A good hotel that could use a little more effort

Reception and restaurant staff were simply great.
The cleaning of the rooms and placement of soap and towels were not up to expectations.

Nice hotel, close to town

Nice hotel. Breakfast catered for all tastes, continental meats and cheeses, croissants, rolls and toast. Cereal and fruit, plus eggs. Friendly staff. We stayed in a suite which was nice. Lovely views across the town.

One thing I would say, we went out for the day and came back to find all the windows left open to air room. It was November and 0 degrees! Had to turn all the radiators on to warm the room brrr.

Very good option in Plauen

The check-in process was a bit slower than I'd liked to, but everything else went very well. We did not try the restaurant at the lobby, but did try the well-stocked full bar. The location was perfect for both shopping and dining. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and even though the bathroom seems a bit dated, everything is clean and in perfect working order. Would definitely stay again.

Das Best Western Hotel kann ich sehr empfehlen

Das Zimmer war explizit sauber, gilt auch für das Bad. Auch das Personal war während unseres Aufenthaltes, ohne Ausnahme sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffett war sehr vielfältig vom Angebot, doch die Brötchen in den Körben waren einfach zu weich, knusprige Brötchen gab es nicht. Auch vermisste ich frisches Schwarzbrot bzw. Dinkelbrot. Doch unabhängig davon, kann ich das Hotel empfehlen, inkl. mit Nutzung der Tiefgarage. Der Tagespreis beträgt für die Tiefgarage 10,00 Euro. Wegen der Zentrumsnähe, würde ich dort wieder einige Tage einschecken. Auch die unentgeltliche Möglichkeit der Saunanutzung ist lobend zu erwähnen. Am Anreisetag bekamen wir leider keinen Tisch zum Abendessen, da lt. Aussage an der Rezeption, nicht vorbestellt worden sei. Damit haben wir nicht gerechnet und spazierten los, um ein anderes Lokal zu finden...

Die Kissen waren auch nicht sooo prickelnd. Eines war zu klein, das andere zu groß.

Das Best Western Straßburger Tor in Plauen überzeugt mit einer zentralen Lage und sauberen Zimmern. Das Personal ist freundlich, und der Aufenthalt war insgesamt angenehm.

Allerdings ist das Hotel deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Einrichtung wirkt veraltet, und eine Modernisierung würde dem Haus guttun. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes.

Für eine kurze Übernachtung ist das Hotel in Ordnung, aber wer modernen Komfort sucht, sollte sich nach Alternativen umsehen.

Rigtig dejligt hotel hvor vi har boet før. Dejligt værelse og gode faciliteter. Tæt til byen. Dog var indtjekningen ikke god. Ventetid og restauranten kunne åbenbart ikke modtage flere gæster. Vi havde forventet at spise på hotellet efter lang køretur.

Ich konnte einfach ein Zimmer buchen, ohne erwähnen zu müssen, dass ich ein Rollifahrer bin. Also wie ein ganz normaler Gast. So wünsche ich mir das eigentlich überall, aber meistens fehlen dazu aussagekräftige Infos. Bei diesem Hotel nicht. Alles war auf der Webseite wunderbar beschrieben. Von der Tiefgarage, über ein wirklich gemütliches rolligerechtes Zimmer bishin zu teppichlosem Restaurant. Besser hätte ich das für mich nicht planen können. :) Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und die Auswahl beim Frühstück hervorragend. Ebenso die Qualität bei der Abendkarte. Ich danke herzlich. So konnte ich endlich mal einen Urlaub genießen, ohne Kompromisse bei der Unterkunft in Kauf nehmen zu müssen.

Nähe zum Zentrum ist unschlagbar, die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist ebenso zu loben. Verbessert werden könnte in Zukunft evtl. die Verpackung für Gästeartikel, war für uns zu viel unnötiger Verpackungsmüll. Ansonsten nur weiterzuempfehlen.

Die Lage ist super. Die direkte Nähe zum Altmarkt war perfekt für einen abendlichen Weihnachtsmarktbesuch. Ausreichend Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage vorhanden.

Es war okay.
Das Frühstück würde früher als angegeben abgebaut, da jeden Sonntag Brunch für externe Gäste veranstaltet wird.
Der Check-In war unkompliziert, der Check-Out eine Katastrophe, da eine Dreiviertelstunde lang niemand auffindbar war, der dazu in der Lage gewesen wäre.
Ansonsten eine typische Kleinstadt in Sachsen ...

Zentrumslage

Leider hatten die Museen geschlossen, wie so oft an einem Montag.
Wir werden dieses Hotel bei einer anderen Durchreise wieder buchen. Ansonsten hatten wir

Ich fand das Hotel sauber und angenehm war die Hilfsbereitschaft.
Ich war zum ersten mal im Vogtland und fand die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sehr interessant und habe einiges ausgesucht. Leider war der Aufenthalt viel zu kurz - das nächste mal wird er länger.
