This was significantly overpriced for a very modest property and the promises were a bit deceptive. To say it is beach front is seriously.misrepresentative. it is up a steep, winding road. The expensive pay parking, if the hotel is busy, can mean parking halfway down the mountain. The room was worn and shabby. We were deeply disappointed at the price. Finding the place was a nightmare, with it's hidden entrance on a hairpin turn. The young man who checked us in was professional and excellent given the product he had to present. The pool closed at 6 pm and check out is at 10 am, when the pool reopens..you can use the pool in the morning, he said. But parking expires at 10 so we would have had to pay another 29 euros or found parking in the town and hiked back up to the hotel to swim. All in all, very disappointing.

It’s probably the best hotel in this area. The hotel is very dated and is in need of update. The views from hotel and breakfast area are amazing. Wouldn’t recommend the breakfast, for Italy the standard is very low. Also beds are very hard, if your used to American style mattress it might be hard to get good night sleep. Otherwise the location and easy parking and access to beach is great.

We stayed in a superior room that was spacious, comfortable and had a large terrace with sun loungers and a sea view. The hotel is set in the side of a cliff and parking is tricky. However, the concierge were very helpful and parked the car for us. The breakfast was superb with a huge choice of hot and cold food for only 3 euros per person . The reception staff gave us some good restaurant recommendations. We found Spotorno to be charming in an old fashioned way. We would return to this hotel if visiting Spotorno again.

Lovely position, helpful staff, nearby restaurant.

We had a lovely time here in one of the best rooms. It was sad that the beach closed the weekend we arrived (17th September) as we might have chosen another hotel had we realised. Luckily the beach next door was still open as we came mainly to swim and relax. There were a few coach parties overnight, but as we didn't eat in the hotel at night, this was not disruptive.

This hotel occupies a beautiful position on the hill affording great sea views with easy access to the beach across the street

The service provided by staff was above and beyond what is typically expected. They were extremely helpful, kind, and patient helping us with everything from recommending nearby restaurants to organizing a sailing excursion for 10 on last minute notice.

The rooms were always clean, and the amenities are great. I would definitely recommend the Aqua Novella to anyone looking to stay in the Spotorno/Bergeggi area.

When Aqua Novella was built in the 50s it must have been a spectacular hotel. While it does need some upgrading - it is still a good hotel. The breakfast is one of the best I've had in Italy - the views are breath taking and the service is very friendly.

Our only gripe is that the rooms shown in the photos, did not reflect the room we had - it was small and there was not enough room to swing a cat in the bathroom. The shower leaked and the toilet cistern needs maintenance.

We would go back to the hotel but would expect a better room- which they do have.

Great hotel service was fantastic everyone very friendly even if they had limited English it was much better than our Italian so well done to all the staff we met . Hotel very clean breakfast was nice all you could you want . We had an upgrade to a room with a terrace & wow what a view you could see all round the bay . Parking was good beach just 2 minute walk away . Not to much local in the way of shops resturants but there are beach bars & the hotel has a resturant but we did not use it . Bed comfy linen & towels all very clean would go back & have recommended only downside was the swimming pool was not ready but the beach is so close it was not a problem

Hotel Aqua Novella - a nice surprise

This is a delightful hotel and the staff are very helpful. Rooms are large and airy, clean and quaintly decorated. The breakfast was generous and varied. Only comment would be that the restaurant is expensive but food good. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Es war ein traumhafter 9- tägiger Urlaub, welchen wir in dem Hotel verbringen durften. Das Frühstück war so toll, wie die Lage des Hotels. Vom Frühstückssaal und von vielen Zimmern hat man einen traumhaften Meerblick. Es ist Klimatisiert und die Leute sind sehr nett. Es gibt einen Aufzug, mit welchen man fast bis zum Strand gelangen kann. Man ist somit vom Zimmer in nur 5 Minuten mit Nutzung des Hotel und des Strandaufzuges am Strand. Wir waren mit allen Leistungen inkl. des schönen Außenpools sehr zufrieden. Kritikpunkte fallen mir kaum welche ein! Lediglich der Parkplatz-Preis ist mit 16,00 EUR/ Tag ziemlich hoch. Aber man wird nicht gezwungen, auf der Hotelanlage zu parken. Ich hatte großes Glück, in der Nähe einen der sehr wenigen kostenlosen Parkplätzen zu finden. Der Strand unterhalb des Hotels ist ebenfalls sehr schön -nur kosten 2 Liegen und ein Schirm inkl. Hotelrabatt immer noch 35 EUR/Tag.

Schade dass das Restaurant im Hotel geschlossen ist. Das Restaurant am hoteleigenen Strand ist offen, schliesst jedoch wie der Strand um 19.00h. Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel ein Nogo. Das Abendessen mussten wir auswärts einnehmen. Überraschend wenig Leute im Juli, was sehr angenehm war. Liegestuhlmiete mit Sonnenschirm mit € 20.00 p.P./Tag horrend hoch!!

