Overall a lovely hotel with great staff. Views were spectacular and the breakfast buffet delicious. We also appreciated the complimentary wine and fruit basket for our wedding weekend. Cute leaving gift too which was a nice gesture. Parking was only 5€ per day but considering the price of the room should really be included in the price. Electrics are outdated and we did have to change room due to lighting issues but they were very accommodating. Biggest downfall was the lack of air-conditioning - they should at least provide fans on a hot weekend like ours. The heat was so unbearable on one night that we couldn't sleep and therefore we would not stay here again on a hot night but would recommend it the rest of the year.

Lovely hotel. The spa are wasn't huge, but still very charming though. Though i would say, if the weather isn't good, then there is probably not too much to do an entire weekend. But if the weather is good, then place is amazing. Good food, and very intimate feel. Amazing view also. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable and lovely hotel 10 minutes away from Flensburg. Cheap parking (5 euros). Very helpful stuff that speaks fluent English.
We loved their restaurant, even though picked this place for their second restaurant with 2 Michelin star.
The room was cosy and nice, we've got the whole base full of fruits. We wish they got harder pillows and mattress.
The pool and relaxation area is just perfect and above expectations.

Have been to quite a few spa hotels and this one is at the top of the list. Located at the waterfront in a quiet residential area, the food is perfect for a relaxing get-away. The restaurant offers good food and the spa is very nice. The hotel is located only 10 minutes drive from Flensborg for shopping or a cafe visit. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Aftensmaden var nærmest uspiselig og helt smagløs.

Og så synes jeg det er mærkeligt at man forventede drikkepenge til alt. For eksempel havde vi booket 2 massagebehandlinger, som jeg synes var dyre nok i sig selv, men der forventedes det også at man gav drikkepenge. Jeg synes , vi har betalt alt for mange penge i forhold til hvad vi fik. Vi har været på 3 og 4 stjernet hoteller, hvor vi har haft en langt bedre oplevelse. Så alt i alt var det en skuffende oplevelse og ikke hvad vi forventede af et 5 stjernet hotel.

We had an amazing few days at the hotel with our (almost) two-year old boy. All the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. We were initially a bit worried about bringing our little son, but the staff went out of their way to make him feel welcome. Thank you!

We had a lovely time at Alter Meierhof. The room was big, clean and had everything you need including water and coffee free of charge. The reason I am only giving 4 stars is because of the Spa facilities. The only pool you can swim in was really cold and the 2 steam baths also didn’t really work as we thought it would. But if you want a private massage or facial treatment, I am sure this is a good spa.

Hotellets personal väldigt hjälpsam och tillmötesgående. Vårat de lux rum var stor ljust och välstädat. Frukost buffen var inbjudande upplagd och välsmakande. Åt 3 rätters meny 2 kvällar och var mycket nöjda. Riktigt fin och välordnad pool/spa anläggning. Busshållplatsen låg framför hotellet och tog 20 min in till Flensburg, perfekt om man inte vill ta bilen.

Vi har et dejligt ophold på Alter Meierhof i 3 dage. Personalet var yderst hjælpsomme. Vi havde et dejligt værelse med udsigt til fjorden og vi spiste på hotellet 2 af de 3 aftner vi var der hvilket var meget lækkert mad. Ligeledes var morgenmaden helt i top. Hotellet var også fint pyntet med blomster opsatser der gav et hyggeligt indtryk og et fint opholdsrum med pejs.
Vores eneste klage var at deres wellness afdeling ikke var så god, som forventet, især var vandet i deres varmtvand bassin koldt og der manglede et hottub med massage dysser. I deres afslapnings rum var der også koldt og inden af sengene var opvarmet. Vi har været på en del wellness hoteller og dette var ikke et af de bedre - desværre.
Vores eneste klage var at deres wellness afdeling ikke var så god, som forventet, især var vandet i deres varmtvand bassin koldt og der manglede et hottub med massage dysser. Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön, wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer, alles war sauber und ordentlich! Das Frühstück bietet eine riesige Auswahl und das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam! Besonders die Dame mit den fetzigen Brillen beim Frühstück. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder. Auch der kleine Saunabereich war sehr schön. Hier nur 2 kleine Anmerkungen: zu Stoßzeiten am Wochenende so voll das man keinen Platz mehr bekommt. Und leider legen sich die hauptsächlich dänischen Gäste ohne Handtuch in die Sauna, direkt mit dem schwitzenden Körper auf's Holz. Das fanden wir sehr befremdlich und das sollte nochmal ganz deutlich in den Saunaregeln stehen! Aber ansonsten - top Hotel!!!

