Great value for money. The view from our room was amazing. It is a bit of a walk up to it but there is a shuttle available. If you’re a walker it’s not a problem.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, within a 5 minute walk of the beach with amazing sea views from the balcony. All the hotel employees are incredibly welcoming, attentive and friendly. Special mentions go to Manos and Anastasia from the pool bar and Alice in the restaurant.

Hotels.com pictures are not accurate

The restaurant and bar staff are lovely but that still does not make up for the state of the room.
The pictures of the Superior Room on the hotel website are misleading.
The pictures attached show the grim reality of their Superior Rooms.
I spoke to the front desk who told me that
\"yes, your room is superior but all rooms are different\"
Luckily we were just staying for 2 nights.

Add to this:
• no hot water on both days (front desk said the water situation impacted everyone as if she thought that made us feel better
• tiny bathroom
• no sound proofing in the room. It's possible to hear everything in the adjoining room
• clothes storage that was just an open shelf unit
• no extra bed (we didn't need one but the website said it had one\"
• standard domestic fridge in the room that made a racket
• no tea / coffee making facilities (well, unless you consider three packets of Green Tea (nothing else) to nail that feature) The room was tired. The one piece of furniture was cracked and splitting where the cheap MDF material had got damp.

We strongly believe it is the worst hotel bedroom we have ever experienced.

But as I said at the start. The restaurant team and bar team were delightful.

Highly recommended

Great view, comfortable room, great breakfast, close to the beach and all amenities (bus stop, car hire, restaurants and shops). Gym was nice and fully equipped (not shown in pictures). Didn't mind climbing the stairs to get to room.

I booked a standard Seaview room on front with Expedia. On checkin receptionist told me we had an upgrade to 607. This was the furthest back, impossible to walk to pool, restaurant etc. Upgrade was a lie as room was basic, plastic shower curtain etc. I do not appreciate being lied to. I asked for a change nearer to pool, was told hotel fully booked (what happened to my room then??). We were told 1 room left 215 near to facilities. We took this, but it was a mistake, no privacy at all, ground floor corner balcony overlooking kitchens, noisy chimney all day/night. It was like Piccadilly Circus with constant traffic of people past balcony at front and at the back of room was the cleaners storage where staff congregated at times, sitting on steps outside room.
This was third time I stayed at this hotel and expected better service and at least some loyalty, but it was not to be.

The breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent as were restaurant staff.

Pool was large and clean, no wasps!!

Friendly and attentive staff in a hotel with pleasant views. I would strongly recommend adding dinner to your booking as the amazing food in the hotel is so much better than what is on offer on the main street close by.
The hotel has thought about everything to ensure their guests are looked after - from the driver who is always on hand to bring you to your room or down to the Main Street (the hotel is located on a steep hill, so depending on where your room is located the walk can often be a lot in the strong heat of the day) to having showering facilities available to guests who have checked out of their rooms at 11am but who are still using the pool etc before their departure.
Only downside was the amount of wasps and hornets around the pool. They would gather on the vents around the pool making it difficult to get in and out, and also making it hard to relax if you’re nervous of them.

Lovely and affordable stay

We enjoyed our stay at Pantokrator. We especially liked the friendly staff, spacious room (superior double room), the facilities including the pool and breakfast area overlooking the beautiful scenery.
Some things we think could be improved are the pillows, cleanliness of the floor, the water pressure on the shower head, and the supply of hot water in the shower. At times there was not enough hot water especially late at night.

The property itself is beautiful. Breakfast was a winning point. Wifi didn't work, and I was unable to work as I had planned in the evenings. Staff was dismissive about this, despite the money it cost me, and just said they didn't know why it didn't work. Also, the room doesn't have a bathtub, and when I asked about it, I was told that I didn't ask for it. Mattress needs to be replaced. Overall, a safe place, and great view... air conditioning in the general area, which, when it worked, was the only place wifi was available, but I was literally dripping with the heat. Staff was nice besides this, but when a person books a hotel so they have wifi, it should have wifi, and mattress shouldn't be cot-style. I spent too much.

