Es un hotel para familia, donde los padres priorizan más las actividades para los niños que la calidad de las habitaciones.

En términos generales, está OK, pero no acorde al precio por noche. Las áreas comunes no están limpias, la piscina principal tiene moho en las orillas, el mantenimiento general necesita mejorar. Definitivamente es una opción para familias, pero nosotros no volveríamos.

We have stayed here several times, this one was the last one, not coming back. VERY bad service, the room was not even ready, poorly maintained, none of our requests were taken into account, we were charged so much more than our reservation. Price-quality is a joke. There were unwarned construction going on, no even table lamps on the room, no spa access, all the common areas are closed ridiculously early and so on…very far from what it used to be. I do not recommend this place anymore, stay somewhere else where the customers matter.

La habitación, preciosa. El hotel y los alrededores lindos.
La señalización interna para ir de un lado a otro, es escasa sí, y confusa.
Fui con mi mamá de 89 años, la piscina interior es chica, el alrededor de la misma también. Mi mamá camina sin problemas, pero la Piscina no es accesible para gente grande y sin ayuda, no hubiera podido entrar.
Nosotras intentamos cenar a las siete de la tarde, en ese horario sólo es posible hacerlo en el Bar, el mismo tenía la música, como si fuera un crucero malo del Caribe, y un televisor enorme, sacando una luz que lastimaba. En un sitio familiar es ese lugar está demás y no condice con el resto.
Por suerte, quienes trabajan, son muy amables, y a pesar de qué estaban preparando el restaurant nos dejaron cenar allí

It’s a place for kids.

I planned a one-night, romantic getaway with my wife, but Sofitel had other plans.

First, this is supposed to be a 4 star resort, yet nobody greeted or open the door to welcome us.

Upon check in, I asked about a restaurant for a romantic dinner. The front desk strongly suggested the hotel’s.

After we checked in, they let us know our room was not ready yet and would be a few minutes. I thought that meant they were preparing it for our stay.

45 minutes later, we were given our room.

Inside, it was hot - over 28 degrees. Immediately, I turned on the air conditioning to cool it down. The room was also a bit dirty. Clearly, not up to standards.

After a half hour, the room had not cooled down, so we called the front desk. They told us to wait 20 minutes more and call back.

We left and came back an hour later… still hot. We contacted the front desk again and they sent maintenance up to fix it. Which they somewhat did. It worked, but not well.

A few hours later, we went down for our romantic dinner.

The restaurant was brightly lit and there were children at every table. Plus, it was a buffet with a choice of four dishes.

The cost of dinner was right about what I planed to spend for a nice, romantic dinner. Not for a buffet surrounded by kids running around.

The dinner could not have been less romantic and we could not have been more misled.

That night, the room was warm and stuffy and neither of us slept well.

La primera vez que fui y es un lujo!! Bowling, ping pong, pool y mas juegos todo incluido con la estadia, mas actividades acuaticas, la comida un 10 muy buenos chef, el staff siempre atento nos trataron como reyes y me reconocieron el estado VIP de expedia entonces tuve una botella de Sparkling White Wine gratis. Volveria sin dudas

Many area need new paint. Half the whirlpools didn’t work in spa area. This place needs new management asap. The overall experience felt like the management didn’t care and don’t understand the industry.

When I arrived and the room key did not work as well as the balcony door, it was broken.
I was forced to pay taxes upon arrival which was not clear at the moment of the reservation, incurring in an extra cost not planned. Lastly, on the 18th my plan was to stay all day in the facility after check out, but I was advised that same day that due to a private event all facilities were closed. If I knew beforehand I wouldn’t have chosen this hotel, I lost a whole vacation day

Está muy venido abajo. El servicio es malo, fuimos con tres parejas un jueves y no tienen nadie que atienda en el Pool bar, ni siquiera alguien que atienda en el área piscina. Si querías un trago había que ir al restaurant muy incómodo. Se cortó la luz. Cenamos en el restaurant y el servicio era malo y la comida no era rica, y encima carísimo. No vale lo que cobran.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. The price-quality ratio is excellent, offering great value. However, I was a bit disappointed with the maintenance of the facilities. It was quite evident that the property hasn’t received the necessary upkeep, and the wear and tear over time was noticeable. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, thanks to the outstanding service.

I appreciate the helpful efforts of Matias and Antonella from the staff. However, I faced several issues during my stay, including a lack of privacy due to the bathroom window without a curtain. The non-functional air conditioning, absence of mirrors outside the bathroom, and an inconvenient room change to a lower-class triple room were disappointing. Additionally, the persistent key card problems further impacted my experience. Considering these issues, I found the hotel not worthy of its price and would not recommend it.

