Location was nice and close to the local town. Having a resort like side with the nice dinning/breakfast area and pool which felt separated from the world. And then crossing under the road in their tunnel. You were treated to a calming relaxing area and the beautiful beach. Best of both worlds. Having a breach bar was nice too. The only downside was no coffee/tea in the mornings and having to ask to restock the fridge. Overall great place.

Very good, but not great!

The good:
- Restaurant staff was very nice and they provide a lot of small attentions
- Room was spacious, clean, well isolated
- Breakfast was good
- There was always enough seating available at the pool, relaxing area or beach
- Overall, the hotel is high quality

Things that can be improved:
- When I asked for recommendations, the front desk staff was always trying to sell me something. I asked for restaurants, all they could talk about was the one in the hotel. I asked for activities, and they started to try selling me a boat rental they provide. It's annoying to feel like all they want is to upsell you stuff when you're already paying a hefty price to stay there. In the end, I just stopped asking and relied on GMaps.
- There was some light coming inside the room at night, not ideal for sleeping.
- Swimming pool had some (very limited) green algae traces. It was still good quality but this doesn't seem like 4-star to me.
- The TV in the room can't be connected to anything which is too bad because it is a smart TV.
- Maybe add some decoration in the private tunnel which gives access to the beach ? It's a bit... strange.

Magical hotel

One of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in. The forest is so magical above the ocean. The beach is beyond gorgeous. I did yoga there every morning w my husband. Breakfast is a dream. Can't recommend it highly enough. The town is so sweet and local--Mastro Gelataria is a great for an after dinner treat. Marina is walkable--can rent your own boat or charter w a captain.

The resort was fantastic. It was clean, quiet, restful, and relaxing. The pine area was glorious, as was its cafe. The beach was quiet and had great water. Restaurant was way above what you'd expect from a hotel, and breakfast was very good.

Three beautiful nights on our honeymoon

I spent three nights at Lanthia with my wife on our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The breakfast bar is impressive and the staff are incredibly attentive. The pine wood is beautiful and the private beach is a touch of class. Looking forward to returning one day.

At times the vibes were a bit off, felt like the staff were going through something. It was a bit hit and miss. Lunch at the property’s private beach was AMAZING. Private beach was awesome. Breakfast was strange… we stayed a few days and there was no recognition that we returned, had to ask for sugar each time, often ran out of cups, plates, juice and bread. It was steamy, unusually hot weather happening but they only turned on fans the first breakfast (they were functional just not being used).
Room was a bit misleading, booked a suite pictured with long desk and the room we got had small tiny desk. Lacking counter space kind of odd layout. Overall, not sure if it’s worth the $, stayed at Cervo Hotel prior, same amount of days and same amount of $ and at Cervo the service was a lot better and the amenities etc.

Beautiful property with absolutely delightful beachside location. Delicious breakfast overlooking the sea, aperitivo under the pines along the beach, private beach access in a beautiful cove, cannot be faulted. Grounds are gorgeous. Room really left a lot to be desired for the price. Somewhat uninspired, hard bedding, loud creaky half-functional air conditioning, lack of ventilation/windows, no coffee making facility, etc. Dinner was very good and struck a nice balance between simple cooking with nice ingredients and more complex playful dishes that were well executed. Service friendly.

A truly wonderful resort. Highly recommended. We look forward to a stay there again in the future. Every aspect was superlative. We especially appreciated the quality of the rooms, the lovely garden setting, the food, and personal attention we received. We chose the Lanthia Resort to recharge from a long day of air travel as our first stop on our trip all around Sardinia. It was exactly what we hoped for and needed. Wish we had planned for a longer stay.

The Lanthia Resort is a high quality Boutique Hotel in lovely well maintained grounds with easy access to its own beach via a beautiful pine tree wooded area set aside for relaxation. The small town of Santa Maria Navarrese with its restaurants and marina is a five minute walk either through the street or the beach walkway which has small bars and cafes along its route.

The hotels own restaurant is of a very high standard with the menu changing daily and with produce sourced locally some of which are from the hotels own kitchen garden.

The staff are outstanding offering you polite friendly service and advice on local excursions and areas of interest.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a high quality relaxing holiday and look forward to returning in the future.

I loved how the property was laid out, the rooms were extremely comfortable and generously sized, the showers were great. The beach area was wonderful. It was also very centrally located but also away from the bustle of the town centre. The staff were responsive and helpful, and when there were issues with the internet, they took the trouble to mitigate the inconvenience

Aunque el Hotel tiene una playa agradable mi estadia no tuvo lo que se busca cuando un turista viaja a Italia, y mas aun a Cerdena.
En el Front Desk la gente estaba desorientada.
La habitacion que reserve era \"con vista al jardin\". El supuesto \"jardin\" era un espacio con tierra y una pared que estaba en el limite de la Propiedad. Personalmente me daba miedo y cuando lo hable con el \"Manager\" le explique que no era lo que habia reservado y me parecia poco segura ya que tenia articulos de valor y el me contesto que nunca habia pasado nada y que \"todos usan un reloj en italia\" y senalo su rolex. Fue una sistuacion tan bizarra que decidi darme vuelta, Esto habla del Servicio del Hotel. Una lastima mas para el Manager y su rolex que para mi

Great hotel, super peaceful and a great place to unwind. We had the pool to ourselves on the 4 days we were there.

