Located in the old part of town, walkable to restaurants, bars and shops, with parking for guests (reserve in advance) for €11 per day. Staff at hotel reception were very welcoming. We stayed for one night. Would recommend this hotel for its convenience, safety and welcoming staff.

Beautiful historic hotel with a great breakfast. Our room was very small and our sheets were stained with what looked like old blood. The carpet was also old and had dirt on parts of it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations for dinning in the area. We would stay here again but would definitely book a larger room.

The hotel is in the centre of the city with a good covered car park. The public spaces are small, with a limited bar and breakfast area but it all worked and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There are restaurants, shops and all the main attractions within easy walking distance. We were there on a wet Monday evening and most restaurants were closed.

Nice older hotel in a very centrally located portion of the city. 10 minutes in either direction to shopping, restaurants and major highlights.Very enjoyable stay and staff offered suggestion on a fantastic restaurant for dinner. Definitely would atat again.

We recommend this lovely hotel for those looking for a quiet downtown location : easily walkable to the train station and all the tourist highlights in Tours: historical sites, Loire River, shopping, restaurants and the medieval square. The personnel are very helpful and accommodating. Just remember that there is a charge for their breakfast.

First time in Tours! conveniently located to train station hotel is in safe area and staff was very helpful and spoke English well! Breakfast provided was pleasant and complete. I would recommend this hotel to new visitors. It even had about 10 easy parking spaces in front in case you had a car!

A nice stay in Tours

Easy checkin and a good sized comfy room on the 4th/top floor. Nice sitting area and wonderful spacious bathroom, by French standards. Unobstructed view over Tours. The front desk staff, Etienne and Mikail were very helpful and attentive to our needs.
We didn't opt for the breakfast buffet but it looked very adequate when we walked by. The hotel is nicely located near the centre without the noise.

The front desk staff is kind and helpful.
The main floor including the lobby, breakfast area, bar and terrace are nice and updated but the rooms would need a little love too... time for remodeling.
The location of the hotel is nice and convenient in a quiet street.

Great hotel

Comfortable and friendly hotel. Very nice staff. Traditional with character, better than ultra modern hotels with no heart and no feeling for the area they represent. Enjoy our visits here very much. Also love the little garden, it's so relaxing to sit out there.

Well positioned for the medieval quarter. Room clean and comfortable. Nice outside garden area for drinks. No restaurant but not a problem as spoilt for choice in the city, loads an easy walk. Great breakfast. Would stay again.

Good match to its price

Room in a decent size. Our friend's room with a tiny bathroom although our friend is not big built. Everything in the room was good. I wish the mattress could be more firm. I have backache after sleep due to a very soft bed. But it doesn't matter much because we only stayed a 1-night stopover.

If the hotel can provide free parking, it will be good. It's expensive when compared to the street parking is free at night.

Great location, a little below usual BW standard

Excellent central location with many nearby restaurants & shops. As well as there was no food available (apart from breakfast) not even snack/sandwich. Room pretty small but comfortable. Clean. Toilet seat very loose (reported next morning). 2 dogs -charge 18 euro per night, parking 10 euros. 2 beers cost 15 euros, (& didn't taste good)

Excellent hotel for short stay in Tours. Perfect location, staff were very friendly and all ran smoothly in these strange times we find ourselves in. First time in Tours and all agreed that it was a great stop off on our way to Dordogne

Excellent choice in Tours

Excellent location, on-site parking, and large room and bathroom make this an outstanding choice for traveling with family. Tours is an amazing city, and this hotel is within easy walking distance of many wonderful sites and areas. It even has a small lift, a wonderful surprise since we were placed on the 4th floor.

Clueless staff and just ok hotel

The hotel was in a great location. Front desk didn’t know answers to anything from check out time to getting car service. The rooms ( we were on 4th floor) were extremely hot and they would not let us turn on any air and told us to open window. ( which was only in one part of the room ) they had a sign that was so small it was ridiculous in regards to the price for breakfast. They did have a nice selection arrays of food, Not a huge breakfast but definitely nice and charged more than to stay for the night for basic continental breakfast with no service. The last day the coffee maker didn’t even work and I paid what would be an exorbitant amount for a glass of orange juice and croissants.While the front desk was nice they were not knowledgeable but they were knowledgeable enough to tell me that I was not allowed to use the air conditioner. I am a travel agent and would never recommend this hotel to anyone that I would want to use me again. Next time I would definitely stay at another hotel

This location was great, with many walkable shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was top-notch and friendly. The room was immaculate with all the amenities.

The only negative I can say about this hotel is the limited and cramped parking.

I liked this Hotel had a nice size room and bathroom. I even liked the location. But my complaint is that on Hotels.com it says they have laundry but they did not. We planned on doing laundry at this site. So that was a big bummer.

Our room was haunted. Lights kept flickering on and off after we tried to go to bed. Called the front desk and they said they had never heard of such a thing. Lights stopped flickering afterwards.

I had a very pleasant stay in a lovely, historic city. on arrival, I walked from the station to the hotel, which took about 15 minutes. Once you know the route it's simple, but it might be tricky the first time - best to go down Rue National and look for the signs, I'd say.
The hotel is a little like the city, low key but traditional. It's a block to Rue Colbert, which is hopping in the evening, with many cozy restaurants and bars.
The ancient city of Tours is pretty easy to negotiate, once you've got the hang of it - and the hotel Central is truly that - right in the centre, between Old Tours and the Cathedral/Castle.

This hotel met all expectations for a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were excellent. The room was good. The bed was comfortable. We had the express breakfast each morning and enjoyed the bar in the evening. There is a lovely interior courtyard which is lovely to sit in for an aperitif at the end of a day of sightseeing. Good restaurants are close by parking at the hotel is simple and secure. I would definitely return.

Good central location: easy secure parking

Everything was good except for the bed. The mattress was most uncomfortable, - sloping towards the centre from either side. Tried sleeping on the floor as an option but finally got some sleep after 0300. Not a good outcome with a 5-hour drive in front of me.

Bed was only reason not to recommend this hotel.

We booked the hotel whilst driving to Tours and paid in advance. When we arrived less than 2 hours later we found that we had accidentally booked for the Friday night instead of the Thursday. The duty manager said they had a room available but refused to move our booking and charged us again. He even added 10 euros for parking. He seemed to find the whole thing funny and we decided to sort it in the morning as we were tired. In the morning we were told the owner and manager were both not available and would not help. An email from me has had no response. Not a nice hotel just money grabbers.

We stayed for one night and had booked a superior room and were given a family room as an upgrade. Not sure this was a larger room as it included an extra single bed as I have stayed here previously.. The bed was comfortable but I do think there was a problem with the base at it seemed to sink on one side. Very quiet hotel.

A very nicely appointed hotel in town. Easy parking and great wifi. Breakfast very good. The bedroom was comfortable with quiet AC. The bathroom in our superior room was huge with a great shower.
