A very dated hotel which may have once been a 5star, but by modern standards - nowhere near it.

This hotel lacks in staff experience/service quality. The building is old, the interior is dated and the rooms and amenities are not clean/of 5 Star standard quality.

The rooms were not the cleanest, see pictures. Bathroom taps were coated in limescale, dirt on the bathroom floors, napkins from the restaurant downstairs being used as face tissues in the box provided in the room.

The restaurants, food was okay - however extremely overpriced for the quality.

The room itself was okay but not up to a good standard. The curtains were scrunched up and creased, wood floor broken. The room AC has also not been updated since the hotels opening.

Will I stay here again? No. Is this a 5 Star hotel? Definitely not.

The property is not well maintained. Rooms look dirty nd dusty . Even the top most floor had so much noise pollution from outside . Bathrooms were not clean . The property is way too old and many things need renovation especially bathrooms. Reception nd restaurants are well maintained. Food is pricy . Views from rooms are good. Bell desk staff are good . But their reception staff look grumpy and non welcoming. They are always irritated about something and are non smiling , all of them . Didn’t had a very good first impression. Will consider other options for next time.

Very centrally located from all four direction in term of transportation, grand and spacious. Best in affordable with quality. The best part is breakfast place and breakfast itself. Value for money. I booked for one night with booking .com at cheaper price but stayed at higher price on second night. Since response from booking .com is slow to booked another night

Terrible stay at clarks

It was a terrible experience.. Problems at checking, mosquito in the room, no hot water aircon not cooling and problems at checkout.. This is like a budget hotel.. Not even 2 star standard..

The hotel had my all information (US Passport Copy) but staff was keep calling to know , from which place I belong.

The room service guy was very scary in terms of his behavior with my wife. He was keep calling to get more information. When I complained the reception person only apologized and never tried to call the room service person to check why he was calling.

I will never stay in future as it is not safe for family.

The best hotel to stay in Lucknow, heart of city

Well behaved staff and feel was wonderful. It was so near to main market hazratganj, what was wonderful. I was alone on my visit, so passed time, doing shopping in market and enjoying the glitter of Hazratganj.

Good for Lucknow, OK elsewhere

The hotel met the purpose but based on other reviews, I was expecting more. It is clean. The room is functional. They're building a metro station next to the hotel which did not help me sleep, no fault of the hotels.

Untidy room, curtains not hooked up properly, worn and torn sheets, floor swept but fluff left in balls in room.
Good food but always luke warm and freezing air conditioning in dining room so unpleasant experience.
I checked out after two of the four days I was meant to stay.

Great 5 night stay

As expected, it was a clean, comfortable and pleasant stay. No real complaints here except that the wifi password only allows 2 connections. It was a hassle to keep ringing them to create another account. Most couples would need wifi on at least three devices (i.e. mobile phones each + a tablet/laptop).

Safe, friendly with excellent service.

As three female teachers working in Lucknow for one week, we were extremely pleased with this hotel. The service was efficient isn't and friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the restaurants both served delicious food. We do not hesitate to recommend the Clarks Avadh.

Very rude reception staff.

Staff at reception are rude and unhelpful in every respect. Other staff are quite nice. The rooms are OK, but my mattress was crushed in the middle, and the phone in the hall for the maid staff rang way too much disturbing all nearby rooms.

There are better hotels in town.

Very disappointing and frustrating time during check in after long journey over multiple sector since hotel claimed to have had no information about the booking. This is an old building and it is showing its age. We were told that the room was upgraded. In spite of that the first impression was less than overwhelming. The staff were friendly and courteous. However, sweeping the dining room during breakfast is not acceptable. Wedding and other celebrations make the nights noisy. All in all, the condition of the property and some of the house keeping practices are inconsistent with what one expects from a highly rated property.

The room was overly heated and the air con was just not working , apparently the room temperature cannot be individually controlled. We had to keep the windows open for comfort , the outside temperatures was appx 4degrees centigrade.

The falknuma restaurent that is on th 9 th floor after closing makes a racket for the next 2. -3 hrs every day, i would presume this is when the staf cleans up and shifts furniture etc. this is all done at 1130pm to 1 am, no complaints seem to work, the manager takes everything with a smile. Kind a disturbing !!!!!!!!
