The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location it offers a nice view and is just a few minutes from the beach. However, the rooms are outdated and fall far short of a 5-star standard.

The restaurant is chaotic, with a lack of seating, dirty tables, and repetitive food that is often cold by the time you get to the table.

The Albanian bar staff, particularly the manager at the pool bar, are extremely rude and clearly inexperienced. Drinks are charged for after 11 PM ( even for all inclusive guests)

Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again. Don’t be fooled by the pictures or pricing it does not match the advertised quality. This hotel is a 3 star hotel not 5 for sure.

BEWARE DO NOT STAY HERE

This place was horrendous! If you’re looking for a beautiful, typical Greece getaway then do not stay here. This was more of a Mexican style resort. Including Mexican food at the buffet??? The staff was extremely rude and arrogant, and spoke behind your back in Greek. There is no customer service at all. They stated that this property is on the beach. It is NOT and I repeat it is NOT on the beach! You have to walk quite a bit to get to the beach. The pictures look absolutely nothing like the hotel does in person. The lobby is dark, dreary, and dirty. Going into breakfast buffet in the morning there were still sauce stains from the night before. They do not do a good job cleaning the rooms. They basically just do the beds. We had to get them up there because we had a huge bug in the washroom. They didn’t even clean the washroom. We had a cup on the bug…And they didn’t even step foot in the washroom. Overhearing other guests complaining that it was three days and their room was not cleaned. I can’t understand how a resort like this is running so poorly. Ahtni who is one of the drivers of a golf cart that gets you halfway down a very steep hill is the only good thing about that hotel. She was extremely kind, friendly and gave you information something that the front desk couldn’t seem to do she should be a manager behind the desk because the other managers on staff were completely useless. When you would complain, they would care less. The music by the pool is loud rap crap!

Property exterior looks good but it’s not very well clean and maintained. Our room had mould on walls. Bathroom smells of dirty stagnant water. Mould around shower door and sink. Our leak we flooded the bathroom and had to stay in room for two nights before we got a different room. My daughter has allergies which prone to skin conditions exposure to dust and inhale of mould. I have all the pictures of how disgusting the room is and even when we were change room was a bit better but still dirty. House keepers did understand when we explain about the bathroom and dust everywhere. They came and use bleach to mask the scent of the stagnant water. The positive was choice of food was different ever from the main restaurant.

Our first day is quite bad as they gave us a room that is not as im expecting from the photo advetisement... after i complained they moved as to a nicer rooom which makes me happy and comfortable. Its an all inclusive hotel ...food are always same everyday so i have to skip the dining most of the times and eat outside... anyways i still enjoyed my holiday ... great place to relax

The hotel should not be 5 star, we would give it 3. Private pool very small also not secured so anybody can come in via terrace. I did not like bathroom not nice colours and it does not look like bathroom in 5 star hotel at all. Room itsepf was nice ,same sitting area in patio. Food ok but same all the time and nothing amazing but I was ok as I could always find things to eat. I did not like they did not have tea/ coffee at lunch and dinner time on the restaurant ( you had to go to reception or pool bar).location ok, good communication to chania by bus. Beach ok.

The big plus is friendly staff, good kitchen, value for money when on all inclusive. Otherwise, there are some things which need attention. That said, I would like to thank Louis the general manager for taking time to listen to what I had to say. By the way, the hotel group have another property that is the Galini Palace.

we were firstly offered a room in the depths of the hotel which was almost inaccesable with approx 20 steps we were then given a room which had no wardrobes no cupboards and no draw space and had to live out of our suitecase for the week the internal phone did not work at all there were no pluses at about this hotel and should never be rated as five star which we expected and think that you should send a rep for first hand experience

Property definitely not 5 star ! Many things not as expected after previous 5 star experiences! Pool was very small , made to seem mich bigger on advertising, surrounded by balconese beds which was intimidating! rooms alrhough clean were under equipped- no drawers ? Open wardrobe , no mirror above vanity table, although vanity stool was there ? Pool towel exchange in a basket in front of reception - very unsuitable and untidy! Bathroom areas around reception not checked and cleaned during the day - was needed. Entertainment was very poor - disappointed no Greek music, dancing.
Good points- breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied, cleaners worked hard , staff were generally very pleasant, although on checking out nobody thanked us for staying and basically ignored us , just chatting amongst themselves - topped off quite an underwhelming stay.