I wanted to stay on the west side of the island but because of the photos on the internet I chose this side/hotel. They are not like the photos. Very outdated, bugs everywhere, there were ants all over balcony, bugs in the room. The TV did not work, the WiFi did not work in the room. The whole place is on a hill, so you snake your way up a bunch of stairs and hills. There was limited parking throughout the place. Placement of AC blows on the bed and it didn’t keep temperature

What was not

A holiday spoilt. The hotel took an appropriate step to address the issue on the final day, however it was avoidable and must be avoided in the future for other guests. Aside to our specific issue, the hotel must adapt processes to manage site supervision and formal methods of address to issues for swift resolve.

Location - connected by a comfortable bus that will cost adults and Children over 6 - 2 euro 20 cents to go from Corfu old town bus station to the bottom of the hill in Barabati.

Taxi from airport will cost 40 euro's. Make sure you tell the driver what you will pay or be prepared to pay 50 euro's or more.

You can book a hire car from Barabati for about 30 euro's per day and they will deliver it to the airport, its cheaper than a taxi and you get the chance to explore for a day to decide what will be your go to destination.

Pebble beach x 2 access routes. Don't bother with the first and closest, walk additional 5 minutes and you will have all you need for a full day and evening of sea, sun and fun (food and drink) reasonable prices and great service, great beach and atmosphere & a view that calms the senses.

2 x loungers will cost you approx 8 euro for a full day.

Hotel
Should try to offer transfers.

Must be mindful that when something is not working, to ask for help is a fair request.

Great guests with a refreshment drink, smile and an always personal touch on arrival, share Greece through your hotel please.

We had the most wonderful, relaxing time. The room was clean and very comfortable, with a great view of the sea and surrounding areas. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. Gorgeous pool! Loved this hotel and looking forward to coming back very soon! It’s set on a mountain and is walking distance to two beautiful beaches. The water is amazing! We really enjoyed swimming there. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic and the staff made us feel very welcome. Thank you for a great time!

The hotel is located in Barbati which is pretty with 2 lovely beaches accessed via steep paths. The hotel is set amongst the mountainside and is modern. We went at the end of the season and it felt as if the staff were tired and ready for a break. Not many smiles except for the lovely lady in the pool bar.
Our room was small smelly and accessed via the patio door. It was supposed to be renovated superior room but I think that was a lie to avoid allowing us to change rooms when we asked. We had an issue with ants in the bed on the first night and we were treated as if it was in our heads- complete denial- lets hope it was just ants- I am not so sure.
the food was OK- but there are a few tavernas on the main road worth trying too.
All in all we had a lovely holiday because the views and beaches made it all worth while. Would we go to Barbati again- yes. Pantokori- No

Stunning views, beautiful pool and hotel

We have just got back from a fantastic stay at the Pantokrator Hotel. The view from everywhere around the hotel (room, pool, restaurant and bar) was a stunning sea view from wall to wall :-)

The hotel is classy and well furnished. The pool and pool bar area is particularly nice - I’m not a majorly pool person, but really enjoyed staying at the hotel by the pool most days. It was not too busy and a calm, positive atmosphere.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but very respectful and by no means overbearing or intrusive. There was always someone on hand to ask questions, and it was nice seeing the same friendly faces at meal times/around the hotel :-)

The food was fantastic - such a vast spread, fresh and yummy. We were half board (breakfast and dinner), and lunch at the pool bar was very reasonable (little supermarket 2 mins round the corner if you want to make up your own sandwiches etc)

Barbati (the village) is cute but fairly quiet (not a place to go to if you want party nights out)...a few nice restaurants and bars (beach bar is very pretty/nicely lit up at night).

Corfu town (where the airport is) is about 40 mins south. We arrived on a Sunday - so a €40 taxi was the best way to get to the hotel....but buses are quite easy to get in the week.

