First the good: amazing staff, impeccable beach and water at Willys Rock, nice lobby and outdoor dining.
Now the bad: room was old and in much need of updating. Paid for a “swim up” room, but the pool here is tiny and mostly covered. Room curtains do not open, so felt like staying in a cave. Bed very hard, was sore after the sleep. Thankfully only 2 days at this property.

DEFINITELY DO NOT Stay here. The pictures are NOT what the place is. Their excuse was that google has not updated the pictures and that the property is being renovated. An employee told me anonymous that they are using that excuse because they were told by higher management to say that. We had to relocted to another hotel because there is a very large area of Landfill and Squatters next to this building. I Have the pictures to prove. For the price they charge I would not have paid three dls. to stay here. I reported this issue and sent pictures to EXPEDIA and they could Not resolve my issue. I had to pay Alot more out of pocket to relocate to another hotel. PLEASE BEWARE Dont let this happen to you and you also loose out on your hard earned working money by staying here. Save yourself a headache and book at a different location.

The property is run down. I could have gotten better value for the price I paid. The bathroom. was old and dingy, the floor was a bit slimy, the showerhead was rusting and almost coming off the attachment. The only thing I liked was the staff and the temp of AC was cold enough for us and was a relief from
the heat.

However, the bathroom situation was a deal breaker for us, so even if we could not get a refund of our remaining payment for the rest of the stay, we decided to move to another hotel.

What I liked, it’s at the end of the beach so not a lot of traffic. View was spectacular. Staff was great though somewhat inexperienced. Included breakfasts were tasty but had the same menu every day. The AC was fantastic had to be turned down not to freeze that’s rare in the Philippines.
As most of the time the property doesn’t match the pictures. There was mold in the shower not a lot but there. The biggest thing we did not like is no matter what we did there were mosquitoes in our room at night, not just a few a bunch. We solved that by wearing off to bed so we could actually sleep.
They trimmed some of the trees on the beach and left the branches there for most of the day and the restaurant area was covered for 3 days by large aggressive biting red ants.
They advertise lounges and umbrellas in the Expedia listing but none were provided.

Closest beachfront rooms of all the hotels we saw. Book the deluxe pool access room it’s worth it, literally right on the beachfront. It’s quiet here in Station 1, about a 7 minute beach walk to the center of Station 2. The staff is really great and helpful, booking activities for us at a reasonable rate. The beds are a bit firm but all in all, from my experience, this is where I’ll stay on my next visit

The room I stayed in was comfortable, however the entrance leading to my room was dirty and smelt of urine as the tolet that service the outside of the hot was right near the entrance of my room. Everyday I had to be greated by other guests underwear hanging on my entrance. Staff dont seem to have any sense of making guests feel comfortable and just all hover around the front desk instead attending to guests as I had to keep asking for service and for my room to be made up. The hotel is very untidy and has stuff like files and papers all around that just makes it look horrable and in need of attention.

We had ants crawling in and out of the backboard onto the night stand. This place just isn’t what it used to be and only a few years have passed since our last visit. Also, our keys wouldn’t work on both doors of entry, took 3 people, 15 minutes and some WD-40 just to get into the room and out of the heat with our baby.

There are 2 properties. One is right on the beach which is great and the swimming pool is awesome as well. The other part of the hotel has the infinity pool but isn't on the beach.

They took so long to find our reservation, when we had our cousins over they kept on looking was like we were doing something wrong. Then we kept on getting calls from management saying visitors end at 10 pm. Then when we went to breakfast management kept on looking at us and talking about us and ruining our stay. The following morning they called us again saying they were looking at us at the cctv, like we were criminals. The hotel itself was ok but not worth the prices. They even charged us for extra people. They put our room in the second building on the back when in the pictures they’re showing that there was one building on the beachfront. They didn’t even bother cleaning our room when we were gone. The pools were subpar and there was no sign of a pool with a swim up bar. If it was possible I’d rate this place no stars cause honestly I’m over the lack of respect I got from the staff.

I like that the hotel is along the beach and walking distance from restaurants. However our suite was right next to the pool and can hear the kids splashing around, our view was great but people can directly see inside our room due to being on the ground floor right next to the pool/restaurant.

Location is perfect. Right on the beach where the Grotto Island is. It’s easy to walk over to all the action around Station 2 yet far enough away that it doesn’t get crazy.

It’s my second time staying at this property. Last time was November 2016. I even got the same exact room as before. The staff is friendly as ever. But the room... yikes! Keycard doorknob wasn’t working so they gave us a physical key for it. Only one key as apparently, it was the master key to the room. The deadbolt to the back door to the pool access was broken as well. Got another key for a makeshift lock for that. Electronic safe? You guessed it... another key. The toilet was hit or miss. Sometimes, the tank would fill up, sometimes, water would just keep running into the bowl.