Over all experience, it’s okay, the hotel is in need of refurbishment especially exteriors areas just some of the examples again, this might be a one off, but this is my personal experience no air condition on and off for 48 hours in temperatures, reaching 46c outside
No water running at times during my 5 day stay also there is charge for all and then refunded at the end of the stay example need towels €10 euro each need a extra key €10 euros never been charged in a 5 star hotel before ?
This hotel is more like a 3 star to
4 star at best
But staff was very helpful and polite. I think it’s just the rules for the hotel that have been put in place that had to follow, but they could not be so more to help you considering the circumstances.

Initial reception was good. Disappointment upon entering the room. Wardrobe doors removed for some reason. Black grouting in shower compartment. Design of chair on veranda of pool access room was dangerous. decking was uneven and poor quality. loungers were old an not easily moved due to screw heads which had previously held some sort of foot to the lounger now digging into the wood of the decking.
The dining facilities were worse than a works canteen. An eating factory with no atmosphere, tables a metre from each other and a turnaround time for evening meal of 15 minutes. Awful. Not a one star experience. Can't imagine where 5* came from.

The hotel was lovely, nice peaceful, quiet atmosphere and a very relaxing stay! The amenities are great lots of different pools and chill out areas, we made us of the free gym too which had everything we needed. Food was nice would of liked a bit more of a variety though. Room was clean, nice welcome pack only issue was no instructions for the safe and the shower was in need of a bit of tlc (shower head wouldn’t stay up on the pole and there was no plug to run a bath). Otherwise a lovely, relaxing place with very welcoming, friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Paid for a double sea view room which was on the 5th floor at the front of the main hotel building so the room location and view could not have been better. Would not have been happy to have been in one of the annex buildings, including the one down near the beach. Also some 'land view' rooms look to be in disappointing locations.

Don't know where the 5 star claim comes from, this is a very average 3 star at best. Restaurant food also average and not particularly to UK tastes although always found something to eat. We experienced some illness during our stay and were a bit disappointed that hotels like this with a large self-service buffet style restaurant don't have a hand gel policy. Similarly they allow water fountains to be contaminated with guests refilling bottles directly from the nozzles.

Air-con in room worked only intermittently, servicing of rooms was a bit haphazard including toilet bin not being emptied on one occasion. Bottled water in room replenished, strangely, every third day.

Overall, had a decent week's weather (mid-May) which helped us enjoy our week in Crete, but won't be going back to either the Galini or the Stalos region again.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Staff were all very pleasant, our room was lovely with an excellent view. The Galini also has its own beach complete with beach bar, which was lovely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in need of a nice, peaceful break. Please be aware though, that there isn't any in-house entertainment provided, so for this, a person would perhaps need to take a short stroll into the town.

Lovely hotel

Hotel was much larger than I had expected, but lovely - 4 swimming pools (plus a shared pool available with our room) to choose from and a good selection of bars.

There was some confusion with our booking/check-in and we weren't given the all-inclusive passes until we queried it the next day. I'm not sure if it was a problem of our booking through Expedia, but we paid significantly less than what we would have if we'd booked direct with the hotel. We had print outs of our booking to evidence what we'd paid for.

Had pretty rubbish weather the first 2 days, and the hotel's tiled floors are not particularly safe when wet, but glorious sunshine at the end of our stay. There are quite a few stairs, so not appropriate for those with limited mobility.

