This is the second time I have stayed here whilst visiting the Gallipoli battlefields. it is very convenient, relatively cheap and close to many restaurants, small markets and the ferry to Çanakkale. A good buffet breakfast is provided. Unfortunately not all the staff speak English however the owner Paul is frequently around to assist with any questions. There is limited on street parking to the rear of the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift and senses controlling lighting in the stairwell don't always work in the rooms at the front of the hotel are very small, compared with those at the side and rear of the hotel. All up though good value for money and very convenient. Also be aware that the crowded house tourist agency is not connected to the hotel any longer.

very noisy, very small room.Dangerous electrics in bathroom ,very dated/tired hotel. Needs updating. Receptionists need to go to a charm school. No interaction with guests. Breakfast poor, half of it looked as though it was left over from the previous morning.. 1 electric socket in room with a multiple socket plugged into it. Again dangerous. Would not stay here again. Appalling.

Friendly, clean, centrally located Eceabat hotel.

We stayed at the Crowded House because we were touring the Gallipoli battlefields.
The hotel is centrally located, clean with comfy beds and good showers. The breakfast was superb. It was buffet style and there was a large choice of delicious things to eat.
The staff there are friendly and helpful and the owner, Polat couldn't do enough to help us with anything we wanted. (He also always made sure there was a parking space for us !)
The hotel is centrally located right opposite the ferry to Channakale and there are lots of restaurants and little shops in the vicinity.
When staying in Eceabat I wouldn’t stay anywhere else (and I’ll return.)

We were impressed by the state & comfort of our rooms, the location, & the assistance when needed. Eceabat's honouring to the 1915 battle, & taking a ferry to closeby Canukkale made it a worthwhile stop. Pollard (?)/Paul went the extra for our travel plans, stored our luggage, & allowed us to wait until a midnight bus to leave. The lady making breakfast was lovely also. Cannot say enough about how good our stop was & would welcome a return to the Crowded House.

Comfortable hotel near ANZAC sites

We had two nights at Crowded House which fitted perfectly with our tour of the ANZAC sites. The hotel is comfortable and located just metres off the main square where the buses stop and the ferry to/from Canakkale docks.
Pauli and his staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable with basic furnishings. The buffet breakfast is great. Crowded house suited our stay very well, thank you.

Great hotel for quick stop.

Stayed two nights while checking out the Gallipoli Peninsula. Great location, a 20 minute ferry ride away from Canakkule for a great selection of restaurants, huge selection for breakfast, room was just right for what we needed. There are several restaurants within walking distance also.

Convenient for touring local sites.

Convenient location for exploring nearby sites of Gallipoli (not much to do in the town itself). Staff were helpful in organising a tour for us. Small but comfortable room. Good shower pressure. If you want a decent breakfast, be there first thing as even half an hour into it, there is not much choice. They don't seem to replenish the plates. If you're happy with just cornflakes and scraps then it won't bother you.

The staff were mostly excellent, super helpful with bus transfers and tours. Laundry cost 15TL for a large bag. Wifi connection was ok, but not excellent. Corridors and rooms were stinking hot, but the aircon worked perfect. Overall, very happy with the experience!

this is a super friendly place right in the middle of town. We happend to get there right before Anzac day festivities and the hotel had news crews from abroad and we enjoyed the international flair.

Hotel room was small but clean & had air con. Taking our dogs there was no problem & our reception very smoothly handled by a very friendly & polite staff member. Town was a bit grotty but the Gallipoli war memorials absolutely awesome & I'd go back there just for that. Didn't eat at the hotel as it was packed but didn't hear any complaints. Ate at a small Turkish restaurant at the end of the street which was cheap & great quality. I was put off when I first arrived but everything was great.

Arrived at Crowded House to find it in a good location for trips to the battlefields. The staff were very helpful. I was not well and the lady at the reception even came to the pharmacy with me to translate. The beds were very, very comfortable and the rooms clean. Good value for money and friendly helpful staff

Surprisingly good

Make no mistake, this is a low cost hotel but one that provides a really good night's accommodation. We drove ourselves from Istanbul, it is easy to find and parking was no problem at all. Our room was clean, the a/c worked, the window opened (bit too hot and smoky outside though) and the breakfast was more than adequate. Wifi was a bit slow but it worked and there was a bus load of young tourists who were no doubt using it pretty heavily. We had a fantastic grilled fish dinner at their outdoor restaurant. Don't go expecting five star (you certainly aren't paying that) and you'll have a pleasant night's stay.

Crowded House - Needs an attitude refresh

This hotel was perfectly adequate for one night for the family to explore the Gallipoli area. Its in a great position just off the main street so restaurants, supermarket etc are available. The room was clean and comfortable.

The only problem we probably had was that although the staff were not awful, it certainly wasn't a welcoming place.

Okay hotel for one night, but very small rooms.

We just needed to stay the night to see Galllipoli the next day. We got in late and the staff helped with our rooms and with parking the car, however, we were awakened the next morning by a phone call from the staff at 7:00 telling us to move the car from the spot he told us to park in! The breakfast was okay, but not great and the rooms were tiny. If you just need a cheap hotel for one night, it is okay and hopefully you want have the same parking problem we did.

Good value in a small town

A good location with friendly staff, in the centre of Eceabit, convenient to local sights. Very easy run from the ferry to the hotel: there is a large sign easily visible. Good area for a walk around at night and plenty of cheap restaurants nearby. Internet could be a bit stronger, but, hey, Eceabit is not downtown Istanbul, but a small town. Much nicer, though, than the large place across the strait.

The hotel was straight in front of us when we got off the ferry from Cankakle, parking was in a side street but ok, The rooms were very tiny but clean and comfortable ok for us for one night, We even had a buffet breakfast which was not advertised on Hotel.com The staff spoke English which helped us.

Odalar genel olarak temiz fakat küçük, özellikle duş çok küçük, buzdolabı minibar tarzında bir dolap mevcut değil. Kahvaltı, konum ve hizmet konusunda iyi olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Fakat Hotels üzerinden rezervasyon yaptık, otelde ödediğimizde o günkü kur ile € ücretin TL karşılığı alınıyor. Bunun değişmesi gerek, Türkiye’de yaşayan kişiler için bu mantıklı bir ödeme şekli değil. 1-2 günlük konaklamalarınız için bu konumu tercih edeceksiniz tavsiye ederim.

Çalışanlar iyi ve sıcak insanlar ancak otel kalitesi olarak kendini üst klasmana taşıması gerekir. Annemle geldigim otelde bize verilen oda çok küçüktü muhtemelen diğer odalar da öyledir. Kahvaltı standart ama bir iki ana ürün eklemesi olabilir. Tuvalet, banyo ve oda genel olarak temizdi ama görüntüler demode. Hotels sitesi üzerinden tutmanızı tavsiye etmiyorum çok büyük komisyon alıyorlar. Çunku ödediğim rakamdan çok daha az ödeyen misafirler vardı.

Guzel lokasyonlu uygun fiyatli temiz bir otel

Otelde 2 gece konakladık. Direkt Eceabat iskelesinin karşısında guzel bir lokasyonda. Gelibolu'yu gezmek istediginizde cok mantikli bir yer. Otelin kahvaltisi iyiydi. Otelin sahiplerinden Musa' nin muhabbeti ve yönlendirmeleri çok iyiydi. Musa gibi Gelibolu'da herkes sicak kanli ve dogal zaten. Temizlik de memnun ediciydi. Tek dezavantaji bizim odamiz biraz ufakti ancak geniş olan baska odalar da vardi. Kisa sireli konakladigimiz için ufak olmasi sorun olmadi.
