Location is great, and room with balcony overlooking the harbour is highly recommended. Staff very professional and hotel is good value for money.
Rooms are spotless, with good shower, bed and tea/coffee facilites with mini fridge. TV has extensive channels in case you get rained in!! (which is rare)

Cleaning was excellent. I particularly liked that I could fill in check in forms before my arrival. So check in at the hotel was quick and easy.

We paid for a breakfast at the hotel and the cooked breakfast could have been better. Maybe tomatoes and mushrooms? But it was adequate.

Kosta Palace is conveniently located at the west end of Kos town and close to great restaurants and shopping and right on the harbour. The rooftop pool and sun beds are a relaxing place to spend a lazy afternoon with drinks and snacks. The staff are helpful and the rooms comfortable and well equipped if not modern. The terrace is a good place to watch the harbour, dock and road traffic go by. Very comfrtoavle and relaxing.

Brilliant hotel in a great spot in Kos Town. Easy to walk everywhere and 5 min walk to the beach. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Lovely bar area for a drink at night and staff friendly. Would highly recommend and will book again!

This was my third time staying at the hotel. My first two times were impeccable. Five stars, this time the room I was given was S4. The room was not up to par with the hotel I have been accustomed to.
1-the WiFi in the room was not working the entire time
2-the tv was not working at all and every channel had static
3-I was told the room was a complimentary upgrade but it was VERY dated and should not be used for your guests
4-the room smelled of mildew
5-no hot water from the bathroom and kitchen sink
6-housekeeping finally showed up at 4:15pm when I came back to the room. I asked them to leave the room as is since I was already back in the room
7-day of check out, housekeeping walked into the room without knocking on the door. I was getting ready to leave the hotel and asked them to come back after I checked out.
8-toaster oven provided was out of order. The baking tray would not stay up while it was in use.

I spoke with the front desk night these issues during my stay and expressed my disappointment.
I also work at a hotel in New York and these are not the standards we strive for. I’m very disappointed with my trip this year at Kosta Palace Hotel.

We always stay at the Kostas palace when we are in Kos town. It is a fantastic location overlooking the harbour with restaurants close by. Staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble

We stayed at Kosta Palace onen night to prepare for our sailing yacht, and we chose it beecause of it’s proximity to the yacht slip. The location is excellent as it is at the end of the port away from the noise of the many more centrally located restaurants and shops. It has a nice patio for enjoying al fresco coffee or food. The staff are incredibly courteous. In fairness, we selected the least expensive room they had, and although freshly painted and clean, it was, as expected, rather spartan. The hardware in the bathrooms is extremely worn and in some cases (the sink) really isn’t functional. We saw some of the larger rooms that were beeing cleaned and they were, indeed larger and looked in better repair but we did not inspect the bathrooms. Bottom line: If you need a flop house, this is a great hotel and the smaller least expensive rooms serve the purpose. Larger and better appointed rooms likely will suffice for those needing nicer accommodations.

We have been going to Kosta Palace in Kos for 10 years and every year we have a great time. It's a very clean hotel, conveniently located, very helpful and friendly staff. Their breakfast is priced very reasonably and has a great variety of food, drinks, fruits and deserts. The pool on the roof is great with great views and snack bar. Thank you for the hospitality. See you next year!!

My husband and I have visited Greece for the last 30 years and stayed at Kosta Palace hotel in Kos for the last 10 yrs. The hotel is clean, offers a great breakfast and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. It's located conveniently near ferries, restaurants and shopping. We'll be back next year/2025.

Check in was miserable. A lot of people has checked out; but it took more than 3 hours to clean and prepare the rooms. They could have checked in new customers gradually as cleaning some of the rooms are getting complete.

When entering the property it’s all shiny nice!!
But when we were taken to our room, it was out the back, I’m in a wheelchair but we had to contend with stairs, sorry but not good enough. The young lad that helped with the suit cases was fantastic, his name was Dimitri, he couldn’t do enough for us.
The room needs a full update. We also had a leak from above but were not offered another room.

Kosta Palace is a wonderful place to stay in Kos. The location is ideal - directly on the harbor with easy access to excursions, short walk to the beach, old town, and any type of restaurant you’re looking for. We had a fabulous week here!

From checkin to checkout our whole stay at the Kosta Palace Hotel was amazing. Friendly helpful staff, clean comfy rooms with great views of Kos Port. Breakfast had a lot of choose with local options. Then when the weather got to hot you could cool down with a drink and swim in the rooftop pool and bar.

