The hotel is really all you need. The room is not large, but good enough for a couple. Good breakfast, easy to find from the train station and close to shopping, etc. I would stay there again each time I would come to this area.

I recommend JR Mets

its location is very convenient, just a few minutes away from the train station, Ofuna, and shopping areas are right there. Rooms are rather sizable compared to other this type of Japanese hotels. Over all this hotel is one of my favorites in Japan.

The hotel is just 3 min walk from Ofuna train station so there will be noises from the train till midnight. I was given a room facing the tracks but I realise I can’t sleep with the perpetual noises so I requested for another room. Thankfully there was one room available facing the street which was better for me because even though there is a monorail track, the interval is longer and it was quieter compared to the trains. Other than this, I had a comfortable stay here and it was very convenient to commute since you have the options of trains, buses and monorail just a few minutes of walk away.

Great stay!

Hotel was in pristine condition! The rooms were clean and crisp. Although on the small side, we had all what we needed. The amenities can be grabbed by the hotel lobby and in quantities one needs. There are vending machines and a laundry in the back of the lobby and a free coffee machine right across the elevator. All in all a pleasant experience!

Great staff, the hotel is basic but nice. Very close to the train station. As for the restaurant, the dinner menu is nice, but the breakfast is rather disappointing, and the morning staff seem to be a little disengaged, but compared to the terrible basic breakfast options and barely-even-there staff at most basic hotels in the U.S. the restaurant here is 4-star fantastic.

Right next to Ofuna station which is perfect for… everything. Makes going to Tokyo so much easier. If planning to visit Kamakura or Enoshima, stay here instead of being near to Kamakura or Enoshima station. Laundry machine was nice and has great security feature. So many places to eat nearby.

Quality hotel in decent location

Very friendly service, lovely amenities at front desk. Breakfast included is just ok, but does the job for a day of sightseeing and also offers quality service.

Bathroom is nice, room is spacious and location in Ofuna is really good for trains and buses into Kamakura, but also for the monorail to Enoshima (14m away!). Didn't dine in the area, but safe, easy, quiet.

We enjoyed our stay very much. They provided a wonderful baby bed, which meant we didn’t need to carry ours. The breakfast was great. The staff at the hotel were the nicest! The best part was the proximity to Ofuna station. Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the train tracks but the room was soundproof! We rode the Enoden line nearby during our stay and had a fun day.

Great location. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Ōfuna train station has easy access to tourist attractions in Kamakura (the old Japanese capital) and Enoshima (one of the sites of the upcoming summer Olympic Games). Service is fantastic and rooms are clean and comfortable.

3 night business trip, very convenient, walking close to OFUNA rail station, the last stop on the western Tokyo / Yokohama suburbs for the Narita Express Line (NEX).
Hotel is super modern, decent size for mid range Japanese hotels, all AC, room heat and other room controls are in Japanese (but the fancy toilet has pictures), so it was a bit difficult adjusting temperature settings. Bed was better than good, TV is all Japanese, so load up your Netflix accounts before the trip if you don’t do Japanese language programming!

You can get to the hotel straight from the Ofuna Station. The check-in is quick and the staff is welcoming. I had a cityscape view with a monorail, which I really recommend taking for a view of Mt. Fuji in clear weather. The room is clean, bed comfortable, AC and air purifier quiet, internet fast, bathroom in great condition and you can take toiletries such as bath salts in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was delicious - you have a choice of about 8 dishes and then you have a buffet of rice, miso soup, pickles, yoghurt, tea, coffee, toasts... all to your heart's content. Overall this is a great hotel for exploring the Kamakura region!

I've stayed in a lot of hotels and about a dozen or so in Japan and I must say this was one of the best stays. The place was immaculately clean and had pretty much everything you would want at a hotel. Yes, it was wasn't a huge room and standard in size by Japanese standards, but if you are like me and traveling solo, it was plenty of space. There is a washer and dryer down near the lobby and although the instruction were in Japanese, the staff took their time to help explain how to use it. The breakfast was good and the staff very pleasant. There is a 7-11 just a few minutes walk from the hotel which comes in handy for us foreign travelers who need an ATM. The hotel is right next to the train and bus station which is a big plus. The station itself has a mall attached too it, so there are lots of food choices and shopping as well. This hotel is a good alternative to staying in Kamakura if you can not find a decent hotel near there as the train ride there is very short and trains run there all the time. If I was back in Ofuna, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
