A cozy hotel next to Old Rauma

A nice medium class hotel almost next to the Old Rauma area and a cozy sports bar (that wasn't too noisy or crowded) with very helpful and positive waitresses and pub food downstairs. Breakfast was plentiful, including both warm and cold sorts.

Had a big room with a nice bed and renovated bathroom. very clean and a short walk to the old town. easy parking in the back of the hotel. lots of food options in town. Breakfast was only fair, so that could use improvement. Furniture starting to show age for price. We only stayed one night, so thought it was fine.

Charming old hotel in the city centre

We had the room with the sauna and it was quite lovely. The sauna glass door should have something behind it as it could slam on the bathroom tiles. My son slept on the pull-out couch, which was a bit hard. Perhaps some extra cushion would have been more comfortable. There is also a bad sewer smell occasionally, but I guess that is normal in an old hotel. There is a nightclub next to this hotel, so if you cannot sleep with the bass booming late into the night, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for you. Otherwise, it was a charming stay, right in the centre and it is walking distance to most restaurants and stores.

Ok overall

Good place to stay in Rauma. Our stay was really overpriced but around 100 euros per night would be ok price for a standard room as the hotel is quite old and need of renovations. Breakfast was good but the breakfast place was not as it was in a pub with a bit of a smell and sticky tables.

Overall good value for the price. My only issue was that the breakfast room was very small. It was impossible to keep the required covid safety distance to the other guests in there. In times of the pandemic, the food should be partially moved out into the bigger room so that people can keep the safety distances to one another also while getting breakfast.

The hotel’s staffs were friendly, and parking is free at the property. Check in/check out were smooth however, do be prepared to carry your luggage up and down some steps to reach the lift lobby. There is free coffee and some biscuits near the reception area for guests. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. Location is good and within walking distance to the old town.

Hotellet ligger bra till och det fanns gott om platser för parkering längs med gatan. Rummet kändes lite slitet, gardinerna var sönder och elementen hade något konstigt ljud. Helt ok rum för en övernattning.

Erittäin mukava hotelli. Henkilökunta oli palvelevaa ja kaikki sujui todella mukavasti. Saimme myös vaihdettua huoneen helposti vastaamaan tarpeitamme paremmin. Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja hyvä. Parkeeraus oli maksutonta.

Majoituimme kaksi tötä koiran kanssa. Huoneemme oli tilava ja mukava, koiralle oli pallo odottamassa :) Tyynyt olisivat voineet olla paremmat, muuten huoneessa kaikki perushyvää. Perjantaina yöllä äänet kuuluivat yläkerrasta vähän turhan hyvin. Aamupala oli perushyvä.

A few minutes' walk from the town centre

The hotel is located a few minutes' walk from Rauma's historical town centre and parking is free (there's a car park at the back of the hotel). Breakfast was included in the price of the room and was good. The room (201) was a good size but had no view and looked onto the building next door so it was a little on the dark side. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

Ilmainen pysäköinti oli hyvä juttu. Saimme auton parkkiin ennen kirjautumista. Palvelu oli ystävällistä, huone siisti ja iso! Huone 2. Kerroksessa kadun puolella eikä liikenteen melu häirinnyt. Aamupala makoisa perushotelliaamiainen ilman mitään ekstraa. Ainoa miinus ilmastoinnin puute huoneessa, hellekelillä tuli yöllä lämmin.

Henkilökunta on ystävällinen ja kaikin puolin erinomainen mutta heitä on liian vähän aamiaistarjoilun aikana. Tuotteet loppuivat ja niitä joutui odottamaan tuon tuosta.
Aamiainen on monipuolinen ja maukas mutta suosittelen etsimään uuden toimittajan sämpylöille ja croissanteille sillä molemmat olivat sitkeitä ja aika mauttomia.

Aamupala pohjanoteeraus

Hotellin henkilökunta tarjoutui vaihtamaan meidän sviittimme ilmastoituun sviittiin. Eli aluksi meillä oli huone jossa ei ollut ilmastointia ja yövyimme kuitenkin useamman yön ko.hotellissa.
Aamupala tarjottiin viereisessä ravintolassa jossa gluteenittomuus oli huomioitu todella huonosti. Tänä päivänä on paljon tarjolla erilaisia gluteenittomia tuotteita kuitenkin. Normaali ruokavalioiselle tarjonta oli monipuolista, mutta meille oli tarjolla yhdenlaista leipää ja kuivia keksejä. Ei löytynyt mitään karjalanpiirakkaa tai mitään makeaakaan leivonnaista.

Tyylikäs rakennus, ilmastointi olisi ollut plussaa

Sijainti vanhan kaupungin kupeessa erinomainen. Ilmaista pysäköintitilaa hyvin. Hotellirakennus tyylikästä 1930-luvun funkista. Aamiaisravintolana toimiva alakerran sporttibaari hieman poikkesi tyylistä. Vastaanotto ja palvelu erinomaista. Juniorisviitissä ei yllättäin ollut huonekohtaista ilmastointia eli huone oli heinäkuisena yönä tukalan kuuma. Ikkunaa auki pitämällä ja kaapista löytyneen tuulettimen avulla nukkuminen kuitenkin onnistui.

Siisti ja hyvä huone. Hyvä sijainti. Aamupala hieman niukka ja olisin toivonut ivihanneksia, esim. kurkkua, paprikaa . Vaikutti myös siltä, että henkilökuntaa oli aamupalalla liian vähän, sillä useat tarjolla olevat ruost ja juomat loppuivat ja jokaisesta joutui huomauttamaan henkilökunnalle erikseen.

Hotelli Raumanlinna

Miellyttävät huoneet ja hyvät näkymät ikkunasta. Siisti ja viihtyisä hotelli. Aamupala sinänsä maukas ja runsas, mutta tila, jossa se oli tarjolla, aivan liian ahdas ja kaoottinen ihmisten jonottaessa ruokaa. Lisäksi henkilökuntaa ei ruokaillessamme näkynyt missään. Kahvi loppui kesken aamupalan.
Iso plussa ilmaisesta pysäköinnistä hotellin takapihalla.

Kiva hotelli, hyvällä paikalla. Todella hyvä ilmastointi huoneessa. Huone siisti ja hyvänkokoinen. Aamupala suppea, osa ruoista loppu ja uusia joutui odottelemaan. Karjalanpiirakoita oli, muttei munavoita niiden päälle. Vatsa tuli täyteen kuitenkin, se lienee pääasia.
