Our experience started off on the wrong foot with a slow check-in process and no acknowledgment from the receptionist, which made us feel unwelcome. The hallway and room were noticeably warm—perhaps cozy in winter, but uncomfortable in a tropical climate like this. After settling into the room, we waited 30 minutes for our luggage to arrive, only to end up calling reception ourselves. Overall, the lack of attentiveness and poor climate control made for a less-than-pleasant start to our stay.

Attached to TangCity Mall, it is very convenient. Staff is welcoming and forthcoming. I checked in very early in the morning coming back from umrah. The staff helped me and my wife settled down quickly with food and laundry. Highly recommended.

Came here for a night. Location is the best part for Novotel if you need to be in Tangerang since it has direct access to the mall where you can have your meals and a small grocery shop. The room is basic otherwise.

this hotel is far from the airport around 45 mn drive , the room was ok but old style and the looby and lift very dirty especially during the covid 19 pandemic they should really care about cleanest...the mall next door good for have a meal but not for shopping anything...overall this hotel is quiet expensive for the quality and the location...not Novotel standard .

Love the Pool Deck, and poolside atmosphere.

Room was nice, and clean, with extra Large King Bed. Bathroom was also nice, but lacked some privacy. Breakfast was really good, with lots of different options.
about 30 minute ride to the airport. Right next to the Mall, and massage at spa was also extraordinary.

The Hotel is perfect, it is not close to local areas of interest, but taxis are cheap The restaurant at breakfast is great but twice in the evening there was huge shortages on what was available. Out de the pool gets the sun in the morning but disappears in the afternoon

Lovely Lounge/Pool area

- Love the location of the Hotel, next to the TangCity Mall (hopefully I got the name right).
I could buy food and groceries from that Mall.
- The service was great too, except for the time spent during the check-in and check-out but it was not such a big deal.
- Love the room's interior and given the price that I paid for the stay, it was definitely worth it
But perhaps soundproofing could be improved?
- I went to the Lounge to take the welcome drink and to my surprise found a great place for reading.
It was right next to the pool area and love how they decorate the area surrounding it

Twice disappointed in 2 separate stays

Asked for non smoking but was allocated a smoking room. Requested for bathrobe at point of booking and again at he check in counter but still not provided until I called housekeeping and waited for it. On second day, new tooth brush was not replaced until I called housekeeping.

Easy to to arrange parking. I had some problems with internet, but it was solved quite quickly when contacting hotel. Hotel is next to a shopping mall, so an free afternoon could be spent there. Kind staff, but sometimes I felt I had to wait unnecessarily long time after I made requests. Next time I stay here I will choose the executive room for all nights (includes access to lounge to 20th floor)

Enjoyed my stay , chose Tangerang area as it's closer to airport and quicker to reach . Unlike Jakarta center where I would face rush hour traffic . Novotel Tangerang is a lovely hotel , loved their services and rooms , would definitely let me friends choose this hotel , highly recommended .

A very good hotel close to the airport , if you want to be safe from the amazing traffic of Jakarta , choose a hotel that's nearby to the airport . Tangerang is better because the traffic isn't much and this hotel is perfect . Right from check in to my checkout I felt happy staying here . This hotel is much closer to the airport than downtown Jakarta. However, depending on the route, travel to/from the airport can take nearly as long as travel to/from downtown Jakarta. Be sure to ask the hotel staff to let the taxi driver know when you need to be at the airport.

Most important, hotel in good condition, beds very comfortable. Mall attached has some reasonable food choices. Location is fine if you are needed in this area or just staying at hotel to relax. Hotel staff friendly and try hard. Food and selection is reasonable. Hotel was not busy ,lots of staff, but if you were sitting outside by the pool, the service was hard to come by. Traffic in Jakarta is terrible, airport is roughly a one hour drive from hotel.

Good hotel for family not so far away from Jakarta

I love staying at Novotel group, and even this was my first time in Novotel Tangerang but I still find the same quality service of Novotel that I usually expect. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The food selection and quality for breakfast is good. The swimming pool is good and very clean.
The hotel is adjacent to a shopping mall, so that it is easy to find something to eat if you don't want to eat in the hotel.

I travelled in Jakarta alone. The hotel is near airport but quite far from Central Jakarta. You have to pay around 150,000IDR for single journey to Centre point. 300,000 IDR for round trip. And it takes an hour. But it was great to stay there. The hotel staffs are helpful and good in English.

stayed overnight for airline connection...nice helpful staff. If airlining in or out, to avoid LONG taxi ride and tolls, to and from airport must be via airport perimeter road. call concierge for specific directions to taxi driver, or you'll go on an endless expensive city tour in Jakarta traffic.

Hotel was great BUT not close to the airport. The description saying it is 7km is not true. It is more like 13+km and with traffic this is about an hour! Would not recommend as an airport hotel unless you have a very early morning flight.