Lige det med rygning foran hotellet var ikke okay
Meget flinkt og opmærksomt personale, SPA afdelingen var lidt overfyldt om lørdagen. Det som var træls: ved indgangen havde man lavet et ”overdække” med en bar, hvor alle rygerne holdt til. For at komme ind på hotellet skulle man igennem en røgtåge. De reklamerer med at de er et ”ikke ryger Hotel” er det ikke okay, at første man møder er rygere i samlet flok. Man kunne finde en anden mulighed.

Alles in allem waren es schöne Tage im AM. Lediglich die ungeputzen Fenster, die von der Schiene gesprungenen Gardinen und die morgendlichen Silberfische im Bad haben den Aufenthalt getrübt. Außerdem sollte ein Handtuchwechsel nur stattfinden, wenn die Handtücher am Boden liegen. Da wir nicht jeden Tag frische Handtücher brauchen haben wir sie aufgehängt. Es wurden aber trotzdem komplett alle Handtücher jeden Tag gewechselt. Nicht sehr umweltfreundlich.

Das Hotel haben wir schon mehrfach besucht und empfinden es immer wieder lohnenswert. Das Zimmer war perfekt sauber, die Einrichtung unser Stil. Jedes Zimmer hat seine eigene Note. Auch Sonderwünsche beim Essen wurden ohne Probleme erfüllt. Die Qualität der Speisen war hervorragend. Der Spa und Wellness Bereich ist immer empfehlenswert. Der Blick aus dem Pool auf die Förde ist ein Highlight.

Dejligt hotel, lækker mad og ekstrem serviceminded personale. Men også et par øv`er ift. et 5-stjernet hotel. Ekstremt varmt på værelset, ingen airconditioning og umuligt at åbne vinduerne pga. larm fra køkkenet til sent om aftenen og igen fra tidlig morgen, så desværre ikke megen søvn. Herudovervar der små børn i Spa`en, som derfor i perioder bar mere præg af et vandland end et 5-stjernet Spa-hotel. Børn under 16 år har normalt ikke adgang til en Spa - det bør man også undgå her, da de fleste af os jo kommer for afslapning i ro og mag ved poolen.

Das Hotel war sehr gut . Das Zimmer war sehr groß und gemütlich. Leider ist das Hotel ja schon etwas älter, sodaß keine Klimaanlage vorhanden war. Außerdem lag unser Zimmer zur Straße und wegen der gr0ßen Wärme mussten wir bei offenen Fenstern schlafen, was wegen des Autoverkehrs nicht so toll war.

Det eneste men er, at man må ryge ved indgangen, hvilket egentlig er et dårligt førstehåndsindtryk. Der lugter også af røg, når man sidder i den hyggelige lobby. Vi håber, at næste gang vi kommer, har man flyttet rygepladsen, så det ikke er til gene for gæsterne.

Et dejligt sted hvor man kan slappe helt af. Altid god service. Der var dog en uheldig oplevelse første aften til aftensmaden. Der kom en tjener og begyndte at fylde op i vores glas af vine som var åbnet. Vi fik ikke noget drinks kort, så vi selv kunne vælge kvalitet og pris. Det var en ærgelig start på opholdet.
