I was in Kihaa Maldives years and years ago a nd was very excited to go back. The island is beautiful and beautifully located. It is a paradise. The staff will make your stay incredible, especially the bar and cleaning stuff. What we did not enjoy is that the management is quite poor and they are clearly not organised. On pick up they were about to make us go on a domestic flight instead of the sea plane we paid additionally for. This was quickly addressed. Then two of our activities were cancelled without us being informed, we found out as we were about to go on the activity, they tried to charge us extra for things that were not included, they continued to misinform us, also with our PCRs, our transfer back to Male etc. The food quality is incredibly disappointing for a 5 star hotel. It is really rather terrible. Apparently the island has recently changed management - we hope it will change management again because the current members are not interested in giving guests the experience that a resort and island like this should. We recommend the place, it is beautiful, the diving centre offers amazing activities and it’s separate to the hotel. Just bear in mind about the food and the fact that management is likely to screw something up.

Other than that, one of the best holidays we’ve had. Amazing for couples, groups of friends and families with kids too.

the hotel itself is very beautiful and quiet and lovely however they have plenty of things that they can improve on.. starting with the prices of things. for starters the room that I stayed in came up to a total of a little over US$4000 and it just wasn’t worth the money. yes the room was nice but it was not worth $4000. secondly they don’t have any all inclusive packages that would be helpful for customers to save money. breakfast and dinner is included but lunch isn’t and then the fee for lunch is $150 per day and that does not include drinks so just imagine paying that if you’re staying there for two weeks. the manager is more than helpful and so is front desk reception. most of the servers in the buffet area have very nasty attitudes & don’t like doing their job clearly. the fans are never on so it’s always ridiculously hot wherever you go.. as for breakfast dinner and lunch the options are always pretty much the same and not much to choose from.. room service should be 24 hours or at least until 4/5 am considering the fact that dinner ends at 9 PM and breakfast starts at 7 AM I’m pretty sure plenty of people are really hungry during that time frame and there are no microwaves in the rooms so people pretty much just starve until its time to eat. I would also like to add the fact that I was charged $40 for a single burger & $15 for apple juice. I understand that this is a vacation and some prices are going to be different but that is just beyond ridiculous.

Close to Manta Rays

One of the few known islands which you can still walk around completely on the beach.
Well organized transfer and nice reception and bar. Great dive center.
For the price, the food needs drastic improvement and rooms need some brush up. For us, the steakhouse doesn't fit with the hotel and had the best food but with a heavy price tag. We had half board and the buffet at dinner had 6 choices of main courses but only 3 meats. The meat quality was also not good and they ran out of food quickly.
For the price we paid, we would try another resort next time in the same area.

Not a lot of Americans get this far. Long way to go, so don't plan on seeing many fellow Americans. It is worth it. This is at a UNSECO biosphere site. It is an island with rooms and luxury for those trying to break away from life for a few days. No cars, No stores, No sundries stores, no vending. Not a potato chip - Literally with in miles (by boat) I suggest a semi beach bum life style. Bare foot and baggies.
You eat, drink and relax and have fun. Snorkeling is great, scuba, jet ski, The sea life is abundant. Every evening an event to meet and greet at the main pool area. The rooms are very clean (housekeeping is excellent). The staff and reception learn your names and note your preferences, with you for every need. I travel often and have seen many resorts. This is in the top of the list. They work so hard to make your stay for you. Our \"handler\" greeter at the terminal. Can't say a enough, Took us from terminal to terminal, to process and got us on the \"local\" to the Island - the resort is the island and vice versa. These folks run on their own Kihaa (Island time). WIFI was problem free. If you want my honest opinion- yes worth the trip. The change from top gear to idling is a noticeable and welcome shift in your life. I say twist your lid off and let the stress bubble away.

Had the most lovey time at Kihaa. The villas were stunning. The beach was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Went snorkeling with mantas and sting rays. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation and can’t wait to go back.