Fantastisk udsigt over havet og skøn pool!

Virkelig dejligt hotel. Vi boede i den nye bygning bag selve hotellet, men det var nemt at komme fra værelset til hovedbygningen via gangbro og elevator. Dejligt poolområde med udsigt til havet. Stor balkon med flot udsigt.
Udmærket morgenbuffet. Ikke gourmet, men der manglede ikke noget.
Lidt dyrt hotel, men det er udsigten, man betaler for, så det er ok.
Nem adgang til stranden via elevator! Vejen op til hotellet er meget stejl og kringlet.
God mulighed for parkering (mod betaling).
Flere gode restauranter på stranden indenfor kort gåafstand.
Det meste af stranden hører til strand-restauranter, der lejer dyre strandstole ud. Men der er offentlige områder ind i mellem restauranterne, som man frit kan benytte. Sådan er det bare i Italien!

Das Hotel punktet mit der Lage und dem eigenen Bagni direkt vor der Tür. Mit einem Lift gelangt man zum Stand was sehr angenehm ist. Schade finde ich, dass wie trotz Superiorzimmerbuchung mit Meerblick direkt das Zimmer an der Hoteltrasse hatten, welches den Alt- mit dem Neubau verband. Sobald jemand diese Trasse betrat konnte man direkt innunser Zimmer schauen. Fanden wir sehr schade und ist nicht gut gelöst worden beim Neubau. Zudem, was wir eine Frechheit fanden, war das Restaurant abends geschlossen. Da das Hotel vom Zentrum dich relativ weit entfernt ist, mussten wir bei strömenden Regen auf Nahrungssuche. Somit finden wir den Preis ein wenignzu hoch für das Gebotene. Frühstück zufriedenstellend und das Personal herzlich und hilfsbereit.

Bon hotel dans l’ensemble. Nous (famille de deux adultes avec 1enfant de 3 ans) avons eu une jolie chambre dans la partie nouvelle, avec climatisation (indispensable vu les chaleurs même si pas très écologique) et jolie vue sur mer. Salle de bains bien agencée, et bonne connexion wifi. La plage est juste en face et appartient à l’hotel, ce qui facilite la location de transats. Les petits déjeuners sont très bons mais payants (attention, non compris dans le prix ebookers). Le personnel du restaurant est très attentionné. Le point qui nous a posé problème: le restaurant est fermé le soir. Il faut aller à côté (restaurants de plages souvent bons mais complets en aôut), ou au centre de Spotorno (20-30 min à pied ou 5 min en voiture, mais parkings complets!). Sinon le cadre naturel est très beau, avec une petite île réserve naturelle à proximité, eau de bonne qualité.

Das Hotel ist ok. Nicht mehr, nicht weniger. Sauber, das Personal professionell, aber nicht sonderlich freundlich. Für mich reicht das nicht für 4*. Kein Service am (kleinen) Pool. Strandplätze sehr teuer. Restaurant am Abend nicht geöffnet. Frühstück nicht inklusive. Dazu während der Sommerferien die Restaurants in der Umgebung komplett überlaufen. Alles in allem zu wenig.

Die Zimmer sind extrem klein und dann auch mit Möbeln zugestellt nur um einen Stern zusätzlich zu bekommen. Das Bad ist das gleiche. Die Dusche misst 50x50 cm. 50 % von den angebotenen Speisen zum Frühstück sind fertig Waren, abgepackt in Plastik.
In diesem Preissegment ist das nicht akzeptabel.

Una stella di troppo.
Struttura in una buona posizione anche se distante da tutto. Bella piscina, spazi comuni ampi e di buon gusto scarsamente utilizzati anche per la mancanza di servizi (neanche un servizio bar).
Scarsa manutenzione particolarmente nella dependance dove si alloggiava. Bella camera con terrazzo grande poco attrezzato (giusto due seggioline e un tavolino) e poco pulito.
Asciugamani per la piscina o la spiaggia a pagamento.
Accensione della luce centralizzata con la card non funzionante non riparata nonostante più richieste e quindi grande luminaria dopo la pulizia. Probabilmente le cameriere non erano al corrente del guasto e lasciavano tutto acceso. Viva la sostenibilità!
Una cena sola non ripetuta per tutto il soggiorno.
In generale ho avuto l'impressione della mancanza di una direzione attenta alla struttura stessa e alle necessità del cliente.
Al momento del conto (lunga fila perchè check out ore 10!) addebitati un giorno di più di spiaggia (visto e quindi stornato) e due colazioni (visto solo a casa per la fretta di sveltire la coda e quindi fine).
Utile il pass per il bus, in modo da spostarsi con facilità in luoghi con maggiori opportunità anche se ottenuto senza grande spontaneità ma dopo varie richieste a differenza di quanto avviene in altri luoghi turistici dove si riceve al check in.
Preferibili altri bagni a quello convenzionato.