Food wise, there's good choice if you arrive for your meals on time. Don't rely on the \"late breakfast\" from 10-11am as it's only pastries left. Queues for dinner, but it moves fairly quickly.

Good stay

Had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Was feeling quite burnt out, so not having to make any choices as I had the all-inclusive service was a blessing. The food selection on every meal was quite massive and also had a good selection of salads which was a big plus. Easy access to Chania town via bus (maybe 20-30 mins) and quite a few restaurants and little shops around the hotel area. It was a really touristy area, but luckily buses and cars take you wherever you want. The beach was lined with one hotel after another, but the water was wonderfully clear and warm. The hotel staff was friendly and overall the hotel area was neat. There was a shuttle from the reception to the beach, as the hill was quite steep. Wonderful for walking, though. The spa was nice too. Overall, a very good stay but not necessarily 5 stars. It was 4 stars would be closer to reality, but I really have no complaints. My stay was just what I needed to relax. Close to the beach, a few nice pools, good food, good access to town and had a gym. Would recommend the hotel for an easy stay.

For sure the hotel is not 5 stars, This hotel should be rated as 2.5 or 3 stars. The food is ok. For the beach you need to take a shuttle and in general the hotel has a lot of stairs so should not be recommended for old ppl.
In general i will say just ok hotel. Honestly i will try other hotel for my next visit to crete. Good point is that the day of the checkout you can use the all inclusive until you leave the hotel

The staff was so friendly and accodmodating. The room was kept clean , but we had a stain on our pillow that needed replacing, as well as on the blanket. The shower had very low water pressure, but bathrooms were kept incredibly clean. The rooms are a bit outdated as well. The pool area was awesome and enjoyable .

A very relaxing stay. As a solo guest, I still felt very welcome at the hotel, as the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was more relaxing than a family-friendly hotel because it is adults only, but it still had evening entertainment to add to the atmosphere.

Great hotel, a great place to unwind and relax

Amazing place. The hotel itself is brilliant. Lovely view directly overlooking the sea. They have a great selection of food with gluten free, local and international dishes as well as salads and fruit. For 2 nights you get to have a meal in their Chinese and Italian which are both really good and have stunning views. The staff are excellent and happy to help where possible. The rooms are a great size, nicely decorated and felt very clean. Overall, for the price I can't fault this place, a great place to relax and unwind. Only downside is the location which is about 20mins drive from more tourist related areas, although you can enjoy the local area with bars and restaurants and the beach.

I would not stay there again first we had 2 rooms 3 of us cut our legs a couple of times on the end of the bed they have a piece of metal around the leg of the bed as u go by it’s so shape u can’t help cutting your self even the cleaners also cut there legs on there too steep to go to the swimming pool there is so many steps where our room was u go down to the first floor and then u have to go down same more stairs to go to your room u have to carry your luggage down and up the stairs they didn’t have a lift direct to your floor and to go to the swimming pool from your room was the same problem .breakfast was ok nothing special l would not recommend this hotel to anyone

I had a very large room with an amazing sea view. The balcony was amazing. The shower was less than amazing. It’s needs replaced with a regular shower, not this contraption. Also it did not drain and the water was 4-5 inches deep after a shower. The fridge is very small and didn’t cool well.

this is a great hotel, rooms are clean tidy coffee/tea in room plenty of drawer and cupboard space and to say this room was suppose to be a partial sea view it was awesome. there are 3 bars, beach pool and main bar.both beach n pool have snack bar.beach towels are provided for a refundable £10.00(you can change the beach towels as many times as you like ,there's a hidden little gem of a pool with plenty of sunbeds just to the side of the hotel when on the beach you can walk into the galini hotel on the beach and order the golf buggy to come pick you up and take you back up to the hotel free of charge. the bus stop to chania is 5mins from hotel and for anyone whose thinking of staying here there's a local train fun rides doing quite a few excursions well worth the price plenty of places to eat and drink in the local vicinity

Very good hotel with exceptional staff.
We stayed as a couple in a double sea view room with shared terrace and pool. Each room on the terrace is allocated two solid wood sun loungers with a fantastic view over the pool to the ocean.
We only stayed B&B so can't really comment on the AI part.
The surrounding area is very hilly with some steep inclines so not for the infirm or those with mobility issues. The hotel does provide a large golf buggy which runs back and forth all day up until 22.00pm.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Will not be returning!

