This hotel is in a great location! Only a five minute walk to Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre! The beds were comfy and the AC worked pretty well. The front desk staff was very helpful! The only issue was the shower was in a bathtub and there was no door or shower curtain so it was really hard to keep the water from going everywhere. We would stay here again!

Even the refrigerator failed to perform, keeping beverages merely lukewarm rather than cold — a small but telling reflection of the room's overall condition. My daughter and I endured a sleepless night despite every effort: wet towels, the hotel's two fans, and personal handheld fans offered no relief. My husband fared no better. The heat was simply relentless.
Arriving after a grueling 10-hour flight from Los Angeles, two consecutive nights without rest left me dizzy and disoriented — unable to experience Paris the way one should after traveling across the world to be there.
What compounded our disappointment was the hotel's silence. I raised the matter with the manager and through Hotels.com. Despite our patience and composure throughout, we received no acknowledgment, no apology, and no gesture of goodwill. For a property presenting itself at $400/nt, this indifference to guest welfare is as telling as it is inexcusable.
With over 20 years of travel and 4 trips annually, we have stayed in accommodations across the world. None has fallen this far short — in comfort, in quality, or in character. The hotel scarcely resembled its photographs.
We would not return, and not recommend

The hotel's plus point is that it's in a very good location for tourist attractions, transport and restaurants; however the room was incredibly cramped with too much furniture crammed into it. The bathroom was small, with the tiniest basin. Breakfast was not included. It was disappointing for the price and I wouldn't recommend it.

I am so impressed with the staffs. They were so helpful and cheerful, especially Musta, who was so kind to us. Besides, the location of the hotel is excellent. I walked to the Louvre museum and the park everyday. It took me only 6 minutes. The price of the room is affordable and in a very safe location. I will absolutely stay there again! Thank you !

We arrived in Paris when it was 34-36 degrees. The AC turned on & cooled the room to 30-32. When I said I did not think it was working the man at reception was very rude & said 'it was normal AC, not cold AC.' I asked what was normal AC is & he said 20 degrees. I said it is not working, and the room was over 30 all night. He shrugged his shoulders & simply (rudely) said. 'There is no defect' without checking.
No sleep for the 2 nights.
Great location, but hotel is very overpriced for condition.

Bathroom - My toiletries had to be put on top of the garbage can. No hook to hang a towel near the shower. The shower curtain isn’t efficient to prevent the water to wet outside…

Didn't try breakfast. Room was very small. There was one table chair and no really good place to put it. Bed took up most of the living space and was comfortable. TV was what you would expect anywhere else. Bathroom was also small, but generally acceptable. Had to repair shower wand support a few times but otherwise effective if not roomy. Telephone didn't work while I was there but had my own. It was returned to the room the day I left.
So why the Good rating? My meeting location was a 5-to-8-minute walk away, great selection of restaurants within a short walk and a walkable distance to the Louvre and its associated plaza/mall area. There was a desk in the reception area that was available for my use when needed. If I was there for a longer period, the staff would bring me water or juice. The friendly and helpful staff was an asset.

I you’re travelling alone and are looking for a place to sleep, it’s a fine spot.
The best part of my experience was the people of the front desk, very nice, communicative, and helpful. They let me check in earlier and check out a bit later. That helps me a lot as I was exhausted when I got to the hotel. Very nice people.
The location is pretty good as well.
But the room is small, the shower was not good at all. As a small place I was awake a lot because people were a bit noisy coming from the night. I couldn’t sleep well because of that.
It’s a fine hotel,
I guess cheaper in comparison to others on the same location.
It was good for one night.

The first red flag was that for $180 per night they didn’t have key cards but actual metal keys, attached to paper weight. Which you had to leave at the desk every time you wanted to leave the hotel. After that I get to my room and I do have long arms but I could nearly touch both sides of the room standing in the middle. I understand the rooms in Paris are generally small, but not that small. My window faced a brick wall and the room was not very clean. Hairs on the bed that weren’t mine and just crumbs on the floor. Too too it all off in sitting in my room looking for another place to stay and a lady just walked into my room, major problem with not having key cards. There are far better places to stay for half the price. Do not stay here by any means, I booked the room because my mom had stayed there 20 years ago when she was traveling. Clearly the hotel hasn’t made any improvements since the 90s and you will regret staying here.

This is a good hotel close to some of the main places to see and the staff is very welcoming. This is an old hotel and the rooms can be small; however, this is to be expected in old buildings in many hotels in the big city of Paris. If you are looking for a quiet place, convenient location, and don't plan to spend much time in the hotel, then this place is a good option.

Air unit in room didn’t work. I complained but front desk staff was very indifferent-they told us to open windows which allowed mosquitoes in that gave us bites. Room is minimally comfortable. Modest Room With Careless Housekeeping

Everyone was really friendly & the location is very convenient. My problem was when I came back to my room on the second day my room was left open. Not just unlocked but the door was fully left open with a towel. I had everything of value with me but also as a female traveling alone this made me feel a bit unsafe. I let the person at the desk know but he seemed to be fairly unconcerned. I understand there was nothing he could do but a bit of empathy from him & maybe offering to check out the room or something would have went a long way.

Much of the property is outdated and wonky. Bags in the hall everyday, making a hazardous transfer to the stairs. No welcoming cafe' or water in a less than welcoming entrance area. Amenities were minimal. The air conditioning unit had no directions was interesting to control.
Positives: great location with wonderful restaurants, shopping and accessibility to many good areas to visit. The hosts were accommodating and polite. The towels and sheets were very clean and the room was picked up daily.