Preis Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht. Wir haben über 200 € gezahlt, hatten ein Premium Zimmer und blickten auf ein uraltes Hintergebäude des Hotels. Pool ist nicht sehr einladend. Sieht auf den Bildern viel besser aus.
Strand kostet 25 - 30 €. Für Hotelkunden keine Vorteile.

L'albergo è in posizione stategica tra Bergeggi e Spotorno proprio.di fronte all'isolotto e ha una vista panoramica su tutto il.golfo. Le camere sono pulite e ben equipaggiate. La colazione viene servita in un salone con un'ampia vetrata che domina il mare. E la.piscina è pulita e sufficientemente spaziosa .
Uniche pecche sono la mancanza di una spiaggia propria anche perché la.convenzione con i bagni a 29 eur/ giorno sopra i 188 della tariffa a notte sono forse un po' troppi e l' assenza di un parcheggio privato sufficientemente spazioso (12 eur/giorno)

Le centre ville est un peu loin, le soir il faut marcher pour aller aux resto, mais promenade le long de la mer fort agréable
Le personnel hôtel et plage est courtois, poli.
Très bon petit déjeuner à un tarif abordable !
Vacances dépaysantes typiques, l’hotel Et la ville sont occupés par des italiens majoritairement.
On est loin des zones ultra touristiques et c’est Appréciable.

Pulizia delle camere non all'altezza di un quattro stelle.
Lavandino del bagno quasi completamente otturato.
.ristorante del lido con piccoli vermi sotto i tavoli.
Staff gentilissimo.
Ottimo e pulito il ristorante dell'albergo e personale si sala preparato disponibile e gentile. Siamo rimasti a cena ogni sera!

Ho prenotato una superior con terrazzo vista mare, peccato che le camere superior si affacciano su dei palazzacci anni settanta e solo in piccola parte si vede il mare da lontano. Quindi le camere sono VISTA MARE PARZIALE. Mi pare una pratica commerciale equivoca vendere una camera vista mare totale per una parziale. Inoltre il parcheggio ha posti limitati, quindi si rischia di rimanere senza posto e questo è un problema perché non ci sono altri parcheggi nelle vicinanze. L’arredamento è piuttosto povero e scadente.

Oltre il panorama niente di più...

Weekend al mare con la famiglia, in questa struttura in una bella posizione. L hotel rappresenta l' emblema dei problemi del turismo in Italia. Scenario mozzafiato, come tanti in Italia, ma con una carenza di servizi che non giustifica il prezzo. La struttura è carina, bella la piscina ed in generale la cura delle parti comuni. Passiamo alle note dolenti: Parcheggio a pagamento, che però non c è dato che in realtà bisogno essere fortunati a trovare posto, essendo non assegnato. Per i neonati culla a pagamento ma a vedere le dimensioni della camera ci si pone dei dubbi su dove si sarebbe potuta metterla. Doccia piccola, kit di cortesia praticamente assente. Colazione con l essenziale ed a pagamento. Accesso alla spiaggia complicato, bisogna avventurarsi sull' Aurelia. Ma la parte disarmante è la spiaggia convenzionata. L unica cosa che funzionava era la cassa, zero ristorante, solo panini, nessun servizio al tavolo, zero giochi per bambini e per adulti ma con i prezzi più alti della zona. Nonostante il tempo brutto e la struttura in ristrutturazione ci hanno fatto pagare il sovrapprezzo per il sabato

Abbiamo soggiornato qui per una notte, hotel molto carino, camera confortevole, ottima colazione a prezzo contenuto ( 6€ a testa ).

Avevo chiesto e pagato una stanza con vista mare....ma il mare si vedeva molto male perchè davanti c'è una costruzione (che è una parte dell'hotel) che in pratica ostruisce la visuale. Allora perchè vendono camere con vista mare quando non lo sono?

Buona esperienza, personale gentile e molto disponibile, pronto ad accogliere le nostre richieste. Albergo ben tenuto, abbiamo soggiornato nell’ala nuova completamente ristrutturata. Disposto su una piccola collina ma con ascensore diretto alla spiaggia privata con buon ristorante. Viaggiavamo in coppia con bambina di 6 anni, abbiamo chiesto late checkout per goderci la giornata e ci è stato accordato senza problemi e, dato il periodo (giugno) senza costi aggiuntivi.nelle vicinanze ottimi ristoranti sulla spiaggia. Il centro del paese si raggiunge a piedi con una passeggiata di 5/10min...insomma ottimo posto per un we di relax e da ripetere.
