to travellers visiting the northwest coast of Spain. PS There was free wifi in the room as well!

Cuando llegamos el apartamento estaba listo asi que subimos y dejamos las maletas, si que nos dimos cuenta que habia pocas toallas pero no le dimos importancias. Al bajar por el ascensor nos cruzamos con personal de limpieza no.nos dió ni los buenos días. Al llegar por la.noche al apartamento nos dimoa cuenta que habia muchas toallas y que habian entrado eso si se habian dejado un palillo de dientess en el cabecero de la cama. El apartamento era grande las instalaciones muy buenas y el personal de recepción es muy amable. Pero si estaba listo cuando llegamos por que entran despues de nuestra llegada. No es la primera vez que nos alojamos y la verdad que nos gusta pero el detalle del palillo de dientes....y el.polvo de las lamparas....

Aparcamiento gratis. Las habitaciones en el edificio anexo tienen paredes de papel, y al estar junto a los apartamentos el ruido es horrible, huele a comida, a las 8 de la mañana ya están limpiando y con ruidos. Estamos de vacaciones, ya madrugamos el resto del año. Horrible

Muy buena ubicación, buen entorno y hay que destacar lo precioso que es el palacio, una buena experiencia.
En la parte menos positiva decir que le falta \"un pelin\" de mantenimiento, y respecto al personal de recepción decir que debieran tener un poco mas de empatia, conmigo fueron correctos pero presencie dos episodios que falto algo de tacto.
Resumiendo, yo he estado bien y si volviera a Navia seguramente repetiría.

Nunca volveremos a este hotel en la vida. Navia es muy bonita y como sede para hacer excursiones perfecta.,pero falló este hotel.
En primer lugar,contratamos una habitación con unas fotos del parking y el palacete...al llegar nos mandan a un bloque de pisos, sin ningún servicio que le llaman Hotel Arias de tres estrellas,una habitación con vistas a un descampado propia de un hostal de poca monta y 91 euros... Qué vergüenza, deplorable...
Lo comunicamos a recepción y, una señora seca, nos contesta que de ella no dependía... Estaba acorde a la habitación la señora.
Nos dice que no hay habitaciones en el palacio, por lo que nos vamos a la habitación maravillosa 223.
Al tercer día, pudimos hablar con la gerente. Fue amable y nos dió la opción para ir al palacete. Habitación mucho mejor, pero con ruidos de la calle sin parar y sin poder abrir ventanas del todo ya que estaban a la cabeza de una persona. Podías abrirlas sino te importaba que te vieran, aunque lo peor era el ruido.
Decepcionante por donde lo mires. No se corresponde el precio con el servicio ni de lejos.
Triste,lamentable y muy engañoso con las fotografías. Crees que contratas un sitio y te mandan a otro.
Viajamos mucho y jamás nos ha pasado una cosa igual.
