Water temperature was poor every morning. Bar menu needs upgrading. Nextdoor's The One menu needs to be looked at to compare what is being offered locally! Too many clients were going out to eat, where Rhapsody could offer good food if they were more imaginative.
Lovely staff, wonderful location but just needs more drive & imagination.

A hidden gem in Kalkan. Just stayed in two rooms for one week and we loved this hotel. Quiet position back from the road with the most amazing views over the bay. Walked to the harbour in 10 minutes and a 2 minute walk from nearby shops and restaurants. The manager Ozge and her staff were so professional, helpful and so attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was spotless. Bedrooms very comfortable and modern with great views from the spacious balconies. The maids were the best I have ever seen. They were so thorough! The rooms were immaculately cleaned every day. Breakfast was varied and hot and cold choices every day. Delicious. The hotel had a good sized pools with ample loungers and lots of umbrellas and served tea and cake by the pool every day at 5! I rarely recommend hotels but have no hesitation here. Fantastic wee place.

Incredible!

Elixir is by far the most amazing hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The grounds and pool area are stunning, tranquil and relaxing, the rooms spotlessly clean and service second to none. The breakfast food was tasty and fresh with a good selection each day, plus eggs cooked to order was a nice touch. Cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced and the staff were so friendly. The hotel is about a 10 minute stroll from the Main Street of bars and restaurants, or a taxi is just a couple of £ and very easy to get. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and we were sad to leave! Thank you team elixir!

End of May 2023. Good holiday accommodation.

The location of the hotel was perfect, Not to close to noise but close enough to walk to the town. The daily cleaning of hotel and rooms was excellent, very friendly staff and helpful . Spa was good and not too expensive. Hotel manager greeted us personally with a warm welcome. Breakfast was ok but could be a a little better. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Just returned from Kalkan . The hotel is in an excellent position- only 15 mins walk from the centre and the lovely beach club of Yali Beach . Staff are very friendly and the hotel is spotless. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size . Altogether a great hotel at a great price 👍🇹🇷😃

We had a super stay at the Rhapsody. We had a premium room with sea view (room no. 1112) at a very reasonable price via Expedia. The room was spacious, lots of storage , good aircon, a balcony overlooking the pool area, with a good sea view as well. The bathroom was spacious with a walk-in shower. The room was spotless and you could elect to have the room cleaned everyday. The TV channels were limited but that's the norm in most places abroad. The only negative for me was the rather firm bed, I need a little more softness for my old bones (a topper would do the trick).
The breakfast was very good, some hot offerings, some typical Turkish pastries and lots of fruit, yogurt and honey. Perfect for us but maybe not if you are looking for a full English! Lovely lady on reception who spoke very good English. All in all a great stay.

The hotel is run by a young new team and they are trying very hard to get things perfect. All the staff are very helpful and polite and will help you wherever they can. They are working on improving the breakfast but we enjoyed what was on offer, it’s a Turkish breakfast after all.
Very clean in all aspects. The spa is also fantastic, so much so we went twice!!

Modern hotel. Room well laid out and everything works. Room fairly clean but room for improvement in bathroom. Breakfast room badly organised and serviced, shortages on cutlery, cups, forks and silly stuff which really should be done better. Good pool but only one umbrella to four sun beds. Some ripped and in poor condition. Umbrella bases stacked in a corner so it looks like umbrellas have broken and not replaced. Sun bed covers threadbare or holed. Not good enough. Staff very pleasant but badly lead and managed.

Position in relation to town was good. The pool very good and clean.
Did not like that sun disappeared behind building by about 4.30 and there were no facilities to use a good roof top terrace- no beds or umbrellas. Not enough umbrellas around pool. Breakfast could be improved, quality not brilliant, more cafe than restaurant, cleared away before time set. Cleaners v good. Needs some TLC. When taking breaks staff should not use guest areas to smoke and drink, very off putting. As this is not an expensive probably should accept, as you only get what you pay for. Shame really as it could be a great hotel, has lot of potential with little more direction from management. Still having said all this still love Kalkan. As school reports say - Could do better !!!!

Due to being over the reception area we were disturbed with people traffic and the staff setting up at 7 am

This is a gorgeous quiet hotel, with all the amenities you need. The location is perfect, a ten minute walk and you are in the centre of Kalkan with a wide choice of shops and restaurants. The views from all of the rooms is spectacular looking over the bay.

Hotel and staff were fabulous. Location is great with a 10 minute stroll to main town and a taxi up hill back home, the hills are a killer in the heat. Only room for improvement, in my opinion, is the breakfast choice. There’s a variety to choose from but the food is cooked to far in advance and kept warm. Also, someone is obviously spending a lot of time baking pastries which looked delicious but totally unappealing at breakfast and more than anything it was sad to see the waste.
We really enjoyed staying at the rhapsody and would definitely stay there again.

