The Days Inn by Wyndham in Covington was not up to the standards of other Days Inn facilities I’ve stayed at. It’s an old hotel that is somewhat run down and not particularly clean. The bottom of my white socks turned black from walking across the room only a few times without shoes. On the second day of my 4-day stay, the floor was apparently mopped with a dirty mop and was sticky and smelled bad for the remainder of my stay. My room wasn’t serviced on the 3rd day, I’m not sure why, The toilet paper and tissue in the room was the worst I’ve ever seen. I had to ask for toilet paper at the front desk because there wasn’t much to begin with and it wasn’t being replaced the two times the room was serviced. The towels are small, worn and stained. On the bright side, the room was inexpensive and the bed and pillows were comfortable so I was able to sleep well. Next time I’ll pay a little more to stay in a better hotel.

When i got to the hotel, the checking in process was very easy and the man behind the counter was very chatty. He was very nice.
When i got to my room, although it was like any other standard room i had been in, the front door had been bashed in so that needed fixing and the entire room could have done with a jolly good paint as there were lots of chips taken out and in the bathroom it was the same down the door and walls.
The shower would have been lovely except the temperature i wanted it at meant i only got a dribble as it was so close to the switch off point.
The main light as you come.into the room was not working.
Besides that, it was a pleasant stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, the TV had a good mix of channels, enjoyed having the fridge for keeping drinks cool and although i didn't use it, i liked having the microwave too.

1st room Refrigerator did not work and the room was unclean. 2nd room a little cleaner but not much. Hairs everywhere, dead bugs, cob webs. No lamp shade, door to outside did not close properly. Mold in grout in shower. Breakfast what Breakfast 2 yogurt in fridge maybe 2 pieces of bread 2-3 muffins no fruit orange juice was out. Waffle mix so thinned out it barly made a Waffle. And to top it off Fox entertainment was on the tv and the connection was so bad it broke up every few seconds. Something neutral should be on not that. Over all this was the nastiest room i have stayed in.

Booked the room for 3 days from 11/27-11/30. There was no internet when I called the front desk they said they just got a new cable company about 2 weeks before I arrived. I feel as though they should’ve informed me about that in the beginning. There was also no hot breakfast option just cereal & toast. Along with sour “fruit” juice.

The room we stayed in was not at all in good conditions. The bathroom didn't close probably. There was some brown stains on the tube, no one wanted to shower. The fire alarm didn't have batteries and was opened. The most concerning part was the latch on the door was broken. We had to use a small couch infront of the door for some security.

This was not the room in the advertisement. It was dirty, had cobwebs & spiders along with some kind of unknown specimen on the walls. The mirror was sitting on the ground propped up against the wall and held back with the broken hand towel rack. The room stunk and also had someone else’s hair and chipped nail polish on the floor. The “continental breakfast” was a bowl of cereal and a waffle maker, again not like described in the advertisement. Had it not been almost midnight I would’ve went to another hotel!

The check in was fast and the room was easy to find. The breakfast is very minimal and not that great unless you just like the waffles.

The bed was sooo comfy but the sheets had minor stains on them and the room smelled like smoke when I walked in even though it was non-smoking. The floors seemed really dirty although they might have been cleaned… not sure.. the shower was clean but we didn’t use it. The building is very old so there’s scratches and indentations and… yeah idk.. needs more renovation but i slept pretty well. Great for one night!

Checked into this motel while running through town, the outside was a mess with shopping carts, trash, random bins topped over on sidewalk/in parking lot. The room itself was dirty, smelled, had things crusted in the jetted tub and was very gross, the lock for the door was broken so could not lock, the curtain was hanging and was unable to fix so no privacy. Checked in & out within 15 minutes.

I didn’t even stay at this place because it was so disgusting and dirty the sheets had human fluids on the sheets and the room smelled like cigarettes had just been smoked and they didn’t even bother to change those disgusting sheets so I told the front desk clerk I wasn’t going to stay there and I asked for a full refund of my deposit and I still have not received my money yet.

