The room was clean but the towels were hard and old. This hotel is not 5 star hotel. I had to pay an upgrade cause my first room with the jacuzzi was not good.

The staff is super friendly and helpful no complain about that but the facilities were bad.
The breakfast was not good. Not too many options to eat.

The view from my new room was incredible.

The property says it is 5 star and luxury. It is most definitely NOT that. I was expecting a lovely hotel room with beautiful touches but it was old and had outdated elements the lighting was poor and somethings like the mirrors were chipping and the sheets and bed was uncomfortable.

The view was lovely however and the hot tub nice. As well as the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Also the breakfast was wonderful.

The hotel is really more of 3.5 star (the kindness of the staff tipping the scale).

Overall, my experience was wonderful! The views were breathtaking, the cave hot tub with sea views from the room was incredible. The hotel is actually in the mountain rock and you walk down stairs into the hotel to access reception, the spa, rooms, restaurants, etc. I really enjoyed the spa experience, the massage was excellent! There are not many spas in Santorini. The staff was knowledgeable and helped make the visit memorable. The Greek Wedding show is a must see! Oh and the sunset view from Sunset Bar is amazing and they offer live music. Food is pricey though.

Here’s what I didn’t like. Construction prevented direct access to hotel. So, I had to walk up a steep hill to get there. The bellhop did get my bags. There’s no elevator which means a lot of walking up and down stairs to get to everything on the property. Inside the room the towels were hard and crunchy. The towels exfoliated my skin with each use. The motorized water pump in the hot tub kept stopping causing the maintenance man to come daily. The restaurant’s service was slow and the food was mediocre. Food was double the price too. Food at the little restaurants on the walking path into the villages was way better and cheaper. Also, I couldn’t see the sunset from my room or any spot at the hotel. The sun set to the east, so I had to go next door to the Sunset Bar to see it. Some excursions offered by the hotel is double the price that’s offered online. Do your research before purchasing tickets.

Maria and her staff were amazing. They were there to answer all our questions and gave us ideas of things to do. Our breakfast each morning was exceptional and we loved our talks with John. I would highly recommend this resort. One thing you need to know is there are a lot of stairs. We had 100 from our room up to the walkway where the restaurants and shops were. But well worth the climb!

Beautiful property and view! Staff were amazing and kind. I’m the room, hot tub was cold and didn’t work properly. Too many stairs that were not shown in any pictures. Not over exaggerating but the amount of stairs to get in and out of the hotel room are a lot (over 5 flights of stairs if not more). This is inconvenient for people with asthma, cardiovascular issues, wheel chair accessibilities, or any other medical issues. No elevators. Nothing really nearby. The distance to Fira is 25-30 mins walk. The walk back from Fira is uphill back to the Pegasus. To Oia is 2.5 hr walk. Lots of walking from / to this hotel.

The value for money is a big problem, we stayed in the suite with an infinity pool and have to say it was very overrated. Very small and didn’t have half of what the photos show.

The main pool area of the resort is shocking and very small, the bar is limited, no cold glasses for your beer, and is very pricey.

The breakfast team worked very hard and there is enough choice for breakfast it’s about the only thing I’d recommend eating there. The lunch / dinner menu is limited and the chef (cook) definitely didn’t go to any cookery classes. Terrible food and again overpriced for its quality. Don’t eat there.

I paid £900 a night and I would say it’s true value is £250 tops!!! It’s our third visit to Santorini and we definitely wouldn’t stay at the Pegasus suites ever again.

Cannot say enough good things about this beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. We stayed for 5 nights, we had originally booked a junior suite with jacuzzi but upon arrival were informed that we had been upgraded to a honeymoon suite which just made our stay all the more perfect. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, breakfast was included which was lovely and plenty of options, the property is spotless and our room was perfect, we had a fantastic stay. A short walk to the left from the hotel brings you to some lovely bars and restaurants with a beautiful view and to the right it is about a 15 minute walk down to Fira. Would highly recommend this hotel!

A wonderful place to say, the staff are so attentive and cater for your every need. There was help around whenever you needed. The room and balancing with hot tub was stunning, it’s a shame the weather wasn’t great, I wouldn’t recommend travelling in May to Santorini. Be warned there are steps/ inclines everyyywhere! Take comfy shoes. But can’t fault the breakfast, John was superb. Room & staff were perfect. Lovely family run hotel and only a 10 minute walk to the capital Fira, so a lovely location.

Good location on Santorini, easy walking distances to Fira, shops and restaurants. Incredible and beautiful views from every room. Excellent buffet breakfast and very amenable and friendly staff.
A lot of steps to encounter (no elevators) and Santorini is particularly hilly. Be prepared for walking, although Imerovigli (where Pegasus is located) is the high part of Santorini. Requires moderate fitness if you want to walk around the area.

