The staff at check-in were very kind and helpful. On the first day, I was given an “upgraded” room, but since it had one large and one small bed, there wasn’t much space to move around not ideal for a five-night stay. The next day, they changed it to a regular room on an upper floor, which was much better.

The minibar wasn’t cooling, but I didn’t really need it, so I mentioned it at check-out. The location is very central, the pool area is nice and never crowded, and the breakfast was lovely. The lady making omelettes had such positive energy!

However, there was no filter coffee available at breakfast or at the bar , only machine coffee.( It is a bit dissapointing I have to say ) Overall, though, it’s a nice hotel with good value for money. During check-out, staff could maybe be a bit more engaging (for example, asking how the stay was ), but everything else was great!

We came from Datca by Ferryboat, hotel was within walking distance from port, easy to get to with suitcases without the need to get a taxi which is a great benefit. Hotel were very accommodating by letting us check in early, check in was friendly and we were shown to our rooms and around the hotel in person. Breakfast was lovely, pool was fab, fridge in room and good hair dryer. Room was clean and hotel was good value for money. We will definitely be coming back when visiting Bodrum.

had a fantastic stay at the Costa Maya Hotel. The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day. The pool was clean and relaxing—perfect for cooling off and unwinding.

Special thanks to Gina, who really made my experience memorable with her warm and attentive service. She also helped arrange a boat tour that ended up being a real highlight of the trip—super enjoyable and very affordable.

I also enjoyed a few cocktails during my stay—they were well made and added to the relaxing vibe. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Costa Maya!

it was terrible it had dirt all over and staff was so bad they weren’t cooperating with us. The picture on the website were completely different so we asked them to give us a refund but they didn’t so we just had to leave like that just because the room was dirty, the hallways were so narrow, rooms were so small that we couldn’t even open our suitcases

We chose Costa Maya largely because of the pictures of the pool on the website, and it was everything we hoped for. The hotel is located on a small lane, which is typical of the streets in Bodrum, a short level walk to the waterfront. At the entrance there is a modest size parking lot and the check in was very efficient. We reserved a 3 bed room to get a bit more space as the rooms are tight like most European hotels. The room had a modest hall closet but little other storage for our clothes. It could have used a dresser as we stayed for 5 nights and wanted to unpack. The beds were very comfortable, the washroom was functional, and the air conditioning worked very well. The pool area was terrific. The water was refreshing without being frigid, there were sufficient loungers on the pool deck, and a bar serving drinks and light meals. The hotel is very well located, a short walk to the waterfront and a host of restaurants. We would definitely stay again. (four stars simply because clothes storage in the room was tight)

Stayed for 6 nights with elderly mother, 14 year old daughter and 16 year old niece.
Central, but away from main bars so very peaceful at night.
On marina side of castle.
5 minute walk down to harbour front, close enough to everything.
A nicely-sized, well-appointed, low-pressure hotel. Excellent for our multigenerational family group of 4. Also ideal for a quiet couple’s getaway or a single traveller wishing to relax.
Not the place for boisterous partying.
Breakfast:Served 8-10 Buffet style. Excellent. Eggs cooked to order.
Staff: Friendly, inobtrusive, courteous and well-dressed.
Room: Spacious, spotless
Pool: Generous size. Clean. Not too crowded. Fresh pool towels daily. Small shaded cabana and another lounging area allowed family groups to sit together.
Bar: Convenient for lunchtime, poolside snacking. Tab was tallied at the end of week. A few cats on the property - as per Bodrum. Not a nuisance and very much at home.

I read the other reviews before booking and feel that some of them are over-critical. There are a few specific complaints about the hotel feeling a bit tired and in need of refreshing. I disagree. Also about breakfast choices being limited but for the price I see little room for complaint.
On arrival we used the Airport - Hotel Transfer arranged by the hotel. Cost was 75 Euros payable only in cash at the reception on arrival.
For our return- I booked online - paid 48 Euros for identical luxury service @ Welcome Pickups - a recommended alternative.

This property is very convenient to the harbour and the promenade. The property has a nice breakfast and the pool area.
Things that concerns us is that our room was old and tired. Much in need of an update.
We stayed for 2 nights and the days were extremely hot and planned to enjoy the pool once the sun passed. We were informed the pool is closed at 7pm. Terrible rule! We never did use the pool as we were out and about during the day. Wifi on the property exists but don’t expect any speed or usefulness. I needed to book some flights and this was impossible. Connection dropped continually and worse in the room.