We hired a car one day and drove to other beaches - a bit more sandy on the West side. 7th heaven bar (north west coast) is a lovely bar and great sunset view. Kassiopi and hiring a boat we’re great!

Hotel staff and room were excellent. Beautiful location and views. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of fresh and cooked food. The only criticism I had is that the television in our room could only receive German channels. Other than that, a most enjoyable stay.

October trip to Corfu

Stayed at this hotel mid October. Marvellous weather and stay. Service at the hotel was brilliant. First night on level 5 in a superior room. Unfortunately no bath so we asked for a room with a bath. Moved to a room on level 1 with bath next day for remainder of week. Beautiful room (214). All public areas lovely-modern 'boutique ' feel. Pool area lovely. Breakfast was great-excellent buffet choice-something for everyone. My husband is coeliac and gluten free bread was provided. Buffet evening meals average but lots of choice and great salad bar. The outlook from everywhere is spectacular. Not much open in Barbati itself. We had a car and got around the island. The north is beautiful-you need a guidebook and go off the beaten track. Some spectacular views and beaches with crystal clear water. Had a drive down to the south one day. Mistake! OMG-Kavos-what a complete dump-don't go there! First time visitor to Corfu and would recommend the north and this hotel.

Great Hotel for a Great Price

The hotel was great, staff was fabulous and the location was more than perfect. Mountains to the back of the hotel and the beautiful ocean in the front, the most scenic view a person could ask for. My boyfriend and I went for a holiday and it was perfect. Definitely recommend going, great for all ages.

Fantastic hotel, stunning location

Absolutely loved the Pantokrator hotel. It is built on to the side of a mountain and overlooks the ocean. From the moment you arrive the views are breathtaking. There are so many places to sit and watch the sea and nothing feels too crowded. Rooms are lovely, staff are superb and can't do enough to help and breakfast is absolutely excellent. It is on a hill so be prepared to do some steep walking (or get the bus!) but it is worth it for the stunning beach only 10 minutes away and myriad great restaurants where you can eat with an incredible view

Was a really great stay at the Pantokrator. Special mention to Janea on reception. She was amazing, giving great advice on what to see and do in Corfu. She made the trip extra special. All the other staff were great too and friendly. Yes, the hotel is a bit of a climb from the main road but the views make up for it. The room was really good with a great bathroom. Only gripe is the lack of WIFI in the room itself. The breakfast and dinner options were really good and plentiful. If staying in the area make sure you stay here.

Truly An Amazing Hotel!

We were positively surprised how amazing this hotel was. Extremely comfortable with a high level of service, beautiful rooms, very clean... And a unbelievable view!! Every room can expect such a view. Perfectly picturesque pool! The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had some complicated diet requirements and they bent backwards to help us in every way. Exceptional hotel. Definitely going back there!

Fantastic views and generally great hotel

The views were one of the best things about this hotel especially in the evening at sunset.
The one thing we didn't realise until we got here though was how steep the hill was to get from the hotel to the beach and main road. Plus nowhere did it say about the climb to the rooms again up a very steep hill. We were in the very top set of rooms and although it was good exercise it was annoying this was never mentioned.
Th breakfast in the mornings was good and what you would expect from the hotel. We did not use the buffet for dinner though as there are some wonderful restaurants on the main road close to the hotel.
The pool bar is good with some nice sandwiches made fresh at lunch.
The swimming pool was good and the loungers were comfortable with a mat on it. However there was a huge amount of wasps hanging around the edges of the pool all the time.
The room itself was comfortable, unfortunately the TVs channels were not working properly when we visited there were only 2 channels in English which were BBC world and sky news. Not really an issue but boring at night when you wanted to put something on and all you can get is a repeat of the news.
The bathroom for me was below par. It was so tiny, the sink was far too small and the shower was the worst part. We had an awful shower head when we first arrived that had no water pressure at all so felt like you weren't actually showering. it was either scolding hot or freezing cold. This was changed but the shower is so small.