Even tho the room was cold, the bed was really uncomfortable and hot we couldnt sleep. When the mosquito nets were closed we couldn’t feel the cold but if we removed the net we would be exposed to the mosquitoes. When we spoke to the reception he just laughed in our face and said remove the net and no one had this problem before.

Another note, the bathroom was outside so your exposed to bugs (crabs, lizards, beetles and ants) it’s not an issue for us but might be for other people who would need an indoor bathroom.
Taps and shower head had rust and dirt on the floor.

For 5 nights we had the same food with slight variations and it feels like it was a high school cafeteria

The island itself is the best one I have been to in the Maldives, our room was lovely as was the position it was in watching the sun go down but the cleansenss was good and I had to tell the young lad doing it several times the things he hadn’t cleaned properly or at all,the mini bar was crap and even when we asked for drinks we didn’t get them for a couple of days sometimes and had to complain to reception, the restaurant staff were very good and the food was acceptable, as I said the island itself is amazing but the people in charge of different services need to oversee their staff better, in other words better man management is needed,we never go back to the same island because we like to explore different ones but would recommend people try kihaa

Beautiful island and great staff. Rooms are a bit dated and housekeeping is not the best (needed to keep requesting clean towels and for the fridge to be refilled). But the helpful staff and the beauty of the beaches make this resort a great place for a holiday.

Made to feel like second class citizen. Room cleaning extremely poor. Room cleaned at 3 pm if at all. Night at a la cart restaurant which is normally part of the all inclusive was not for us. Screaming children everywhere and there was no adult only area on the island. Lots of mosquitoes around the sun beds. Food was good but no peace to eat it with children allowed to run around. Not the peaceful romantic holiday that we planned. We have been to 4 other islands in the Maldives which were great compared with this one. Snorkelling was ok plenty fish but coral all dead.Wish we had picked another island.

The Kihaad is beautiful, don't get me wrong. This is the third place we've visited in the Maldives, and the first time we pay the extra money to fly to a distant island far away from the capital Male. Considering that it was almost $1000 extra for the short domestic flight, and an extra 3 hours both ways (checking-in, waiting, boarding), it just wasn't worth it. The coral reefs around Kihaad are almost ALL DEAD, and millions of small pieces of dead coral litter the beach around the entire island. Beach access is difficult because you can't avoid stepping on bits of sharp corals. You practically have to wear shoes to protect your feet. The snorkeling trip away from the island is a waste of time. More dead corals and not that many fish. It's so sad considering this area is supposed to be a UNESCO marine sanctuary. There are plenty of better places to go if you're interested in diving or snorkeling. On the plus side, the island is very quiet and laid back. The service is excellent, the villas are large and well-maintained, and the restaurants are slightly above average. We've been to several destinations in the Indian Ocean and I would rate Kihaad as average. There didn't seem to be any air-conditioning anywhere except in the rooms. The \"semi-formal\" dining restaurant called SPICES appeared to have a/c, but they didn't turn it on and they kept the doors open. For us, it just isn't comfortable to sit down to an expensive dinner when the room temperature is 28C.

Simply beautiful resort with great dive shop!

The resort is simply beautiful! The accomodation is beautifully appointed ( we booked a sunset pavilion villa) and it was stunning. The resort was almost full during our visit but most of the time we felt like we were the only ones there. It is designed in such a way that ensures lots of privacy. The dive centre was fantastic! Gabrielle and his team did a great job. We completed our open water and our advanced open water course with Crystal, she was so wonderful and patient and we really enjoyed her company and friendship. She went out of her way to make us feel totally at ease during our dive training and took us from beginner to advanced divers in 6 days! She was an excellent instructor! All the staff were excellent and super friendly, in particular our room staff and bar staff always making the perfect cocktail!
This resort is great value for Maldives and just pristine! Highly recommended!

