We have been quite disappointed with the place. However it seems to be more of hotels.com mistake.
The place was advertised as pet friendly with wifi etc… and for the price we paid we would expect some kind of comfort.
Apparently the property does not accept pets so they put us in an annexe outside of the property (just next door). The heating was electric but the house not ring well isolated with very cold floor it was quite freezing. After one shower there was no hot water left for my partner.
I had to use towels to put on the floor as it was not possible to walk barefoot. Too cold.
The owner lend us a kettle but there was no mug and no tea/coffee available. No wifi.
It was pretty basic and not what we would expect for 75€.
Also we were asked to pay at the arrival when it should be when leaving in the morning.
The breakfast was fine. But we had an argument initially with the owners because we made a reclamation. No refund was agreed from them. We got one from hotels.com.
So it’s been a series of misunderstandings mainly due to some mistakes in the advertising.

Pleasant stay.

An agreeable one night stopover in a room in a little house in the grounds rather than the main house. Room OK if rather small. Excellent breakfast and lovely host. Nice setting with transport cafe only half a mile away serving good food.

We stayed in the annex which was very comfortable, it does have 2 rooms and our only complaint would be that the other couple were quite noisy until 12pm. Lovely breakfast and great hosts. Very scenic area and would recommend the hotel.

Lovely B&B. So much better than a chain stopover.

Found the B&B without a problem , its jut 5 minutes from motorway. Signposted when 500m from turnoff.
Met by Anna on arrival , filled out registration and shown to our very spacious bedroom which is just as shown in the pictures. We arrived at 9pm in June ,the local restaurants close at 9pm. We had a choice of takeaway pizza or mcdonalds. Not the hosts fault but something to be aware of.
Slept extremely well and breakfast was at agreed time of 8am. Freshly baked bread and croissants with a fair choice of spreads , cheese and meats.
Will definitely book again on our yearly trip to and from Spain.

A very good hotel

The room was enormous and we had a garden overlooking the Lot River. Everything was provided. However the wifi was not very good and the staff even lent us their computer but the wifi still faded a lot of the time. The restaurant was closed which was a little disappointing as we really wanted to go but we were advised in advance. All in all I would recommend this hotel for a stop over.

Will return here some day. Not only very comfortable, but an exceptionally high level of decor which blended antiquity and modernity in a very tasteful manner. The remarkable breakfast provided by the delightful Anna was presented with some panache and a deserved level of pride. Allow time to find the location, especially if arriving in the dark!

One night stop over

One night stop on the way back home, great rural location, very friendly and welcoming hosts. We stayed in the chalet away from the main house, which was great. Breakfast at the main house was a perfect start to the day - I've never had Tiramisu for breakfast before! Overall, very good, and I'm sure we would return if travelling that way again.

A lovely B&B in a quiet location

Picked this B&B for an overnight stop based on previous reviews and we weren't disappointed. A lovely property in rural France that is beautifully decorated and very well looked after. Anna is a delightful character and nothing was too much trouble after we arrived by motorcycle, very tired after a long ride from Spain. She made us freash coffee, booked a table at a local restaurant and arranged a taxi for us. We has a fantastic breakfast before an early start the next day but would love to return for a longer stay. One warning - my satnav didn't take us to the right place so check the location on a map!

Stylish B&B is a lovely Setting

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay with Anna on the way down through France to Cahors. Anna's home is really tastefully decorated and everything felt like it was top quality. Our family room was really spacious and very clean - as was the bathroom. Anna was very welcoming and a lovely host to both us and the kids. Her breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

L’hébergement en chalet n’est pas ce que nous attendions . La propriétaire est charmante et je conseille de privilégier les chambres qui sont dans sa demeure , magnifique du XVIII avec un splendide parc . Le petit déjeuner est généreux et diversifié.

Séjour agréable au calme.
Excellent petit déjeuner.
Je regrette seulement d'avoir été logée dans une chambre à côté de la maison sans aucun cachet. Rien à voir avec la maison des hôtes. Ce point n'était pas indiqué dans la description du lieu !!
Pas de wifi ni télé.. bien lire les indications données ce que je n'avais pas vu lors de la réservation.

Une découverte à retenir !