Certainly not 5 star - maximum 3 star +. Most staff not interested in giving good customer service. Bed linen dirty. Spa poorly managed and a joke - electricity not working, building work going on during treatments, I doubt my therapist had any qualifications.

This hotel is definitely not worth a 5*

Wouldn't be going back here, not worth the stay. Rooms are not clean and food was mediocre, location is ok but hotel is up on a hill which you have to climb up everyday or wait for the shuttle bus to take you every time. Entertainment was good but the facilities were not and going half board shouldn't be an option if people are going to be treated that horribly.

Beautiful hotel on the beach

Excellent hotel with a private beach. situated from the beach and up the mountain with different buildings. The view from our room was breathtaking. The food was fresh and of very good quality specially the local Cretan food. All the areas of the hotel we used were very clean. The hotel personnel was very friendly and answered all of our questions they even let us borrow their cellphone chargers. I will definitely go back to this hotel in the future and recommend it to our family and friends.

Not good for a 5 star

This is not a 5 star hotel. It might tick most of the boxes but there were a lot of minor deficiencies which were not consistent with a 5 star rating. The room was quite small and the two single beds were not very comfortable. The specification said the room could take a double/two singles and one double sofa bed but there is no way that another bed would have fitted in the room. Also we had to ask for tea/coffee making facilities even though they were listed as standard. Even then someone appeared with a kettle but no tea/coffee or cups! Also free water was supposed to be provided but when we asked for replenishment we were told that it was only on arrival!! The fridge was just about working. We had a shared pool (shared by 8 rooms) but the sunbeds were wooden and no covers were provided until we asked. Then it took 4 days for them to arrive. Breakfast was quite poor with most \"hot\" food lukewarm at best. The best option was to take an omelette which was cooked to order and was good. For dinner and lunch the food was ok if not always as hot as one would have liked. Also the selection of fresh fruit was quite poor (no bananas or grapes) and the quality of some fruits was bad. On the credit side the staff were quite friendly and tried to help but one got the impression that it was badly run. The hotel is located on a hill about 100 metres from the beach with a steep incline so it is not suitable for anybody with mobility issues. A bit disappointing

It is not worth a 5* rating

Having stayed in various 4* and 5* hotels, this one does not compare with its rating. The hotel rooms are dated with no in room facilities, the beds are the most uncomfortable I have slept in and the linens are full of stains, the bathroom was dimly lit and you can hardly see what you are doing let alone get a decent shave.

The breakfast was much better as it catered for everyone, vegetarians and meat eaters with everything you could want for breakfast.

I'm sure I read that it's adults only hotel and was surprised to see children everywhere. Don't get me wrong I love children and the hotel is good for families with young children because they provide enough facilities to keep the children entertained, why I was surprised at the adults only statement on the site (perhaps not at their busiest time).

There are lots of restaurants for a long stretch of the road serving variety of foods.

Easy and cheap bus ride into town from outside the hotel.

Staff apparently cannot change guests rooms after a certain time, seems amazingly incompetent.
Pool closes too early, not nice being kicked out before the sun has even gone down. Not everyone wants to swim in the sun and get burnt/skin cancer.
Some sort of system for showing that dinner tables are occupied would be good
Service at dinner for drinks was slow
Sea view room overlooks carpark - would have been nice to know this beforehand. Don't like things like this being hidden when you pay a lot of money and extra for a certain type of room

Fine for purpose and by no means bad

Our room was lovely, very clean and comfy and everything worked as it should. The hotel was also very clean and well kept along with the pool and short stroll from the beach (I've seen reviews about the walk up the hill if you're in beach side apartments but there's a bus all day!). However, paid for breakfast only and pretty glad because we were lucky if we got yesterday's left overs and a Luke warm! Although stick to pancakes, an omlette or cereal as a tip and all will be fine! The staff were good.