It wasn’t really a bad experience. I still had a great time in Boracay. Just a little disappointed that the rooms were in such a state of disrepair.

Not a good stay at Estacio Uno

1st room assogned to us smelled of sewer after just the first day. It’s possible that sewege system of estacio uno is not good anymore. We requested to be moved rooms. On the last night before check out, we got upgraded to a superior room. The condition of the room is not better at all. No bad smell problem but there are water leaks in the walls and also the airconditoning.

The hotel is simply too old and run down for the price. Plumbing didn't work (we called 5 different times to unplug). Water wouldn't get warm (everyday was a cold shower). Wifi didn't work. The hotel was extremely loud at night. However, the staff was kind and attentive, and the location is perfect.

I don't know if it is just room 207 but that room has to be fixed immediately. Aircon not cooling initially, then weak water pressure, then no water at all... When water was restored, the faucet in the shower broke off.. got fixed but broke off again when the next person took a shower. No wifi at all in the room. We got transferred to another room but damage has been done. Upon checkout, my bill included another room's restaurant bills when I told them they initially did not want to believe me.

Terrible... Paid 300usd per night for 2 nights.

Besides the beautiful beach behind this hotel, there is nothing good to stay here. The room is comfortable but it just match the value I paid. The breakfast is so so, the internet is unstable, the employees are not passionate,except Cathy!.....Even worse, the shower had no hot water and my hair dryer had a problem to fit the plug!!!!!!
The last night I paid more to upgrade my room to their most luxury one, I expected to had hot water for take a bath, however, it didn't, neither for taking a hot shower!!!!!!

Lousy Hotel with WEAK WIFI

Very disappointed with this Hotel, we feel it is over-rated.

1. WIFI is terrible, super Weak connection is only good at the Lobby
2. Towels are very old and dirty, please bring your own if you intend to stay there
3. Room is bad, not as what you seen on photos
4. Breakfast selection are very limited, stated breakfast served during 6am to 10am, most of the food are emptied at 8 plus and they do not top up. Unless we reqeust and we have to wait for them to cook again.
5. Hotel are far from the station 2 which is the crowded area

Nice beach just outside the hotel

Hitel is located on station 1, which has one of the nicest beach. The beach was beautiful. The service quality of the hotel was not up to standard. Firstly, when I booked a 2 way transport, it wasn't made known that it was provided by a 3rd party provider that uses a big bus. The bus ride was long and torturous. Upon arrival at the hotel, first thing that the staff told us was whether we wanted to upgrade our rooms as the original rooms had no view of the sea. This was quite a deal breaker cos they sounded like they just wanted to make that extra few dollars.

In general, the service staffs were not very happy when requests were made and on the last day, they ran out of breakfast food when we went down for breakfast at 8.30am.

The location is really good because it's close enough to walk to DMaill and the shopping area, but also close to the quieter part of the beach with good restaurants/hotels if you want to get away from the busy area. I recommend using the airport pick-up service because it was hassle-free and efficient. However I don't recommend this hotel for the following reasons:
1. Between July and October there is a massive wind break built between the beach and the resort, so there is no sea view.
2. There is very low cold water pressure in the shower, so showering is challenging (hot water has plenty of pressure so you get scorched from time to time). Cold water showers are not fun either.
3. The Wi-Fi signal is not reliable and we could not connect most of the time. When we did manage to connect, the speed was too slow for voice calls through Skype. We had to ask reception every day (sometimes multiple times) to restart the router or fix the Wi-Fi some other way.

During check in I received a page of things I can't do....the room was next to the pool on ground level with a view of the ocean. Well kind of.... I'm sorry if you have an ocean view why have a sidewalk in front of my window? With a massage table right there? No hot water to shower and the wifi was prehistoric!
The hotel is far from anything to do at night.
Could not wait to change hotels ...... Do yourself a favor and find another hotel. This hotel needs to lower its prices!

It wasn't terrible, but it was far from great. Rooms were dated, aged, and a bit dirty around the edges. The property and location give it great potential, but needs to modernize and renovate....clean up in general. Needs more than just a fresh coat of paint.

Unfortunately the images on the hotels website are not what the property appears to be upon inspecting. Our so called \"deluxe room\" had damage to the front door of it, inside had 2 queen size beds, a toilet that did not functional properly, bathroom floor was a puddle of water upon checking, floors had hair on them, shower was dirty, cob webs throughout room and the safe for your valuables was not even fixed to the wall so anyone could just walk out with it! Unfortunately a very upsetting experience

OK hotel next to the beach.

Careful when you drive up to this hotel you might get run over there is no sidewalk. Hotel is not what it seems on it's website. Very small and dated. Beach is nice but vendors will harass you all day! This hotel will nickel and dime you for everything but very polite in doing so. Food is mediocre but there are many restaurants to choose from in town. Best thing about this hotel was the pool next to the beach. Overall a three just average.