We had to wait nearly an hour to go to our room as it was not ready. First night went for a drink at the bar at 9.30 to be told the bar was closed, a member is staff volunteered to serve us but had no local eg raki. Second day we arrived back to our room at 4.00 room hadn’t been cleaned they came around 5.00. The room itself was nice with a jacuzzi but there were nails sticking up so you had to be careful.Toilet decided not to work the next day. One wall was yet to be plastered as only a stud wall and electric socket was hanging out of the wall but the location was good in walking distance of the town. WiFi was terrible so intermittent it was not worth using

We didn’ Stay at the Rhapsody they decided to close the hotel early with 2 days notice. They arranged for us to stay at the Samira Exclusive Hotel which was a more expensive hotel. It was nearer the main part of town and the port. So after the initial disappointment We enjoyed it!

The pool area was well kept and quiet
The only criticism is the breakfast
It was basic and that was fine for us but the cooked food wae left to stand in a heated container and that didnt really work

This is an absolutely fabulous hotel, every member of staff was so keen to make our stay memorable. Make Sure you visit their wellness spa for a Turkish bath and massage. We will definitely return.

The hotel was as expected very nice , but the bed and bedding were awful ,this definitely needs addressing, the shower flooded the bathroom every day and did not drain away ,very annoying . On a plus side the staff were lovely and the spa and Hamam were fantastic and so cheap definitely worth a visit (thankyou antonia and Ilhan)

This hotel is in a very good position and of a very good standard.We enjoyed our stay here but without the hard-working manager (Antonia),it is difficult to see how the hotel would function.Antonia was superb but the other staff were not customer friendly and seemed to do very little.
The breakfasts were excellent with a good choice every day.

This is the first time I have been abroad on my own and the whole experience was made so extra special by the wonderful staff, lovely room with sea view, swimming pool was kept to a very high standard , so thoroughly enjoyed using that, lots of loungers and umbrellas around. All in all would definitely recommend .

Although it was a nice hotel,and the staff were very pleasant and helpful,,the hotel itself lacked atmosphere and character.
There was only one bar.This was the pool bar.No restaurant or evening entertainment.
For us it was too far away from shops, bars or restaurants.The beach was quite a walk,and access was via a very hot and steep walk!
If we had stayed there during a different month,maybe May orOctober, when the weather was cooler,maybe we would have felt differently about our stay..Unfortunately for us it wasn't the pleasant break we had hoped for.

Fantastic find

The hotels location is great fantastic view of the bay and only a 10 min walk to shops and restaurants.
The Rhapsody is very clean and minimalistic with constant hot water efficient air conditioning very comfortable extra large beds and nice balconies over looking a fantastic pool area.
Breakfast has a good selection of local foods unlimited tea and coffee .
Wouldn't hestitate to recommend the hotel and can't wait to return next year

Part of the family...

We visited Kalkan for the first time last week and stayed at the Rhapsody. Even before we arrived, Antonia was brilliant; arranging our transfers ans making sure everything was sorted.
The hotel is gorgeous; clean and well appointed with great food and a lovely poolside bar. You really could spend all your time just there despite Kalkan being such an amazing place.
Antonia is amazing; welcoming, friendly, professional and efficient. Her and her staff make the hotel special; we felt like we were being welcomed into a family, not just a guest in another faceless hotel.
Please, please go to the Rhapsody. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This was a relaxing stay at a beautiful hotel. Antonia the receptionist is excellent. Very caring and kind. My room was lovely with a gorgeous room and the shower was fabulous. However, the bed was a bit too hard and the breakfast could be better - the coffee from the machine is awful.

Clean and friendly, great location

Really enjoyable stay - would definitely reccomend. Hotel is small but has plenty of space for people wanting to stay round the pool and do some sunbathing. Breakfast was better than I expected with plenty of choice to meet all tastes. Food and drink during the day if you stay pool-side were nice and good value. Great views from pool side of the town and harbour. Friendly staff and super clean room. Only minor gripe was how uncomfortable the bed was! Overall fantastic value.

Rhapsody Hotel - Kalkan, Turkey

It was our 1st trip to Turkey and what a surprise! The hotel was fantastic, exactly how it was described online and in a travel brochure. The staff especially the reception were very helpful and could not do enough for you. The hotel was situated about a 10 minute walk from the town centre / harbour and had the most amazing views over the bay! We have already looked at travel arrangements for a further visit in 2011. Definately a hotel worth staying at!