Great resort, I have nothing bad to say about the hotel.
We had a great time.
We are couple 30's years old and we stayed at sunset villa with privet pavilon and it was great.
We really like the side of 300's rooms.
We did a lot of shnorkling and scuba diving. The house reef is really beautiful and the diving center is great and professional like everything else in the resort.
The outside shower was amazing.
The food was really good and variety.
All the stuff was so nice and helpful.
We came really spontaneously after tow months of traveling in india and it was the best decision we did.

Lovely venue with very helpful staff but with some small deficiencies.

The resort offers a free dive trial for those who have not scuba dived before, the trial is to test if one is comfortable with the underwater breathing equipment, however each time we attended the allocated slot this was offered at, either no instructor was available or the instructors were reluctant to carry out the free trial.

Almost every staff member was extremely helpful and approachable. The island itself is amazing and you WILL BE blown away. The food was lovely too, although it could have offered a little bit more variety.

Nice place to enjoy water activities for anybody

I was there to enjoy snorkeling and practice diving, so I was happy to be there!
The weak point is that the place is a quite expensive one. I was just there for 3 days (except transportation) and paid more than 1000 dollars for the stay (plus meals, treats, etc.)
Anyway I have no regret!

Overpriced and not good value for money

The trip was a big mistake - it was a really expensive and not worth the cost. We had endless issues with the housekeeping staff removing furniture from the room without notice and moving our personal belongings, which was just not acceptable and when we complained they did nothing about the issues. I had to ask to have a formal complaint lodged and yet they still did not follow a proper process to help us. The food was very expensive and again not worth the cost. The dive School was really good but the diving was poor and certainly not what has been described. The best thing we saw were a few turtles in fact the snorkeling was better than the diving and again the cost per dive was double what we would usually pay. Please reconsider booking this island there are loads of others that are better value for money, better hotel and better diving. If I were you I would definitely look elsewhere.

Kihaad is a good place to stay in Maldives. We were staying in reserved beach villa which was very close to the beach, swimming pool and dining place. Non veg food was good as well and hotel staff provided spicy food as requested by us. Everything at Kihaad is awesome except that there are small worms in and around villa and lizards outside door during night. I would recommend this place to my friends

A magic place. Nobody told us that all transactions are in US dollars, which creates a problem if you want to personally tip someone and you cannot get dollars. The strongly recommended use of the safety deposit box in the room is a joke, because the box is sitting loose on a shelf in the cupboard. Reception said: 'but it is quite heavy'. Otherwise, this place is as close to heaven as you might hope. The beach, the room, the snorkeling, warm all day, etc.

I was a little worried about the reviews about this hotel initially. But after visiting this paradise, I am glad I booked this place for my honeymoon.
We stayed at Kihaad for 8 days. The property is beautiful and people who like to stay close to nature will really enjoy here.

We were welcomed with a few surprise gifts on our arrival. 50% discount on a couple's spa treatment, dinner at their restaurant Sarong, welcome cake and champagne :)

We booked a water villa which was huge!! It was built with an open air bathroom which was very enticing at first. But during our first night, we noticed a few lizards in the bathroom. But I really appreciate the fact that upon complaining about the bathroom, we were immediately upgraded to a garden villa with an enclosed bathroom and a private pool.
There were a lot of activites that kept up engaged during our stay.

The food was an amazing experience as well. The chef asked us about our preferences and cooked special dishes for us.

I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visitng Maldives.

Kiaad in the Maldives

Never seen water so transparent and multicolored in the azure/blue/turquois hues. Much deeper and richer colors than the Carribean. Babbling brook-type water movement with fish reflecting the rainbow. An experience feeding the stingrays and diving with Inah and team! Suitable for first-time or experienced divers.

