Very pleasant stay and enjoyed ourselves. Stayed in a Trulli and it was a wonderful place to be. The internet was extremely poor and kept cutting out, the breakfast was basic but did the job. You can not beat the location and staff were pleasant. Alberobello is beautiful.

Lovely to stay in a Trulli for the night and be able to wander around the village before the crowds arrived. Very good breakfast provided. Small point, my confirmation showed an outdoor area at the Trulli I had booked, we didn’t have an outdoor area. This didn’t take away from the enjoyment of the trip however accuracy of accommodation is important.

It is truly a one in a lifetime experience to stay in a Trulli in Alberobello. You feel like you have gone back in time and it is so convenient to be right in the little town. We loved all the space in the trulli and the cottage feel. Our Trulli wasn't super clean and had lots of bugs. The bathrooms are a challenge. Still would recommend for the experience but realize this is not a 5 star resort.

Il trullo è molto bello e nel centro di alberobello. Tutte le attrazioni si visitano a piedi e la massima distanza è il trullo sovrano a 10 minuti a piedi. La stanza aveva anche un giardino interno molto carino che da sul panorama. La colazione accettabile con possibilità di dolce e salato. Il signore al check in è stato molto gentile e ci ha fornito diverse informazioni su dove mangiare e sui musei. Unico punto negativo: la tassa di soggiornio deve essere pagata cash e non con carta. Peccato che se devi prelevare l'atm ti prende una fee di 5 euro. Per il resto consigliatissimo

Its not going to be complete luxury, and we could definitely have used better air conditioning, however it was a fanstasic experience and I really cant complain.The breakfast was really lovely and the staff were great. Worth a one-night stay

Was interesting staying in a Trulli for a night. One night is enough as very touristy. The mattresses weren't great. Noisy street which couldn't be helped. Breakfast was fine. Communication was clear and helpful.

The manager Francesco went out of his way to welcome us first finding a free parking spot and then personally guiding us to the B&B. He also recommended several dining places which were some of the best meals we’ve had in Italy. Great room on quiet street off the very busy Main Street right in the heart of it all. Breakfast is excellent. The wine bar at the facility is great. Would return for sure.

Very unique set up. Each apartment is in a trullo which is very different. Front desk was very helpful. What I didn’t like is that the trullo is 5 minute walk from the check in area. Luckily it wasn’t raining. Looks like each of about 18 trullo apartment are scattered over several areas. Parking is an issue since the trullos are inside the no traffic area. So nothing that the owners can do other than help you with your luggage for the 5 minute walk from the parking area. It was really hot and the air conditioning did not work well and made sleeping very difficult. All in all, it was a very unique experience and I would come back

Okay. Lovely town. Hotel is in an area that was difficult for Google maps to navigate, kept trying to head us up pedestrian walkways. Not the hotel’s fault but it would assist if they provided directions. Also site had indicated that parking was free and on-site. You had to pay and it was a few blocks away down a hill. Manager did assist and dragged bags up for us.

Trulii e Puglia who own the truli we stayed in, own several and ours looked nothing like the publicity photo. You can't get your car to it to start with and have to park several hundred yards away, albeing quite cheaply. The inclusive breakfast is privided in the owners bar and cafe in the main street through the trullli district and was a typical italian 'continental' breakfast. The truli itself was in excellent condition having been beautifully retsored with the largest walk-in shower I've ever seen. Excellent bedroom with aircon and a large living space with fridge and cooking facilities. It was an experience but slightly on the expensive side.

Very nice experience staying in a trullo, the check in process was simple and the check-in counter employee was efficient. Breakfast is served at a shop next door which was delicious. In my search I only considered hotels with air conditioning and parking and this hotel came up, which is misleading because neither were available. However, we had a pleasant stay as the trullo was cool on the inside despite the hot weather. As for the car, we found a parking lot a few hundred yards away.

A Night in a Trulli

Really enjoyed my stay, however brief, in my own trulli at Trulli e Puglia. The room was spacious, clean and well-appointed. The bed was quite comfortable, although the pillows were a bit high and too firm for my liking but this is an individual taste. The manager was very kind and patient in helping me navigate to the train station the following morning. They also gave me breakfast to go as I was leaving early. Visiting the trulli was a highlight of my trip.

Alberobello Charm

We took a chance and strayed from our normal practice to stay at a local, historic, rustic location. Other than some trouble finding the reception area, we were very happy with our stay. Just enough amenities to meet our needs - including free Wifi, a lovely breakfast, enough A/C to keep us comfortable, and a good but small bathroom. The best part of all this was Doriana, who was more than helpful. And the lovely town of Alberobello with trulli and all over and the very friendliest people we met on our entire visit to Italy, and specifically Puglia. Give this a try! It was splendid.

A perfect Trulli experience!

A wonderful stay in a thoroughly updated Trulli home! The shower and bathroom were modern and the stone/tile floor had radiant heat. It was very close to the main street in town and parking on the side streets was very easy. My only complaint was how hard it was to find. The Trulli was a separate building from the reception but we couldn't find the reception building at all-- no sign on the building and no number on it either! We just kept asking people nearby until we found someone who knew what we wanted. Don't count on the wifi though--it worked the first night but not the second day.

