Only stayed for one night, but based on this we found the accommodation spacious, great size balcony and kitchen for cooking. If staying in winter unlikely to get sun on the balcony. Good facilities including small shower gel, hair dryer and washing up liquid. Comfy beds.

Have been to Playa Del Ingles a number of times and this is definitely the best hotel for the price. Excellent location, supermarket over the road, 10 mins from Yumbo centre, 5 minute walk to the beach and lots of food and drink options next to Playa Del Ingles.
Hotel itself is clean, staff are friendly and helpful, internet is included (up to 3 devices simultaneously) and accessible from the room with good speeds, hotel pool is nice and has space for 10-15 people to sunbathe. I’d happily go again and recommend it to anyone that will listen!

I love staying at this property, it’s always a pleasure still after many years. The staff are lovely and whether you just want a chat or total privacy your needs are catered for, housekeepers are first class and very helpful. This is a little bolt away place for me for that quick burst of sun in the winter or that last minute getaway. Definitely will be back as soon as I can, great work guys.

Staff were excellent and did everything they possibly could. Hotel is in a fairly poor state and we were told it was closing in April for a total refurbishment. Once that's done I would go back. It's in a great location and close to all amenities.

The patio doors and some of the towels need replacing, they could also do with a few more kitchen utensils but overall it is excellent value. The place is kept spotless by the cleaning staff and the reception staff will sort out any issues that might arise efficiently and professionally. I have already booked my next stay!

The reception is pretty unhelpful. There is no option to leave your key at reception, which is an old school key and not ideal if you are going out of an evening wearing shorts.

If you enjoy a decent sized pool, this is not the place for you!

Good wifi, super-close to the beach and big balcony are the plus points.

Booked room for 2 nights didn't stay even one night checked to different hotel.
Room I had was different than a pictures
Shower with curtains not a door. Kitchen old. Beds very uncomfortable. Room was very noisy old windows next to busy road. Curtains in the room not hand properly. Didn't want to ruin my extended holiday so I didn't stay in the hotel. Hope others rooms are in better condition.

Major annoyance was them taking payment from my Amex instead of waiting until I arrived. I had already transferred money to a Euro card to pay and now am saddles with a large bill on my amex.
Apartment was reasonable for the price, good size; good amount of storage space. Decent shower, apart from the shower curtain. bidet was a nice touch.
Living area was good size. Reasonably stocked kitchen. Had to have the toaster changed as the one there was not working.
Good size balcony.
Bed wasn't the most comfortable, bedroom door didn't close as there was no latch to it.
Main issue though was the noise from outside. Apartment overlooked a main road to the beach. No sound proofing to the window areas so noise from cars, delivery vans and raucous people late at night could be heard.
Location is ok depending on where you want to go. Short walk down to the promenade and beach, slightly further uphill to the Yumbo and a stair climb to get to the La Sandia or Cita centres without a long roundabout walk.

Bathroom and apartment standard was different form the photos.

The bathroom in the apartment I was given was very dated and did not have a solid enclosed shower, and only had a shower curtain. The general asthetics were not the best either with paint peeling from the walls.

We visit Playa del Ingles regularly and have stayed here on at least two occasions. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and it always has a lovely family run business feel about it. The accommodation is basic but I always find it to be sufficient, if you're not after luxury. Nice welcome pack of wine, water and a washing-up pack. The hotel itself I have never found to be too noisy.
Unfortunately, the noise outside the apartment woke me far too often, this time we were in a room with old louver windows, some have upvc double glazing, and heard everything! The road surface outside is terrible, block paved and moves and vibrates with every passing vehicle, the noise is sufficient to wake you. Cars parked at the front with their doors open, blaring out music one night. I even bought ear plugs. I do like this apartment, cheap and well placed but the poor sleep this time around may mean that I do not stay here again.