Not worth the price

Very disappointed with a hotel that charges 500 USD the night. The beds are awfully soft and left me and my wife with back pain. The big pool is ice cold, even though the city had been in 30+ Celsius for several weeks (I heard from a friend it’s always like this). The facilities in general are worn out and need maintenance ASAP (the pool that has mosaic tiles had an impressive amount of tiles missing). Also, there should be small tables by the lounges in the pool to put stuff or even food or drinks and there is none. The room which is huge had a small tv proportionally to the wall. The stuff is friendly, but there is a lack of training and corporate treatment. They all seem to be doing things differently without a corporate homogeneous, uniform way of acting with guests. The kayak experience is lame, as they only let you paddle for about 150m, because the rest of the lagoon is restricted. There’s a general sense of poor service, I.e. the bathroom near the pool had no soap. And they charge you in USD, and convert it to pesos at their own rate, which ends up being more expensive than anyone can plan. It should be the other way around. Again, very dissatisfied.

We reserved a suite for three people, myself and my two daughters. When we arrived to the suite there was one king size bed only. No bed was added since we arrived after midnight.
At 8:00 in the morning one of my daughters called the front desk to ask if she could take a kayak on the river. She was told yes.
After she return from kayaking, the lifeguard as well as two other employees confronted her with a very negative attitude claiming that kayaking and canoing started only at 10:30AM.
The fact is that nobody even apologized for their own miscommunication, but blamed the guest for their own wrongdoing.

El hotel está bien en cuanto lugar físico, está rodeado de naturaleza con lo cual lo hace atractivo. En cuanto a la habitación tenía detalles que un hotel de la categoría no debería tener. El Deck de la terraza estaba en muy mal estado. Había detalles en el baño que deberían ser reparados, como el lavatorio que perdía por debajo y humedad en las paredes. En cuanto a la comodidad de la cama, parecía que el colchón llevaba bastantes años sin cambiarse. En conclusión a la habitación le falta mantenimiento. El wifi es pésimo muy lento y conectaba de a ratos. El personal es amable y atento. De hecho te consultaban por teléfono si se necesitaba algo. La limpieza estaba bien. El desayuno que está incluido, está muy bueno, toda la comida que te ofrecen es muy rica y está muy bien presentada, lo que no es bueno es el café que te sirven. El resto de las bebidas e infusiones muy buenas, los jugos estaban excelentes. El gimnasio muy completo y buenas máquinas. Las piletas están bárbaras, tanto la de agua caliente como la de agua fría. Otra cosa que me gustó mucho es la sala de juegos con un excelente bowling, mesas de Pool y Metegol. La parte recreativa del hotel es muy buena. Entonces el hotel está bien para pasar un fin de semana, pero a mejorar el mantenimiento de las habitaciones y pulir algunos detalles que hacen a la categoría del hotel.

Todo estuvo muy bien hasta que llego el momento del pago ya que Expedia me informo un precio final por noche (de usd193) final $386 pero cuando fui a pagar desde el hotel me dicen que falta el iva cuando el precio era final en ningun lado decia mas impuestos excepto en la letra bien pero bien chiquita, me sentí engañada!!! ES UN ENGAÑO AL CLIENTE!!! Deberían poner en el precio final mas iva. La estadia que estuve bien despues te quitan las ganas de volver. De hecho si resevaba por el hotel cuando llame al final terminaba saliendo mas barato.

El checking era a las 3:00 de la tarde y nos dieron la habitación 5:30. La reserva era para seis personas y nos querían dar una habitación para cuatro y cobrar el desayuno Aparte. El personal de recepción muy mal predispuesto y faltando mucho respeto haciendo caras y gestos desafortunados. Inconcebible de pensar que tengamos una habitación con dos camas cuando éramos tres así todo no lo entendían y jamás estuvieron dispuestos a solucionar la situación aún así cuando le dije que uno iba a dormir en el piso. Que hicimos hablar con el manager y nos dijeron que no estaba cuando sí.

Quiero agradecer al hotel por la excelente atención y el servicio impecable. Desde el primer momento, todo el personal fue muy amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar en lo que necesitáramos. La recepción nos recibió con una sonrisa y gran predisposición, y cada persona, desde los mozos hasta quienes trabajan en las distintas áreas, demostraron una calidad humana admirable. Se nota que trabajan con dedicación y cariño, haciendo que la estadía sea cómoda y agradable. ¡Un placer haberme hospedado aquí, sin dudas lo recomiendo !

El entorno es muy bonito, no obstante creo que le falta mantenimiento (perdió el esplendor de años atrás).
La habitación no tenía amenities (sólo dejan toallas y jabón) y si necesitas algo extra hay que pedirlo aparte. Al manipular la ducha se salía el grifo, estaba vencido.
Si bien el exterior es muy bonito, está limitado para hacer actividades aeróbicas porque cerraron el barrio, por ende queda muy acotado.
Por último el desayuno es variado y bueno pero faltaba personal en hora pico y había una fila de más de 40 personas esperando porque las mesas vacías no estaban listas. El recepcionista se ocupaba de recibir a la gente y limpiar las mesas al mismo tiempo.

lugar increible, pero entrás y te manejas solo.
Frigobar vacío. De baño solo jabón y shampoo y c. enjuague. Me ubicaron a 400 metros de la recepción. En 1er piso..... con ascensor descompuesto, acceso por escalera de servicio ( con esa tarifa algo ilógico). Cené en La Butaca, comida de restaurant estándar, a precios de 5 estrellas.
Me gustó conocer el lugar, pero a esas tarifas está muy por debajo de sus competidores ( o muy caro).