Lovely location

Perfect location for visit the trulli's. Room was big enough and the shower room perfect for what we wanted. Five minute walk to breakfast was fine where fresh pastries were cooked !

very beautiful hotel in a pretty part of Italy. Truli's were very nicely converted into guest rooms.

Mama Cosmio fixed us a great meal in our Truli, Great meal and experience

If we were back in the area would definitely consider staying there again!

Our most unique holiday

Wonderful place, lovely trullo, centrally located and the wine tasting was the best I ever had, the girl who did the wine tasting was very knowledgeable and a great sales person. This is a very unique experience and we truly enjoyed. However the lighting inside the trullo was not sufficient, it would be much better if there was more light, but this small issue did not take away from our enjoyment.

Clean, Spacious and Comfortable

Clean, spacious and comfortable. Larger than expected, only booked a 1 bed but had two bedrooms, living room, small kitchenette and shower room. Only stayed one night so unfortunately did not get to spend much time in accommodation. Breakfast at cafe a couple of doors up from us, we were running late for our pick up so just had a couple of custard filled croissants but they were very fresh and the best we tasted in Puglia.

Location, location!

Booked a one bedroom trullo and was upgraded to a two bedroom apartment with kitchenette and sitting area. Had a late check in but was met roadside by friendly Francesca who showed us the best place to park and helped us with our bags. The trullo was right off the main Street, well appointed and we felt immersed in the town's atmosphere. Truly magical!

Enjoyed the peek to local life in Italy

It's a lovely place to stay. But both the airconditioners were not working. While the weather outside was lovely, at night without acs it gets pretty warm. Reception was good enough to give a pedestal fan . Their recommendations on restaurants were excellent. We got a view of Italy local life vis a vis all the touristy places by staying at this place. Luckily the weekly market day coincided with our visit one day.

Where else can you stay in a cone-head house?!

Friendly greeting and a bonus upgrade (I think it was quiet as we stayed out of season) so between the 2 of us we had enough beds for 9! The cooking facilities were useful, the patio space (suite room) was great and the houses were cosy (underfloor heating) and comfortable. Alberobello is a magical place, even in the rain, and even with the slightly pushy shop owners. You never NEED to stay in a Trulli house but it is a unique experience.

Trulli Beautiful.

Trulli amazing

This is now our second time staying in a Trullo in Alberobello and it will not be our last. These wee houses are amazing places to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. sadly this time we did not have an outdoor space but that didn't really matter too much. We would highly recommend a stay in a Trullo. Perhaps a little more off season as the streets were thronged with day trippers.

Fantastic, unique experience

Unarguably one of the best experiences I've had in Italy. We rented a two person Trulli and the larger four person one; the latter could have fit six. Very clean, right in the middle of Alberbello, and our host Mimmo was flexible and very incredibly helpful. Rooms were clean and unique, location was perfect, wifi worked, fridge and the amenities were a nice touch, and the breakfast was actually very, very good (freshly made cornetto). Bottom line, I generally distrust review that are this positive, but it was a perfect stay. Will be coming back for sure.

Relaxing and unique stay!

We loved our time in Alberobello, the staff were fantastic. We were picked up at the train station and had wine tasting and nibbles on arrival. Our Trullo was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is well situated on the main tourist area, and it's a short walk down to the market. The staff were charismatic and great to chat to and spoke very good english.

Not quite what I was expecting

Perhaps I should have read the hotel information extremely carefully but I was rather hoping for a nice double room for just my wife and I to stay in for just one night. Instead we were placed in a triple room that could sleep six people. This lost some of the atmosphere of the double bedded room we had anticipated. However, that said, the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast served in a bar around the corner, was very good indeed.

Great experience

Alberobello is great for a 2 night stay in central Puglia, and the Trulli e Puglia provides a terrific experience. Mimo our host and family were excellent - catering for our needs including backing our car out of a pedestrian only zone! We loved the unique experience, although if you are over 6 ft tall you may find trullo a bit tight.

Intriguing place

Alberobello is an amazing place. Our Trullo was fabulous and quite the most memorable place to stay. Our wee house had its' own patio at the rear of the house which, even in November proved a great place to sit with a glass of wine. The community itself is very welcoming and there are plenty great places to eat. staff were extremely helpful and we would recommend this experience to anyone.

Charming but maintained so-so

We had mixed experience. The room offered via hotels.com turned out to have been poorly maintained: propane tank for hot water was empty, several light bulbs were out, many kitchen utensils missing. In addition, the glass shower enclosure was inexplicably placed only a couple of inches in front of the toilet forcing one either to straddle it or sit side-saddle. After complaining, we were upgraded to another room where the toilet was IN the shower (at least one could sit straight). WiFi was accessible only in the small front office or on the street outside, not conducive to extended use with a laptop.

Lovely experience

They sent us detailed arrival instructions prior to arriving which were very helpful. The staff were great, the Trullo was in a great location and was very comfortable. Breakfast was typical for Italy and quite good. It was a delightful stay! Would recommend staying here.

A Great Time...Once We Got There

This was a really fun place! Trullis are so different! Quite fun. We had wonderful girls taking care of us...wine tasting, cheese, chutney, you name it! :) Our place was so nicely decorated and comfortable. We even had a patio to sit outside and share some wine or tea. Shopping was handy...right there! The only hard part was getting from the train station to our place. That said, they would've come to get us if we called, as they did take us to the station when leaving. So, all we can say is make your way and you will have a wonderful time!
