This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful position right by the sea. The rooms, which are clean, comfortable and very peaceful, all have a large balcony with stunning views out over the sea. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide range of food - cooked breakfast, cheeses, meats, breads, pastries, yogurts, jams, nuts, dates, dried fruits and so on. The staff are efficient and very pleasant. The location is excellent and it is easy to walk to all of the local sights and restaurants. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby for small purchases. The central bus stop is right near the hotel but we found it very difficult to use as the kiosk was always unmanned! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Kos.

Truly disappointing in many ways

To say that our stay here was disappointing is an understatement. We were looking for other hotels on our first night of arrival, but due to seasonality, we couldn't get anything last minute.

After falsely advertising a pool which is in it's 'sister' hotel (that was closed for refurbishment), I was informed I could swim in the sea.

The music from the bar/restaurant will keep you up until 1am. We heard 4 other couple complaining about it in reception. The speakers from the bar are in the roof and if you're anywhere near this side on the first or second floor, you'll feel like you're in a club. We asked to move room and were told that we'd have to wait an extra day to move. It was off season and the hotel was super quiet, so we had two sleepless nights.

The gym in itself needs a visit from health and safety. It was a death trap with wires everywhere and only able to be used at certain times because a nail technician uses the space. Not sure why she can't use one of the deafening rooms that they allow guests to sleep in above the blaring music from the restaurant.

The receptionists were extremely rude and unaccommodating in every aspect. Customer service is non existent.

Breakfast buffet is poor quality food with unappetizing options. We ate elsewhere.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel is beautiful and kept very clean. The views from the room are breathtaking and you have the option to have your room cleaned every day. The breakfast is lovely and the staff are very welcoming and polite. Our flight was cancelled and we arrived a day late and the hotel was very accommodating.

The only downside is the walls are quite thin; reception had to telephone the room next to ours to ask them to turn the TV down. This was a very small blip in an otherwise enjoyable stay!

The hotel was in a great position, right on the water, where you could just walk out for a swim. It was close to all attractions as well as right in the centre for shopping and restaurants. It’s own restaurant/ bar H2O was also on the water edge and was a meeting place for locals because of its position. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
The only problem was the shower, as the screen did not stop the water from going everywhere..
We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is amazing! The check in was smooth, and we were treated like we were VIP's. The view from the balcony was wonderful, the H2O bar was nice, and the breakfast was great! The bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked, but we slept well! We will definitely stay again!

Very good hotel in a good location

We very much enjoyed our stay here. There is no proper beach, just a small strip of sand. Guests can sunbathe on a deck and swim in the sea. There is also a very small pool. The dining area extends right up to the shore line, with superb views.
Breakfast was fine with good choices. We only took an evening meal once as the menu was not really to our taste. But the restaurant was very popular most evenings.
We had a junior suite on floor 3 which had everything we needed. A little noisy from the restaurant and the sea below when the balcony door was open, but, when closed effectively blocking the noise.
There are a few tavernas very close (and a very popular Ice cream parlour and cake shop)
Kos town centre is 15 minutes away, with dozens or bars and restaurants.(If you like Italian food try \"Casa Dell Pasta\" in Bouboulinas Str. Or for a very friendly welcoming Greek Kostas Grill House in Ant.Ioannidi.

Amazing location with fantastic sea views

Fab hotel with lovely staff, all very helpful. The breakfast buffet is awesome and the attached restaurant brilliant for supper or a nightcap. There is the added bonus of a pharmacy, atm and ice-cream and bakery downstairs. Only a 3min walk to the main harbour of restaurants, bars and shops! Can’t wait to go back!

Average hotel - beautiful view

Amazing, beautiful view from balcony. Cleaning and breakfast are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very loud - every door closing, people talking in the hallway or taking the stairs can be heard. The place lacks any personality and the pillows are rock hard - probably the worst pillows I’ve ever slept on. Breakfast is average fancy hotel continental. The hotel is also very Heavy on cigarette smoke - even in the rooms. Except the balcony which is amazing - this hotel is Nothing special and not arty - I would recommend a place with more Greek hospitality and personality. Other places we’ve stayed have been more enjoyable and a better deal for the price.