Paradise! But I can't help stating how terrible the Chinese tourists were. Even the staff appeared overwhelmed with how rude these tourist were. No consideration for rules on the resort.... Anyway the staff was great ambiance amazing house reef gorgeous I can't give it a 5 due to the breakfast being repetitive. They could change it up a bit! And the music was great te first 2-3 days but by our 5th day the music needed to change! Great touch for the ambiance but it could have been a tad more upbeat. Some of the staff at the toddy bar went out of their way to prepare catch of the day! (Fish) the staff did their best to help and accommodate us!

Great diving, fantastic staff, good resort

The Maldives are famous for diving and for good reason. The Kihaad dive staff was great, they planned excellent daily dives, helped us with our next level of certification, and provided very good equipment. Very safety conscious also. The resort is one of the more reasonable in the Maldives (cheap is not a word to use for anything there!) but was very comfortable, well maintained and staffed by really great people from the reception to the restaurants and bar to the room cleanup. The food was quite good and they accommodated the vegetarian with some special dinners. The selection gets a bit repetitive after a few days, but this place is a long way from anywhere, so it impressed me that they got so much fresh food brought in regularly. The resort takes up the whole little island, so there's not much to do if you tire of beach time, diving and other water sports. But this is a great place to take advantage of the underwater wonders. Even the house reef, easily accessible by snorkeling, has lots to see. We saw morays, sting rays, octopi, eagle ray, jillions and jillions of reef fish, turtles and a shark (just a reef shark, but impressive nonetheless!). And then the dolphins came to swim with us while we were scuba diving. A great experience!

Perfect honeymoon

This was a wonderful experience for us. The views were perfect. The water was amazing. The reef around the island was a little bit lacking while snorkeling. However, near the dock and the watersports it was much better. We saw lots of beautiful fish and sea life. I recommend snorkeling with the mantas. It was breathtaking!! The food was a little different but not bad. The all inclusive package I think was a bit lacking as far as menu items and drinks. We decided to just purchase meals and drinks as needed. We were able to choose more variety and the cost was comparable to restaurants in the US. We stayed in 204. It is right in the sand. When you sit on the pitch you almost have a 180 degree view of palms, sand, and water. I recommend making sure you get one of the villas that's closest to the beach. It costs just a bit more but it is amazing. The island is very quiet as well. It is far enough from malé that you don't hear all the air traffic. Overall this was a great experience. I recommend this island, however, if we were to make a trip again, I think our adventure side would take us to another island. But only to enjoy their views and amenities as well. If we had a chance to visit all of the resorts on every maldive island, then we would most definitely return to kihaad. And we would enjoy every moment of it.

Had a very unpleasant stay at this resort. No service. No cleaning. No toilet paper. No mosquito repellent. Asked many times but still no no no…. Fortunately I still had my own stuff to use. Wrong minibar charge. Be careful to check the mini bar stock at check-in. They always found something to try to bill you. Paid for the pickup transfer and asked about the domestic flight details. No reply at all. Strange management. Not a nice place to stay at all.

Very nice and friendly staff, only one problem on this island is, that you get in the evening nearly always the same food. It is Tuna fish in lemon, kapern, chilli sauce and so on. You get every day grilled beef or Spaghetti. This island has also a big problem with mosquitos. if they don’t spread every day gas or poison you will have a lot of mosquitos bites. You have to intervene at the reception to get daily your “mosquitos service”.

Dall’arrivo alla partenza sorriso e leggerezza!