I paid for the “Deluxe Room” with a city view and was provided a normal “Classic Room” looking into the side street. I did not the upgraded room that I paid the extra money for. Severely disappointed that the hotel front desk attempted to pass of my room as the Deluxe room and even stated it was a “double upgrade”. I asked the bag boy and he confirmed my room was the Classic Room. I understand the hotel was short on rooms.

The hotel a rooms are beautiful, the service is amazing, the views are something else. The only complain I have, and to be honest a big one, is that the room is too big for the little Air condition they have at the living room area. That room needs a least 2. We put the AC at 16 degree C and the temperature at the bedroom area was 26 degree C.

Amazing Views, Great Service, and Decent Rooms

The caldera and sunset views at this hotel are absolutely AMAZING, the staff is very helpful and kind, and the rooms are decent. The hotel makes your stay extra special by providing free wine and special snacks once a day. I was overall very happy with my 3 night stay in early October, and only had a few issues which prevent me from providing a perfect rating (I give this hotel 4 out of 5).

I booked a honeymoon suite with private jacuzzi in early October. The water in the jacuzzi was consistently room temperature and I had to call for service three times to make the water warmer. It didn't really get much warner and was never really the temperature you would expect a jacuzzi to be. Since it was early October and a bit windy, the water felt too cold to enjoy at sunset and after sunset.

From the moment I checked in, I was told that the spa was completely booked for the duration of my stay and I would have to go to Fira if I wanted spa services. This was a disappointment and I would expect hotels to prioritize spa availability for their guests.

The shampoo, conditioner, and blowdryer in the room were of very cheap quality (old school blowdryers similar to what you get in motels in the US).

Finally, there was a stray cat hanging out on the porch of my room which made me uncomfortable while using the jacuzzi, something that is very hard to control in Greece because there are stray cats everywhere but a bit of a disappointment to my overall experience.

I have to be brief in this space, so -- rooms WAY overpriced, our honeymoon suite (144) had an INDOOR plunge pool (who wants to be indoors in the dark in beautiful santorini for $1,000 a night!!!). As a result we could not use it and just used the main pool, total loss, not to mention loss of romance under the stars, etc. My sister in law had a suite (122) and when she checked in it WREAKED of sewage. Hotel tried to blame sulphur (I KNOW sulphur, this was sewage) but still sent someone to aggressively plunge the toilet. Smell never went away. Requested room changes many times, sister in law able to move out of sewage room after three days. We were offered to move for our last night but obviously turned it down. Air conditioning is worthless, rooms are in baking sun during the day and are hotter than outside. Another couple we spoke to who had honeymoon suite had to sleep ON THEIR BALCONY their room was so hot even with air conditioning running 24/7. Front desk staff leaves much to be desired and would regularly guarantee a taxi price only for us to be sandbagged by driver at higher rate, regularly misquoted taxi arrival times, leaving us all over island trying to find our taxi. Property is a 25 minute walk from town. Highlight was the bar service at the pool as Johnny is a rockstar. For a combined $1,400 a night I cannot say I would stay here again, I would try one of the other wonderful properties on the island.

Only downsides : located a bit away from the beaches ; doesn't have direct car access; 5 star hotel but probably 4 star luxury. Overall, wouldn't hesitate to definitely recommend a stay.

The property location is marvellous as it stands somewhere close to the Monastery which is the highest point in the island. The views from the rooms is extraordinary. Nonetheless this makes the property susceptible to the very strong winds that are a common occurrence here. The winds are so strong that it gets difficult to operate effectively and most of the patches to the doors etc get broken frequently due to the wind. Hence there is all sorts of noise in the night which can be discomforting. I also felt that the high wind affects the sewage system and my washroom was smelling badly. In terms of the rooms from inside they are spectacular and have facilities like jacuzzi and private pool inside. However given the weather not sure how useful an open pool actually is. Overall there is scope for improvement given the pricing. However this is not to suggest that this is not a good property these are just few points for improvement.

Overall, our experience at this hotel was below average. During our two week stay in Greece, we stayed at several hotels and this was the only disappointment. Although, the view was spectacular, the service and room were not. Upon checkin, there was no one available to bring our bags to our room and there are no elevators, just hundreds of steps down to the room. When checking out, again we were told that there was no one available to get our luggage at the time needed. The worst part of our stay had to be the room and the lack of hot water. We contacted the hotel staff to request someone to fix the hot water and they claimed there was no hot water on the island available??!?!? How stupid do they think we are to believe that they aren't capable of generating hot water.

