It is an easy drive to the old port of Ciotat or to the Calanques national park, but feel very quiet, peaceful and secluded.
The gardens around the property are beautiful, and the hum of cicadas were all we heard from our room and porch.
The pool was lovely, and breakfast of fresh coffee, croissants and baguettes each morning felt luxurious.

Je cherchais un endroit calme pour passer quelques jours avec mes deux enfants (9 et 12 ans). La Désirade a été parfaite.
Chambre au calme et suffisamment spacieuse pour 3 avec une terrasse ombragée et accès direct à piscine intérieure avec véranda ce qui est top quand il fait trop chaud.
Le petit déjeuner servi avec des viennoiseries et pain frais est super. Les hôtes sont très agréables et disponibles.
L’hébergement est à 15 min max de La Ciotat et de Saint Cyr, idéal pour la plage ou sortie le soir.

Mon épouse a passé trois jours très agréables. La Désirade est équipée d'une grande salle commune pour 2 chambres avec cuisine aménagée avec un four micro-onde, table de salle à manger, un grand canapé confortable et une télévision. Le tout donnant sur une piscine intérieure chauffée. Un accès sur une grande terrasse avec chaises longues et canapés confortables, tables. le tout entouré d'un vaste terrain boisé avec le passage parfois de sangliers ;-)

Un séjour exceptionnel dans un cadre sublime ! La chambre d’hôtes « La Désirade » est un véritable havre de paix, nichée dans un lieu spacieux et magnifiquement aménagé. La piscine intérieure chauffée est un vrai plus, parfaite pour se détendre à tout moment de la journée. Les propriétaires sont d'une gentillesse incroyable, toujours disponibles et prêts à rendre le séjour encore plus agréable. La proximité avec La Ciotat et toutes les commodités rend ce lieu encore plus pratique et idéal pour des vacances réussies. Un endroit grand et agréable à vivre, que je recommande vivement !

The property is an amazing place, close to the La Ciotat beaches, which are one of the best beaches in whole Europe in my opinion. Also has a nice pool where one can swim if the salt water is not your favorite thing. The host brings nice breakfast every morning but my only issue with that is that the breakfast has a lot of processed stuff and not enough protein in the breakfast, for example some eggs would be nice, but apart from that it is a perfect place to have a nice vacation. The wifi could also be a bit faster, but when you are in a resort like that internet is not the main thing. Overall, a great place to stay when you want to visit the Cot de Azur, hope i got that right!
