A gem! Never judge a book by its cover

Honest to goodness seemingly effortless Scandi design that pays homage to the era in which the building was built. Why rebuild a 1960's building when all you need to do is maintain it and stay true to the its original function and design. Can't get any higher eco credentials than that.

Never again Staff Lady harrassed me outdated hotel

Staf lady was psycho to me. They harass you at 9-10 in the morning for an 11 Am checkout before the checkout time. The rooms are outdated. The hotel is outdated and overpriced. When I complained to the lady about being harrassed (this happened on more than one stay there the same woman was completely nuts. Will never go back to this hotel. Very crazy staff person.

Hotel California

The bathroom was out the the 1970’s and even then it would have been unfashionable.

The room had dead moths on the floor when we arrived, and then later we discovered silverfish in the bathroom.

It obvious that any money spent on the hotel has been on the reception area alone.

Breakfast was also poor, think the bread was also from the 1970s…

Dejligt hotel, dog lettere slidt.
Vi boede i suiten, varmen ikke tændt så her var godt koldt, gulvet på badeværelset iskold også. Jeg rensede bruse hovedet, den var kalket godt og grundet sammen.

Eneste minus for os var at med to børn, hvor vi blev henvist til baren ved siden af til et glas vin, men børnene måtte ikke være der kl. 14!!! om eftermiddagen til et spil pool og shuffleboard… Så lidt for børnene havde godt…

Det er et stort problem for alle håndværkere at der først er morgenmad kl. 06:30.
Vi møder stort set alle kl. 07:00, og det er meget svært at nå for de fleste.
Der burde være åbent i det mindste for kaffe og brød/cerials.

Veldig bra. Helt OK frokost. Det eneste som kunne vært bedre er dusjforhold. Gammeldagse kraner, vanskelig å regulere og lenge før det ble varmt vann. Ble vått overalt. Rommet var for øvrig veldig bra.

Der var lidt afmålt kølighed at spore hos front desk medarbejderen. TV på værelse var på størrelse med en serveringsbakke, og så fik vi et værelse med udsigt til gården, på trods af at der stod næsten tre etager med 12 værelser pr etage ledige på den modsatte side af gangen med fuld hav udsigt. Men ellers fint ophold.

Det her er det bedste Hotel vi har boet på -og vi har boet på flere hundrede, i hele Europa og USA. Fantastisk udsigt fra Balkonen ud over Havnen, dermed når vi gik ud ad bagdøren -går vi lige ud i gågaderne.
Her kommer vi igen, men selvfølgelig er Balkon værelse lidt dyre.

Close by

1st room was just renovated but due to foul smell we asked for another room. 2nd room was a bit older but still nice altough it had scaffolding in front of it.
Location close to pedestrian street and harbour are a big plus for this place.

Beskidt og ringe værelse

Virkelig ringe ophold. Indtjekningen rædsom, fik et forkert værelse, ingen info om at man selv skal bestille rengøring. Der var en indtørret snotklat på sengetæppet og skægkræ på gulvet. Hotellet fuldstændig ligeglade, vi kunne få et ringere værelse hvor de også mente at der kunne være skægkræ. Der blev ikke støvsuget under 4 dages ophold og dermed møgbeskidt gulvtæppe.
Badeværelset mikroskopisk og sejler i vand efter bad.
Eneste positive var god morgenmad.

Dålig ventilation

”Havsutsikt” väldigt begränsat från första våningen, som var det enda som fanns trots tidig incheckning. Obefintlig ventilation (tills en fläkt lånades) gjorde att vi fick ha fönstren öppna och allt ljud från gatorna utanför hördes.
Frukost och middag i restaurangen var dock bra liksom puben på bottenvåningen.

Hotel with great staff!

Stayed for 4 nights. Very central location, near shops and restaurants. Rooms good size and good quality furniture.
Only negative is, that the doors have gap below so a bit noise when people opening/closing the doors to rooms.
I would definitely stay there again!

