The location is convenient if you’re looking for somewhere close to the airports. The staff I encountered were polite and friendly. However, the property is old and needs a lot of work. The rooms are moist and moldy smelling. The showers are raggedy and dirty. The rooms give 1990s motel vibes. The public areas are decent but the rooms need a complete overhaul especially for the price.

The staff are amazing. Every single one of them. They are so helpful and always smiling. Best hotel staff I've encountered. Even at night, my hotel room was changed when the air con stopped working. The only cons are, the smart TV could not connect to the internet but I barely used it and the shower needs to be updated and taken better care of.

In my room - 512, part of the skirting board was loose and coming off which can cause injury. In the bathroom, the shower screen couldn't keep in all the water from the shower cos the shower door won't close properly causing some of the water to stand on the floor. These becomes a slip hazard.

Staff were very courteous throughout my 5 nights stay. The food was well prepared and tasty, although more can be done about the variety of drinks at the restaurant.

There was no towels, no cups, water was basically empty. The weight was limited to 14kg. The area has potential if there was someone looking after it. But there was nobody. Had a medium work out.and i had to leave because was basically hot and had no towel to dry myself

Room - no towels on arrival. We had to request 3 times and the they eventually provided them. Also, the floorboards were uneven, so created a safety hazard. Further, there was a leak in the bathroom sink, so water tricked into the bedroom.

Catering - everyday they had run out of filter coffee and so we had to request for coffee sachets, often multiple times, before being provided. It was as if they were being rationed.

Room service - I did not order it but I noted the used, dirty plates were left in the stairway for days They were not collected after 2 days A health hazard.

What didn't go well is that I was promised a shuttle to and from the airport, and it didn't happen!
Not only did it not happen, the hotel didn't't answer their phone when I arrived, so I was abandoned, late at night, at the international terminal in Lagos, NG. 😩
Two hours later I found a way to the hotel (for 30,000 NGN). And, because the hotel shuttle runs only on a schedule, not continuously or as needed, I paid another 20,000 NGN to get to the domestic terminal in the morning.
This was a very bad, highly stressful and completely unacceptable, experience. 😔

I've stayed here several occasions usually when I arrive in Lagos and need an early flight the next morning and again the night before I leave for home.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
It's a basic hotel and comfortable. You get what you pay for.
There seems to be plenty of choice for breakfast.
I'd continue to stay there when I visit Nigeria.

The shuttle service from the airport was a very classy convenient touch. They were prompt and very easy!

The hotel was very clean, excellent WiFi and great amenities. The breakfast was great and so was the food in general.

Overall, it was a great lodging experience! Amazing value for money, and outstanding service!

We stayed here earlier and had the king bedroom. This time around, it was only double room available and no other choice than to book what is available. I would have preferred the king's bedroom as they are more spacious and appears to be better maintained. Overall, the bathroom needs lot of updating as there are noticeble rust on the metals on bath door. We also experienced flooding in the bathroom, after complaining it was attended to promplty. The towels are aweful, they need changing. The location and security of this hotel is one of my biggest attraction. Staff generally are polite and helpful.

I stayed at the Hotel Ibis Ikeja for 7 days visiting family. On the plus side, the staff were generally helpful and friendly, and overall the hotel was clean. However, the fabric of the building was shabby and the facilities need updating. The towels were the most threadbare I have ever used, and the gym, while operational, was not well maintained. I know this is marketed as a budget hotel, but I have stayed at other Ibis hotels in the UK and elsewhere that are of a better standard.

Ibis is a value for money no thrills accommodation. The bed is comfortable and the shower is good with strong water flow. I would prefer a new towel though as the towel I got seemed like should be used to wash the floor with it is so thin and worn.
The gym is adequate for both weight and cardio training.
Bfast is ok but cheese is a no show. It is busy in the mornings so best to go early and avoid the queue.

I e stayed here twice now, I recognize it’s hard to run a hotel and I see they had some upgrade from previous years but the whole look inside could better.
