The hotel in general seems to be in disrepair. The toilet paper holder had been ripped out of the wall, the A/C was VERY loud and didn’t really work, and the shower head was broken. It was supposed to be smoke free, but you could smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom, likely from a vent shared with the neighboring room. The pictures on Expedia are NOT for this hotel.

On the plus side, it was very cheap. And you get what you pay for. The room was also large, there were no bugs, and though I don’t think the floor was particularly clean it was hard surface (no carpet) which made it feel clean.

The staff were friendly.

Took a very long time to get someone to come to the desk. He stressed the fact that there was a hot tub in the bathroom but did not mention that there was no shower. Had to re-locate. No Kleenex, no shampoo, no blow dryer. Air conditioner was blowing even though it was cold and icy out. Next day no one was there after checking twice and calling.

Bed was clean and staff very helpful. Beyond that this place is very old and barely holding together. I hope they remodel the entire place. Heavy smell to mask the smoking and old smell. Not at all $100 a night value.

We got there at 3:00 Christmas morning the lady in the front desk told us we could check in early then later on that evening when I went to get more towels she told me we were supposed to be out of the room by 12:00 Christmas Day the same day I paid for the room there was hardly any towels in there the water pressure was horrible the refrigerator was leaking I wouldn't recommend this hotel not for my worst enemy

Was clean. But no hair dryer. No tissues. And the air conditioner was dirty. People where loud. First time here it was nice. Second time not so nice. I had to carry all my stuff up the stairs no one told me if there was a elevator or not and I'm handicapped. Housekeeping is friendly and so was the lady at the front.

Never Again Motel 6

Motel 6 was very bad. The front desk refunded our money and we went to a different hotel - Marriott. Cigarette burn holes in the bed spreading for a non-smoking room. Room smells liked smoke and the towel rack hanging off the wall. I have pictures.

We arrived very late 1am due to traffic conditions but our check in was pretty easy, no concerns. Upon entering the room, it apeared ok. We soon realized there were NO towels. The toliet had one screw holding the seat on so it made using the bathroom very uncomfortable. The next morning i went downstairs for towels only to be questioned as to if i had any towels in the room. My respone was, \"No, none\". She gave me a questionable look and gave me 1 set and was told that was all she had. The next morning i brought the dirty towls down and asked for 2 cleann sets. I got the same exact response, same employee, only this time she gave me 2 sets. We were given no housekeeping services during our 3 night stay. We checked out 9/1. As we were going down the stairs, we encountered an employee, sitting on the stairs, smoking cannabis. We had heavy bags, etc She did not move and we had to maneuver around her which was dangerous for me because i have a knee injury. . We usually stay in Ripley because we come to Ripley every Labor Day. This was a bad experience for choosing to stay in Covington this time.

Alright for a night

Stayed one night. The bed had all the comfort of a trampoline without the fun — every move popped, cracked, and made me wonder if I’d end up on the floor by morning. The floors looked like they’d seen some things, and the bathroom could use a spa day. On the bright side, the AC could probably refrigerate meat, so no complaints there. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a collection of friendly reminder signs like “Don’t be an easy target” and “Use the deadbolt and chain lock.” Nothing says “sweet dreams” like thinking you might need to barricade the door. All in all, it did the job for the night, but I’ll let someone else have my spot next time.

Room was clean and beds were clean and comfortable. However, the information said 2 queen beds and the room had 2 double. Part of the night lock was missing on door so not usable. I moved the desk chair in fron of door for more security. Shower and tub combination but no way to turn on shower. Lobby was locked and check in and check out was done at small night service window. We checked in at 8:14 p.m. and checked out at 7:48 a.m. local time. No breakfast was offered.

We had to change our room 3times because the air conditioner was broken the floors looked so sparkling walked around the room my brand new socks were blac as ever which means housekeeping not mopping the floors half cleaning the rooms sorry but i will not be staying here again and the pool wasnt working in 100 derees come on

I never stayed, your company does not have quality control. When I arrived after a 10 and a half hour drive from Michigan to Tennessee, I discovered that my room was in horrible shape. Hole in the shower was fixed with plaster, the front door did not seal all the way around light was visibly coming through a closed door, furniture was tattered, etc. I had to request a refund after trying two times to find a room in that establishment that was satisfactory.