The hotel is at best a 4 star not 5
1, Our shower tray had a crack which leaked water all over the floor, nothing was done when this was mentioned to them.
2, The majority of the staff at breakfast looked like they did not want to be there.
3, they did not provide a curtasy room on the evening we were leaving , just a shower room to get ready in.

On the plus side the rooms were clean , the hotel in general was clean and the breakfast well presented and good

Galini Sea View Paradise

My stay at Galini Sea View was simply terrific...
Everyone was super helpful from the front desk all the way down to the valet drivers. Special thanks goes out to Zambia the beach/event cordinator who set up an amazing trip to see the gorgeous beach of Balos, which is a must see. And I couldn't forget the Eden Spa, where I spent much of my time at... Their services and staff were superb and I felt like one of the family by the end of my trip. Thanks :)

Hotel is not even close to what is advertised. Food was terrible and room was a joke. I payed for Galini sea view room with a partial sea view, nice bathroom as it was on the picture. Instrad i got a room in some shack a mile away from the hotel, looking in some garbage. They Advertise main hotel, but instead they put guests in different properties they own around town

Large hotel close to beach, convenient location

Hotel is rated 5 stars but although some good amenities e.g. Large swimming pool, excellent range of food at breakfast (we were on a B&B basis), in general I found the hotel to be noisy in the lobby area both day and evening - music playing by the pool a lot of the time, disco area right beside lobby in the evening, noise of ping pong playing and chairs being moved in the dining room area could be heard in our room all the time. Staff were friendly and very pleasant but lacked professional training. Many guests staying there were on an all inclusive package, facilities were good for families with small children but the hotel is situated on a very steep hill and has lots of steps around the pool area so not suitable for those with mobility problems. If you wanted to book either the Chinese or Italian restaurants on site, this has to be done one day in advance.

Everything was fine, except for the first 2 nights accommodation. We have booked standard room with double bed, but first 2 nights we had received room with twin beds in a worse standard.
After 2 nights everything was OK

Ideal place for families, lovers and excursions

It was an enjoyable stay. The hotel is great. Staff is friendly, sympathetic and always willing to help. The room was excelent. The food (breakfast) in restaurant was tasty.

Everyone will find something suitable for everyone. The room and the hotel - everything is kept clean.

Weak point of the hotel is its neighborhood.

Despite this small shortcoming, I highly recommend this hotel to stay in Agia Marina. There is here nice holiday atmosphere. I find this place ideal for lovers of excursions.

The hotel fully deserves five stars.

The entire service offered by hotel is excellent.

You can be actually praise for everything that is important for any average tourist.

Good Service, Nice Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay here. We organised our transfers with the hotel and we were met at the airport by the driver, the transfer was comfy and cost less than had we taken a taxi. We had a very nice room which was comfy with plenty of storage, a TV, a lovely view of the sea and a good shower. The only downsides were there wasn't wifi in the rooms and the walls were quite thin. The pool is very nice and we never struggled to get a sun bed, however usually those areas lost the sun quite early and we found it hard to get a spot which kept the sun until late. It was a great bonus that the hotel has an area of the beach reserved for Galini guests so you don't have to pay for the sun beds or umbrella. We did feel slightly outcast being only half board as we felt the hotel was more set up for all inclusive guests. I was annoyed to find that if we wanted to eat at the Italian or Chinese restaurants we would have to pay 15eur each even though we had already paid to have dinner included, however all inclusive guests could eat for free. Also there is a pool bar but it only serves food for the all inclusive guests. Although we paid to have dinner in the hotel we only ate there once as we weren't really impressed with the food, so we changed our dinners to lunch as the lunchtime food was nice. There are plenty of restaurants within a couple of mins walk which were all delicious and very reasonably priced with large portions. Also there are regular buses to Chania which take 20mins.

