This is a somewhat dated (quirky even?) hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel is well-worn, but our rooms were big by European standards. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Shower, while it took a bit to figure out how to turn it on, produced a good flow of plenty warm water. Parking on street after 7pm and before 9am is free. The carpet could be replaced, as it’s dated. Hotel is on a main boulevard and is convenient to all sorts of food and the theatre. All told, I would stay there again for the right price.

Gorizia: fine choice.

Room was quiet, clean, and staff were helpful and cheerful. We arrived at the same time as a Harley Davidson group that had cycled up from Rome! Things were a little chaotic at check in but staff worked hard and pulled things together.

Very nice hotel with great location and free parking. Staff is friendly and happy to help with advices. Wi-Fi connection is great as well. Superior Room is good and with huge bed. Breakfast is awesome with a lot a choice for only 3€/guest.
A swimming pool or spa would make it even better.
To be recommended for sure in you make an Easter Europe - Western Europe trip!

Nice hotel in the middle of roadworks when we stop

Hotel is very clean and modern and room was comfortable with good wifi. Breakfast staff and layout was good. The issue we had was that the main road an path right outside the main door was being ripped up. Whilst the noise wasn't too bad trying to get in and out of the hotel was like trying to throw a six as you dodge men and machines, we had one occasion where we were met by an excavator within inches of the main door ripping up the path. No mention of this work was made when we were booking which is not right. Without him this work the hotel would be a good pick

Reception was awesoem, they quickly offered us local sites to see. The parking garage was closed so we had to oay street parking which I thought should have been paid for by hotel since part of the reason for picking this hotel was free parking. The roos were very nice and clean. Breakfast was good.

Excellent and clean rooms, balconies (when there) with nice view. I can also recommend to take the breakfast, it is excellent and inexpensive with very good coffee. No problem if you are with your car, the hotel has a parking, but be careful when entering and leaving it.

A good stay in Gorizia

We only spent one night at the Gorizia Palace and we had a pleasant stay. The room was simple, yet comfortable and clean. Our room was spacious and included tea/coffee making facilities, and the wifi in the room worked well.

Parking on the street was reasonably easy to obtain. The location seemed to be good, with a nice pizza restaurant across the street, and nearby the town centre. Overall we had a good, yet short stay.

Lovely little town, great hotel

We stayed here for almost a week and didn't want to leave! Gorizia is a beautiful town, the people are open and friendly. There are lots of beautiful shops bars and restaurants to enjoy. It's half an hour from the beach and the mountains. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast varied and plentiful and the staff super efficient.

The room was clean, comfortable, had tea & coffee making facilities, balcony, 1km from train station. Good quality & variety for breakfast buffet.

At our check-in Andrea was so helpful with all necessary information about the hotel as well as places to visit . On every other time we asked for information he was so good that I would have to say he has been the best in our 4 weeks in Europe. The hotel is convenient to all the places of interest in Gorizia being on the main road. As the town is small it is not noisy. Breakfast is good with a good variety for a small hotel.

I travel over 200 days per year. Being a Finnish businessman I appreciate good service and value for every penny I pay. I can warmly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was just fantastic, service was warm and cosy, yet efficient. Rooms were clean, well equipped with balkony to mountains. Maybe still missing some international tv channels but nevertheless, the view from the balcony compensated that well. Could consider also for Holiday resort as location is best possible at centre of small town Gorizia and mountains all around.

Considerate staff, quick to resolve issues

I had a few bureaucratic issues related to the hotel booking that the hotel staff were happy to fix. The hotel collects payment upon arrival, rather than pre-purchasing the hotel like other hotels on Hotels.com. As such, the price quoted on Hotels.com was different from the price being charged at the location, due to undisclosed city taxes, etc. during booking time. The hotel staff was friendly and worked with me to resolve the issue. When booking a hotel in Gorizia, it's a good idea to contact the hotels directly to determine the final price of the hotel, since Hotels.com is currently only able to reserve a room without providing the full price. I don't consider it Hotels.com's fault, though, since other booking websites were also only able to reserve rooms in Gorizia without being able to charge your card in advance.

Admittedly our stay was just as a \"passing through\" but whilst clean and tidy this really is an \"average\" hotel in a very \" average\" area. There is no bar facility available so you need to visit a bar over the road (where our age probably raised the average by several years to say 20?) and the car parking facilities are \"tight\" for larger cars. Often like to use Best Western establishments, but disappointingly not one of the \"best\".

Right in the main street of lovely Gorizia. Reception printed out bus timetables so I could travel to Nova Gorica to catch the train to Bled in Slovenia. The hotel was excellent which was a great relief as I had never been to Italy before this. I would recommend this hotel and realize this is the best hotel in Gorizia.

Gute Lage, freundliches Personal, angenehmes Bett, geräumiges Badezimmer. Frühstück hatten wir nicht dazu genommen, da wir nicht viel frühstücken. Mehrere Cafés/Bars in der Umgebung, wo es guten schnellen Kaffee gibt. Schlechtes WLAN und einmal in der Früh war kaum mehr warmes Wasser da - das sollte in der Preisklasse nicht passieren. Ansonsten alles bestens.

Zunächst gilt: keine grundsätzlichen Einwände. Die Rezeption war nicht nur professionell freundlich, sondern ausnehmend hilfsbereit beim Parken (Ziehen des Tickets, etc.). Großen Dank! Außer der (wie allzu häufig) gefährlichen glatten Badewanne irritierte uns der für uns undurchschaubare Mechanismus des Umschaltens zur Dusche (die Gebrauchsanleitung versteckte sich...). Das ließe sich leicht korrigieren!

Sono stato al Best Western Gorizia Palace Hotel e devo dire che l’esperienza è stata decisamente positiva. L’hotel si trova in una posizione perfetta, a pochi passi dal centro storico di Gorizia, il che lo rende ideale per chi vuole esplorare la città comodamente a piedi. La struttura è moderna, curata e molto pulita, con un design sobrio ma elegante.

Le camere sono spaziose, ben arredate e dotate di tutti i comfort: letto comodissimo, aria condizionata efficiente, Wi-Fi veloce e un bagno ampio con doccia moderna. Alcune stanze offrono anche una bella vista sulla città.

La colazione è uno dei punti forti: abbondante, varia e con prodotti di qualità, sia dolci che salati. Lo staff è gentilissimo, disponibile e professionale – ti accolgono sempre con un sorriso e sono pronti ad aiutare per qualsiasi esigenza.

Un punto in più va alla possibilità di parcheggio privato e alla tranquillità generale dell’ambiente, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di visite o lavoro.

La struttura è perfettamente coerente con il posizionamento del suo prezzo.
Il primo impatto con il personale al check-in è stato ottimo: la ragazza al banco la sera si è prodigata in tutti i modi per esserci utile e per fornirci tutte le informazioni richieste, facilitandoci nella permanenza di 5 giorni. Lo stesso impatto positivo con il resto del personale: dalla sala delle colazioni al personale al piano.
Colazione (a pagamento, 8€ a testa) ottima, parcheggio interno non ampio (e sfruttabile fino ad esaurimento dei posti) ma gratuito.

Buona la stanza 210 dell'albergo, ottimo il letto king della camera, se vogliamo trovare un difetto possiamo rilevare che nel bagno non c'è il bidet , la seduta del gabinetto è scomoda (sono quelle alte da handicap) e il box doccia è poco maneggevole. Buono il servizio della colazione.
