The U Ricordu is located 300 meters from the Macinaggio's port, 35 kilometers from the north of Bastia. The hotel has 60 rooms in two buildings, with full services and amenities including a safe, air conditioning, satellite television, and a mini-refrigerator.
The main building has 50 rooms on two floors. A few rooms have a terrace on the ground floor and a balcony on the first floor, an outdoor heated pool with a hot tub, a bar with a terrace, and a restaurant onsite.
In the second building there are ten rooms with a balcony and an outdoor pool. There are three complimentary parking areas available, and free Wi-Fi is available in the hotel.

It was a pleasant change to stay in a smaller hotel that had a family feel about it, as opposed to a large soul- less corporate hotel.
The staff were friendly, pleasant and courteous.
My room was very nicely decorated and filled out, and the en-suiute was spotlessly clean and looked as it it had been recently installed. I also had the benefit of a terrace that I could sit out in.
The hotel was very convenient for walking in to Macinaggio that has numerous bars and restaurants to be enjoyed and there is a really safe swimming beach just north of marina.
The area is a complete treat and comes highly recommended .

Good hotel, close to small quiet and pretty town
Breakfast was rather ordinary however the 2 evening meals I had at the hotel were very good and actually provided better value than the nearby places to eat. Each member of staff made an effort to be cheerful and helpful. All spoke English to some degree, most of them did so very well. All in all very happy with the hotel. The only negative to be aware of is the cost of taxis (€120 from the airport and €100 from Bastia town after 7pm) as there are only 3 buses in and out of Macinaggio each day.

An efficientplace to stay in northen Cap Corse
While this modern hotel has relatively little 'cachet' - which many charming Corsican hotels do - it was nice to be somewhere (for a change) where everything worked, etc. It was also convenient (walking distance) for the little port of Macinaggio, at the NE end of Cap Corse.

Das Hotel ist schön gelegen und das Personal ist hilfsbereit. Die zwei Pools und der Jacuzzi sind auch jeden Fall ein Highlight! Das Restaurant des Hotels ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert, wenn gleich es reicht hier einen Abend des Urlaubs zu verbringen. Die Lage ist auch optimal. Es ist ruhig und trotzdem sind andere Restaurants, Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut erreichbar! Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Mysigt litet hotell i den lilla staden Macinaggio. Fint rum med mycket god städning. Perfekt att hänga vid poolen tid på dagen när stranden blir för varmt. Personalen är inte bara behjälplig på både franska och engelska, de är öppna och gästvänliga. Rekommenderar starkt detta hotell.

Bon hôtel, bon emplacement, calme, tout confort. Malheureusement pour nous, nous avons été mal reçu la première fois alors que nous nous sommes présentés à 14h pour un Check in à partir de 15h ; nous souhaitions simplement savoir si la chambre était prête ayant conscience que nous étions en avance. Après 20 mn a attendre sans que personne ne vienne nous voir, nous avons demandé au bar si la réception était ouverte et nous nous sommes fait envoyés ballader ; dommage . Après un petit tour, nous sommes revenus et la tout s’est bien déroulé.

Leider ist der Ort selbst sehr begrenzt. Es gibt nicht viel was man machen kann, der Strand ist zwar in 7 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar allerdings nicht so schön zum Baden.

Nice stay in the Cap Corse but 4 stars to be reviewed. Staff at the bar rude and impolite - I took a drink and wanted to pay by card. At first the terminal was taken and finally I paied by card but I heard the comment that we don't pay by card for one drink...I'm sorry but either you say that it's not possible or you let me pay but I don't want to hear the comments. Apart from that nice and clean room. One swimming pool available - the other one that is described is not available for everyone. Free parking in front of the hotel. Nice breakfast. Near the center of the village.

Un BW agréable un peu a l écart du port, que l on rejoint en 7 mn a pied. Les chambres supérieures ont accès a une 2e piscine a l arrière (demandez une chambre donnant sur la piscine). Seul point qui mériterait d être amélioré : climatisation un peu bruyante et qui fonctionne en on/off
