The property was very well maintained and very well organized! The room was very nice with the hot and cold spring bath in the room! Had all amenities you need. The bed was very comfortable and AC worked well. Plus the rooftop hot and cold spring bath were amazing and unbeatable view of Su Ao. The staff were also very helpful, courteous, and polite. I was in town for work and my stay was dependent on the work, and the resident manager Lawrence was very accommodating and he also helped break the language barrier as his English was impeccable! Also like to thank Peter in the restaurant side for also being able to help translate and was very polite and professional. Thank you so much RSL hotel for a great , yet short, stay. I will be back and will also highly recommend this hotel to others if you are in the area.

Wow! This may be the nicest place I’ve stayed at. My partner and I came with my parents. We hired a car to take us there from Taipei, but train would have been very convenient as well. I would say this place is primarily a cold spring with two hot spring options. The Suao area is known for cold springs so really great for the hot summers. Our room had two private bathing tubs, one for hot spring and the other cold or however you’d like it since you fill your own tub. We went in early May during the weekday and there were two other groups checked in. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We only saw the other groups during breakfast. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Great variety and you will not leave hungry.

Wonderful property with beautiful clean facilities. We especially enjoyed the hot and cold plunges available in every room. The center of the hotel has cold and hot springs all around so moving from pool to pool was very fun and nourishing. Only drawback was that the dining options were pretty limited. They cater primarily to local tastes but staff and chef were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

昨年宿泊し設備やサービスが良く気に入ったので台湾コロナ禍明けで泊まりに行きました。全体としてはリラックスして過ごせたのですが、コロナ対策に気を取られてか以前良かったサービス無くなっていたり有料になったりしていました。もっとホームページなどで案内して欲しいです。
1 送迎 直行バスが減便のため羅東駅前まで往復送迎をお願いしました。これは時間も適切で車も快適なので良かったです。
2 リゾート用ビーチサンダル
前回まではお部屋に無料で配置されていて、ホームページにも特に注釈が無かったので持参せずに行ったらなんと有料販売に。大したお金では無いもののがっかりした旨を伝えたら結果提供してくれましたが、最初から込みにしてくれた方が良いと思いました。

以前は先着順で使えたソファー席が1000元と有料に。遊泳プール以外はソーシャルディスタンスを保ってもマスク必須です。
4 朝食
洋食とお粥は美味しいですが、チキン麺は麺と鶏肉の味がほとんど無くクオリティにギャップがありました。
5 VIPアクセス
フロントで認識されず、ホームページの説明を見せてようやく確認作業に入ったのでチェックインがややもたついたのが惜しいです。

Only go there if you just want a quiet weekend
Air con was poor, too hot in the evening, couldn't turn it higher. Food was poor quality, they close the main restaurant due to a main function and only serve food in the bar with small selection. Even breakfast was poor, I asked for earl grey tea which they'd never heard of. Nothing around the neighbourhood to do. But the hot spring is very nice.

Spa hotel in remote but lovely rural Taiwan
The location in Suao is literally the end of several train lines. The RSL hotel within walking distance from the station -- although they offer shuttle service -- is a bit remote, with little to do in the small town but walk down to the harbor and enjoy the quiet scenery. However RSL is most certainly a destination-hotel. The public swimming pool-sized outdoor and indoor pools range in temperature from ice cold to steaming hot, and many offer jet features that massage. The in-room cold and hot tubs are spacious enough for two, going quite deep so you can sit and enjoy the water. The rooms are about the average size of a Western hotel room, except about a third of the room was occupied by the tubs. The bed and bedding was luxuriously soft, and may be too cushiony for some. But given Taiwanese hotels propensity for rock hard mattresses, this was welcome. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, if a little odd. The hotel staff is enthusiatic and good-mannered. The room has cold and hot spring bath tubs and the former is quite unique. The room is well decorated despite that the pillows and the mattress are a bit too soft. The hotel environment is european style and is relaxing. There are outdoor springs as well. Every room occupants have to wear a bracelet which can only be removed at checkout, the function of which is alike to a room card. It will be a bit uncomfortable if you are not used to it.
The restaurant is closed at dinner hours during our stay, it was a bit disappointed that we had not have a chance to try out their cuisine.

This hotel provide every thing you need when you taking a baby! We feel so sweet. We will recommend this hotel for family travel! However, the breakfast quality is not good enough to matching its high price. In contrast, lots of famous and excellent seafood restaurant near the hotel. Staf was attentive and friendly. Breakfast was simple but taste of food and quality was goo. The only draw back is the moss growing inside the outdoor hot spring pool at ground level,it definitely need a good scrub. The indoor hot spring was even worse as I can even see the debrits swimming inside.

The staff are very polite and helpful. The service is excellent that I have never experienced before. The service can be compared with those 5 stars top hotels. Hotel itself is very beautiful and well-maintained. The room is ok. There are 2 hotspring tubs(I was upgraded to 2 tubs Japanese style room). Location is quite far from yilan town. Have to take train to yilan or luodong. This is the only worst thing. Nothing much to do around the hotel. So I would suggest to stay for one night, it's pretty enough.

ホテルの中に入るとヨーロッパか東南アジアのリゾートに行ったような雰囲気。温泉、冷泉は部屋の個室風呂だけでなく外のプールエリア、屋上の大浴場でも楽しめるのでとても良かったです。