The staff were amazing but my room was in serious need of an upgrade with peeling wallpaper and paint, the bedsprings poking through the bed into my back (once i mentioned this the staff got me a mattress topper) no blackout curtains as described, i did hear from another guest on another floor that their apartment was in actual fact quite nice so perhaps they just havent gotten around to redoing the one i stayed it which was incredibly poor. If you are looking for sunlight on your balcony this hotel is facing the wrong direction and gets NO sunlight whatsoever from sun up to sundown so you will have to go upto the pool on the 5th floor to sunbathe. the location is great, close to Yumbo Centre and beach which is wonderful. Again i cant stress enough how good the staff here are, nothing is too much trouble for them once you make it know.

All the apartments are well equiped, clean and the beds are comfortable.
The staff are very helpful and there is security on the building so you feel safe. It is 5 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the Yumbo shopping centre. Excellent location.
I have stayed here at least 6 times and wouldn't go anywhere else for a Self Catering Apartment.

This fabulous property is no more than 200 metres from the beach and has bars, restaurants and supermarkets very close by, including the pretty decent, well stocked supermarket across the road from the hotel.
The property itself felt like a home away from home with a well stocked kitchen, living room with a decent sized TV and comfortable beds. There's no air con sadly but being on the ground floor and in the shade, we never really needed it. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and a bottle of water, as well as being able to check in when we arrived at 11am. Overall, my wife and I felt this was a cracking location and great value, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. There's been a few reviews mentioning noise from the street but this wasn't a massive issue when we went in October and weren't really troubled by noise from neighbours or the road at all.

Great location close to Yumbo & Playa Del Ingles. Friendly team in reception and night guard. Clean apartment with fully furnished kitchen. Really liked the small attentions like wine & water on arrival. Medium size pool but warm and peaceful. Friendly cleaning team too. Beds were ok. Only negative was the noise all day and night as on a main street leading to Playa Del Ingles. But overall I would happily return there.

Negative feedback first:
The facilities is not nice at all the swimming pool was very tiny only 5 sun beds next to the tiny pool, but with tons of sun beds on the other empty side, it doesn’t make sense.... don’t ever trust the photo on the website, doors and windows should have double glazing, otherwise please provide ear plugs too as it’s very noisy right next to road can hear the traffic, also the safe they provide it’s super old version and you have to rent a keys for that, there’s no gym, the bed is very squeaky, kitchen equipments is dated

The beach apartment look nice from the outside but not the inside, the front desk staff was very polite and helpful, the room is big and clean, free bottle of red wine. Really hope they improve their standards, wouldn’t mind to pay extra little money.

Great location. The kitchen was suitably equipped but if you try and use more than one appliance, the fuse box would blow. The bathroom was large, good pressure in the shower and always plenty of hot water but very limited storage space. The beds took a bit of getting used to - very soft mattress and a standard single.
The patio doors did not close completely which meant there was a constant draft (it was chilly at night) but there was no noise from the road.
The reception staff were very helpful.

Service was so friendly, so helpful and so supportive.

Flats are big, and very very good value for the price. Clean and well located so close to the beach and yumbo centre.

Flats are quite basic but then they have everything you need. The shower did flood a lot and the internet only worked on the balcony and a little in the living room. If those facilities could be upgraded would be even better.

Pool was very peaceful and big enough for the amount of guests.

Useful Landry room and showers/toilets for pool.

I will DEFINTELY be staying again!

Aside from a very sliw checkin as our room wasn't ready for ages, there is little to complain about. Place was clean and tidy although a bit run down on the sundeck. The room had everything we needed, although towels changed more frequently would have been nice. Supermarket right over the road, beach a 5 minutes walk, lovely clean location and at 3am, walking to the bus station for our bus to airport, i felt safer than i would in broad daylight in manchester. I wasnt expecting much for my money but i was quite surprised with what we got. Thanks

The hotel does not appear to have had much work done for a number of years.

The mattresses are far too hard, like sleeping on a board.

Patio doors to balcony do not fit well so a considerable draft coming through them. Outside road is block paving and constant, loud road noise from any traffic due to the road surface. Traffic starts very early in the morning so if you want any hope of a lie in earplugs are essential.

Kitchen was really poorly equipped with plug sockets, only 1. When you want to plug in coffee maker / kettle / toaster the only place to plug it in meant you had to sit the appliance on the hotplate.

Nice venue and great location but TBA has a ..