The hotel is not outstanding, but nice. Could use a little 'refresh'... Room are spacious, modern. When we arrived they had just clean the room, they put so much ambient perfume in the room or insect repellent spray, its was suffocating, it took 2 days to be ok for us. We ask not to use while they c'ean the room and it was ok. Bed are a good king size but the mattress is really hard ( question of preference once again). Hotel is well situated, no too far from action, just enough to avoid the late noises

A 2 star resort with the ego of a 5 star resort

This resort has done some serious photo shop on the pictures in the site. It is not a bad resort per se, but DEFINITELY not worth the money nor the star rating. The food is terrible, the staff is not trained on their tasks, front desk to the kitchen are not sure what to do... Evening time is very annoying as the resort will fully blast their entertainment band to attract people to their buffet which is definitely their priority, but are not considering the guests in their room who would want to relax. The music is poor quality, too loud and tacky. They advertised themselves for an all inclusive, but then charged us for water and other silly things... The pool is also more of a fountain than a pool. Being in the hotel industry myself, i can see much needed improvements to be done in this place aside from the service...

Well design but kind of run down

Although we had a good ish stay, our suite was nice but the edge of the shower had mold, on the outside of our room we had people hanging their clothes to dry out, and that really felt like a bed & breakfast. We address the issue to the manager and got semi sort out because they continued to do so. In addition, breakfast was from 6am to 10:30 am but breakfast was never ready till 6:45 am.
Overall I won't go back or recommend this hotel for those reason. Mind you we paid $325 a night.

Great location and customer service but poor rooms

The standard rooms with no view aren't worth the price tag. They were dimly lit, small and showed signs of wear and tear. It's also more of a hotel than that of a beach resort. However, the location on white beach is great. Walkable distance to all the restaurants. The staff were also excellent and we were very happy with their customer service.

This hotel is, in my opinion, placed on the most beautiful part of White Beach. I had a room with fantastic view of the beach. The staff is very friendly and service minded, but it seems like they lack some training. Which is in my opinion a management problem for the hotel. But overall a good hotel with fantastic location.

- The WIFI is extremely slow, slower than a dialup internet in 1992!!!
- You have to get the towels from the reception and sign every time you want to relax on the beach.
- You have to deposit an amount to use an electrical adapter! that's weird.
- You have to sign at the reception for an extra room card that you'll pay money if you lost it! that's even weirder.
- Breakfast buffet is below average.

PROs:
- A walking distance from station 2 (where it is happening)
- Very clean and organized.
- Friendly staff
- The beach massage is breath taking (we had 1 complementary)
- The beach infront of the hotel is one of the best spots for swimming!

Advice: do not stay. We've got a sea side suite,which DOESNT HAVE A BALCONY or any window that would've opened. Wi fi didn't work at the room. Breakfast buffet average,not much choice. While we were staying saw several couples complaining about their rooms as well,wanted to change it. Rooms on the first floor do not have any privacy,each of them facing buffet and pool so it will be impossible to hide. We had room on the second floor which was a bit better but still watching all the people passing by the window. WHAT IS GREAT: service was above any expectations,room service and restaurant menu were amazing. Location is beautiful close to everything and the beach is not crowded at all.

Truly Relaxing!

Our most relaxing stay in Boracay! Station 1 location is still the best for us. Far from the maddening crowd but not so isolated for us not to enjoy the other charms of Bora. The set up of the beach beds discouraged vendors from bothering us which I appreciated. Service was superb. Check in was a breeze. Our rooms were exactly as described in our booking. Special mention to the waiters who were always so helpful. Since it was off season and had no dinner buffet, they offered to cook for us if I wanted to buy seafood from the local Talipapa (market). The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices for both kids and adults. Pool was kid friendly and the quality of the beddings and pillows afforded us peaceful sleep. I would have rated it 5 stars but our daughter's room next had a problem with the flush (they did fix it immediately but it recurred the next day) while our room had a small leak from the ceiling which I only noticed the day we were leaving. We would definitely go back to this hotel though! In fact, our kids are looking forward to it next year.

Amazing place to hit the white each direct from your room. Located station 1 and can go the Mall within 10mins walk along the beach. You can enjoy the city and also quiet place in this hotel for sure. The staff are very educated and easy communicated in every ways. The room is perfect clean and all equipments are prepared.

Quiet getaway

Very accommodating staff, always ready to serve. On our last night we were surprised with a towel origami on the bed that looked like a dog. Really heartwarming. We just wanted a chill vacation and the hotel location provided just that as it's situated quite a distance from the busy commercial establishments. There were also not that many people along the shoreline directly across the hotel. Will definitely go back here again.