An Amazing Getaway

Hotel Pantokrator was an amazing discovery for my boyfriend and I. When traveling to Corfu you have two options. Little quaint towns or busy tourist hotspots. Barbati has some of the best beach areas. If you don't want to hit a pebble beach, the hotel has a lovely pool! Huge daybeds are free to guest use. There is a great poolside restaurant for drinks and food as well. The morning breakfast held at the main hotel restaurant was one of the best I've ever had. There was a huge selection of food- yogurt, fruit, eggs, beans, toast, cereal, delicious coffee...etc. This is not to be missed! The only warning I have is that the hotel is on a steep hill so you must walk about 7 minutes up or down to get to town. But take it slow and you'll be fine! The rooms were basic but had amazing views! Bathrooms were small and showers tight, but all of the other amazing aspects of this hotel make something like a small bathroom a non issue! Good luck and stay here for sure!!!

Hotel was beautiful with nice pool and pool area. Breakfast was fine, very standard. Pictures provided for the rooms to online sites were all luxury, standard rooms are fine but bed was very uncomfortable. Luxury rooms are beautiful and all individual interiors. Barbatti town is very very quiet, bus is available to Ipsos (always late) but is more lively there for young people lots of italians. Corfu town is about 40 minutes away also best place for eating out.bus stop is right at the end of the hill of the hotel (lots and lots of hills!)

Very friendly staff, good food and breakfast , hike down to beach, 8 minutes, internet does not work well most of the time, hot tub never was working and was closed. their luxurious room is way better than standard room which is way below standard but their luxury room has amazing view and very nice balcony and design. Far from Corfu town and costs 40 dollar taxi to get to hotel from airport around 30 minutes driving it is almost secluded in mountain with small village and shops and small beaches around .

Great place to stay for a relaxing holiday

A great small hotel if you just want to relax, a car is essential if only to get around the hotel site as the many steps are really steep. Was quite dissapointed in luxury room as was quite small, no bath, no wardrobes, no drawers, no cupboards, just shelving and a tiny hanging pole. Staff were really great, just unfortunate that the staff change over on our last day, to an english lady, decided to settle our bill for us before we left.

Great hotel on the side of a mountain on Corfu! If quiet and solitude is what you seek, with a great pool, this is your place! Comfortable room with a great view of the sea. The hotel is located on the side of a beautiful mountain and is very picturesque. Barbati Village is a 10 minute walk down the hill and has a few good restaurants to choose from. A tiny beach is located at the bottom of a steep hill. The beach is rocky and best navigated with some good footwear... Water is clear and beautiful. A larger beach is on the other side of the village. The pool area at the hotel is very nice and the snack bar / lounge serves nice food for lunch. Yes there is an issue with the bees/ hornets, but not a big problem.. Hotel staff is friendly and courteous. Breakfast is served daily and there is a wide variety of food and beverage choices. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet place, this place is great. The only drawback is the remoteness from hotel to the port/airport. Taxi is about 35 euros from/ to each... I would stay there again and recommend it to friends...

Situation incroyable. Chambre sans chichi mais ok et surtout (pour nous) un balcon avec spendide vue. Beau complexe et services ok. Très belle piscine. Personnel du resto trés sympa et dévoué. Restauration ok (bon et plutôt varié) sauf dessert un peu léger et répétitif.
Impression globale top. Nous avons passé un bon moment ... sous le Pantokrator

Das Hotel ist sauber und liegt sehr gut gelegen auf der Insel. Das Personal ist nett und höflich. Sehr hilfsbereit und jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt.

Was aber etwas zu bemängeln wäre ist das Buffet. Die Auswahl ist jeden Tag das selbe. Dabei kommt es nicht an ob morgens oder abends. Wir hatten nur Frühstück und haben mal abends im Hotel gegessen. Das hat 25€ pro Person zusätzlich gekostet. Das kann man sich sparen und außerhalb essen. Für den Preis gibt es viele leckere Sachen.

Was noch positiv ist , es gibt einen Fahrdienst. Dieser bringt einem zum Zimmer oder holt einen auch ab. Das Hotel ist komplett in den Hang gebaut. Also sehr steil.

