Hotel was nice but a trek into town. Staff was not overly hosiptal and we were not told on check in that there was a fee for breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel for a week in a refurbished twin room with balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and well presented. The pool area was excellent and well maintained. A buffet breakfast was included in our room rate and the choice of breakfast options was superb, including sliced meat and cheese, various bread options, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea, coffee and preserves. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking at the hotel for cars and bicycle hire is available. Its about a 30 minute walk to Dolphin Square and the centre of Kos town and there are plenty of restaurants and shops within 10 minutes of walking. All in all, this is an excellent hotel and I'd certainly go back again.

Quaint, clean, hotel with lovely staff in a nice quiet area. Pool is really nice and a real sun trap. Only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach and shops.

Nice quiet location, but a bit of a walk into the centre of Kos town and also the beach, especially in the heat of the day. Otherwise, a nice clean property with lovely staff & would stay there again.

Convenient for the price and location. Rooms are clean and mostly comfortable. The only discomfort was that the room was next to the reception which made it noisy and felt intrusive. Book your transfers in advance as prices might double.

Nice and Quiet with a country side view

Leonidas is a quiet setting just out of Kos near Lambi. A bit of a walk to town, but they rent bicycles and then its about 5 minutes. Simple, clean, quiet and a nice place to say. No frills. There is local restaurants to eat at within walking distance. The hotel has everything needed with a bit of a nostalgia of times past. The grounds are well maintained and it looks like they upgrade as much as they can. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there.

Excellent hospitality

Everything was perfect. The staff was so so kind and helpful with everything, and was always ready to make sure, that your stay would be comfortable. Family run small hotel with lovely clean pool. Our room was spacius , comfortable & very clean. Great quiet location close to good restaurants & super market. Kos town & beach 10-15 minutes walk. Great holiday.

Más o menos no más. Llegué muy temprano al hotel y nadie me avisó que mi pieza no estaría limpia, por lo que tuve que esperar a que la limpiaran, habiendo podido llegar a dormir después del largo viaje que tuve. Además queda bastante lejos de lo \"entretenido\" por lo que si uno es joven y quiere ir de fiesta y pasarlo muy bien, es mejor irse más al centro de Kos. Por otro lado, para los que quieren tranquilidad, el hotel es bueno dado que está en una zona semirural. Además las piezas bien limpias y el hotel ordenado y tranquilo. Habían más familias y no tanta gente joven.

Inexpensive and clean.

We arrived before checking time but everything was ready so we were checked in and shown the room. This is a basic hotel room, the beds were comfortable sheets and towels changed every 2 days. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, we didn't see any other staff.
The TV and fridge were not working when we arrived but this was rectified while we were out the next day.
If you are on a tight budget stay here and eat out.

Basic but clean and does the job.

This is a budget hotel so do not expect four star facilities.
We had a first floor room over reception which looked out over the mothballed hotel next door but gave a good view over to the mountains. The large balcony faced due west so got the afternoon sun full on it.
The room was of a decent size with rather old and basic furniture and a fridge, which we used, and 2 cooking rings which we didn't. The room was very clean but a little dated.
The bed was rather hard and we had a pillow each which wasn't enough for me but I was readily given another one on requesting it.
The bathroom had a basin (with no plug) a toilet and a shower. The shower was a tray with plastic curtain and a hand held shower head. It was nigh on impossible to prevent the floor getting soaked. The water was hot.
The air conditioning was included in the price and worked well.
The reception area was comfortable and there is a small bar but no restaurant.
Breakfast was a cold buffet. We found it fine but there were a couple of people who thought it inadequate. If you want more plenty of the bars do full english breakfasts.
The swimming pool was very good and clean but there is no pool bar.

Great value, lovely pool, quiet position.

Excellent value hotel, just short stroll (15mins) from centre of Kos Town, but lots of interesting shops & restaurants on the way in. We were in room 115, just past reception, so great WiFi reception, which was free. Friendly family run hotel with lovely pool & no shortage of sunbeds & parasols. We had a self catering room with small basic kitchen area, inc a decent sizes fridge. Minimum equipment, just 2 plates, k, f & spoons, no kettle,just big saucepan & small frying pan. Sadly the only let down was that the room was tired & very basic, although clean. But we had all we needed, no charge for the air conditioning, a balcony with table & chairs, comfortable clean beds and adequate en suite. But we had all we needed for a great relaxing holiday & the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Kos Town was wonderful, great restaurant, the Sunset, 5 mins from hotel, with best local supermarket opposite, trip to Turkey for just 8Euro plus statutory 5Euro tax, fantastic all day boat trip on the Katarina, inc v good lunch for 25euros, a morning spent wandering round the amazing ruined castle overlooking the port. Great shopping, people watching, everyone so friendly - generally the Brits are loved by the Greeks. Altogether a wonderful holiday. I'd definitely return to the Leonidas!

Goos valmue for money - excellent staff

To be sure, this hotel is not luxurious, but the staff is very helpful and friendly. I was surprised to have a very good mattress and the aircondition worked perfectly (not noisy). Only small complaint would be the cleanliness of the pool, but with the Med just 5 minutes away by foot that was no big iissue.

Ok as a base

Nice hotel - bit far from the beach if you walk everywhere but quiet neighbourhood and fine as a base to explore. The hotel staff are very helpful fot taxis, bikes or vehicles if you need. Friendly staff, cheap price, clean hotel room (though the beds were a little soft). Wifi working throughout - would go back but there are better islands to explore than kos :)

Basic hotel at a basic price - great value

Hotel just outside town centre (15 min walk) so handy but quiet.. Some supermarkets, bars Restaurants at end of road so need to go all the way into town if you don't want to. Beds very comfy and basic cooking facilities to do our own breakfasts.