C'est la deuxième fois que nous passons par La Bribaudonnière et avons de nouveau été enchantés par l'accueil d'Anna , notre hôte et son attention. Le calme, le décors, la chambre magnifique, tout était parfait. Sur les conseils d'Anna, avons dîné dans un petit restaurant à l'excellent rapport qualité-prix. Nous y retournerons ... assurément

La llegada fue bastante difícil, no lográbamos encontrar el hotel pues de noche no hay iluminación en ese sector y debido a que no teníamos celular no podíamos llamar a expedia o al hotel para pedir instrucciones. La habitación era básica nos gustó la limpieza y la privacidad de la habitación, estaba ubicada en una pequeña cabaña cerca a la casa principal. Sin embargo aún les falta organizar mejor su infraestructura, podrían tener teléfono en la habitación para comunicarse con la dueña del hotel o al menos un timbre en el portón de la casa principal pues al siguiente día debíamos salir antes de lo previsto y no teníamos como avisarle a la dueña tratamos de pitar desde el carro pero nadie salió a abrir el portón, tuvimos que irnos a un Mc Donald's a 9 km para conectarnos a internet y al llamar al hotel la dueña nos dijo que debíamos devolvernos para pagarle pues no se podía hacer el pago a través de expedia.com o vía telefónica con ella, por ende tuvimos que regresar y perder el recorrido avanzado hacia París.

Immediately after registering, the hostess informed us that the price we paid on the internet did not include breakfast. She demanded another 10 Euros. I refused on principle, since it clearly stated breakfast was included in the advertisement. We only stayed the night due to the late hour. This is an example of fraudulent \"bait and switch\".
The \"chalet\" is 200 meters from the main house, so there is no internet. It was recently renovated and separated into 2 rooms, however they used a hollow interior door instead of a solid sound-proof door to separate the rooms. You can hear everything from the other room; the lack of privacy is disconcerting!

Nous avons été accueillies pour une chaleureuse dame .Chambre spacieuse,lumineuse,propreté impeccable.
Concernant le petit déjeuner il était très bon et varié.
Un havre de paix .Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

B&B très calme, zénitude

Pour trouver le B&B, programmer le GPS, sinon des panneaux indiquent le lieux. Regarder la photo pour voir à quoi ça ressemble avant d'arriver, ça aide à trouver. Bon accueil, après quelques minutes d'adaptation à l'accent Italien (de Venise) un peu marqué, mais ça va. J'ai pris la chambre avec le lit 2 places dans la petite maison attenante, très sympa. Pas de wifi dans cette chambre, se déplacer dans le bâtiment principal pour l'avoir (à 100m). Partant à 6h30 tous les matins et la cuisine n'ouvrant pas avant 8h, je n'ai pas pu bénéficier du \"breakfast\", donc pas d'avis sur ce sujet. Pas de soucis, puisque plein de supermarché dans le coin pour acheter ce qu'il faut et présence d'une bouilloire dans la \"partie commune\" qui permet de se faire chauffer de l'eau, avec table et chaises qui permet de prendre un petit dej correct. Très belle région puisqu'on peut visiter plein de châteaux (aussi bien historiques que cavistes).

le charme est dans l'habitation principale

Excellent accueil dans un endroit charmant avec un petit déjeuner où les spécialités italiennes sont à tomber. Il faut cependant loger dans l'habitation principale car le chalet au fond du jardin n'a pas de charme. Nous avions une toute petite chambre dans ce chalet vendue pour 24m2 qui n'en faisait même pas 20 salle de bain incluse.

Très déçus.

Très déçus. Nous avions booke une chambre pour 2 dans cette maison qui semblait absolument magnifique et pleine de charme. Nous nous sommes retrouvé dans la cabane au fond du jardin et n'avons vu que la façade et la salle petit déjeuner de la maison. Chambre toutefois immaculée, enfin, jusqu'à ce qu'une bande de cafards vienne nous tenir compagnie dans la nuit en nous grimpant dessus! ,Anna s'est occupée de ce problème des le lendemain et la nuit suivante fut sans invités indésirables. Bref, c'est cher et la réalité ne correspond pas à ce que nous attendons en vouant les photos. Le lit est de confort tres moyen, le petit déjeuner est bon, ,Anna est de bon conseil pour les restaurants.

Fantastique et charmant accuei

Une incroyale étape à la Bribaudonnière. Un endroit de charme, d'histoire.... Italienne! Anna est fantastique et son accueil chalereux, convivial, le sourire aux lèvres.
La vieille maison, complice, est pleine de souvenirs de cette petite femme. Entourée de livres, de vieux meubles et d'objets familiaux! Un petit paradis, oasis au milieu des champs de tournesol!