TBA is well located close to the beach and is a nice looking building, however there's some noise coming to the apartment's bedroom coming from the road. Also, in December, it could be quite cold at night as the temperature in Playa del Ingles drops quite a lot. There's no heating within the building apartments and no proper duvets because the location seems to enjoy warm weather in summer season and the mostly spring and autumn. The swimming pool is quite small and due to tall building behind doesn't have sun coming in. That's very unfortunate indeed.

I got this hotel last minute the price was very good, the fixtures in the room were old and worn but very clean so for a few days excellent value, being adults only I thought it may have been noisy but it was not, they make sure there's order as one night there were a few men on their balcony talking loud and the night security reminded them there were others and to keep it down, it was all handeled very well.
It's very close to the beach and 10 min walk to the Yumbo

The accommodation was is in a nice area although the Yumbo centre is concrete jungle with poor quality restaurants.

Melonares is a much nicer area.

Nice hotel close to the beach, on a noisy road

Helpful staff, nice apartment, adequate kitchen area to prepare breakfast or a snack, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Lots of hot water and very good shower. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the main road, facing north so no sun (and therefore cooler). There is a small pool but I didn't use it, if you want a poolside holiday, don't stay here, but the beach is nearby and great. Easy five minute walk down to the promenade (with lots of bars and restaurants) and the sandy beach. 10-15 minute walk uphill to the Yumbo Commercial Centre. There is a Bancomat outside the hotel and a supermarket across the road.

Only real drawback is that the hotel is on a busy road and there is fairly constant traffic noise, often starting early in the morning with deliveries and street cleaning etc. I had a couple of disturbed nights, but got used to it in the end. That said, everything else was fine, and it's good value for money, so I would consider staying here again.

The apartments were less than 5 minutes walk down a road with a slight gradient. the Yumbo centre was a
15 minute walk uphill the opposite way and the Kasbah centre was just 10 minutes away as well so it is a

Five minutes from the Beach

Tagoror apartments is a five minute walk to the beach. It was clean and spacious for a one bedroom apartment. There was a bath and shower and towels were changed every day.
The kitchen was well equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave and two ring hob. On arrival we found a complementary bottle of wine and bottle of water which was a nice surprise.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and you feel quite safe in your rooms.

Kitchen in apartment was well equipped (cuttlery included), the free wifi was not great but adequate, beds were comfortable, flat screen tv worked, the private pool area with sunbeds and the heated pool was great!
'Adults only' mean there are no obnoxious kids running around screaming!
Only negative was the noise from the road outside in the evening/night (a pair of silicone earplugs from the nearby pharmacy fixed that).
Very central location; 5 minutes to the Playa Ingles boardwalk, beach and Maspalomas dunes, about 10 minutes to the Yumbo shopping center.
A supermarket is about 50 meters from the apartments, car rental and pharmacy nearby.
All in all a great place!

Great Location but look further....

Let's start with the positive. The location is close proximity to the beach, supermarket and Yumbo Center. Because the area is busy with tourists, a lot of restaurants,cafes and amenities are nearby. The hotel staff are pleasant and helpful.
The apartment we had faced the front so you can have breakfast in the terrace and enjoy the view of people walking towards the beach.

We had problem with toilet ad bidet the technician tried to repair it but the toilet was semi-fixed. The beds were so uncomfortable with spring mattresses that I actually slept on the couch few nights just to get some rest. Internet connection was unbearable unless you want to sit in the reception area. The kitchen is equipped but not enough plugs around and the only one available is an awkward place. Over the electric burner with not enough space to place an appliance. I am on vacation and being able to access the internet from the comfort of my own room was important. After all, we chose a place that offered WIFI but barely a pulse. They will be updating the networks in the area in the spring. There are plenty of hotels, apartments to chose from in the area so please check the reviews for alternatives.