Wenn man das passende Zimmer bucht, hat man eine sehr schöne Aussicht und einfach einen Klasse Aufenthalt. Meine Frau und ich hatten ein superior Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick. Das Frühstück ist ganz okay und es ist für jeden was dabei. Das Abendessen können wir nicht bewerten. Je höher man wohnt, desto höher muss man auch auf den \"Berg\". Parken am Zimmer war kein Problem und mir fiel es auch nicht schwer. Definitiv ein top Aufenthalt!

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel an der Ostküste zwischen Korfu Stadt und den Bergen im Norden. Durch die Hanglage immer Ausblick auf die Meeresbucht gegeben. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bemüht, entstandene Probleme zu lösen. Unbedingt Mietwagen buchen, da doch etwas abseits gelegen. Parkplätze waren vorhanden, wurden aber mit Beginn der Saison immer knapper. Frühstück mit warmen und kalten Speisen. Der Kaffee schmeckte schrecklich und die Kaffeemaschine machte bei den Milchkaffees anfangs Probleme. Das Frühstück war leider in der Woche immer das gleiche. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht, aber war leider nicht das ursprüngliche griechische Essen, was wir uns erwartet hatten. Lieber nur Frühstück buchen, Restaurants und Tavernen gibt es im Umkreis genug zu günstigen Preisen. Wir hatten drei Tage kein warmes Wasser, würde aber dann repariert. Pool ist relativ groß und wunderschön gelegen, aber Ende April noch viel zu kalt.

Mooi hotel op een mooie locatie. In de directe omgeving is niet heel veel te doen en naar het strand beneden is een flink klimmetje terug omhoog. Maar er rijdt ook een gratis shuttle bus. Met een huurauto kom je op alle leuke plekken van het eiland en je kan je auto makkelijk parkeren in de buurt van je kamer. Onder de berg bij het hotel is ook een bushalte, als je liever met t openbaar vervoer gaat. Er zijn lekkere bedden, nette ruime kamers met prachtig uitzicht over de baai. Het enige nadeel aan de kamer was dat het balkon alleen een klein laag muurtje heeft als afscheiding met de buren, dus je zit naast elkaar op het balkon. Het hotel ligt tegen een berg aan met veel trappen naar de eetzaal, maar dan loop je wel meteen al de calorieën van het buffet er weer af… de eetzaal is ook met uitzicht op de baai en mogelijk om buiten te eten, heerlijk buffet, zowel ‘s morgens als ‘s avonds veel keuze.
Mooi zwembad, wel ijskoud water en dat terwijl wij er aan t eind van het seizoen waren en net heel de week 26 graden was geweest.

Wir hatten nach unserer Albanienreise vier Nächte in Pantokrator verbracht: wir wohnten im superschönen Zimmer 207 mit Sea view.

Der Pool ist schön, haben wir jedoch nicht genutzt: wir sind Strandgänger und haben viele schöne Strände von Westen über Norden nach Osten in Korfu besucht.
Die Liegen am Pool sind wie überall und meistens von Deutschen bereits am frühen Morgen vor dem Frühstück bereits reserviert.

Wir haben auch einmal Abendessen ausprobiert, aber es ist generell nicht unseres: wir mögen einfach nicht Menschenmassen, die am Buffet wühlen. Die Qualität der Speisen ist gut und die Auswahl ist ausreichend.
Wir haben jedoch bevorzugt kleine familiären Tavernen entlang der Küste anzufahren um Korfus wunderbaren Flair noch mehr zu erleben:
*Fiisherman’s Cabin
*Bar Taverne Elisabeth
*Lampadina.
Auch die kleine Taverne um die Ecke“Panorama Kitchen & Bar“ ist herrlich und hat hervorragende Speisenqualität.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, von allen soll die Leistung im Restaurant hervorgehoben werden.

