The decor was interesting and unique. It seemed like an older building with new additions. It seemed clean but the musty smell hit you in the face when you walked in the room. The breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, waffles etc. Close to lots of restaurants and stores. We might stay here again.

This hotel was not ideal… it was a great price, but you get what you pay for. Smells of weed, incense, and other scents hit you as you walked down the hallway to your room. Room was humid and hot. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel had a strong odor, maybe a food odor.
The rooms were very clean. However, lights in the bathroom were poor. One light fixture with three bulbs in the bathroom and two of the bulbs were so dim. We took care of the odor with scented Lysol in our room. Beds slept good but sheets did not fit well. Minimal comforts in the room.

The staff was extremely welcoming. The hotel itself had a musty odor and just seemed run down. The alarm clock went off at midnight on a clock I had not touched. The chair was very stained. It was expensive because of the events for the weekend. At its normal price, I could have lived with the rough conditions but it seemed overpriced.

In a pinch, the hotel was adequate. However, it was not worth the elevated rate paid due to landing on an event weekend. The hotel is old and the attempts at renovated decor are odd and poorly executed. The breakfast is super basic. Housekeeping only comes every third day.

As someone who travels often, I appreciate a hotel that understands what travelers actually need. My stay at the Clarion Inn & Suites Tallahassee – Capitol was a pleasant surprise.

3️⃣ The Breakfast
A good morning starts with good options, and this breakfast did not disappoint. Fresh waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, and all the basics you need to start your day right. For travelers on the go, having a full breakfast included makes a big difference.

2️⃣ The Staff
The friendliness of the staff really stood out. Everyone was welcoming and willing to go the extra mile to help. That kind of hospitality always makes a stay feel more comfortable.

1️⃣ The Location
This was my favorite part. The hotel is very close to the interstate, which makes it perfect if you’re traveling through Tallahassee and need a convenient stop. You’re not driving deep into the city, so getting back on the road in the morning is quick and easy.

And I have to say—the hotel has a surprisingly swanky vibe. It’s stylish, comfortable, and definitely nicer than you might expect for a quick travel stop.

If you’re passing through Tallahassee and want a convenient, comfortable place to rest before getting back on the road, this is a great option.

The room was clean and comfortable besides the ripped desk chair. We had an issue after our first night however. We booked and paid for 2 nights quite clearly, but somehow they got us mixed up with another room. As we were waking up around 11 a.m. (we didn't get in until 3) they were knocking on our door telling us we were supposed to check it. We did get it straightened with the front desk, but housekeeping wasn't informed and still thought the room was supposed to be empty. We had an event that night and when we got back, our keys were deactivated. This was corrected as well, but it seems like too many issues to deal with when you are trying for a fun weekend getaway.

This hotel is very eclectic. The decor is very hodge podge and quite bright. The beds were mostly comfortable though sinking in a bit. The room was clean albeit there were stains on the carpet and drapes. You can definitely hear major road noise and certainly your neighbors. Some were guests were more respectful than others. The breakfast is fine and was nice to have - eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, cereal, waffles, coffee & juice. The shower pressure was phenomenal and the front desk staff very nice. Overall a decent stay, though I think it was a little overpriced.

Probably, the cutest, coolest most eclectic little hotel I've ever stayed at! The guy at the front desk was super nice. Only downside is the tub didn't drain and I thought there'd be a handheld shower head but all in all delightful!
clean and smelled good as soon as you walked in the door.

The hotel was cute but the beds were dipped and i honestly woke up hurting everyday. The shower was really weird too, it only had one glass panel that was stationary and didnt cover much of the shower, so obviously water was going to go everywhere.

The lady that checked me i was super rude to my kids whe they went downto get our dinner from doordash. She literally shushed them like they were her own children for no reason. There was no one else on the lobby so i dont know why she thoight she had the right to do that.

There were also little black ants in the breakfast area so i only got coffee. Which i was then told i couldn't take back to my room. For what i paid, i should be able to drink my coffee in my room.

The walls are very thin and someone at least 5 doors down was having a GREAT tine if you catch my drift. The whole floor got to hear, whether they wanted to or not.

Breakfast was only a few simple items. Scrambled eggs, cereal, waffles, bananas, bread for toasting. Juice and coffee. I was pleased with the price and therefore found myself ok with the breakfast items. Room have refrigerator and microwave.

Booked this room for my mom to attend a last minute conference. She called me this morning telling me that the room was disgusting and the staff were very rude when she complained. Per her the sheets had what appeared to be blood on them and the comforters were dirty. The toilet also backed up. When she brought these issues to the front desks attention she was handed sheets and expected to strip the bed herself. Extremely disappointed in the treatment my mother received at this facility.

I know most hotels have some mold, but this was next level bad. I travel nonstop for work and I am constantly in hotels a lot of which aren't the best, but I will say this one is up there with worst. Ended up leaving the hotel early to stay someplace else. Not worth saving a few bucks.

Our first room was on the 2nd fl above the lobby doors and next to elevator - you can hear the lobby doors open throughout the night. We switched rooms and had somewhat of a lady bug infestation better than any other bug. Stood her last year and I’m not sure if new management took over but this place had lots of noise bw midnight and 6am. Ppl loitering in the hallway, slamming doors and thumping music during all hours of the night. It is also not as clean as last year. First bathroom had hair and a used bar of soap and a soaked rug from shower water runoff. The elevator, areas in front of elevators and lobby area looks like they haven’t been mopped in months. Don’t even get me started on the “breakfast”. 1st morning white bread (no bagels no muffins) waffles, one kind of yogurt and only bananas as the fruit, cereal. Missed 2nd day bc it ends at 9am (most places end at 10am.) today all the above and scrambled eggs and the other platter, assuming it was sausage, was empty and it was only 8:15am and again only white bread! Will not be staying here again. The art deco is very cool and is unique and funky just wish it didn’t go downhill.

The lady at the front desk was amazing - wonderful person. My experience of the hotel was as someone with high sensory sensitivities. The carpet felt and looked dirty. The air in the room smelled musty and stale. The mattress was way too soft and hot. The polyester bedding was hot. I could hear TVs and people snoring. My room was like a hot, smelly, loud, and dirty box. Literally hell for someone like me. On a positive note, the shower was nice. That's my experience. I had to leave at 11:30 p.m. and go sleep in my car.
