The elevator wasn't working and my room was on the 3rd floor. The walls in the rooms are thin and the people next door had their TV on loud all night. There was an adjoining door and the light from the next room shined into my room all night. The light on the room phone kept flashing red without any messages. Pillows were terrible. Old property needs some privacy updates. Not staying there again.

My room was so comfortable, very clean & a pleasant experience.
The Breakfast Buffet was very, very nice. It had the expected breakfast food which I feel satisfies most everyone. Plus, had items that would work for food sensitive guests.
The Lounge Bartenders were great…friendly, engaging & mixed incredible drinks as well as the typical standards.

I highly recommend this Hotel & will be staying there again.

We got in at 1am and wanted to shower before bed. The toiletries consisted of a single bar of soap to split between the shower and the bathroom sink. No shampoo or conditioner. That wouldn’t have been so bad if the complimentary breakfast hadn’t given us food poisoning to ruin the rest of our trip. Beds were okay. Card reader for the door was touchy.
If I had to stay in safford area again it wouldn’t be here.

Best Western Safford was disappointing. It’s remote, few good dining options nearby and trash both in the parking lot and piled in the areas around the ice machine. I would not stay at this property again and happy to move on.

Thevproperty was great. However, I had to request shampoo, conditioner, etc. No in the room and they ran out of most of the breakfast items an hour before breakfast ended. And there was noone there or at the front desk to ask for more. And I only saw someone at the front desk twice the entire time I was there.

The room was updated including new towels and sheets. The hallways were warm, but the rooms were cold. The room could be a tad cleaner, but was decent. Quiet, considering it was occupied by a lot of the miners that work nearby as they all get up a lot earlier than I did. Was only there 1 night for a work trip so it was ok. I would stay here again if the price went down. Definitely wasn't worth $166 a night.

Friendly staff

It’s been forever since I’ve encountered ALL staff members to be friendly and helpful. It’s clean, rooms are spacious. Pillows need more variety in sizes/thickness. Bed mattress runs slightly firm BUT not uncomfortably hard, I like softer beds but slept well. Was disappointing that their coffee/hot chocolate machine was out of order, especially for a weekend because they didn’t have refills for them. Also, we could hear the person above us getting ready at 4am ugh but with the AC, it acts like white noise so one night I didn’t even hear him.
The breakfast was good, when something ran out, I told the lady and she was super quick to make it/bring it out. They offer cereal, oatmeal packets, breads, waffles (they are not the best), fresh eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and yogurt. On Saturday they also had potatoes. They have a refillable water station. We will be staying here again next time we come back.

Better than nothing, but \"cheese omelets\" looked and tasted like fake eggs and were luke warm.Hash browns and potatoes both days were under cooked, luke warm and soggy. But overall, a good place to stay for the price. If you want an actual good breakfast , go out to eat.

The motel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very good. The pool area looked as if it had not been cleaned in a few days . The bed was comfortable , the pillows were very hard. Overall it was a good stay, but definitely not worth the $200 nightly rate. It was the first time we stayed at a Best western Plus.

This is a very nice place to stay and I’m sure we will return. Rooms are clean, comfortable, attractive, and quiet. Laundry room was dirty and in disarray… I don’t often do laundry in a hotel but it was less than ideal here. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were helpful when needed. Espresso machine wasn’t fully working which was a minor bummer. Would be great if they had a small dog potty station somewhere on the grounds but the grounds have some other nice amenities like basketball court and cookout area. Overall great job - thank you!

getting run down quick!

Stayed here a few years ago and it's sort of gone downhill. I think sometimes staff doesn't realize how important the outdoor presentation is. Clean up the smoking area. Just because people smoke doesnt mean we want a dirty area to do so? Broken seating and lack of proper disposal for cigarette butts means a dirty, run down looking area. Keeping parking lots clean keeps your floors/carpets cleaner, too.

This is a very good hotel. Clean and felt like a safe area. We enjoyed our stay and slept very well. There was a nice citrus hand face soap as well. The towels were a bit rough which made a great lufa however, we could have used at least one more large towel. They had a nice large breakfast and long hours to get it. I would have enjoyed some fresh fruit as well. There interesting toppings or fillers for these unusual sourdough waffles. The pool was outdoors and cool but very refreshing. The hot tub was a bit too cool but had pretty good jets. I would go back if Inwas in that area again.

Pillows to big for us - need an alternate selection. Breakfast very ordinary - scrambled eggs \"just\" warm and plastic utensils were useless. In room, shutters were not a good dark out option for sleep. Lights at bed not good enough for reading and warm vs cool bulbs might be better. Pictures and bedroom carpeting not warm and/or appealing. Couldn't find water in lobby or dining room area? Did we miss it? One employee (guy - forgot his name) very warm and helpful with directions.

Nice fairly new hotel. furnishings were newish. very easy check-in. Good breakfast but had no knives and attendant could not find them. Comfortable bed but pillows were way too fat. Had a stiff neck in the morning as a result. Suggestions - if you provide 2 pillows per person per bed , make the pillows different thicknesses. Room appeared clean but after walking bare foot on the floor a little bit and then stepping into the shower - black dirt came off the bottom of my feet.

I really liked everything about this hotel. My only complaint is that the jacuzzi was out of order, the pool water was too cold to get into due to weather. The front desk staff is excellent, they are professional, polite and friendly. The room was really nice and clean. I would stay here again if they fix the jacuzzi.

Amazing weekend trip! Hotel was perfectly clean, comfortable beds and pillows to want to steal and take home! We had been upgraded for free to a suite due to some new construction, and it was great. Very uncomfortable stay. Bed was lumpy/bumpy soft and AC turned on and off every 5-10 minutes all night long! Both of these ensured we didn’t get a good night’s sleep.
I found bugs running around the bathroom, and
also, they ran out of eggs and fruit with few other breakfast choices by 7:30AM on the weekend. Really?!! For the price paid, all of this is absolutely unacceptable!

For a hotel in a town as small as Safford, this absolutely did the trick. Room was great, wi fi worked well. Shower was a little low on pressure and the second floor had an odd smell but you couldn't smell it in your room. I would stay here again.