La habitación muy grande con buen baño, cama enorme y cómoda. Pileta exterior necesita mayor limpieza y cuidado. El hotel hermoso pero le falta mantenimiento. Esperábamos más de una propiedad Sofitel: bastante deficiente en la oferta gastronómica: había sólo un restaurant disponible y la calidad de la comida y de los tragos muy mala y cara. Lo mismo para la comida del Room Service. La alternativa es ir a un restaurant italiano cerca de la propiedad que tampoco es bueno. Lo único bueno en lo gastronómico era la calidad de los panificados. Por todos lados hay detalles de mantenimiento y limpieza algo deficientes en la propiedad. Es bastante malo e inestable el Wifi. En lo positivo: muy cómoda la habitación, la cama, el baño. Nos tocó un lindísimo balcón con vista al lago. Lamentablemente todos los canales de la TV estaban traducidos al español y no estaba programado para elegir idioma original y el staff no nos pudo ayudar con esto. El staff en general fue muy agradable, muy atento y servicial. Nos hicieron unos masajes excelentes en el spa y muy linda la experiencia del remo en piragua por el lago.

Faltó servicio de todo tipo dada la categoría y costo del hotel.
El servicio de limpieza golpeo la puerta de nuestra habitación 9am para ver si la podían limpiar, nunca nos pasó esto... que nos despertaran para limpiar.
El balcón de la habitación estaba muy sucio, los sillones rotos y falto de decoración.

Los cuartos son muy comodos amplios y de excelente diseño. La comida y el servicio de restaurant es mas bien malo.
Hay una trampa al final de la estadia que consiste en agregar el IVA adicional cuando en la reserva dice explicitamente que los impuestos estan incluidos en el precio pactado.

El hotel tiene instalaciones cerradas. Es demasiado caro los servicios que prestan . El restaurante es carísimo , con poca variedad de platos .

Precio-calidad irracional

En general, todo estuvo bien, salvo por la parte en que nadie me informó que durante la semana no había desayuno Buffet y la pobre oferta gastronómica. En cuanto a precio-calidad es demasiado caro.

Hermoso lugar, el servicio podría mejorar

El lugar es precioso y las instalaciones son muy buenas. Recién habían reabierto luego del cierre por la cuarentena y se notaba en el servicio: lentitud y olvido en los pedidos, interrupciones en la habitación (aún con cartel de no molestar) para entregar presentes, etc

Decepcionante y aviso engañoso

Fui huésped del Sofitel junto con mi marido (cuarto 116). Ingresamos el Viernes 9 de Abril de este año por la tarde. Tuve una muy mala experiencia que no condice con el nivel del Hotel. Me quedé muy indignada ya que el precio que sale es alto y el servicio fue muy bajo.
(Arañas en el baño, el personal no informado de los horarios del spa/actividad), personal de limpieza que me despertó muy temprano por hablar fuerte largo rato en el pasillo, entre otras cosas.
LO MAS PREOCUPANTE DE TODO ES LA PAGINA DE UDS CON LA QUE HICE LA RESERVA DE ESTE HOTEL. ES MUY ENGAÑOSA. NO ES NADA CLARA. TE DA UN PRECIO (CON TODOS LOS CARGOS E IMPUESTOS INCLUIDOS) Y LE PRECIO FINAL FUE TOTALMENTE OTRO. ESTOY INDIGNADA Y QUIERO QUE ME LLAMEN

Muy agradable la estadía pero no pudimos disfrutar el spa ya que no había turnos disponibles, una lastima que no tengan en cuenta las reservas que tienen y al estar el circuito hídrico cerrado x protocolos. deberían prestar mejor servicio de spa.

Respecto al restaurant creo que hace falta hacer una carta un poco mas variada

Mal muy mal la administración. El resto bien.

No me emitieron Factura A que necesitaba para el reintegro de los gastos por la empresa. Argumentaron que sólo podrían emitirme factura sobre el Iva del total del hospedaje descepcionante que un hotel 5 estrellas den vueltas y nieguen una factura por los servicios. Me quisieron cobrar servicios que no habíamos consumido, que de no prestar atención pasaban.

Hermoso . Hay mucho por mejorar y es caro

La limpieza es muy buena. La infraestructura del hotel es preciosa, impresionante. La comunicación falla. Las tarjetas para ingresar a la habitación no funcionaban, las magnetizaron y tampoco. El frigobar no enfriaba nada. A las 19hs lo informé. A las 21:30 lo cambiaron y me trajeron hielo. No funcionó jamás el nuevo tampoco. No había cerveza para cenar ni tirada ni en lata. Tampoco mate listo. Es hermosísimo, pero falta mucho para equiparar precio-servicio