The staff at Galini Sea View always had a smile on their faces and were always willing to help. We stayed for a week in July and had a nice quiet realxing time. If I was ever in Chania again I would definitely stay at Galini.

Great but not perfect

We had emailed the hotel and confirmed transport from the airport to the hotel using the hotel shuttle. When we arrived at 1130 pm there was no one to be found. We called the hotel and they had told is someone was on the way. After waiting till 2 am and several phone calls later, the shuttle finally arrived! BUT we had to chase down the driver because he only stepped out of the van for 3 seconds before deciding there was \"no one to pick up\". Long story short ... Pay the little extra to take a taxi because the hotel will still charge you for the shuttle ride even after the horrible service (even if you're paying for a $250 room/n

Not to bad. A little hard to find, the road system in that area is a little difficult to navigate. Hotel not on the beach but a short walk down the hill to get there. Very limited parking. Pretty big variety for breakfast and dinner. No wifi in rooms. Almost expect that in a high rated hotel. Shower was nice and big, can easily get two in there!

Nice hotel, good size rooms. Internet does not really work which was an issue for us needing to work. Gym was very old and out of date lots of equipment not working. Food was what you would expect lots of choice. The wine and free drinks were cheap and not very nice. Overall we had a great holiday due to weather and the beach etc but wouldn't be rushing back

Overall an average hotel - didn't eat in much - even though I had paid for half board (meeting with friends elsewhere) - Lovely view from the hotel - hotel clean - a little shoddy in a few places (my room door, chair, and shower all broke during my stay, fridge at very low setting) - very noisy guests on two nights, well in to the early hours - apart from that it was fine - staff very helpful - I would question the five stars and would not be too happy had I paid full price! Didn't compare very well to a nearby, lower star hotel my friends were staying in!

Beautiful Hotel, friendly staff

Great Hotel, modern facilities. 6 people in 3 separate rooms.
Allocated rooms in lower grade hotel for first night which was an inconvenience but manager upgraded us to Junior Suites in the main hotel for rest of our stay these were beautiful and all had sea views. Also received an upgrade from half board to all inclusive for the last two days of our stay.
Food is typical buffet and a little repetitive but good quality and a lot of choice.
The hotel is built into the side of the hill above Agia Marina so fantastic views but a bit of a walk back up to hotel from beach and main strip but not too daunting, we had use of a car but still walked back. There is a lift adjacent to the pool that reduces the climb.
Free internet access but quite slow and only available around the reception area.
Pool towels available 10 Euros deposit.
Extra electronic room door key - 5 Euros deposit.
If you like a hot drink in your room you will need to take a kettle as no tea/coffee making facilities provided.
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would I return YES!!

its an ok stay for the all inclusive with alcohol, the nighbourhood is very calm and of no interest except the beach... but in between Platanias street (with all restaurants and bars, a tourist resort) and the main old town Chania/Xania with the old harbour, small streets and tavernas, really romantic and nice to stroll in the streets with the other side of the harbour having all the bars

Fantastic hotel and location

Just back 16th October from a weeks stay with out 15 year old daughter. Do not believe any bad reviews. Apart from the day we arrived which was torrential rain the rest of the week the weather was fantastic. We had a 2 storey room and the views over the pool and the sea were amazing. It was very quiet in the evenings as the entertainment did not suit us. Would have liked some shows or greek dancers but we made our own entertainment in the evenings and met some lovely people.
Food at lunchtime was very basic but the food in the evenings was very good with fabulous home made pasta and pizzas. If you like fish there was plenty of fresh fish and the chinese restaurant was to die for.

We found all the staff extremely helpful and friendly especially the barman at the beach bar and the waitress in the Italian and Chinese restaurants.

