Fantastic hotel ! Clean , modern and spacious. Helpful staff. Breakfast included - good selection of items. The restaurant for dinner was great and offered 20% discount for hotel guests. Helpful staff. Safe area. The water is right across the street. You can step outside and see the whales playing. Located next to a great restaurant - cantina nautico and also a wonderful bakery. Easy walk to explore the town. I can't recommend them enough.

Everything wonderful except the AC

Stayed in Ocean view room 3nts on the 9th fl. View was excellent. Any floor lower, the views would've been slightly obstructed. Hotel centrally and conveniently located. The only thing was the AC - No access in the room, anything (change of temp or On/Off) had to be thru the Reception.

Breakfast was very nice - lots of tasty options, the beach was right out the front door and lots of restaurants to choose from. The ocean view from our large windows and walk out balcony was wonderful. The high winds on the first night made a constant whistling sound through the balcony door and the hotel employee offered to tape the door shut. Instead we chose to open the door because the temperature was lovely and that stopped the noise. He said all the rooms on ocean side had that same problem. Beds were very comfortable and the water pressure was great. Parking in the basement garage was very tight but safe. Since it was the off season there was plenty of street parking also but in high season those few garage spots would be coveted - we called in advance to ensure one was saved for us. I would stay here again.

I did not like that I had to wait until 8pm to order, but the food came quickly and was delicious. Also, the website says that certain food and drinks were available all day, and they were not.

Great location on the sea front and a nice modern hotel with great staff and food. Only downside is the difficulty parking as the sea front is a popular location for visitors. We were lucky on most occasions but had to park a few hundred metres away from the hotel once. Breakfasts were only average.

a base to stay but with zero glamour

There are very few places to stay in Puerto Madryn and this is supposed to be one of the best which is why we booked it. It is functional but that’s about it, the bed is quite hard but the room is big and pretty clean. It’s a decent base to stay but you wouldn’t want to spend any real time in your room. It’s along a travel lodge level of hotel. Staff are fine but unfriendly and we got zero interaction (even at breakfast) other than at check in where they watched us struggle up the stairs with our bags. Breakfast is the same as everywhere else. Scrambled eggs with bread and a small continental selection.

Great room overlooking the ocean. Very large with a huge bed and a modern bathroom with a great shower. The staff on reception were helpful but had limited English but between us we got there! The breakfast was so-so but pretty chaotic with not enough space for guests and often no crockery. The reception staff arranged our transfers from and to Trelew airport too which was much appreciated. The hotel is in a great location too within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and bars many of which sell a wide range of craft beers and have very good happy hour prices! We would stay here again next time.

We liked The Dazzler. The best part was the location -- assuming you obtain an Ocean View. The room was very big - we liked it. Clean. Staff was fine - efficient. Breakfast was not much - kind of a Hampton Inn breakfast. We parked in the garage -- which was tiny, but a great rate. The location was very good.

My husband and I stayed only one night before catching a flight, at the end of a 3 day visit to the Peninsula. The hotel was comfortable....close to a number of restaurants and shops.....right across the street from a beautiful beach. We parked in the underground hotel parking....quite tight even for a compact car......I’m not sure of the cost, we received it as the upgrade in our Expedia Gold rate. Not sure if check-out time has recently changed as our Expedia booking indicated 11am, but the hotel advised it was 10am.

Not 4-stars, it disappointed me

I booked ocean view room, but I can see the sea in half from my room only, another half is blocked by a building. I requested to change but the staff said not available (I’ve seen not many people during breakfast time). Also there is a playground between the hotel and the beach. You won’t enjoy the sea view moment when you standing aside of the windows. AC not cool enough and no control in room. Breakfast is just normal. I paid 160 USD per day and I would expect more.

We could not move your luggage without help from the staff (who should be encouraged).

We had a serious disturbances began after midnight when he began to hiss because of strong wind that penetrated through the window is not sealed. It was difficult at that time to ask for help from staff who apparently knew about the window that is not sealed (we saw a torn tape around the window).
Next time I'll look for another hotel.