Good value for money budget option

A good budget option if you are staying in Kos Town. Quality and cleanliness is at least equal to or even exceeds budget hotels in major european cities such as Paris or Rome. The hotel is a short walk from the main road as some reviews have noted, but this is more than compensated for by the pool and relaxed nature of the hotel. Location is in fact better than many hotels on Lambi beach north of Kos Town. Definitely recommended.

AIr condition was not working properly, needed adjacements daily. Promised to be a 3 bed room, actually it was a 2-bed room with an extra uncomfortable mobile bed. The rooms kept clean though. Pool was not working all days. Temperature of water in the bath was hard to adjust (it was coming too hot or too cold).

Very nice. Definitely recommend.

A nice cheap hotel just 15 minutes from city center. I stayed there for four nights in end of June and I really do not have any complains. Friendly staff, decent rooms, air condition, swimming pool in a quite area.

Perfect base to explore Kos from. About a 15 min walk from Kos town. Nice pool area. The room was clean with a balcony. Also had a fridge and air conditioning. Room was cleaned every day. At this price range was exceptional value. Would highly recommend.

A Good Budget Hotel

For the price this was a good experience. The Hotel needs to be updated but the facilities were clean and well maintained, In fact we had to fight off the cleaning lady who wanted to clean nearly every day. Linen service was excellent. Pool was great!
The only gripe concerned the severe lack of cutlery crockery and cooking tools which made self catering interesting.
For the fit the shoping facilities were within walking distace. Thoroughly reccommend the \"Van Gogh\" restaurant inthe main street..
Kos town is smart and well maitained with interesting sites to see. The castle on the harbour was well worth a visit.
Hertz hire car was reliable and economic. Look out for late pick up fees. We had to pay £28.00 because the plane was over an hour late!

Leonidas Hotel and Studios is a very nice hotel for everybody. It is placed in a peaceful area, near the Kos city center (about 15min walking). Rooms were very clean, staff was kind and helpful and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing.

A perfect place for holidays!

I am completely satisfied with my stay in Leonidas Hotel and Studios. The people were very friendly and kind and the rooms were cleaned every day. We loved the air-condition in our room since the whether outside was very warm. Swimming pool was nice and clean. Location could't have been better since the hotel is in a very relaxing area only 10 min away from city center and a sandy beach.

Stille og roligt.

Beliggenheden var lidt langt væk fra havnen hvor vi ankom fra. Til gengæld var det et kæmpe plus at det lå lidt gemt væk, for så var der ro når man skulle sove. Receptionen var åben hele døgnet og altid behjælpelig med både det ene og det andet.

Ho soggiornato in tale struttura dal 2 al 9 giugno. Quindi in un periodo non trafficato. Quindi posso dire che mi è piaciuto molto la vicinanza con Kos Town (ci si può arrivare a piedi). La silenziostà/tranquillità della struttura. Personale molto cordiale e discreto. Facilità di parcheggio di fronte all'hotel. Ottima la piscina aperta praticamente sempre (addirittura ho visto gente che faceva il bagno di sera). Noi avevamo la stanza con il balcone superior e devo dire che ne valeva la pena. Ottima vista e fare la cena in balcone devo dire che era proprio piacevole (portatevi lo spry anti zanzare!!).
Colazione molto buona dalle 8:00 alle 9.30. Non ce vastissima scelta, ma l'essenziale per fare una buona colazione c'è, molto gradito il fatto che viene spesso rifornita.

Dentro la stanza c'è tutto l'indispensabile.
Unica pecca che mi ha un po' deluso (però va detto che vale quasi per tutti i locali in Grecia). Il dover buttare la carta igienica sporca dentro un cestino. Lavandino molto scomodo.
Per il resto posso sicuramente consigliare questa struttura mi sono trovato molto bene!

Consigliato 4.5 stelle su 5!!

Noi ci siamo trovati molto bene: personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile, camera spaziosa con un bel terrazzo e pulita.
È un po' fuori dal centro, una quindicina di minuti a piedi, silenzioso. L'area piscina è carina.

War das zweite Mal dort und werde, sollte ich nach Kos fliegen wieder dorthin gehen. Sauber - freundlich - persönlich - bemüht alles richtig zu machen. Sollte jemand den Luxus eines 5-Sterne-Hotels benötigen, passt er aber eher nicht zu Leonidas.

Utroligt hjælpsomt personale, og fine rene værelser. Det var en lidt lang gåtur ind til centrum af byen, så derfor var det rigtigt dejligt at man kunne købe noget at spise og drikke på hotellet. Det kan varmt anbefales at låne cykler på hotellet, det fungerer rigtig godt, og til en rimelig pris.

Trevligt hotell för prisklassen, trevlig personal. Vi trivdes, en bit utanför Kos stad hyr cykel eller promenera. Stränderna i Kos stad var inte de bästa men ta lokalbussarna och se ön.

Een zeer matig hotel dat niet meer dan 2 sterren waard is. Een zeer eenzijdig en matig ontbijt dat elke ochtend hetzelfde is. Een briefje op bed dat we de lakens schoon moesten houden want dat ze niet elke dag de bedden verschonen.
Harde bedden, sobere inrichting.

Avevamo un monolocale con balcone. Essenziale ma in fondo non mancava nulla. La doccia la cosa più scomoda. E anche le pulizie che praticamente non sono mai state fatte seriamente. Ogni tantonpassavano a cambiare asciugamani. Il personale molto gentile.Posizione decentrata ma tranquilla. E se si viola camminare un po' si arriva in centro anche a piedi. Mucche al.pascolo nel prato davanti alla.finestra ma ce ne sono in tutta l'isola :)
