Nice holiday hotel

Lovely hotel. We stayed with breakfast included. Found the menu for evening meals was a bit limited. So thoroughly recommended the family restaurant opposite. Bar staff were lovely and staff on breakfast duties were also very attentive.

We picked this particular hotel because it was near family and we’ve stayed here before. Nice hotel and breakfast was plentiful. We specifically didn’t stay with family because they don’t have air conditioning but might have well have. This hotel controls the air conditioning with very little control on our end. No matter how many times we addressed the issue that our room was too hot it went on deaf ears. Staff seemed unsympathetic. 4 years ago it was the same issue and my husband had to get really angry to get the situation rectified. This is the last time we’ll stay here. For a hotel that promotes wellness they should consider a good nights sleep just as important as their spa services.

What a waste of a hotel

This hotel is a joke. We get there and they give us the wrong room. The air conditioner doesnt work, and it was 95 degrees. No pne answes the reception room and the rooms smell like mildew. The tv doesnt work. Horrible experience would never recommend. They should close the hotel down

Excellent Thermal Pools

Ths rooms are basic by North American standards however the thermal pools are excellent. The thermal water comes from the Sele river which can be seen from the property. In addition to the large pool there are mud pools. Staff tried to charge extra for entering the pools but acquiesced. Region is popular with Italians otherwise not well known.

Concerns about this hotel

See photos showing fire doors propped open and fire detector covered. All alarm operation units were also covered. The fire alarm system in this part of the complex would not work in the event of a fire situation. There was no documentation on display as is required by law about what to do in the event of a fire. Building work was on going on the floor above us. This building was not ready for occupation. This building did not conform with Safety legislation
The room staff and restaurant staff were exceptionally good.
If you are going to recommend premises you should ensure that all legislstion is fully complied with.

Hotel and area is fine - sulphur smell offputting.

We chose this hotel because it was in a small village rather than on the busy Amalfi coast. The first thing that hit us was the smell. I had not considered the sulphur smell would have been as strong as it was. We had not booked the hotel to use the spa, just a relaxing break in the sun. I did consider changing hotel because the smell was overpowering but on some days it disappeared only to come back again. We could not fault the hotel itself except the dinner menu was very restricted and although the food was OK it was certainly nothing special. We decided to eat out at two other hotels - the Taverna Vecchia being excellent in taste, quality and price. Whatever we ordered (including a carafe of wine) came to 25 Euros for two!!!! The staff at the Hotel Terme Capasso were very helpful if you needed them. Although their command of the English Language was not great we got by with a phrase book and gesticulations. There was plenty of choice at Breakfast. It was continental only as advertised. The local bars in the village were excellent. There was no need to go out of the village if you didn't want to. There is a local supermarket which had all the required basics - Beer, Wine and water at sensible prices. The spa is most definitely the most dominant feature of the hotel.

I didn't think much of the hotel. The wifi wasn't working in the rooms, and I like a firm bed but theirs was too firm. In all fairness I didn't use any of the spa facilities which is the whole point I guess; my travel mates did and they were very pleased. The breakfast was pretty lame; no hot food, awful bread, packaged cereal, no low fat milk,

Good food, nice staff

My situation was unusual as I didn't stay here for the spa. It's location was right in the middle of 4 villages I was visiting to do family research. I stayed for nearly a week, and I really have no complaints. The food was good. Dinner each night was great and the wait staff was really very nice. Breakfast was as good as I've seen anywhere else in Italy. They had lots to choose from and everything was delicious. The surrounding neighborhood was a bit grim, but I'd imagine most people who stay here have a car as it's far from any town. I never went to the spa or the pool. My trip was for other things and I'm not really into massages and such. The prices weren't outrageous for the spa but I could see how that could start adding up if you went for a few different treatments. I did like having my own balcony since I'm a smoker.

Il personale in particolare quello del bar prima di accedere alle piscine stamattina siamo andati a prendere un caffè non solo non hanno salutato quando siamo entrati ma non hanno risposto neanche al nostro buongiorno. Ci hanno servito caffe e hanno continuando a stare con la testa nel cellulare come se noi non esistessimo. Due ragazze xhe per quanto riguarda l'ospitalità e l educazione ne sanno ben poco.In portineria un po meglio ma anxhe lasciano desiderare. Io e mio marito abbiamo lavorato per anni in hotel e dalle nostre parti i clienti si accorgono con il sorriso sulle labbra e si salutano ogni volta che li si vede. Buongiorno e buonasera sono la base da cui partire. Lunica ragazza gentile cordiale che abbiamo avuto il piacere di incontrare nella struttura è quella del centro benessere dove abbiamo fatto idromassaggio.