The food is excellent although portions are small and it’s fairly pricey - about £20 for a 2inch square if seared tuna with no sides - the best tuna you’ll eat but that’s besides the point.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Lanthia Resort. Our goal was to relax, rest and rejuvenate. The hotel is stunning (pictures online do not do it justice), the staff is above and beyond friendly, efficient and attentive to details. The hotel is very quiet and comfortable, no children and no pets which was amazing and allowed us to completely relax without being disturbed. The private beach is great and we highly recommend having gazpacho for lunch at the restaurant under the pine trees. Andrea - the Manager - runs the place and leads the team flawlessly and was always around checking on guests and getting his hands dirty if needed. Alba and Christina are wonderful and always going above and beyond to make our stay the most pleasant and relaxing. I am a foodie and I eat very healthily and I am dairy free, Lanthia was accommodating and the food was just incredible! I have high standards but Lanthia exceeded my expectations and we left feeling completely relaxed and ready to jump back into our crazy lives in London. I usually do not go back to the same places but I already booked a room for 2018 :)

PS:The only negative comments I have are: there is no gym to workout for those who like to stay fit on vacation. I am allergic to smoke and was inconvenienced everywhere by smoking guests. Whether it was during meals, at the pool or on the beach. I wish management would limit smoking areas and not have ashtrays everywhere

Perfect East Coast Sardinian Retreat

The staff at Lanthia were truly incredible and made our 3 night stay absolutely wonderful. We ate dinner at the hotel twice, as the food was delicious and featured a mix of traditional and newer regional cuisine. The breakfast spread was awesome and was a great way to start the days. Walking distance to the downtown/port area of Santa Maria Navarrese, as well as a couple of fun beachfront restaurants (highly recommend Tancau). Our room was beautiful, clean, and had a wonderfully comfortable bed. The highlight of the room was the balcony which overlooked the grounds at the front of the hotel. The private beach was lovely and easy to get to. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Relaxing and peacefull stay!

Beautiful hotel, very well kept and with direct access to its private beach accessible via a short undeground tunnel connecting it to the beach and pinetrees area.
Delicius breakfast and dinner (we had one only but was great - even if not so cheap).
Staff is nice and helpfull - we booked a half day boat trip directly fron rhe hotel and it was sorted easily and quickly.
Definitely recommanded - indeed i have already done it and a friend of mine already booked :)

Disappointing first wedding anniversary stay.

Our suite was overlooked by neighbouring rooms with seating outside them all so there was a lack of privacy and it was noisy. I suggest the resort owners should try to spend three nights in our suite, without air conditioning been made available! Premium prices and no air con?! Our door was wide open day and night due to the heat and lack of air. The sickly green coloured blind was pulled across constantly as that was the only privacy we had available, which made the room unattractive to relax in. Second hand cigarette smoke was filtering into the room and neighbours were talking and coughing loudly outside the door whilst we tried to read, sleep and unwind on two rainy days! There is nothing on the restaurant menu for vegetarians and a suggested dish was served which was inedible due to lack of flavour and being undercooked. Not a romantic or peaceful stay at all. Out of the five establishments we stayed in during our trip to Sardinia this was the only disappointing one. Great staff, but disappointing accommodation for the price. Not what we envisaged at all.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Lanthia Resort. Das Hotel ist toll gelegen und bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten. Es hat einen tollen Pool, den wir häufig alleine genutzt haben, einen wunderschönen Pinienwald mit Blick aufs Meer und einen privaten Strandzugang. Überall sind genügend Liegen und Schirme vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker, es wird als Büfett gereicht, zusätzlich gibt es individuelle Eierspeisen und Schinken-, Käse- und Lachsteller. Leider hat der Service z. T. auf uns etwas überfordert gewirkt. Alles in allem ist es ein tolles Hotel mit einem wunderschönen Garten.

Unser Aufenthalt im Lanthia Resort war rundum wunderbar. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die grosszügige Pinenwald-Anlage, die eine herrliche Ruhe und natürliche Schönheit ausstrahlt. Schöner Strand ein Steinwurf vom Hotel entfernt.
Personal hat keine 5 Sterne erhalten, da die Bestellungen von zusätzlichen Speisen beim Frühstück manchmal etwas länger gedauert hat. Ansonsten ist das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine Dame an der Rezeption konnte bestes Deutsch, alle anderen gute Verständigung auf Englisch möglich.

Gutes Hotel mit privatem Strand

Das Hotel ist sehr hübsch gestaltet. Cooles Design im und ausserhalb des Hotels. Das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht alles richtig zu machen.
Beim Frühstück einige Verbesserungspunkte betreffend Verlässlichkeit. Es musste oftmals an die Bestellung erinnert werden. Ansonsten ganz okey mit dem Service beim Frühstück.

Unser Zimmer war aber sehr dunkel und hatte wenig Sonnenlicht, was uns sehr enttäuscht hatte. Im Zimmer könnte es sicherlich mehr Stauraum haben, da eine Reise von 6 oder mehreren Nächten einige Kleider benötigt :-).
Für ein DELUXE Zimmer eher klein und zu dunkel.
