When I stayed at the property last time, I was unable to enjoy breakfast comfortably because one of the staff members gave me the wrong breakfast time. I mentioned this to the property manager, and the manager promised me a free breakfast for my next stay. When I checked in this time, she remembered me and provided free breakfast not only for my wife and me but also for my four friends who checked in with us. I highly recommend this property because they are very serious about customer satisfaction. Most importantly, they keep their word.

The room is really big and comfortable. A little bit of walking from the train or the subway station but overall the location is good enough as it is still easy to find something to each at low price. The staff were really friendly and helpful, more than I expected... a big credit to it! Highly recommend to other to stay when visiting Shenyang!

Located in a fairly quiet area of Shenyang, it is near a bunch of underground tunnels that connect to the subway / shopping areas so that even in the horrible cold winter you can move around the city. The hotel itself is very quiet and comfortable, great for extended stays with lots of room even in the standard apartment. My personal contribution to your day? The gym is surprisingly well adorned, with treadmills and ellipticals, as well as a set of weight machines including bench/incline, lats and rows, and a few leg extensions variants. Lots of dumbbells all the way up to 50lbs, and even plates for their ez bar and a short Olympic bar. There's no squat rack or spotters, so solo benching was out of the question, but it was a surprise to get some deadlifts in on this trip. In short, a great substitute for those who are in Shenyang for a while and want a place that feels like home. No pompous luxury, just a place to relax, sleep, and get some exercise in.

the room condition needs to be improved

I stay in this hotel last May with my parents and we really enjoyed our stay. This is the reason why I decided to stay here this year. However the experience for this time wasn't very good. The facilities were still ok, but there was a very bad smell coming out for the drainage in my bathroom. I smelled it straight away since I went to the bathroom on my first day. I thought it might be just once-off problem and didn't ask the staff to chance to another room. But the smell was getting worse on the 2nd day and 3rd day. I had to close the bathroom door all the time and I felt like to use a dirty public toilet every time when I went to bathroom. On the 3rd day, I reported this issue to the reception. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and found someone (looks like a plumber) to check it. I was told by the plumber that the drainage is ok but he also felt the bad smell. The front desk staff offered to change to another room but I thought it could have been fixed. On the 4th day, the same or even worse smell in the bathroom. I asked them to change a room for me and it was done immediately. The staff members were polite and very helpful. However I believe someone should report this problem before they assigned the room with this condition to the customer.

Very near to the train station. In fact you can use rhe underground shoping street to get to the hotel. Underground shops were fantastic.

Airline lost our luggage, hotel was great in responding to my emails.

Room was very warm ahile oitside was freezing cold.

The hot water in the shower was inconsistent though.

All in all, a great experience.

Mr Jacky Xu saved our day!

Poor service received at check in by the check in staff. No infor was offered on where to park, where to take breakfast, no smile etc etc. Fortunately the front door staff Mr jacky xu saved the day. He accompanied us to find a parking lot, Helped to bring luggages to the room, Checked that our aircon in yhe apartment were working, and suggested places to visit. Mr Xu is a all rounded staff who has excellent attitude and resouceful in providing solutions to problem solving.

Poor service, poor staff

The service was extremely poor. Rude as well, when i checked in, after waited do a long time, was questioned about my name, very rude. Then gave me a smoking room(I booked a nonsmoking room). I went back to the reception, the staff wasn’t happy that I nes to swap, said ‘it is just a bit smell, it is a nonsmoking room. ‘ I told her there is even ashtray on the coffee table and you can go to smell it yourself.
The staff there even don’t have some basic manners.

This is so far the best hotel i've ever stayed! Bar none! (Other than Disney resort of course lol). They have nice breakfast! Safety is pretty good, because you can't control the elevator without plugging in your room card. Overall room is pretty nice, i've stayed here twice and I enjoyed each time I stayed there. Front desk speaks english, and they are very friendly as well. Housekeeping is only ok..... Not 24/7, I had to wait overnight to get my towel. Internet is awesome, You can access facebook, twitter, youtube, etc any websites that are not accessible by regular Chinese hotels and regular Chinese citizens. Wifi is pretty fast and strong as well. Washer+ dryer all in one is good too but not great, not like the dryer in the U.S that drys fast and super dry, it's more like slightly damp. Anyway, I will stay here again next time I get a chance.

The place is centrally located 2,3blocks from Shenyang railroad station, subway station, department stores, supermarkets and restaurants all within 5-10mins walking distance. The unit is comfortable. Nice size kitchen if you like to make homemade meals, plus there a washer to do own laundry. Breakfast has variety of Chinese and Western style of food to chose from.

All the first world amenities for a very reasonable price. This hotel is fantastic even for first world standards. The room was exactly as advertised heck they gave us the exact room as the promo picture. Full kitchen facilities. Bathtub. Wifi with a built in VPN. Awesome location. You’ll find most hotels in shengyang will charge more for less than what Somerset offers. Do yourself a favour and book this hotel. You won’t regrret it.

Great hotel for what you paid for. Loved the location, close to metro station, shopping center and train station. Offers good coffee, and pretty nice amenities. Also the Wi-Fi here is vpn enabled, so you could get on Facebook, Instagram and snapchat without any lag. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I could ask is if they could clean the rooms a bit better, and get some fresh air into the room because when I walked into the room it smelled a little muggie

Great Stay with Somerset Heping Shenyang

Had a upgrade of room complimentary from the guest manager. My stay in a bigger room (2bedrooms) was another experience with good guest reception service and clean housekeeping. Below the hotel is a nine storeys XingLong100 shopping mall with shenyang shopping alley just around the hotel. MTR train is just less than 10mins walking distance. Thinking of eating is no issue there.. Good Location and Clean Hotel.. Will Stay with Somerset Heping Shenyang again!!!