Wifi did not work in rooms, sockets in bedroom and fridge socket hanging out of walls, only one socket in kitchen for kettle and toaster, but could not use hob at same time as had to put kettle on top to boil, shower curtain pole was a curtain extension pole that fell down when you showered. But overall good as we only used as base and Jeanette gave us extension plug to use. Staff very good, just needs a bit of updating, pool was warm and small sunbathing area good, close to beach

I can't disagree with other reviewers that the place needs a refurb, but it is clean, it just needs updating.
We were looking for a place to call base, that was comfortable, value for money and had the amenities for us to cook if we needed to.
We found all those things at Tagoror. We also found one of the friendliest receptionists I've had the pleasure of meeting on my many travels. I thought it was very good value for money and if I visit this area again I would gladly rebook here.

Cheap but not very cheerful

Very basic and in need of a bit of tlc. They're described as fully modernised however a coat of paint and a couple of ikea shelves in the living room doesnt cut it. Very rough around the edges. Cracked tiles, missing grout. Sockets pulling out from the wall when unplugging appliances , in need of new patio doors and windows. You only get what you pay for... cheap as it was... cheerful it was not. Also wifi ONLY works in reception
Note that if booking the courtesy transfer through the apartments for €35 euros it is only one way and NOT return. Only found out on the last day.

Definitely not worth the money

Despite the extremely nice staff the 100 Euros for night are definitely too much for an hotel which is quite old, uncomfortable and in poor conditions. 50-60 Euros a night should be enough.

Good location, close to the beach. V.noisy though!

The hotel is basic but relatively clean. Unfortunately as all rooms have balconies/terraces that face the main road, it is incredibly noisy at night so if you want a good nights sleep...i wouldnt recommend staying here. The pool is really small but as the beach is only 3 minutes walk away, this wasnt too much of an issue. The wifi didnt work in our room, the receptionist said there was a problem with it in all rooms. I also paid for a superior room but stated I did not want a ground floor room. Unfortunately I was booked into a ground floor room and the only alternative room to move to was a standard room so I didnt get the room i paid for. The receptionist was really nice though and tried to be as accommodating as possible. This hotel caters for all different nationalities.

Welcoming apartments.

This was my 1st stay in Gran Canaria. The apartments are very convenient for beach (2 mins) yumbo (5 mins) kasbah (5 mins) and cita (10 mins) , many overs within 20 minutes or short taxi ride/

Staff are very helpful and informative of area.

Rooms were clean and tidy but too near main road being my only gripe. road noise early hours about 5/6 am with deliveries.

Otherwise a great time.

the superior apartment was not as pictured, there was no air con, furniture was cheap and uncomfortable, i had missing curtains, the noise from traffic and people in the street meant you could only sleep between 4 and 7 am, the staff were friendly and the pool was excellent

Great value for the money

Wonderful to stay. The best for value money.
5mn to the beach and 5 minute to Yumbo center for shopping and food.
Very nice staff to answer any questions you may have. Clean rooms and they clean the place everyday just like a normal hotel and they change the towers every other day.
The only down side is the beds. The mattress are very low quaality and not comforable for sleep.
But I will highly recommend this again and again.
You can catch the bus 90 or 66 to go to aurport just 10mn walk from the hotel.

Nice basic apartments with everything you would require. Close to beach and yumbo centre. Water and cava in fridge on arrival as welcone gift. Good wifi. Small pool on 5th floor with lots of space and sufficient loungers.

Affordable and Convenient

Had an enjoyable 2 weeks stay in the Tagaror Beach Apts. All staff were very nice and friendly. Apartment was clean, accomodating and overall has nice facilities, such as clean solarium and swimming pool. Rooms could do with some modernisation, such as new furniture and the windows at the balcony are very weak, they should be replaced with double windows as the noise from the road in front can be easily heard day and night. Wi-Fi can be slow at times in the area. But would stay in Tagoror again if I am in Playa Del Inglis. From Fergus in Dublin.

Das Gebäude ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Appartements sind gepflegt und sauber. Hervorzuheben ist die Lage der Unterkunft: der Strand ist quasi um die Ecke und diverse Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

A resaltar la atencion de las personas de recepcion y limpieza. Muy buena ubicación. Necesita un poco de reforma en general pero sé que estan en ello. Una pena porque en el tiempo que este de obra no voy a poder alojarme alli pero seguro que volvere.