Our first trip to Greece and we had the pleasure of spending some days of our holiday in this lovely hotel in Santorini.
Our stay at Pegasus exceeded my already high expectations. We stayed in an lovely suite facing an amazing view to sea and the volcano island. Our first dinner, we had our meal at Pegasus, and the service was top notch. We greatly enjoyed the pool area and spent time there relaxing all day. Another important point to mention is the sunset. From our balcony, we were watching the sunset and it was FANTASTIC!
The Pegasus location is perfect and has great restaurants around, a good example was Aegean restaurant (amazing food and also, they have the best Lava dessert in Santorini - you have to try it) and more options in walking distance in Fira or Firostefani. The quality and efficiency of the service throughout the hotel was of a level I have not experienced ever. The check-in experience, the sincerity and the warmth of the greetings leaving the hotel for the day or coming back, the efficiency of taking orders for breakfast, after dinner drinks, and also the cleaning was unrivalled.
I definitely will miss the Pegasus and I look forward to coming back. In addition, the competence, professionalism (I loved the receptionists / they are brilliant) and sincerity of everyone onsite is most impressive. Every single detail was amazing and making a huge difference during our trip. You have to go to experience this unforgettable experience.

Beautiful sunset view from our room.
We were in the honeymoon suite and it was right above the breakfast area, they offered to bring it up to our balcony when ever we wanted. Vins, John, and Leftaris we the three gentlemen that made our stay fantastic. Each of them worked very hard, asked us on countless occasions if anything could/needed to be done to make our stay better. They also knew my coffee order after the first day!
The housekeepers were amazing they all did a fantastic job of knowing when we would be away from our room to go in. They also brought us a small gift every night around sunset it was the most touching experience.
The reception office would offer chocolates to us every night we arrived back from dinner and were all accommodating. They let us drop our bags off day 1 so we could explore and put them in our rooms when it was ready.
The attention to detail they all portrayed was 10/10
Absolutely would stay here again!

Beautiful location and more peaceful than neighbouring towns that were more touristy. Lovely staff and beautiful view of the surrounding islands. We received small complimentary gifts and presents everyday (drinks, chocolates etc.), a nice additional touch. Pool was really small and gym tiny which was a bit of a disappointment as we like to keep fit (arguably that’s not the main purpose of staying in this type of resort). That said l, perfect for a couple of days.

The hotel location is absolutely amazing. It’s a somewhat smaller property and connects with a few others, so it was a bit confusing the first couple of hours but we had a fantastic room that was right near the restaurant so it was easy to find. The room was clean, spacious and well kept. It’s very minimalist but really you don’t go to Santorini to sit in your hotel room. Our ONLY complaint was that the mattress was like sleeping on a cement slab. I hope that when we return they will have ugraded the mattresses—other than that the room was perfect.

The staff was the highlight after the view. They were the kindest, most attentive people. The island people in general were all awesome, but this hotel stands out as 5 stars for it’s staff. John is an incredibly kind and accommodating person, and took a very long time to chat with us. I don’t remember everyone’s name, but we look forward to, and hope that we see each and every one of them again when we are back next year. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, warm and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again, and hopefully longer!!

I really enjoyed my stay in honey moon sweet room. Room was very clean and well equipped (toots brush, shaving sets, bathrobes, fridge with beverages...etc.)
Beautiful views! Beautiful sunset! Friendly stuff!
Also, they give you little gift on your check out day.
Only breakfast could be a little improved. I think adding a chief station with omelets or waffles would make it perfect :)

Amazing hotel in the middle of gorgeous Imerovigli

This was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. The sheer beauty that this place offers isn't really comparable to anywhere else in the world. The staff was extremely friendly towards us and was always trying to make our experience even better than it already was. I would absolutely go back there. From the warm reception with a glass of champagne for my wife and I, to ordering a tax for us at any hour of the night, delivering breakfast early for us due to a early morning flight, and trying to speak Greek with one another, the Pegasus Suites and Spa is a place I will not be forgetting anytime soon

This place is a hidden gem in my opinion. The service and views are spectacular. All of the employees worked so hard to make our stay wonderful. There were many extra touches that they added to things to go above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Santorini. Yes as some of the reviews stated there are some steps, but that is the case with any of the cliff side locations that have the best views.

The location was superb! This property was clean and beautiful!
The service is exceptional and John, Lefteris, Vins and Yiannis in food and beverage are outstanding.

Lens in receipts on took care of every need we had.

It was my birthday and they surprised me with an entire mousse cake and champagne! Fabulous management!

10th Wedding Anniversary

We visited Pegasus for our 10th wedding anniversary at the end of June and cannot speak highly enough about this hotel.

