This is our 2nd visit to the family-owned and operated Hotel Mama Ines and we enjoyed both times immensely. This time we enjoyed getting there on the newly-paved road, which was a wonderful surprise.

The infinity pool is gorgeous and kept very clean. We enjoyed the beach. The restaurant serves excellent food 👌 We especially liked the fish fingers.

Room #1 with the private patio and hammock is our favorite and we were given the jubilados \"senior discount.\" The restaurant staff even brought the food to ouf patio. Looking forward to our next visit 😀 Fondly, DARLENE & DOUGLAS HAHN

This is a tropical paradise. Great beach better than any on Island ( we checked and compared) room on 2nd floor with balcony with awesome view. Room a little rustic ; but we go for beach; a/c kept room cool. Mama Ines granddaughter is manager shared history; oldest property in Santa Catalina used to be their family home. Two cats kept us company. Next. Door to Surf camp; great frozen cocktails; Enjoy!!oh; ;dont arrive in island at dusk. Dogs roaming everywhere you will drive into one(wanted to bring one home) don’t believe weather forecast; it had clouds every day: we had loads of sun.

Great place to stay. Only wish we had booked this place for longer. Rooms were adequate, clean, the air conditioning struggled a bit but overall stayed cool. Location, location, location...this place perfectly centered in a picturesque area and surf hub. Pool was refreshing overlooking the beach, restaurant was great, staff was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Incredible location right on Playa Estero with a great pool, but the management needs to get it together. We arrived to a dirty room (used towels and trash left behind), including someone's bra. Staff was consistently unwelcoming. We had major issues with booking an extra night online because no one was available in person, and then they tried to charge us twice upon check-out. And wanted us to change rooms. The included breakfast takes forever and isn't worth the wait. It’s a shame because the property itself has potential, but the consistent vibes from service made it a stressful stay.

We enjoyed the ambience, the views, right on the ocean with lots of surfers. As we we met the owners, z2 sisters who were out on the veranda checking out the grounds, andthe action. We selected a room from the advertising the day before. it was a nice ,clean room, with a shower , a small fridge. We selected a room that looked to be the largest of the 3 options., which of course, was the highest price. The actual room was clean and neat, steps from the pool, 2 hammocks; but the room in the advertising appeared to have room to “stretch your legs in”. In the actuality, when you stepped out of the bed, on either side, you were bumping up against the wall; from the end of the bed to the window and door,it was about 2 steps. I’d call it creative photography, creative advertising, but in actuality we paid the highest of 3 rates and expected a room as depicted. Still, I gave them 4 stars for the operation.

I was traveling with my teen daughter and we stayed here for two nights. The property is located a few stair steps down to the beach. Very quiet. Very homy relaxing atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. They have a restoran on the site and serve delicious freshly made food for a reasonable price. We rent two queen bed room with a big furnished terrace overlooking ocean and the pool. Room was clean, spacious with good wifi reception and big tv. Chanals and Netflix available. It is a family buisness definitely dedicated to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property is just 15 min. of safe walk at any time to more restorants and buisness. It is hard to find such a property for that price in this area. We would definitely come back here.

Location is everything here. Property is quaint but lovely. Staff are very nice and helpful. Close to everything. Dining options in the area (walkable) are awesome. Wi-Fi and water pressure could both be better. Water pressure is the thing that lowered the review. But I would go back in a heartbeat.

This property didn't have great reviews, and the photos didn't do it justice, this exceeded our expectations! the restaurant was excellent staff were friendly, and the layout makes for lots of private nooks to eat and hang out in. Great location, you can walk down to the beach and river.

A little bit out of the village (15-20 minute walk in) but a much better location than some in the village since it is directly beach front. Room was small but perfect for us, 2 bedside tables with reading lamps which was nice. Be sure to request a room with a balcony, even though we had a standard double room it still came with one, some do not.

Julio was amazing full of information and always willing to help out. We ate in the dining room the first night, it was quite busy, we were the 4th table sat and it took 52 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered. Be prepared, go early if you can, the food was great, we also had 3 lunches pool side which was significantly faster.

There are not a lot of seats by the pool, but it was never overly busy. Plenty of tables and other seating around it to choose from. Great 3 floor roof top patio, furniture is a little sparse up there.

Would highly recommend staying in this spot. Views are to die for. Added bonus the local bus to Sona is less than a five minute walk at the local playground.

A equipe de atendimento do caixa e recepção é boa e gentil, já as garçonetes do restaurante demoram pra atender em qualquer horário, ate mesmo no café da manhã.
Nosso quarto triplo estava com problema na fechadura, e o quarto é extremamente apertado para ser triplo, o banheiro tem uma cortina no box que acaba ficando totalmente molhado.
O hotel está bem localizado na praia, ce conta com uma boa area de bar, restaurante e piscina.