I arrived in Paris after a 10 hour red eye flight from LA. I was so exhausted that as soon as I got in the room I took a quick 90 min nap. When I woke up I realized the AC wasn't working and alerted the front desk. The person there said they would fix it and I went out to explore the city. When I got back late at night, the AC still wasn't working and the night receptionist told me this was a known issue with the AC in that room. I was very annoyed that they sold a room with a known issue and asked for a partial refund. The person working said I'd have to ask the staff in the morning as he was not authorized to do that -- totally fine. After an uncomfortable night, I went to check out in the morning and immediately without any prompting from myself the receptionist began screaming at me, saying it was my fault that I didn't alert them to the AC not working as soon as I checked in. No apology or contrition whatsoever. I also do not understand why they wanted to START the argument with me. I didn't want to deal with any further negativity so I just left. Would absolutely never stay here again. Also the rooms are small and ugly and not at all suitable for a stay of more than one night.

For the price, the hotel and the room itself were very fine. Sink is tiny in the bathroom and so is the shower (as an fyi). Bed is quite comfortable. Staff were friendly.

The biggest problem I encountered was that my window opened into a small space surrounded by outer walls that had machines (a/c units?) that hummed and whirred 24/7. It was a loud enough rumbling that my ear plugs barely drowned it out. So the room was far from peaceful or quiet unless I wore noise-canceling headphones, and evidently there was no other room that I could move to. (Admittedly, I’m fairly sensitive to noise - but I can’t quite imagine anyone being happy with those noises.)

I loved the location that was close to the Louvre and walking distance to all my priorities, but I’d only return if I could ensure a room away from the noise of machines.

My room was very small, having ability to walk around the bed on 3 sides. Nowhere to unpack clothes, my suitcase was on the bed every night. Room dark with one small window which. opened onto the airconnditioner service well so when any were in use the noise was terrible.
The overnight receptionist, Serge was extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was a problem. It is because of him that I rate it as high as a 3. I was told the rooms with light and windows were for 2 people and my room was for one

The location was great. A 40 minute walk at most to the furthest tourist attraction. Most are 20 or 30 min. The hotel itself is outdated to say the least. Room is 48 sq ft. The tv didnt work. The toilet was running the whole time. Rooms are street side and noisy. Could hear the next rooms conversations and showers. If you just want a place to crash for 3 nights tops ! consider it just cause of the location, but im sure youncould get more for your money. It was 500 euro for 3 nights. Lil pricey, but u pay for the location ONLY. Btw, bring a bar of soap. They gove you ONE the size of a quarter.

Great hotel in am amazing location! Many reviews mentioned lack of hand towels or AC, but our room had both. The AC was more of a fan though. The hotel is on a quiet side street near many shops and restaurants. 10 minute walk to the Louvre and 15 minute walk to the metro. Felt safe and comfortable. Would HIGHLY recommend.

The location is fantastic, just minutes from the Louvre and the metro (Place de la Concorde). If you like walking, you can do most of Paris centre from the hotel, without the need of using public transportation. The staff is super helpful. Great location in walking distance to Louvre, lovely restaurants and shops. Our goal was Dessert extravaganza. Pierre Herme and La Maison du Chocolate are in walking distance. LOVE!! Close to a Pret a Manger to grab a salad, if you don't want to have a heavy meal. We were on the second floor so only used the elevator to bring our luggage up and down for check in and check out. Loved the spiral stairs. The safe in the room was locked in open position. The night person was able to correct for us upon his shift. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved the old school key, to leave at the desk each time you leave the building. The room was sufficient size for 3 of us. Closet with some hangers. The only thing missing in the room was a dresser for clothes. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to be back again!!

This Hotel is a perfect location for a museum loving guest. It is tucked in an alley, and has zero view, its not lavish, its not many things. Yet, the staff and location really makes a difference. Sandra was helpful even before I arrived emailing back responses and answering questions when I called. The room was nice enough. It had a desk, a refrigerator, a TV and a very European shower, small. You don't stay here for that. You should stay here because you are a simple walk to the Opera House, The Louvre, the D’Orsay, the Orangeries, luxury shopping, amazing restaurants, and 3, THREE major metro lines. We only used an Uber to and from the airport (only because i didn't want too change 3 trains with luggage) . The windows open full for maximum airflow, as there is of course, no A/C. Americans will panic there are no top sheets or hand towels. Pack accordingly. There is a lift, that holds 1 human and luggage. There is a nice seating area downstairs, and the front desk is always attended. You will get a hard key that you must drop off every time to leave. There is complimentary wifi, but it wasn't great. But functional. Wait till you visit a good wifi area to upload 100 images to your social media. It is a single spiral staircase for getting to your room. You can hear big bumps and thuds, but I found the room to be quiet internally. Externally, its on a side road between buildings, so people and cars echo. I hope this helps you. Its a nice place.

Hotel Saint-Roch is a small hotel but the location is convenient and has Louvre and D'Orsay museums and Palais-Royal within walking distance. The major shopping street, Rue Saint Honore', and Place Vendrome are in that area too. There are many restaurants nearby including a pharmacy and a grocery store (Carrefour). The room is rather small and the elevator is VERY small. There is no body wash or shampoo provided. I got an attic and that required hauling my luggage up on the stairs for one floor as the elevator goes up only to one floor below.

Excellent location and easy to find. The Toussy bus from the airport is quite near. My single room is small but it had everything I needed. I enjoyed being cozy!!

Great location for metro bus louvre. Real city feel(daytime some people noise). Clean and elevator. 10’day stay will repeat. Eric was helpful. Thx!