Modern tower hotel

Something of a mixed bag. Large and comfortable room, but I asked for a quiet one and was given a room overlooking a main road. No double glazing so traffic noise was excessive. Had we been put on a higher floor it might have been better. Breakfast was adequate - the only fruit was in a bowl and I had to make a plate of assorted fruit myself - generally disorganised. Car parking is expensive - I'd expected it to be free considering the price of the room.

The rooms were clean and had a beautiful view of the ocean and the whales. This is what we paid for. There were three issues, though, which left us underwhelmed by this "luxury" hotel. The rooms were exceedingly hot with no controls to allow for temperature adjustment. In addition, our shower head was defective and showered the room even after my husband tightened it. Finally, we had an early morning flight from Trelew and though I can understand the breakfast not being available, we were disappointed to not even be able to get a cup of coffee to go.

I had a dental emergency and he was nice enough to call the dentist and arrange an appointment - on a Sunday! Really appreciate all the staff from the wonderful room service to the doorman rushing to open the door each time we entered/exited.

This is a nice place with excellent location and quality rooms. The staff was very helpful, and was able to communicate well in English. The breakfast was just okay and the rooms do not have individual thermostats. But, overall it was a great place and worked well for our stay in Puerto Madryn. Travel note: there is no reason to stay in Puerto Madryn longer then three nights. One day to see the penguins at Punta Tomba and one day to see the whales and seals on Peninsula Valdez is all you need or want.

Pretty good!

The location of this hotel is perfect--close to the water and in a fairly central location to shops/places to eat. I would give it a 4/5 starts because it didn't have a very filling breakfast (just pastries and bread) and the wifi was very poor (important for me because I was trying to do school work). The staff is very helpful in suggesting places to eat, booking tours with local agencies, and scheduling rides to/from the Trelew airport. I would recommend staying here, too, because of the ambiance of the hotel and overall cleanliness and comfort.

What a View

Waking up in the morning, opening the curtains and watching whales swimming and playing from the comfort of our bed... literally unbelievable. The hotel was in brilliant condition and the service was excellent. Our only downside of the stay was room temperature, which was way too hot and night which made it difficult to sleep, a controllable room air con would make the rooms so much better! Also the hot tub and sauna weren't open while we were there, the experience would have been so much better had they been.

The hotel markets to dazzle you and then don't provide. We walked into a stuffy room on a warm evening. When we called the desk they came up to check the room and showed us how to open the windows for air...the air conditioning is controlled by the staff and was on for the first few minutes after the staff left our room and not again for the next 3 day/nights. Also, the wind kept closing our windows and the hotel did not provide fans.

La estadía no estuvo mal, pero esperaba mucho mas por un 4 estrellas.
La entrada del hotel tiene una escalera muy empinada, se hace difícil subir con la maleta (tiene una rampa muy pronunciada de costado, que no es útil para utilizarla para alivianar el peso de la maleta)
La pared estaba algo descascarada (fotos adjuntas).
El personal en general muy amable.
El aire acondicionado no lo podes regular desde la habitación, tenes que llamar a recepción para que te ajusten la temperatura, algo muy incómodo.
Me pareció muy caro por los servicios que ofrecen.
Pero la estadía estuvo bien.

La habitacion con vista al mar es inmejorable.
El desayuno está bien (el café no era de mi agrado en particular) pero en términos generales para época de pandemia estaba bien.
Reserve a través de Hotels.com. y una de las ventajas era estacionamiento gratis incluido, cosa que no cumplieron. Tuvimos que dejar el auto en la calle.
El gimnasio básico, le falta mantenimiento.

La habitación para 2 es cómoda. El baño está bien, sin bañera solo ducha.

El hotel es hermoso, comodo y muy bien ubicado. Lo unico que no me gusto es el desayuno ya que no hay tanta variedad de cosas para comer y te lo sirve una moza ubiese preferido que haya una mesa y yo servirme. Otra cosa es el estacionamiento me dijeron que no habia lugar y tuve que dejar el auto en la calle. Despues todo muy lindo las habitaciones, el spa, la limpieza .