Received a very good welcome from reception. Staff very helpful & we were very lucky to purchase an upgrade to a Panoramic room for the final 2 nights of our stay. The views of the harbour from this hotel are wonderful and the breakfast is outstanding.The area around the hotel is perfect for walking or biking, we would definately choose this hotel again and we would highly recommend it.

Had a 10 day stay here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Rooms starting to look a little tired but nevertheless adequate. Lovely buffet breakfast. View from the bar/cafe and pool on the roof is fantastic. Very close to bars, shops, restaurants but far enough away for it to be very tranquil.

The property was clean but not to a high standard, the air-conditioning through our whole stay was terrible and did not cool down the room. The bathroom had a terrible smell to it, we stayed in a business suite and there was no iron or ironing board and when we asked for an iron they supplied one but advised they had no ironing board. When we asked for towels, they were quite funny about giving extra towels and also had no extra pillows when we asked for 2 more as they only supplied 1 each. Our bed was super hard and uncomfortable.
The place was central and in a great location but I wouldnt stay here again. I would opt to stay further out and hire a buggy to head into town if I were to come again.

Certainly not a 4 star more like 2. The sheets and towels were clean but the hotel has cheap furniture and smelly bathrooms and rooms, no toiletries just a 2/1 soap bolted to the wall . Cheap furniture and accessories , no access to outlets . If you stay here get at least the harbor view room . Overall I think they are trying but definitely not there .

The room was clean, the hotel is located right beside the port so is easy walking distance to everything, nice rooftop deck with a bar. Only very minor challenge is that there was a lack of outlets in the room so if you need to charge multiple devices simultaneously that may be an issue. This wasn’t really an issue for me and I would stay here again

Very good hotel, which I definitely recommend. Excellent location, spotlessly clean, and the staff -- everyone -- were lovely and efficient.
Even the cheerful housekeeper spoke English, and left animal sculptures made from our towels, on our bed! Generous breakfast buffet, including make-your-own authentic Greek coffee. I was impressed that the hotel participates in a plastics recycling effort; one leaves all the little shampoo tubes, etc. aside and the housekeeper disposes of them properly. Bike rental was a breeze: the front desk phoned for us to be picked up and taken to the bike shop, and at the end of our stay we simply parked the bikes at the hotel and left the keys at the desk. Absolutely nothing was difficult -- Kos proved to be a wonderful place for a holiday!

This review is written by two couples the wrong side of 53. There seems to be two parts to this hotel, the first part in the front of the hotel and the room numbers seem not to have a letter in front of them is a better part. We stayed in c217 and c213. These were very large one bed apartments. a large spiral stair case leads to open walkways to your door much like flats in the uk, lift only in the front part of hotel. the hotel is no more than 4 storeys high at any point. There are two large sofa beds in the lounge dinner not great to sit on as they are more bed than sofa in my opinion. A small table with 4 chairs a sink and small kitchen. Two electric hobs a fridge and a small electric oven about the size of a micro wave. You could cook in here but it is I would not want to cook for more than a couple/small family. Ok for snacks. A family sized bathroom with bath /shower and a frosted glass door, unusual. The main bedroom was large, double wardrobe but for such a large apartment only hanging space for two, balcony small but enough to sit on for two. Air con in both rooms and good. Tv no signal, not a problem for us and I did not ask the hotel to fix. I did ask for extra hangers which arrived promptly. It is the detail that let this apartment down it felt a little tired but it is 3* maid service was good. roof top pool bar and snack also good great view of harbour.

Location fantastic, best of all worlds, beach,shops &town all easy to walk to and peace and quiet as well.

The rooms were really spacious, showers were amazing if you like a strong shower and free air conditioning. The roof top bar, seating area and pool were amazing, the views, beautiful. The problem i had was that when i booked it said let them know if youwould be late checkkng in and if you wanted late check out. I did that. Come the day, the hotel said i had to tell them directly about late check out, not through the booking company and i had to pay another 30 euros for 6 hours! Both the receptionist and the manager were very 'off' when i spoke to them. They had my request on the computer and said it didnt matter. My family live in Kos and they said it was a con. Also, my room was left wide open when the hotel had new wardrobes fitted and all my valuables and clothes were on show for anyone to take. Not impressed. I wont go back to kosta palace.

Great staff and a great view! The hotel lobby was clean and modern, the view from the harbour room was absolutely stunning, and the hotel staff was very friendly. The room itself is dated and the bathroom was musty, but for the price it was a great stay.