Some peoples favourite hobby on holiday is to moan but the beach is just a short walk and if you cannot walk you can always get the minibus up and down.

I realise we went right at the end of the season but it would have made a difference if there was some entertainment. Apart from that nothing to moan about

I can recommend the freshly grilled red peppers with tsaziki, but there were fewer and fewer during our stay. Nice swimming pool. Have to cross street to get to the beach.

Awesome staff !!! The hotel is not on the beach, but the views are amazing. The hotel has a beach bar that guests can use as part of All-Inclusive and is just down the street.
HATS OFF TO THE PR REPRESENTATIVE !!!! I'm hopping that all Greek hotels will hire PR representatives as the one from Hotel GALINI....superb job !!!

Not quite what is advertised

In the beginning- I was disappointed because the hotel at entry did not seem as nice as advertised. The lady working at the front desk was also slightly rude. Things did get better as the stay progressed and the hotel is one of the nicest ones around. However; be aware that the air conditioners in the room do not work well and it is a VERY hot hotel. Also, there is not a huge sense of urgency when any requests are made to the front desk. The beds are also very hard. Overall- the hotel was not bad but definitely NOT a 5 star- and definitely NOT as luxurious as advertised. The views from the room was amazing and most of the staff was very helpful. Great pool and ammenities as well.

Our October Week

Hotel was clean, comfortable, pool area clean, quiet overall. Food buffet surprisingly fresh (we had half bord and ate every night for 1 week). Bus route very close, although bus schedule was an unknown. For 8-10 km in either direction all there is are hotels, tourist trap shops and restaurants. No much ambience, but everything you generally need is close. Beach was clean - water gorgeous and clear. We were there in October, weather was fine. All guests were fellow Scandinavians (we are Americans in Denmark), so if you'd like to brush up on your Danish, Swedish or Finnish, travel in October!
Front desk staff were a bit ornery, but were ultimately helpful, just in an rough way. Pool staff and restaurant staff all nice, though. Most helpful and open to questions.

Vi bodde där 9 nätter. Lakanen byttes först efter att vi sagt till dag 7
Maten var helt feltänkt, eftersom det är all inclusive vill man äta sina måltider på hotellets restauranger. Tyvärr satsade de på att laga ett 20tal varmrätter helt utan salt eller smak istället för att göra 4-5 st med lite kärlek.
All läsk och fruktdryck ( går inte att kalla det juice) var inhemsk med betoning på hemsk.
Den användes dessutom till att förstöra den digra drinklistan tillsammans med den utspädda alkoholen som förövrigt var brännvin med olika essenser. Personalens bemötande var helt ok och hotellet var rent. Av bilderna ser det ut som att det ligger vid havet, men det ligger på en kulle. Det går ständiga transporter med golfbilar från morgon till kl 23.00 till havet. Jag kan inte tänka mej att någon som bott här kommer tillbaka för ett andra besök, men hotellet är bra som hotell betraktat. All inclusive upplevelsen är dålig.

Accueil si on peut dire pas de plan pour localiser notre chambre dans tous ces bâtiments , finalement notre hébergement se situait dans une annexe moche de l’hôtel en contre -bas.Notre balcon donnait sur la rue principale axe La Canée-Platanias : trés bruyant !! Il faut remonter 3 fois par jour l'accès très pentu pour profiter de la restauration et de la piscine.Heureusement un système de navettes tourne en continu! Le ménage ? changement des serviettes tous les jours ,les draps en 10 js :non .De 8h à 16h le personnel de ménage déboule dans la chambre sans sommation car rien n'est prévu pour signaler notre présence !!
Gros point fort : la gentillesse et efficacité de l'ensemble du personnel des navettes qui pallie comme il peut les anomalies et manquement de cet hôtel !!