Die Verbindung zu anderen Städten ist mäßig: der Bus kommt alle zwei Stunden, ist unpünktlich und stets überfüllt.
Wir haben im Dorf ein Auto gemietet (bei Kings, wurden jedoch den Autovermieteter nicht empfehlen), sowie das Boot (Michalas in Paleokasrtritsa). Das war richtig herrlich.
Zudem haben wir Paragliding gemacht (mit Motor) und waren danach einfach von der Inselschönheit überwältigt

L’hôtel est franchement super. Toujours propre avec un personnel aux petits soins pour ses invités. On y mange bien, la piscine est super et peu bruyante. Le seul point un peu moins positif est la montée, que ce soit en voiture ou à pied la montée est plutôt raide mais on s’y fait rapidement. Je recommande vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.
Ps : juste dommage que le jaccuzi était fermé lorsque nous y sommes allés

Il meglio che si può pretendere dalle vacanze.

Avevo letto tanti commenti e avevo persino avuto qualche dubbio... ma poi mi ripeto sempre che se avessero modo di scrivere anche sui clienti un feedback allora ne vedremmo di tutti i colori. Sulla struttura non posso dire nulla che non sia positivo. Ci rifacevano la camera ogni giorno, la piscina è attiva gran parte della giornata senza alcun fiscalismo sugli orari e ti danno degli asciugamani con una cauzione di 10 € a telo, che ti vengono restituiti alla restituzione.
La colazione è varia, con tutta roba freschissima.
Complimenti vivissimi per la cura, la professionalità, la gentilezza che hanno avuto tutti i dipendenti.

Non ho nessun interesse nel farlo, ma devo dire che questa struttura, per il rapporto qualità/prezzo è la migliore che io abbia mai provato in tanti anni di viaggi.

Inoltre risulta comodo avere la fermata degli autobus a pochi metri di distanza dall'Hotel.
Noi abbiamo usato solo i mezzi pubblici, con costi che variavano dai 2 ai 3,5 € su tutte le tratte e li consiglio a tutti, perché sono puntuali e coprono tutte le tratte principali dell'isola di Corfù.

Complimenti ancora al Pantakrator Hotel. I nostri più sinceri ringraziamenti.

The room had nice view of the sea but the issue was the WiFi which was unavailable throughout our stay so we couldn’t use the WiFi at all. The bathroom was small like too small and with a baby it was difficult to use it properly. The stuffs were very friendly and nice. Had good options for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed the pool bar and pool are too. The open swimming pool was great. My little daughter had a nice time there and also in the hotel room. It was a pleasant experience to us.

Great place, lovely surrounding, great staff, nice view from the rooms, good food, located on the hill but shuttle service available at all time for free. Still helpful to have a rental car to move on the island.

Super rapport qualité/prix !

Séjour formidable, hôtel magnifique avec une super vue, de grandes chambres (supérieures) et une bonne literie. Le buffet est complet et très correct.

Faites attention cependant l’hôtel est à flanc de montagne et les chambres nécessitent de monter une forte pente à pied pour accéder mais ça vaut le coup !

Très bel hôtel, la vue sur la baie de Corfou est magnifique, la chambre très confortable, salle de bain superbe, tout est très bien entretenu et très propre .la piscine est également très agréable.
Les repas variés, proposant des plats locaux .
Nous avons passé huit jours de rêve.

Rigtig god beliggenhed med udsigt over vandet. Gratis upgrade til superior værelse, uden nogen grund så det var en fantastisk overraskelse! Så lækker morgenmad, og buffet. Værelse rent med elkedel og kopper til te. Fantastisk uge i Corfu!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à cet hôtel familial, nous étions 3 avec un petit garçon de 4 ans.
Repas de qualité, vue époustouflante, propreté de la chambre et des espaces communs, le calme à la piscine
Seul bémol concerne les photos trompeuses de la chambre dite « supérieure », très loin de la celle que nous avons eu en réalité sans baignoire et de taille nettement plus petite ... dommage.
Mention spéciale pour la sympathie du serveur en salle (chauve) :)
