This hotel does not speak English, they would just hang up your call. Booked a refundable stay, but they don’t honor the policy and provide refund. Stay away from this hotel, book elsewhere!

The staff is very very helpful and accommodating. We arrived early and they didn’t even hesitate to let us check in early so after a long trip it was most welcome and kind. The restaurant on the property is very good with very reasonable prices. They had local food and some western options. The pool was clean and relaxing. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The drive from the airport is quick and simple.

A night in Iquitos

Our airport shuttle did not have a sign, so that didn't work out for us; however, when we arrived via taxi at the hotel, we were welcomed and were pleased overall. The bar stayed open until 11:00 so we enjoyed a drink. Our room was fine although the wifi didn't work at all there. Oh, and I wish there hadn't been a dead roach in the bathtub. A breakfast buffet was included. The hotel is going through some renovations according to a sign by the indoor pool.

Decent value for the price. Good restaurant (cheaper and better quality than the higher priced Hilton). Street noise in our room was high so best to request a room not facing the road. The pool is tiny (the photos make it look a lot bigger!). Overall, for the price this is good value.

Great hotel in Iquitos! I would recommend staying here - decent value for the money. Staff was very nice and helpful, and room was also quite nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious with eggs, fruits and many other offerings. Pool inside is actually pretty nice. The room had airconditioning which was great. Convenient location a few blocks from downtown and a few blocks from Belen.

This hotel is run down and old. No hot water in the shower, steely hard bed with sheets so thin you can see mattress stains. Not appealing at all. TV didn't work for most channels. Breakfast is good and desk staff are very friendly and nice. The room they gave me first had a terrible smell but they did change it when I asked.

Overall the place is nice. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable. It is however being renovated which made an afternoon nap near impossible. It also would have been nice to be able to smoke by the poolside since it's in an open air venue. Instead you're forced to go outside where there are a lot of hard case stories to listen to by taxi drivers. Please he careful to not buy into the hardships. Most of the guys doing it are wearing brand new clothes and shoes.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the free breakfast was very good. My only complaints are that the cable only has two channels in English and no English news channels. The other issue was the bed. It was rock hard and that was a problem with a bad hip and two back surgeries.

This is a well run property with standards of service well above what you normally expect in a city like Iquitos. The restaurant is convenient and has a good menu with good food at reasonable prices. There was only one minor glitch: at checkout, the clerk wanted to run my credit card before she presented me with the final bill. The usual practice is to give the guest an opportunity to review the bill prior to payment to detect any errors. Hopefully, management will correct this practice. The hotel is well located downtown, a block from the Amazon River. You might want to request a room at the rear of the hotel because the street in front is quite noisy.

Walking distance to market. Lift was boarded up saying it was being fixed but didn't see a fix it man. Had 4 floors so a big problem if you are on the 4th floor. Right next to road and the road noise kept me awake all night. I wouldn't stay here again

We arrived to find not such a bad exterior or check-in, but the room was a shocker. Of course, this is in Iquitos, so we were prepared for less than lovely, but plastic lawn chairs in the room--no. The bathroom was fine and more modern than the bedroom. The beds were OK as long as you were asleep. The staff was lovely and very helpful. There are limited hotels in Iquitos and I am sure this wasn't the worst. The town is not a tourist destination except to jump on a boat for an Amazon tour. If you are planning to just stay overnight and need a place to sleep, this would we acceptable.
