Check in was straight forward. The person on reception spoke English, which helped, and showed us to our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped, all good. Breakfast was great with a large variety of good food buffet style. There is a large free public car park across the road which seemed safe.
It is a ten minute walk into Douarnenez. All in all if you are looking for a small hotel in Douarnenez its great. Picture 2 is the view from our room.

The hotel is located a little outside the city. The room has been clean and had the facilities we expected. However the bathroom and shower are very, very small (especially the toilet...), the room had the charm of the late 80ties and smelled not to well on entereing. There is no elevator (which was not an issue for us), but an old-fashioned wooden, narrow staircase.
The breakfast was ok, but not overhelming...

Excellent stay for 7 nights. Very friendly owner. Nothing was too much trouble. Great room which was kept spotlessly clean every day. Clean linen every 3 days! Only a 20 minute walk either way to old town or pleasure port. Free parking opposite and dozens of boules pitches too.

Excellent hotel, staff could not do enough to make our stay a pleasure. Plenty of parking either at kerbside or across the road in public car park. Just a stroll down the hill and across the river to the creperies and bars in the lovely old harbour.

Simple but comfortable and affordable hotel
Good location across the river from the town. Fairly easy to walk across the pedestrian bridge or the vehicle bridge into the center of town. Very affable and helpful desk clerk. Good crepes restaurant two doors down. Easy free parking in public lot directly across the street from the hotel. No fancy decor, but clean and comfortable room. We did not have a view from our room, but there may have been river views from the dining room or other rooms.

We were greeted by the owner who was very kind and welcoming.. apologising for his English when it was great (just wish my french was better!). There was easy and ample parking for the hotel. The rooms were clean and not too small with noticeably modernised bathrooms. Although the hotel is not in the centre of town it is within easy walking distance on a fine day and the walk is a pleasant one (over a bridge across the river/port to the town centre side). The hotel has it's own restaurant and the menu looked good (didn't get to sample it as it didn't open Sunday evenings) but we did have breakfast in there, was very nice and best of all the view!! It looks over the port and the town, great start to the day!!

Hotel de propreté douteuse... bouilloire couverte de poussière, linge sale des prédécesseurs dans le placard, radiateur impossible à éteindre et donc obligation de fenêtre et volets grands ouverts avec une chambre coté rue. Ce sera notre dernière visite.

Die asiatischen Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Auch beim guten Frühstück (mit Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine!!) haben sie sofort aufgefüllt was fehlte. Das Zimmer war gut mit schönem Blick auf den Fluss. Es hätte beim Frühstück auch eine tolle Terrasse gegeben, aber leider hat es geregnet, als wir da waren. Grosser Nachteil: Es gibt keinen Lift und unser Zimmer war im 3. Stock.

Douarnenez est une ville sympathique, nous aimons bien ses monuments, le musée maritime, ses restaurants (dont la Capitainerie à Treboul).
Les environs sont beaux: avons été à la pointe du Raz (jusqu'au bout), Locronan, Pleyben.