The hotel seems a bit worn. If you want a quiet and relaxing holiday and perhaps are not very young, you should not choose this hotel. The music by the pool is very loud, and let's just say the music selection is very youthful. If you have a room facing the pool, the music can be heard clearly from 10 AM to 10-11 PM every day. We tried to address this, but we were not taken seriously. We have stayed at the hotel several times, but this was the last time. We are around 60 and generally quite up-to-date, but this was far beyond acceptable. Many agreed.

Vi hade i ärlighetens namn inte förväntat oss ett 5-stjärnigt hotell och det lever det inte upp till heller.
Hotellet är lite slitet men servicen och engagemang att hjälpa till var det inget att klaga på.
Vill man hänga vid poolen så är det trångt så vi valde att betala en slant för solstolar och parasoll vid hotellets strandläge och där finns dryck och snacks i baren vid stranden. Dryck och snacks ingår om man bokat all inclusive.
Helt ok hotell för oss.

Henkilökunta oli erittäin huomioonottava ja palvelualtis. Allasalueet oli viihtyisät ja aurinkotuolit mukavat. Ruoka oli lähes samaa joka päivä, mikä vähän kylästytti loppuajasta. Hotellin limut eivät olleet aitoa cokista, fantaa ym, mikä oli pieni pettymys. Hyvä kokemus kokonaisuutena.

Il bagno non è stato pulito x una settimana,solo cambio asciugamani. In stanza veniva solo ordinato il letto ,senza cambio lenzuola. Non esistevano ristoranti,all'infuori della sala self-service. La struttura è vetustà e scomoda perché dista dal mare 150m...in verticale! Per raggiungere la spiaggia( di terra rossa!) c 'e un servizio navetta ,non sempre disponibile,altrimenti bisogna scendere a piedi una strada ripidissima e con molte curve. Peraltro la mia compagna di viaggio per un malfunzionamento dello scarico nel suo bagno è stata dislocata in una stanza della medesima struttura,ma on the beach.....peccato che alla Reception non c'era mai nessun referente!!!! Ma come vengono attribuite le stelle????

Der Wechsel vom vorherigen 5* Hotel zu Galini, unter Beachtung der Erwartungshaltung dieser Kategorie im europäischen Standard glich einem Kulturschock.
Vorheriges mit eigenem Bäcker und Patisserie-Meister. Zwei Brotscheiben genussvoll und sättigend, die Präsentation und Qualität der Lebensmittel nicht vergleichbar.
Auswahl und Menge reichlich, allerdings günstig eingekauft und Qualität…nun ja stark verbesserungswürdig.Die Einstufung der Sterne empfinden wir wie folgt: Weil das Hotel an einem Berghang/Hügel gebaut ist und damit nahe am Himmel sind wohl einige Sterne auf das Hotel gefallen ;-))
Hätten wir uns detaillierter mit den Kommentaren vorher beschäftigt und uns nicht vom All inclusive Angebot blenden lassen, würden wird dieses Hotel für diese Kategorie nicht buchen.
Die besten Jahre hat es hinter sich. Auf den Fotos wirkt es ganz anders als im DETAIL und in der Realität.
Das -teilweise-unqualifizierte Personal (viele Aushilfen) bemühten sich tagtäglich etwas auszugleichen was nicht möglich ist.
Als Camper sind unsere Standards niedrig, allerdings ist die Erwartungshaltung an einem Hotel welches in der 5*Liga mitspielen will hoch. Andere schaffen es auch.
Beispiel VORGÄNGER: Jeder Tisch wurde mit einer frischen Tischdecke gedeckt und das Besteck sauber mit einer Stoffserviette umwickelt.Die Krümmel sauber entfernt und erneut gedeckt. Der Boden war zu keiner Zeit dreckig. Das Personal bestimmend, entspannt, erfahren und altersgemischt.Galini: kein Kommentar

Hotellet var mycket slitet och behöver renoveras. All inclusive alternativtet var bantat och inte alls vad man förväntar sig.

Sen försöker hotellet jämt klämma ut pengar från gästerna genom att ta betalt för löjliga sker så som användning av kassaskåpet i rummet.