Accoglienza, ospitalità, disponibilità meritano voto 10. Isola verde, rigogliosa (da curare maggiormente).Troppe zanzare (mai viste in altri resort delle Maldive, forse fine aprile è il periodo?). Siamo ritornati con tante punture e, ciò, nonostante le ripetute disinfestazioni, anche noiose per gli odori rilasciati e da respirare. Spiaggia bella, percorribile a piedi tutt’intorno,(spesso odore acre di bruciato!). Laguna accessibile ovunque (idem per snorkeling), lato mare bello e comodo è quello senza pontili. Cucina da rivedere (con buffet più vario e internazionale), ed anche la pulizia dei tavoli (non si può apparecchiare su tovagliette usate da altri ospiti, collocando posate pulite al posto di quelle usate). Manca corretta formazione del personale addetto ai tavoli (non si può consumare il dolce con il piatto dello spezzatino ancora a lato ). Invece, preciso e puntuale il riordino della camera, grazie Khan, per la cura dedicataci. Sono in corso ristrutturazioni molto utili.... sarebbe apprezzato uno spazio per il dopo cena o per qualsiasi momento lo si desidera alternativo al piccolo spazio,(con 4 pagliette e 2 gazebi) in prossimità della piscina e del bar dedicato. Cari saluti al Manager J.Gabor, grazie per aver accolto le mie richieste; al referente Andri per l’accoglienza, l'alta professionalità e la grande disponibilità. Grazie a Tutti, il sorriso e la serenità trasmessaci (dopo due anni di pandemia) hanno reso la nostra vacanza veramente leggera!

Il resort ha tutte le carte per essere un TOP level. La conduzione maldiviana ce la sta mettendo tutta e si vede. La spiaggia è attrezzata molto bene e ciascuno, anche gruppi grandi come il nostro (36 persone) ha trovato sempre disponibilità di lettini e ombra. I bungalow da quelli più basic ai super con piscine sono tutti molto grandi e bellissimi in stile maldiviano. Il ristorante, è variato e il cibo locale molto appetitoso! L'ALL inclusive comprende praticamente tutto tranne l'espresso, molto caro 8 dollari, e l'unico difetto è che termina alle 22.00. La SPA è molto cara come tutti gli extra. Che dire??? Sono tornata qui nel grigiore della città ma ho ancora negli occhi lo sconfinato colore smeraldo e il bianco riverbero della spiaggia borotalco dell'isola di Kihaa. Pero tanto di tornare presto!

Resort perfetto per chi vuole vivere una settimana in paradiso! Personale gentilissimo, soddisfa ogni richiesta e ti assiste da quando atterri a quando riparti! Unica pecca: il bagno all’aperto nella nostra beach villa non garantisce una pulizia impeccabile. Ma per il resto tutto perfetto! Anche per l’offerta di escursioni, snorkeling, scuba dive, e chi ne ha più ne metta! Grazie Kihaa!

Vacanza top! Sicuramente alcuni servizi posso migliorare ma nel complesso l'isola é pulita e curata, le camere pure, stanno lavorando per migliorare il tutto e rinnovarealcune zone, ma la cosa non ha creato alcun problema a noi
quindi il paradiso!
sicuramente uno dei miglioro resort dove siamo stati , per me la quinta volta e per il mio compagno l'ottava

Для тех кто привык к высокому сервису и обслуживанию, то Вам не сюда! Потому что это остров, где живёт и обитает различная живность ) и Вы приезжаете к ним в гости, в их дом ;)
Впринцепи никакого дискомфорта они не доставляют ;)
Остров небольшой, но уютный и весь зелёный ) можно даже подумать что находишься где-то в джунглях, когда прогуливаешься по дорожке вдоль пальм ))
Океан тёплый, чистый и прозрачный ;) есть риф, где можно поплавать и посмотреть на обитателей морских, а их тут очень много ;) так же советую заняться дайвингом - не пожалеете ;) особенно от людей которые тут работают - прежде всего они очень классные профессионалы! А от Русских фраз которые они знают, ещё долго будите вспоминать и смеяться ))
Песок - как мука )) можно сутки сидеть и перебирать его ))
А какие тут закаты - просто нет слов, одна лишь улыбка и слёзы на глазах ))
Персонал очень отзывчивый и дружелюбный - всегда поможет и ответит на Ваши вопросы ;)
Номер большой и просторный, Всё как на фото, перечислять нет смысла ;)
Еда - Шведский стол, я думаю каждый найдёт то что любит ;) конечно лобстерами, омарами, кальмарами и осьминогами Вас тут не будут кормить )) но вся еда очень вкусная ;)
Кто пьёт и выпивает - здесь присутствует практически весь алкоголь ;)
Wi-Fi немного хромает, но это не главное, наслаждайтесь природой и общайтесь с людьми =)

Здесь живут и работают очень замечательные и хорошие люди! И я рад что я с ними познакомился!