Really disappointing considering it was the only hotel that allowed pets. I literally walked up the street to two separate establishments to find where I'm staying at currently. Hotels.com caused major inconvenience simply because they do not research and keep up quality on the hotels they suggest to the users of their app. That needs to change before I ever use your service again.

Pets are “welcome” but they’re really not. They critique everything your pets do and act like they’re burdens. Told me my dogs couldn’t use the restroom on the property that I had to take them to the Mexican resteraunt next door. Absolutely one of the worst places I have ever stayed due to customer service. Shower head was broke off the wall. Pillows were thin as paper. No shampoo or anything.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful but the older lady that was there wasn’t very pleasant we had to bring out our dirty towels and they never cleaned the 3 days we were there. The back of the door was filthy when I went to shut it I felt something sticky. Overall I rate it as a 21/2

Low income hell hole

The front desk lady was totally rude and she was there everyday I avoided her as much as possible. The pool was nasty. There were cigarette burns all over everything. I see why it was so cheap. This place is a total dump. When I first got to my room I didn’t think the air conditioner worked but they turn off the circuit breaker to it when no one stay there. The jacuzzi tub was nasty and the caulking all over it looked like it was done by Tim Taylor. The floor was nasty. Also if you spend so much time there why not deep clean your rooms and add a fresh coat of paint replace the doors with fist holes in them. Update all your stuff so you can charge more money. Power wash your concrete.

THE ROACH MOTEL

I booked a nonsmoking room and the room reeked of smoke and the smell of old bug spray. I notified the front desk as soon as I walked in and she told me there was nothing they could do about the smell of smoke in a nonsmoking room. I asked for another room and the front desk stated they had long term guess and all the room where in use that was the only available room. I thought it was because we got in late. We called all the other motels they were booked to truckers so we had to stay at the room it was hot and musty smelling we woke up and there were roaches crawling every my small child had screamed because they were in the bed. I notified the front desk and she said we brought them with us so she didn’t want to refund us for our stay not close out the rest of our stay so I contacted hotels.command stated that the motel had little house for bugs around the room DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Perfect price for our needs

We just needed a place to sleep for one night & had a hard time finding a decent priced room because it was last-minute. The price was VERY reasonable & reviews were average. Check in was easy. The room had a VERY strong odor of pot and was a non-smoking room. So I made the front desk aware immediately so we would not be charged for smoking. They offered to move us, which I declined. I just wanted them to be aware! Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Sofa was dirty but we were not hanging out in the room much so it did not matter. TV did not have many options & was fuzzy. It was actually a quiet stay too. It was fine for our needs while in the area.

Nice economical hotel

I stayed at this location due to the fact that a recent ice storm took out the electrical power and it was too cold to stay in a house without utilities.

This Motel 6 was one of the nicer ones I have ever stayed in. The room was very clean and in pretty good repair. The heat worked a little too well. This location was in walking distance to a few decent places to eat where I didn't have to drive on potential slick roads. The only problem I had was the walls were a little thin and I could hear my neighbors.

This is the only property in town that allows pets so we stay here every year on our journey south and back. Everything was fine, nothing fancy, older furnishings but clean and everything worked. Bed comfortable and area quiet at night. Employees are all friendly and helpful. No breakfast, but McDonald's within walking distance. Nice to have Mexican restaurant right next door.

Great dog friendly hotel.

We actually drove up from Memphis to stay in a small town. Motel is right on the strip. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.
The room was clean with newer flooring. Parking is limited in front of the rooms. We checked in late so we had to park in front of the building.
Check in was easy. Check out was a breeze.

Was locked out of lobby. Was told person was coming, but had to call to get any response. Had a reservation for 4, but was asked if one bed was enough. Only had 2 towels, when asked for 4 more, (I have girls). Only wanted to give me 2. Paid on line but wanted to know how I was paying. Will not stay at another motel 6. Especially if run by a Patel
