The rooms were very clean and spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were nice and welcoming and had great suggestions for local restaurants. We also greatly appreciated being able to leave our luggage in a safe storage area in the hotel after check-out while we explored the city before our flight. I would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic hotel

Simply fantastic - very clean, very comfortable. The food at the hotel restaurant (breakfast and dinner) were delicious and affordable. The staff is very polite and attentive. Parking at the garage was great. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Bastia, especially if your ferry arrives late or leaving early - it's just 5 mins drive from the port. There is also a supermarket just 8 mins walking away and some shops like pharmacy and patisserie. Will stay again!

They claim to speak English but they have problems understanding. Also give out poor directions. They are not any help regarding bus or tours. I don’t know what is their purpose besides just checking in people. This does not give me the encouragement to recommend this hotel to my French friends. I had to change my key card THREE times since it stopped working. It was quite annoying and a hassle to wait for them to fix it.

It‘s a nice hotel for a short stay in Bastia. It‘s a bit outside of the city center (10 minutes walking), very cöean and functional. The staff has been very nice and helpful. It has - a great advantage - a garage ffor parking.

This hotel is quite comfortable, but it is a bit difficult to get to, and parking in the area is crazy. Probably not the best choice if you were trying to be close to the airport, and a bit of a walk to the major city tourist attractions. Perfect for a business trip.

They claim to be environmental but nothing about the concept works for me. The bathroom is like a plane toilet, the rooms have rugs. They leave plastic bottled water?! How environmental is that? I feel the concept is to the detriment of the client and only to the benefit of the hotel in cost savings.

Great location to explore the city of Bastia. Hotel is clean, quiet and the service is excellent. Our second stay this year and just as good as the first. Access to the airport or port is very easy. Would recommend.

Allowed an early check in. Hotel is 30 minutes walking distance from the ferry. Bathroom is plastic feels like a China prison. Bed was comfortable. Room was too small and completely opposite from Expedia photographs. Stay else where if you can.

Lovely hotel - on the map doesn't indicate it's at the top of a very steep hill!!! However there is a bus service which stops nearby which we discovered later! Staff very friendly and accommodating.

There is a car park but it is underground and not suitable to high vehicles or roof boxes

Especially good to get guaranteed access to secure overnight parking when the ferry was so late arriving. Delightful room and great breakfast. A real rest stop between ongoing journeys. Great NICE hotel Absolute find.

After a very late ferry, finding Best Western with very helpful english speaking staff, this was a godsend after a long day of travel. Quiet room, great rest, excellent secure parking, nothing too much trouble for helpful and very pleasant staff. Assistance in finding our way onward. Most definitely recommended.

Mediocre inexpensive town hotel in Bastia

The room was small and the bathroom bit was like a mobile home plastic pod. Functional but not a pleasant experience. The shower did actually work fine as did the loo and washbasin it just wasn't nice. The kettle decided to boil itself in the middle of the night - quite eerie. The Aircon switch crackled and made alarming electrical noises whenever it turned itself on. The cups for tea and coffee were cardboard and most unpleasant to use. Also whisky dissolved them - oops.
The TV remote control took two visits to reception to get it to work and then only when it wanted to. There was no outside space to sit apart from the road outside. The magnifying mirror in the room was not near the basin for shaving and was too high up for makeup. The kettle was directly below the TV so the steam will damage that in time.
We had 5 nights at the Best Western Hotel at L'ile Rousse before and all the above were massively better - even the breakfast - scrambled eggs, bacon and tomato

A well kept up property with a comfortable bed & decent-sized rooms. Our room had a sort-of space age bathroom, it was nice and clean but a little goofy. The walk up the hill to the hotel from the train term.is quite a trek. Neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, only marked down for its altitude! Cab to ferry terminal was 8 euro.

Nice hotel far from the center

Hotel was what you expect from a best Western. Clean and nice personnel. Helped me identify a running route which was kind, also filled my water bottle and put ice in it. Nice touch.
Wifi was strong - which is a rarity in Corsica.

Room was crowded for 3 people at the price we paid, but then again it was the height of the August season.

Note there is a walk from downtown and the ferry. Over 1km. and uphill. Keep that in mind.

Pros: I loved our stay at the BW in Bastia - very clean rooms, friendly staff, and located close to downtown. The hotel was super easy to find from where the ferry dropped us off and it's located next to a supermarket (through the back of the building). Good quality & free wifi.

Cons:
If you are walking, it is on a bit of hill.

Zunächst: das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist mE - wie eigentlich immer bei Best Western - top. Mein Zimmer war ruhig, sehr sauber, allerdings auch sehr klein, obwohl es schon eine Zimmerkategorie höher war. Das Hotel liegt ok - ca. 10-15min vom Zentrum und vom Hafen entfernt. Für meine Zwecke (1ÜN in der Nähe des Airports) mehr als ausreichend.

Gutes Hotel um Stadt und Umland zu erkunden

Unser Zimmer war sauber und ruhig, obwohl es zur Straße lag. Klarer Pluspunkt ist, dass man vom Hotel schnell aus und in die Stadt kommt. Auch den Fitnessraum haben wir gerne genutzt.
In 15 Minuten kann man in die Stadt laufen.
Wir würden wiederkommen.

parkeren kan bij de accomodatie, maar wij parkeerden ergens in de buurt, met een bestelbus is de parkeergarage te laag, maar openbaar parkeren is gratis, dus geen probleem.

The workers at the hotel are very prepared, they know English and can help you with all your needs. Rooms are good and very clean. Only thing I wouldn’t recommend is having the “express breakfast”, the brioches are very small and the orange juice is industrial one.