Personale di pulizia nelle camere, efficiente e disponibile, ma la TV non si vedeva e non sono riusciti a farmela vedere.
Colazione ottima come il servizio, la temperatura dell'acqua in piscina è troppo alta e l'orologio che sarebbe utile, è un problema che hanno provato a risolvere, ma non ci sono riusciti.
Tutto il personale è scelto ed efficiente, anche nella zona termale.

Frukosten är väldigt god. Rummen är ganska spartanska men hela och rena. Dock var det alldeles för varmt i rummet. Det gick inte sova. 27 grader i rummet. Och när jag bad att de skulle sätta på ACn på hotellet gick det inte. Jag fick dock en fläkt.

Il personale è efficiente e professionale, alcuni locali sono curati e puliti però all'esterno la struttura non è curata: erbacce tra le piastrelle, muri e colonnine da verniciare, insomma niente che non si possa migliorare.
Le stanze erano sufficientemente pulite ma i vetri della porta finestra proprio no.
Tutto sommato con delle accortezze ha un grande potenziale.
Non basta avere un acqua curativa per avere l'effetto gradevole delle terme.

Bellissima struttura, ottima per rilassarsi e passare qualche giorno lontano da tutto. Le vasche hanno diverse temperature e sono alimentate da geyser naturali. Nelle vasche c'è fango termale naturale e il parco è immerso nella natura. Personale gentilissimo e camera confortevole. Di fronte alla struttura ottimo ristorante per cenare. Il nostro soggiorno è stato perfetto. Torneremo molto presto.

Piscina termale esterna senza alcuna indicazione della profondità e della presenza degli scalini x la discesa in acqua. La struttura permette di bagnarsi mella piscina all'aperto fino alle 23. L'atmosfera è davvero suggestiva, in quanto al caldo delle acque termali, si contrappone il freddo pungente della notte con vista sulle montagne innevate in questo periodo invernale. La pulizia delle camere, la gentilezza del personale ed i tanti servizi offerti, sono senz'altro i punti di forza. Nulla da segnalare in negativo.

Le terme sono un’esperienza favolosa, si esce come rinati dalle piscine che sono accessibili fino alle 23. Siamo stati fortunati di aver trovato pochissimi altri ospiti (giorno infrasettimanale) e di esserci goditi le piscine in intimità e silenzio. La camera era piccola ma pulita; unica pecca era il bar/ristorante di fronte che verso mezzanotte si è trasformato in discoteca e ha creato molto casino notturno. Il ristorante era buono, solo il vino mediocre; si poteva scegliere tra due primi e due secondi. L‘unica cosa che vorrei veramente nominare in modo critico è la tariffa di 40 € a persona per poter accedere all‘area spa/saune per un‘ora. A 40 € mi aspetterei un accesso giornaliero oppure un prezzo di gruppo. Nella pressione di usufruire tutto in un‘ora passerebbe tutto il benessere e godimento del momento.
P.S.: Il capo della manutenzione si è rifiutato di prestarci una semplice chiave inglese per avvitare una scocca della macchina (che si era allentata durante il viaggio d‘arrivo).

Svalvelosande miljö mitt i ingenstans. Poolerna var häftiga, sköna att bada i. Enbart instruktioner på italienska om hur baden ska gå till. Frukosten helt okej. Kraftigt parfymerad inomhusluft i ett av rummen, troligen för att dölja (den helt naturliga) svavellukten.

Niente da dire sulla struttura e sulle piscine termali. Il ristorante è pessimo, ha prezzi da ristorante di classe e piatti da bettola di periferia. Ad esempio, vendono una \"patata prezzemolata\", che altro non è che una patata bollita (mezza cruda), sbucciata, tagliata grossolanamente a pezzettoni e cosparsa da un trito di prezzemolo a 5€. Soggiornate qui senza remore, ma mangiate altrove

Unica nota stonata il materasso ke seppur gliel avevo fatto notare il giorno prima ke s affondava hanno fatto bene a girarlo ma comunque ci si affondava lo stesso.. dico io nn sarebbe stato normale cambiarlo ed accontentare il cliente? Peccato perdersi x cosi poco ..un errore cosi penso sia grave anche perche z due giorni ho dormito poco e male..