Hi, the stay was very pleasant. We were very satisfied. The breakfast was excellent and the staff in the restaurant very helpful .
The only thing we didn't like was , we called 1 day earlier the arrival the hotel to ask , if it is possible to rent e-bike in the city. By the arrival no message and the other colleague at the reception said immediately no possible, everything is closed. Next day we tried to get it by ourselves and we managed it without big problems.
But all over we were very satisfied.

Superb sea view

Absolutely loved our week long stay here, the view out to sea was awesome, to just sit, watch and listen to the sea, was really relaxing, day or night. I would never tire of that view. I forgot to ask for a double bed when booking, but the twin beds we had were very comfy, and we slept really well. The hotel staff were very helpful & friendly, the smiley lady who cleaned our room every day was lovely. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful, and it was lovely to sit right next to the sea to eat it. The hotel is in a great position, literally on the edge of town, an easy stroll into the centre. Would definitely stay here again, we loved it.

Attention to service and warm welcome

Clean, modern, simple. One of the most alert and attentive hotels I have ever stayed in and I will use it again. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful and it was a high standard throughout. Excellent value and great location. Raphaela in reception was efficient and very attentive to details but the true secret is that everyone is on their toes for you to ensure a pleasant stay. I stay all over the world in much more expensive yet less well managed places. This is my version of a rave review. A swimming dock or plank to enter the sea over the pebbles would be a nice additional luxury. Otherwise I cannot criticise a single thing. Well done - this is exceptionally hard to achieve.

Fantastic hotel, perfect view

This is a very nice hotel, highly recommended. The staff are warm, friendly, helpful and courteous, and really make you feel very welcome - all the staff, not just the receptionists. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want somewhere near the town centre but not too noisy with fantastic views, unparalled by other Kos town hotels (as far as I could tell from the photos!). The room itself was lovely also: decent size, comfy bed, good wardrobe space, excellent lighting, an electronic safe, spare pillows, spare quilts, slippers, dressing gowns, really everything you need. The only 2 things that stop me giving this hotel a near perfect review are the light that seeps in under the door, and the fact our shower leaked a little. But both problems were easily solved with a well placed towel, and shouldnt put anyone off staying here! Highly recommended

A fabulous hotel with great staff

We were visiting Kos for a wedding and booked the Kos Aktis for 5 nights staying in a junior suite. The hotel was perfect for our needs and the staff were exceptional in helping us with taxis and restaurant recommendations.

We used the sister hotel for the pool and the staff were equally as good.

A haven of tranquility

Visited Kos for the first time in September and we were totally captivated by the island, Kos Town itself and above all the hotel. It could not be in a better location. Close to the town with shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep but yet the back of the hotel is so peaceful and the view from the balcony was amazing. We liked the fact that it was a small hotel. The lift was very small and fairly slow so apart from when we arrived with suitcases we used the stairs all the time, as we were only on the second floor (there are three altogether). We found our room to be spacious and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were a bonus as you dont normally get them abroad. The only issue we had was that the lights were a bit hit and miss, if the key card wasnt in the slot precisely everything went off, it was very sensitive. Bed was big and comfy and although plenty of pillows were provided some were as hard as rocks. Breakfast was great and considering the timescale 7 to 11 everything was replenished and freshly cooked (ie eggs and bacon). It was a joy to sit outside for breakfast and enjoy the superb view. We ate evening meal one night at the hotel as we had read the good reviews. We booked a table in advance as we had noticed from our balcony that the restaurant was very full in the evening. We werent disappointed it was a lovely meal but the rest of the week we sampled the local restaurants.

Bedroom balcony overlooking the sea was a highlight. Great breakfast and dining location. Much appreciated the 1 hour extension (on request) for checkout.

Great Hotel

This hotel was great! The location is very good, a walking distance away from the cafes and downtown Kos. The personnel were very friendly and welcoming. The view from the rooms is amazing. Would definitely visit this hotel again.