The only reason why I go to this property. It's cause it's convenient and it's decent price. The décor/flooring walls. Everything is outdated needs changed. The breakfast that they serve the cereal, the container was broken on both. They had no muffins that one and it was stale that has been like a month old or so, there is no fruit. Nothing like that. I could barely get the orange juice thing to work.That was lacked, it seemed like they had their family members in the office during breakfast, they were all lounged everywhere. I'm pretty sure they're not guessed due to the fact that they were there when I checked in and the cars were gone at night. They came back the following morning. I ended up throwing everything away.

They need a series update. Some of the front desk clerks are not nice. There's one young lady there that was sweet and asked all the right questions. It may checking in easy.

Never get a room on the backside, unless you want to smell like straight up pot everything from top floor down to the back, the backside is very sketchy i wouldn't park my vehicle back there? I parked straight at the office

A flea jumped on me in the lobby, the TV only had 1 channel, the WiFi and cellular service was terrible, the toilet was not full secured to the floor, the room was not comfortable at all. For the rate I paid, it was underwhelming to say the least. I was in a slight emergency situation and the location was convenient for my immediate needs but it’s not a place I would choose to stay at or recommend to anyone.

I wanted the cheapest option so I guess I paid for what I wanted, but the room was super disgusting. Granted, it was the “smoker room” but I still feel that it should be of better quality. The extra lock was broken, there were holes in the walls, some of the appliances were not properly fixed to the walls, and the sheets were gross. The toilet didn’t flush well. I asked for extra sheets, and we did not use the pillows that they provided. I didn’t feel very safe with the broken extra lock. The front desk was accommodating, I’ll give them that.

This was a horrible experience . My reservations had been made. When we arrived it took an act of congress to find the entrance. Then I went in to check in and was told my room had been given away and the clerk tried to bully me into another room that did not meet our needs. The area was poorly lit outside with a group of men standing around outside. The lobby was not clean and smelled horrible. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We found a sticky froot loop on the phone, and the previous overnight peoples trash. Wasn't no big deal, luckily I brought chlorox wipes. Overall it was a good stay, my girls and I had a blast.

I will start by saying that the front desk was pleasant. THere is limited free breakfast of dry goods and make self waffles. Juices, teas, coffees ECT. Standard quick get . Parking is easy and ample. Lighting is good and there seems to be limited shadow areas. The pool was closed and appeared for that, closed, in safe keeping. The room was extremely large.The jetted tub had to be cleaned before use. When the tub was first filled and turned on, oil like residue with black grim appered to ring the tub. The shower was hard to use due to the handle not working properly and low water pressure. The place is out dated and needs a revamp. These are of concern however my largest concern was 'the lady of the night' that seemed to be standing to near me and my car as I went to leave. For this reason alone, I would not return. I have no issues with how one makes a living, I had a problem with how I felt getting in my car. There's a micro, min fridge, tv, free wifi, a love seatthat pulls out into a bed is in the sitting area. The large ketted tub actually sits directly off the sleeping area. THe wc has shower vanity toilet. Bed was huge and clean to the eye.

i didn't feel safe or clean. We cleaned the whole room before we went to bed. My Mother experienced difficulty breathing due the smoke residue in the room. The door was not securely locked due adjustments was needed to the door.

Nice little motel and friendly workers

Very nice people that worked at the desk. The room service was nice and got what you needed. Quite little motel close to Covington Square we went for The Vampie Diaries and it was like 4 minutes from the square where TVD stuff is. I’ll be staying there again when we go back. It was convenient to stores and dining.

You can definitely tell it’s an extended stay, with all the people hanging out made me feel unsafe. My non- smoking room smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes, floors had all this hair on it as if it hasn’t been swept or mopped, the bottom blanket had long black && blonde hair. I will never book again

The bed sheets upon arrival had boogers on them, there was hair all over the tub and bathroom floor, and the floors were dirty. The staff is very friendly, however, I feel the place could use a very good deep cleaning. We had two rooms booked, and there were cleanliness issues with both. My overall experience here was not great, and the only positives were the beds were pretty comfy and the staff was so kind.

Had we not driven for 24 hours straight on the way here, and arrived at 7:30AM after leaving our home at 7:30AM the day prior, we would have gone to a different place.