All staff very professional, apartment fully furnished with all amenities one would desire including all cooking utensils, in apartment laundry facilities, and all staff speaks very good English-German and very courteous and helpful. Shopping centers close by and fabulous International grocery store next door. A most pleasant stay. Would most highly recommend to anyone having an extended stay in Shenyang. Disappointed - Compliementary breakfast

The hotel booking came with free breakfast. However, during my second stay with Somerset Heping Shenyang (first stay was a few days earlier), I only got one free complimentary breakfast when there are two occupants. During my first stay, I was provided with two breakfast per day. So I am not sure why is this so and when I asked the staff at the breakfast lounge. They could not provide a reason. In order not to create a scene, I paid for the breakfast taken by my companion. I hope hotel.com or the hotel could provide what free breakfast we are entitled when we make a booking for two as I usually got two free breakfast when I make my booking and indicating there will be two occupants.

This is not a hotel room. It is a very comfortable one bedroom apartment with all the comforts of being at home. Fully furnished including kitchen, living room, and bedroom. A huge LED TV in every room. You have your own WIFI router, so you have both cable and WIFI Internet. All this in a Hotel like environment. For Shenyang it is extremely clean (Building and Room). Very comfortable. Location is in the center of the city, just beside the pedestrian street where all the Shopping Centers are. Service was excellent, and staff very kind.

Good experience, hotel was clean and easy to manage. Staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful at all times. Hotel is near main train station and only about 4-5 blocks from very active shopping/restaurant area.

Hotel is about 40 minutes from airport in good traffic, I expect over an hour in bad to normal traffic.

Negative points, staff speaks little to no English besides the front desk help and they can be a challenge at times, depending on who is working.

They do not exchange funds in the hotel, but there is a Chinese post office across the street that does, but if you need RMB quickly at night or on weekend, can not not exchange at hotel.

No food service in the hotel besides breakfast, no lunch or dinner options without going outside.

Hidden Gem, Fabulous Hotel/Apartment

This place is a secret! Absolutly a wonderful Hotel/Apartment. Service of staff is great. Second best shopping in Shenyang is just out the door. Only two complaints: 1. It is very hard to find as the signage is poor. Very few taxis know where it is. The contact number listed here is incorrect, that is a fax line. 2. Pillows, very thin and you only get two. The room was fantastic and the kitchen was complete. I highly recommend this place. No smell of smoke like in other hotels even though they claim they are non smoking. No bellboy to take your luggage, but no big deal. I'd rather stay with my luggage. I left 1100 Chinese RMB in my pocket of pants to be cleaned. They found it and returned it. I forgot about it until they returned my clothing. Also, free wireless internet in the room. Excellent value, the best hotel experience I have had in China!

Hotel is very close to major shopping center. There are good restaurants nearby and western fast food places-satisfy a variety of wants. Subway/metro and train station are in walking distance, 10-15 min. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful with directions. Hotel is clean. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Sometimes, it is difficult to get good bread - western style bread - but the hotel uses a very good bakery and we thoroughly enjoyed the varieties of bread at breakfast. The Mukden Palace is easily accessible by metro as is Zhaoling Tombs. Taxis are easy to hail. Korea town is 5 min away by taxi.

This is an excellent apartment style hotel. Very clean, modern and well appointed. This was my third visit to Shenyang and I wish I had stayed here on my previous visits. If you want practical, spacious and very clean accommodation, without the unnecessary frills and expenses of 5 star hotel chains, then this is it. The breakfast is good value too with plenty of choice. My stay was for five nights, but my apartment would have suited a much longer long term stay. Friendly, efficient and helpful staff.

My taxi driver had a tough time finding it. Thus it's helpful to know that it's at the intersection where Taiyuan Lu meets Bei'er Malu and Zhongshan Lu. In addition, as a serviced residence with a high number of employees from BMW present, it can be difficult to book a meeting room here at peak times when BMW may have all rooms booked for a solid week. Staff were helpful in pointing out two nearby hotels offering meeting rooms, but could've been more helpful in assisting the booking process at these alternate locations. Breakfast buffet is excellent, lots of choices and good coffee.

洗面所のコンセントの接触が悪く、ドライヤーが使えず、ベッドの横のコンセントでやりました。他は満足行くものでした。
食事の味噌汁はワカメで無く昆布が入っていて、味も含めてもう少し美味しくなると、更に良いと思います。

진짜 깨끗해요! 데스크도 엄청 친절해서 체크인/체크아웃 금방 끝냈어요. 태원가에 위치해 있어서 호텔 나오자마자 택시도 바로 잡을 수 있고, 심양역도 걸어서 10분 내로 갈 수 있어요. 무엇보다 방이 진짜 깨끗하고 넓어요! 저는 침실2개 했는데 3박4일동안 정말 편안하고 행복하게 사용했습니다. 세탁기 있어서 편리했구요. 완전 강추 별 다섯개!!!! 아 근데 샤워기 수압이 쫌 세요

住宿價格不高, 離車站近, 房間大, 不錯.

我們住的是行政四人房, 房間超級大, 還有廚房跟洗衣間, (可以跟櫃台索取免費的洗衣粉).
離瀋陽火車站也很近, 拉行李走過去大約不需要十分鐘.
