Would stay there again!

I was doing research at the University of Mongolia and also the National Library of Mongolia and so the Flower Hotel was in a very good location for me. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
There were three different restaurants with the Chinese restaurant being the place I went because I am a vegetarian. The price of the meals was okay and the food tasted very good. Also need breakfast buffet was quite sufficient and was a part of my hotel working.
The floor in my room could have been vacuumed more often.
Another bonus was that the bath house was free to the guests of the hotel. It was kept clean. Had a large sauna as well as a good size hot water pool and a small cold water pool
If I ever need a hotel again the Flower Hotel would be my first price since the value of what you get for the money is excellent in my opinion.

I was given a room that had no AC so I had to go back to reception and ask them to change the room. They then moved me to a different room, but the AC did not work. Had to sleep with the windows open and it was very noisy outside .

I love the Flower Hotel, and have stayed many times. It is conveniently located for buses, a 15 minute walk to Sukhbaatar Square, and a two minute walk to eMart, a Costco like supermarket/department store. It has always been somewhat \"Japanese friendly,\" catering to both the Japanese businessperson and tour group and the front staff speak both Japanese and English. The Japanese bath and the adjacent massage facility are excellent. The hotel is clean, but somewhat \"elderly,\" almost \"heritage\" in style and appointments, and being rather small it feels quite cosy, I made many friends over breakfast and hanging about. The restaurants are OK. Be careful: I ended up in an \"economy\" room which had NO air conditioning in the brutal summer Mongolian sun. I have not seen a room w/ no air-conditioning in decades so I wasn't attentive to this when I made my reservation. However, they went out of their way to put me in an upgraded room in spite of being fully booked. I will stay again.

Small room but comfortable and newly renovated. Helpful staff, convenient location and good restaurants. The only thing I did not like was the pillow. It was very hard and gave me a sore neck.

The rooms were old. The toilet didn’t work properly,only cold water . We paid for AC but there was no AC.
Breakfast was ok but if you go after 9am there is not much left to eat.
Staff don’t speak English so tough to communicate

호텔은 매우 조용하고 조식도 먹을만합니다 단체태국인들이 몰려와 왁자지껄 떠든것이외는 대부분 사람들은 조용히 식사를합니다 나이든 일본단체관광객이 많이 찾아 오지만 에팃켓은 잘 지킵니다 2번째 이용했는데요 울란바토르 오게되면 다시 이용하려합니다

Friendly helpful staff, good sized rooms, breakfasr is pretty reasonable. The Japanese bath house is great.
It is about 20 minutes walk to the city centre, i always felt safe even at night but look out for loose paving etc. There is a big supermarket less than 5 minutes away which is helpful

Great hotel in Ulaanbaatar

Flower hotel is located outside the city center; however, there are shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The area surrounding this hotel is safe and quiet. The room I stayed is small, but it is clean and its amenities are in good condition. The hotel staff is polite and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is very good. I highly recommend this hotel to those who plan to visit Ulaanbaatar.

There was some harassment and a lot of noise overnight from groups of other guests. This sort of thing was going on at the Blue Sky last year, but has quieted there now. The staff and facilities are excellent, this is a really valuable group of hotel empolyees, with some motivated outside disruption.

I initially booked this hotel because of good reviews, which I trusted and it did not disappoint. The hotel have 4 restaurants inside the hotel, my favorite was the bathhouse and spa area. I had a good sleep after a good massage and dinner at the Mongolian restaurant. It is easy to find, and right across e-mart store. The staffs were really helpful. Due to language barriers on some occasion, those who can understand and speak English made themselves available to help out.
I had a great stay and will come back to this hotel again. Thank you.

Everything is perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Quiet. Bed is comfortable and shower had good warm pressure. Refrigerator was full of refreshments. 4 very good restaurants in hotel. This is our favorite place to stay. Highly recommend to everyone. Nikolai and Zaya.

terrible stay - maybe I'm in bad luck?

Power breakdown at midnight for 30 mins
Broken card sensor
Missing pillows in my room
Poor cable management in room
asked for a room change with AC, limited english at reception, ended up charging me for room upgrade next morning
I didn't expect 4 or 5 star experience with the price I pay, but this is way too terrible than i can accept.

Nice hotel and the staff members were very helpful when I needed it. They always greet you with a smile when you cross the main corridor. Safe place to Exchange Currency also. The Breakfasts were out of this world. Quiet and cozzy. Loved the Mongolian programs on tv. I can say that, it's a jewel in the mountains. Great restaurants to have dinner, too. A great place to stay when in UB.

朝食も美味しくゆったりしてモンゴルらしい料理もあり満足。最初、ホテルの場所が分かりにくくタクシーの運転手ですら迷い時間がかかりました。
相対的に快適なホテルでした。

チェックアウトの際に、ミニバーの使用申告を元に、あらためて客室係が部屋を確認するプロセスのせいで手続きに長時間を要する。
両替やタクシー手配も含めて、頼めばやってくれるのだが、スタッフ数と対応可能なサービスが乖離しているものと推測される。

22時まで使える大浴場と本格的なサウナが最高でした。清潔で、地元のモンゴル人も利用されてました。良いふれあいでした。ウランバートルは小さな街なので中心地まで徒歩15-20分。真冬でない限り歩きが便利です。

部屋はきれいにしてあった。
最近リノベーションしたのだろうか、入口付近に新しいクローゼット？があった。それがルームキーを差し込むところを隠していて、5分ほど探してしまった。このあたりモンゴリアンスタイルを感じた。笑

１泊した感覚では日本語が通じるスタッフは１名居るかどうかなので、それを決め手にここに泊まる必要はないと感じた。

しかしスタッフは親切で、荷物を預かったり、タクシーを呼んでくれたりした。お陰で市内の観光を楽しめたし、郊外の日本人慰霊碑にも行けた。

宿泊客は無料の大浴場に行けなかったが、（11:00〜22:00）モンゴルでゆっくりと汗を流せるのはいいと思った。

no Air condition

unfortunately, the room had no air condition, therefore i cancelled the rest of my stay and went to another hotel. I have to say the lobby is abit old but the rooms were nice. Pity about the air condition otherwise i would have been happy to stay there.