Assurément un superbe Resort sur une île non moins superbe. La politesse du staff est exemplaire. Nous avons passé une extraordinaire séjours. Seul petit point sombre, les tarifs du diving center qui sont un peu excessifs non pas aux regards du professionnalisme de l équipe du centre mais sur la qualite de certaines excursions notamment le all day snorkeling et le bapteme de plongée surtout comparé à d autres clubs de plongee.

Sesta volta alle Madive...viaggio con mia figlia sedicenne...15 notti a buon prezzo...è il periodo delle piogge 16/6...3/7. (Mai piovuto) villaggio occupato solo al 30%....ottimo servizio all arrivo e alla partenza...camere ampia e confortevole...cibo buono e vario...personale di servizio merita un elogio a parte...precisi puntuali e se anche manca loro un po di professionalita il tutto è ampiamente rimediato con una gentilezza ed un sorriso....se per voi i problemi sono un po di ruggine sul rubinetto...una formica in bagno...un geco sul soffitto...qualche pezzo di corallo sulla spiaggia...be allora statevene a casina vostra...e fate godere questo paradiso a chi sa apprezzare tanta bellezza...spesso viaggio per turismo posso secondo la mia esperienza consigliare questo resort..

Vi har nettopp kommet hjem etter et 2 ukers opphold på Kihaa Maldives. Stedet i seg selv er fantastisk, med nydelige strender og en fantastisk lagune som omkranser hele øya.

Vi bodde i \"Sunset Prestige Pavilion Beach Villa\". Den lå på stranden, og hadde et rustikt preg, god plass, god aircondition og en fantastisk seng. Egne solsenger på stranden, og egen pavilion med sofa og bord. Føltes privat, med en fantastisk utsikt, og en fantastisk solnedgang. Det var minibar på rommet som: \"etterfylles med brus og øl hver dag\" Dette viste seg å bli vanskelig, av flere grunner. Kort fortalt, selv etter mange løfter om at: \"det ordner vi selvfølgelig\" så skjedde det aldri! I tillegg var Kihaa utsolgt for øl (alle typer) i 9 av de 14 dagene vi var der.
Vi hadde ikke bestilt \"all inclusive\" da vi ikke er så glad i å spise til en fast tid, på buffet, hver dag. Vi ønsket å ha muligheten til å velge blant flere alternativer, som angitt på Kihaas websider. Det viste seg dessverre at det ikke var så enkelt. Jeg nøyer meg med å si at maten var ok, men hadde forventet langt bedre kvalitet på en 5 stjerners resort. Utrolig hyggelig å merke at personalet i restaurant/bar, in villa dining, house keeping gjorde det de kunne for å bidra til at vi fikk en god opplevelse. Her var det flere som viste høy grad av profesjonalitet og en fantastisk serviceinnstilling, og jeg vil trekke frem noen som fulgte oss hver dag under hele oppholdet: Nooratiza Kimsi, Ziyad Ahmed, Abdul. Tusen takk til dere :)

酒店真的是太美了！！！工作人员服务很好，很热情。浮潜就看到了sting ray, reef shark, eel 和nurse shark ! 相比之下，深潜挺贵的，性价比不高。入住期间，只有在饭点餐厅人较多之外，其他时间都遇不到几个人，私密性很好。
房里的电话坏了，想点餐的时候发现用不了。。在酒店附近浮潜可以自己去，但有的时候浪比较大，因为没有附近没有酒店工作人员，要自己注意安全。Wifi挺慢的
