Fukuyama city is a hidden jewel. Most of the bullet trains stop here and the access to major places, including Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Yokohama, Tokyo, and Fukuoka is a direct line. If you want to visit Tomonoura where major movies scenes were taken, including Studio Ghibli and The Wolverine, I highly recommend Fukuyama.

From the moment I arrived at the hotel the staff was amazing. Helpful and accommodating. Everything was clean and comfortable. Multiple restaurants at the hotel and right across the street from the train station with many more restaurants and shopping. Will ability stay again.

I’ve been going to this hotel for years. I took the cheapest room this time, which said it was noisy, but it wasn’t at all! Bathroom is quite wide, bed is comfortable, and it was really quiet. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. It’s an older hotel that is quite famous in that area. Definitely would stay again.

The room I got at 6th floor is facing all the A/C heater cooler mechanics of the hotels, the sound is a little bit loud; it's probably because I booked the cheapest package. Overall, everything is pretty decent.

Nice, cosy hotel

The hotel is conveniently located near the Fukuyama Bus Station, it’s within 3 min walk. Our room oversees the Fukuyama Castle. My son slept immediately upon arrival on the comfortable bed.

Heaven on earth almost...

Great hotel. Great location. Beautiful view from our room window. Everything wonderful. Just wish the place had a pool and it would be paradise. The bar is great and they give you a free drink so we were happy campers even without a pool. The breakfast buffet is heavenly.

Decent hotel close to Fukuyama Station

My sister and I had a comfortable time here. The staff was always courteous and friendly with us. Our room was cleaned thoroughly whenever we requested it via a magnet on the door. We didn’t hear much noise from the other rooms, if any. Our only complaints are that the pillows were rather flat (but we could have requested more) and that the washing machine/dryer seemed like they were out of order (I spent an hour on washing and two and a half hours on drying, and my clothes still weren’t dry). There seemed to be only two washing machines and two dryers in one room on the fourth floor for the entire hotel. That all said, again, the cleanliness of the room was top-notch. I enjoyed the deep bathtub as well.

the best in Fukuyma

located kn the center of fukuyama city. castle is in 3 minutes walk. there are many to eat in the hotel. the var was excellent. cause they serve refill free cocktail from 17 to 20pm for lnly 1500 jpy. there are a lot of Okonomiyaki restaurants around the property. yes, I trury recomend this hotel.

We reserved 2 non smoking rooms. We stayed on the 12th floor and we're happy. My daughters were on the 4 th floor the room smelt like smoke so we requested a different room. They had to wait until the next day to get a new room. That room also on the 4th floor eas a little better, but still smelt like smoke. We did not ask for another room.

Convenience is the name

The hotel is conveniently located close to the JR Fukuyama Station. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel, although a little misunderstanding between us and the lady receptionist whose command of English was very poor resulted in a little argument. The argument was eventually amicably resolved and there was no hard feeling in either party.

その際お品書きに、別料金の物が当然の様に書かれており、それを選ばない選択はない様な書き方でした。
あれは無いなと、せっかくの会食が不愉快な気分になりました。
常識では白ごはん（炊き込みご飯➕¥500)とすべきなのでは？

朝食も和洋ビュッフェでどれも美味しかったですが、特にフレンチトーストがとても美味しかったです。
お部屋からライトアップされた福山城が間近に見えてとても良かったです。

子供の行事ごとで前日から前乗りしました。会場まで近い場所で決めましたが、すごくよかったです。車で行ったので駅周辺などのこだわりは無かったですが駅にも近くお土産屋さんもあり。すこし時間もあったので周辺をぶらぶらしました。夜はゆっくりホテルのビュッフェにしましたがスタッフのかたもすごく感じが良くて親切でした。お酒を飲む方は飲み放題もあり旦那が凄く満足そうでした。お料理も種類もあり美味しいと思います。

施設の古さは否めませんが清潔感がありました。駅から近く、駐車場も沢山あるので遅くのチェックインでも周りの駐車場を探す必要がないと思います。部屋に無料の水のペットボトルが置いてあったのでこの時期有り難かったし、新聞のサービスも嬉しかったです。
一つ、部屋に入った時に少しタバコ臭かったのが気になりました。