Wi-Fi didn’t work properly so if you are traveling on business, you would struggle.

What a lovely place and the staff were top notch.
On arrival we realised we had booked a twin room and wanted a double bed - they were quick to change our rooms and accommodate us.

Property is set back from main road in Bodrum - very accessible - local excursions can pick you up from property at 6am.

Swimming pool very clean - beaches are 10
Mins walk away. Def recommend Thai place to anyone wanting to visit Bodrum on a budget.

Excellent comms from reception prior to arrival. We arrived early but the hotel found a clean room and let us check in early. The room was a little small for 3 but ok for one night. The pool and bar were very good, no spare loungers but it was late afternoon. Breakfast was a very Turkish affair which didn’t suit my wife and daughter, but it was all fresh.
A taxi was organised for our departure, they also found garments we’d left in the room and gave them too us.
A special mention to a very bright team including the young lady on reception, barman and young lady at the bar, excellent, excellent.

We spent a wonderful week in Costa Maya and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were all very helpful and kind, the pool area wonderful. The breakfast got a bit repetitive after a few days but it was nice enough. The hotel also provided bottled water daily in the room. The room was comfortable however we had issues with the fridge- it was very quickly replaced but it still didnt work. It wasnt a huge deal for us though. The location is the best- very close to the marina and lots of bars and restaurants in the area.

Nice but not to relax in!

Clean, modern but small and noisy. I had a room with a double bed and a single bed in it, which was too cramped for three people. The pool area was nice but too noisy with the hotel music blaring out. Why do they think it’s a good thing? Overall, a nice modern, clean hotel but don’t go if you want a spacious room or to chill be the pool. Hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from the marina.

This is our second time at the hotel. The staff are very invested in making sure you have a good stay. Breakfast is really great- lots of fresh selections- and the pool area was surprisingly sunny, even in April. Fiquei hospedada de quinta a domingo e não teve limpeza do quarto nem dos banheiros. Eu estava sozinha em um quarto e quatro homens entraram para trocar a televisão por uma nova sem me avisarem antes sobre a troca, emtraram sem bater. No café da manhã servem um suco artificial impossível de saber o sabor. A localização e a área da piscina são os pontos bons.

Incredible good service. I mentioned that my wife & I were celibrating our 20th anniversary. To our surprise, the hotel decorated our room with ballons (heart shaped), botte of wine in a cooler and a plate of fresh fruuts etc. Throughout our stay, the service was outstanding. Thanks again!

Beklentilerimizin Altında Kaldı

Otelde 3 gece kaldık ama maalesef beklentilerimizi karşılamadı. Fotoğraflarla otelin gerçek hali çok farklıydı. Konumu merkezi ve otopark imkânı avantajdı. Havuz büyüktü ve güzeldi.

Oda yeterince temiz değildi, buzdolabı kirliydi. Sadece çift kişilik yatak istememize rağmen küçük odaya fazladan tek kişilik yatak da konmuştu. Oda çok sıkışıktı.

Personel güler yüzlüydü ama fazlası yoktu. Kahvaltının çeşitliliği fena değildi, ancak ürünlerin kalitesi çok düşüktü. Karton bardakta içecek verilmesi otel değil piknik havası veriyordu.

Genel olarak memnun kalmadık.

Odamiza girdigimizde carsaflarin ve yastik kiliflarinin kirli oldugunu gorduk. Ayni sekilde havlular da kirliydi. La struttura è carina e abbastanza centrale. La colazione è scarsa nella scelta, la stanza della colazione è perennemente invasa da fumo e odore di bruciacchiato ed è impossibili starci. C'è la possibilità di mangiare fuori, ma anche solo il tempo di prendere il cibo è fastidioso. Credo dovrebbero fare qualcosa per la cappa sopra la piastra dove venivano cotte le omelette. Il personale gentilmente ci ha risolto un problema dato dal sistema mal funzionante di Hotels.com (che in 4 ci aveva venduto una tripla), dandoci una camera più grande con l'integrazione di un sovrapprezzo.Il problema è stato che ci è stato chiesto di pagare IMMEDIATAMENTE la differenza, nonostante fossimo appena entrati in camera dopo un lungo viaggio e nonostante stessimo 4 notti.Questo non mi è piaciuto, avremmo pagato anche mezz'ora dopo,ma sembrava urgente da non dare neanche il tempo di lavarsi le mani.