Nice Hotel, close to the beach, professional courteous staff. Now, I realize we visited in July - not the best seasonal time in the Philippines - having said that, the lobby needs to be enclosed with air conditioning. Also, any dining is done with out air conditioned comfort. Again, I know it was July, so perhaps at cooler times of year, it is just fine.

Very good hotel. The staff were very helpful with all our requests and the location on White Beach was excellent with great views. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Had a fantastic time at this hotel. Hotel great and good location. Staff friendly and helpful. The only drawback for us was that our room had no window. If we had known this before we arrived we would have opted for a different room or stayed elsewhere. So it did mar our stay slightly.

A romantic experience

We booked the presidential suite because it was our anniversary. As we entered, the view from the lobby was so picturesque. We got the presidential suite which faced the sea front and it was exactly like the pictures that we saw online however we would have preffered the same suite that was on the left that faced Willy's Rock (which was literally 10ft away from our room). The food in the hotel was good. We had dinner on the beach and there were firedancers and a guy with an acoustic guitar while having dinner in the hotel. The bathtub in our room had a jacuzzi that had lights in it that changed colours. In the day, right outside the hotel we managed to do so many fun beach activities like paddle boarding and sailing. It was an unforgettable experience.

Great stay, would revisit

Great location on Station 1, quieter than Station 2 with fewer vendors, and only a 15 min walk to D'Mall. Location right on the beach is great, Lots of land/sand between property and ocean. Good breakfast buffet, ours was included with our booking, not sure how much it is out of pocket. Very pleasing front desk that aims to please in any way possible.

Superb customer service

We stayed for 4 days and customer service was very consistent - prompt attention and very polite. We dined at their restaurant and was very pleased with the quality and taste. The nightly live music while dining added a romantic feel to it.

A very nice welcome, given a cool drink and shell necklace before being shown to our rooms. All the staff very friendly, always acknowledging our presence and ready to assist. The events manager extremely helpful, made doing various activities smooth and easy.

Nice hotel in Boracay, enjoyed my stay!

This hotel is strategically situated at Station 1 with a phenomenal view of the sandy beach and ocean. The busy street of white beach is around 15 minutes of walking distance where d'mall and the rest of restaurants/pubs/souvenir shops are located.

I would encourage you to get the ocean-view room as you will definitely enjoy the nice view outside your balcony. The room was quite spacious, well-equipped with toiletries and you will also be spoilt by the number of TV channels available. Note that the bed could be a bit hard in comparison to most beds used in hotels.

The staff at hotel is very friendly and helpful, while as far as the facility is concerned, the hotel is very new and well-maintained. The pool might be small as it is enclosed between the cafe lounge as well as the lobby -- if you do not mind showing how good a swimmer you are to the other guests of the hotel and you are not expecting an infinity pool, this swimming pool should be fine for you.

Breakfast is a continental buffet style with quite decent variety to choose from. However during my stay there I did observe the same food being served and I was unfortunate to suffer from food poisoning after breakfast which lasted for 2 days! The incident also made me realised that it is impossible to find activated charcoal pills on Boracay Island. Anyway, my partner was spared from the food poison thus I believe the contaminated food could be specific to certain dish.

Highly recommended

1.The staff are very courteous, attentive and friendly, very good service.
2.Our room 113 is behind the staff rest area which tend to be noisy where staff congregate there.
3.The electrical supply tripped several times during the night in our room. Don't know whether other rooms are affected the same way or not.

A pleasant weekend getaway.

Great staff. Very good service. The hotel is right on the beach and also close to Station 2 where there are lot of restaurants and shopping avenues. Food at the Hotel was good as well. There are however very little choices for vegetarians.

Good location with friendly staff lacks the finishing touches but generally most of the area does. Location just outside of the bUdy area but close enough to the busy area to wonder down. Rooms a good size but basic.

Had an amazing time at this hotel. A+ Staff

Location is great. It is far from all the noise of Station 2 but close enough when we want to go out for some drinks. The hotel itself is well maintained although they can do better with mainatining the rooms. Nevertheless, it was a comfortable place to sleep in and escape the scorching heat. The FOOD was definitely something we looked forward to. My boyfriend and I, jetlagged and out of sleep because of the World Cup, would set our alarm clock so as not to miss breakfast and dinner. Food was fantastic and the service is definitely top notch. I don't think I remember ever having to pour my own tea while I was dining there. There is always a server making sure you're taken care of. Also, they have cable which allowed us to see the World Cup games!!! I would recommend this hotel and would probably use it again next time I am in Boracay.

Has potential to become so much more

Overall it was disappointing. The staff is slow and lazy. No one takes any pride in working there. This place can be greatly improved by putting in a capable and experienced management team. Will not be going back to estacio. Will book Discovery shores next time.

this hotel is the best in boracai, the location is on the best side of the beach where it has not been eroded yet by the previous typhoon. the hotel is very clean and looks like a deluxe hotel specialy the way the rooms are decorated.