Frukosten var klart sämre än vad vi hade förväntat oss. Med en sådan dålig frukost kommer vi nog aldrig komma tillbaka eller kunna rekommendera till andra. Den var så dålig att vi hoppade över den andra dagen. Personalen var trevliga. Hotellet i övrigt helt ok. Sängarna var fantastiska

Byens førende. Men kun af navn?

Personalet i receptionen var supersøde og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden stor, men en lille smule bagud i opfyldning - og den ene morgen var det halve af restauranten afspærret til selskab, hvilket gav lidt pladsudfordringer. Og så var der papkopper på værelset, hvilket bare bliver en smule \"tarveligt\".

Men... det varme vand! Det er der ikke meget af på 5. sal. Jo, hvis man lader vandet løbe \"længe\", fik jeg at vide af den venlige receptionist, da jeg checkede ud. Men hvorfor siger man dog ikke det, når man checker ind? De vidste jo, at der var problemer. Så hvorfor giver man værelset i første runde, når man ved, det ikke virker, og alligevel bare vil flytte en til er andet værelse? .... for netop dér (værelse eller etage?) var det åbenbart bare sådan, det var.

Første morgen nåede vandet at blive varmt, før jeg gik i gang med kold etagevask. Anden morgen opgav jeg. Da jeg checkede ud, beklagede jeg mig, og havde ønsket, jeg havde sagt det efter første morgen, for så kunne jeg have fået nyt værelse.

En gang og kun en gang.

Vi ankommer i den tro, at der er gratis parkering i gården bag hotellet og betalings parkering i p-kælderen.
Vi bliver så bonnet 105 kroner for, at parkere i gården, synes det er småligt og ikke ok, dersom der stod gratis parkering under bookningen.
Værelset som vendte ud mod gården var meget trangt og \"badeværelset \" var meget lille og lugtede af kloak. Ingen form for udluftning.
Gulvtæppet var fyldt med pletter og pyntepuderne ligeså.
Hotellet emmede af slitage og trænger i den grad til en gennemgribende renovering.
Sengene var ok, men svært at sove med puppen nedenunder. Den fine terrasse der hører til puppen, ligger på bagsiden af hotellet og der er man indlagt til fest både eftermiddag og aften.
Hotellets beliggenhed er perfekt i alle henseender.
Vi må nok erkende, at vi vælger et andet hotel næste gang vi besøger Frederikshavn.

Fint hotel centralt i Frederikshavn. Gode værelser - vi havde havudsigt og kunne følge med i havnetrafikken. Morgenmadsbuffeten var god og var varieret.

Unfortunately, The bike was bad when I asked the reception to check the deck cause we rent for a day, she just ignore it and told me it was okey. The hotel offer tiny fan for summer season. Never met any service staff until we went at the breakfast hall. Food was okey and we stayed 2 days.

Jag betalade över 1500 för en natt och det var ett fyrstjärnigt hotell inte ens frukost ingick i priset det fick man köpa till för 135 danska kronor ungefär 212svenska kronor därför valde jag att gå till en butik och köpa frukost gick på 112 danska kronor ungefär 176 svenska kronor

Jutlandica är helt enkelt bäst.

Mye støy fra havna om natta og dårlig ventilasjon på rom. Sengene var ok, men stedet bærer preg av at hotellet nok hadde sin gullalder for mange år siden. Bodde der i nesten en uke. Det var litt for lenge.. en natt eller to hadde passet bedre. Gode parkeringsforhold, og kort vei til både sentrum og ferge.

Rymligt rum med en bra standard. Hotellet är några år gammalt men har fräschats upp nyligen. Frukosten var mycket bra.
Läget är suveränt. Nära från färjan och nära till centrum.

Selve rommet var bra og hyggelig betjening. Flott beliggenhet.
Hadde separat bad og toalett. Begge var iskalde og det gikk ikke an å få på varme, og selv om betjening kom opp for å se hjalp det ikke.
Frokost noe mangelfull da det raskt ble tomt for bacon, juice etc.