Firstly, the location is truly stunning with unbelievable views out over the volcano. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the caldera edge and has no other hotels or apartments above or below it, unlike much of the rest of the local area. It is also nicely out of the busier parts of the area (Thira) but close enough that you can walk there if you like.

We had a junior jetted suite which meant we had a jacuzzi overlooking the amazing view along with a spacious room and lovely bathroom. We also had our own private sun bathing area above our room which was a nice addition. On arrival there was a bottle of wine in the room for us as a gift as well which was a lovely touch.

The room was serviced every day and each day a lovely treat was delivered along with the next day's weather forecast. All of these little extra touches really made a difference to the trip.

However, what really made the holiday special was the staff. Each and everyone we spoke to was friendly, professional and focused on ensuring our stay was fantastic. This included the reception staff who helped us to move our sailing trip with no fuss and John who was always on hand at breakfast to ensure we were happy with our stay.

We had a couples massage in the spa at the hotel during our stay as well and this was a very relaxing hour and we would definitely recommend.

Outdated hotel, staff not the best

For the price you pay for this hotel you’d really expect a wonderful experience all around. Our room was very outdated/smelled like mildew. The staff was also hit or miss. Some people were nice, others were abrasive and rude. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a luxury experience.

Probably the best situated hotel in Santorini.

Friendly, family run hotel. Beautiful rooms ideally situated overlooking the caldera. Perfect for viewing sunsets every night and an ideal base to explore the island but nicely out of the way of the busy tourist areas. It is 15 minutes walk from Fira and buses are available from Fira to every part of the island. All parts of the hotel are clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious with lots of hot and cold food of every description. The staff, friendly and helpful as ever, offered to serve us even though it was a buffet. Reception staff would happily do everything possible to be helpful and make our stay more memorable. The hotel can organise airport transfers if contacted before arrival.

Wonderful experience and best view

The entire staff provided us with the best experience taking care of our airport transportation, recommending places to go, booking our sunset cruise and cabs, and responding immediately to any of our needs and concerns. They went above and beyond with a welcome and goodbye treat and even made sure to provide us with special accommodations for breakfast due to our early flight out. The pool has the most beautiful view of the caldera and sunset. I would definitely come back to stay here again.

We were at Pegasus for 3 nights and had he best time. The staff was incredibly helpful and incredibly nice. Our room was very comfortable and had wonderful views. The hotel is very near wonderful restaurants and you can't eat the location. We can't wait to go back!

Unbelievable stay, couldn't fault the whole experience. Staff were friendly and very accommodating , room was amazing and spacious. We spent a week here and enjoyed every moment, good walking distance to a few good restaurant and central location for taxis/transfers to most activities. Will recommend and if in Santorini again we will definitely stay again.

Honeymoon/ best trip of our lives

From check in to check out we were astounded at the service from reception, to cleaning staff, to restaurant and bar staff. We had such an amazing time and the rooms were gorgeous with stunning views. We stayed 10 days in 3 different rooms (due to our own booking issues) but we were also upgraded to and incredible suite with an indoor pool just for the two of us. We would recommend this hotel to ANYONE. It far exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to return.

Fantastic location in between the capital Fira and the romantic and famous town of Oia. Next door to the best restaurant in Santorini (La Mason). Stunning sun set views. The resort itself was spectacular! Breakfast was very generous with loads of options. Spotless! The staff couldn't be more helpful! Recommend to anyone and already have! Picture perfect!

Great place in a great location

Went all over Santorini during my stay, and Imerovigli (\"town\" where this hotel is located) is the only place I would ever stay in the future. Centrally located and not the mess of traffic of Oia. Hotel was clean and the breakfast and pool very nice. Note that like pretty much everywhere in Santorini, it is not ADA friendly with dozens of stairs up and down to get to room, lobby, bar, pool, restaurant. There was no need for a gym (though it had one) as you got all the exercise you needed on the stairs! Would definitely book it again.

Amazing hotel with views and friendly staff

The hotel is situated on the cliffs overlooking the Agean and the Volcano; very romantic and private. We had an infinity pool room which made the view even more spectacular. The room was very well appointed and clean, with a nice bathroom equipped with rainfall showerhead that was heavenly. It is located in Imerovigli, just north of Fira, which makes walking to Fira easy (about 20 min) and is quieter and more serene than being closer to either Fira or Oia. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a wonderful experience of Santorini. One thing to be aware of is the number of steps required to navigate this and many other hotels in similar locations. While that staff was wonderful at helping us move our bags in and out, getting ourselves up and down the stairs was strenuous, and might be a problem for someone with health concerns.
