Nice hotel, business hotel in the Northern suburbs of Napoli but the train 2 is 500 metres away from the hotel & takes you right downtown Napoli to Piazza Garibaldi. Very convenient to use the trains ! Metro. Car parking is good & secure. No need for car in Napoli so we just left our car and took metro & trains. Hotel staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast full & substantial. Some good restaurants across the street.

Don’t stay at Hotel Cristina in Naples, Italy

Hotel Cristina charged me €50 for a shuttle to airport, but I was charged €25 by a driver who appeared as a shuttle driver. Upon complaining to Hotel Cristina, they blamed me for everything. You should delist so en-ethical people.

Average property, suitable for a quick overnight stay. Not very well maintained. One of the main reasons that I booked the place was that they advertised as having a shuttle to the airport. But actually the hotel is pretty far from the airport and the shuttle had to be booked 2 days in advance? This I consider as misleading advertising. Taxi cost is Euros 30 to 35 from hotel to airport.

It's a nice place, but they communicate poorly (and I speak the language). The hotel sent an automated offer for an airport transfer at 35 euro via the Expeida app. I confirmed and sent my flight info, but never heard back, even after sending more messages through the app. Finally I called the morning of my arrival and the transfer was confirmed, but when I went to check out they tried to charge me 50 euro. Also, I was given a 10 euro VIP voucher and tried to use it for drinks, but after they had already made the drinks they said the voucher was only good for nonalcoholic items. Eventually, they comped the drinks to make up for the 15 euro overcharge on the transfer, but overall it seems like a nice place that is not so well-managed.

This hotel advertises a transfer service to the airport, which is why I booked it. I had e-mailed the property 4 days before our arrival asking about a transfer. I was told that it would be best to arrange the transfer the day of, or to simply take a taxi. The day of check-in, I once again asked about transfer to the airport, and the message was the same: grab a taxi in the morning. At the time we were checking in, a taxi strike was already in progress and would continue the next day. At no point did the front desk inform us of this.

We got down to the front desk the next morning, asked for a taxi, and only then were we informed that there is a nationwide taxi strike, there are no cabs, we should head to the train station and catch a shuttle, and good luck. These directions were good, but not in time. I missed my flight and had to rebook at considerable cost to myself.

I do not blame this property for the taxi strike: those are common in Europe especially in the summer. However, I do blame them for either not knowing about the strike (which I must emphasize, was ongoing as we were checking in), or not telling us, allowing us time to come up with an alternative solution.

Other than that, the hotel was clean and quiet. But it was not worth the $1500 a night (the cost of the flight rebooking) that it ended up costing us.

An Okay place for the price

This location is off the beaten path but for us was fine. We appreciated the secure parking and good local transportation. The bar tender/breakfast attendant Francesco was the best! Our room needs more lighting and as a handicap accessible room, it was not functional. The cupboard and safe are way too high up. I am 5'3\" and barely could reach the cupboard for clothes. Also, the shower room was needing renovation/deep cleaning.

Good room in crazy neighborhood!

I had so so experience:
It says they have parking, but you got to stop in the middle of the road, go to reception to ask to open the gate and drive in, then realize that parking just for couple of cars and there are no spot for you!
Lots of people on the reception, and the receptionist who barely speak English can not really help you. They ask to give them passports and pick up later. I wouldn’t risk to do that!
Room was OK. (Old air conditioner, but works, windows face railroads, so not an option)
Neighborhood is crazy and I wouldn’t stay there again!

Located near to a metro station with easy access to Naples (approx 20 mins on train) this is a nice hotel in a busy part of Naples close to the Napoli football stadium and the Mostra conference centre (and also attractions such as Edenlandia. The staff are outstanding and will attend to every wish. They have a good basic command of english, for non-Italians but the hotel is a local hotel and has many Italian guests. Has nice local cafes and restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel close to football stadium

Good hotel with private car park ideally located for going to a football match, the hotel is literally less than 15 minutes walk from the San Paolo football stadium with plenty of restaurant and bars along the way. The staff were where polite and helpful. The in-room WiFi worked very well and the room was comfortable and quite. Will return for my next trip to watch Napoli!

We stayed 1 night in June 2017. Hotel is clean and modern.
There were 4 of us. 2 single beds were comfortable but sleeper sofa NOT !!!
Breakfast provided was satisfactory. Big plus was gated parking.
NAPLES IS NOT FOR TIMID DRIVERS, usual rules do not apply, rather FIRST COME FIRST SERVE RULE.
We would recommend this hotel if you need to spend night or two.

This budget hotel is very good for people who stop over and going to join other tours and activities. The hotel room is extremly clean and tidy. My room was on the 6th floor which has a beautiful mountain view. The staff cannot be more helpful that they helped me with information, booking tours, and getting taxi. They are very friendly and speaking good English. I count not thank them enough for being so patient to assit me.

Good value, need to travel on underground Metro.

Hotel is clean and pleasing, but it seems they have the central control over the Air condition at the reception. So air condition cannot be adjusted in the room, we tried to set the temp down and get the air condition started but unable to adjust it so we felt so hot and humid while we were packing to leave that morning also the temp turned warm and very humid. We did not enquire at the desk as we were busy packing up to check out. The breakfast was a buffet style we were served with the usual Continental breakfast with croissants and various pastries, bruchetta which as we had experienced in other hotels we stayed in Italy, but this one we had scrambled eggs and bacon, and also extremely strong coffee which is virtually undrinkable. The staffs at the reception was helpful so were the ones at breakfast.
We chose this hotel because it is closer to the airport as it took us 35 mins to get to it with our own GPS otherwise with the terrible terrible traffic congestion it would have taken us much longer. Good value to stay overnight.

Very good hotel in Naples

We chose this hotel because it offered what we felt was very good value. The price was very reasonable, and it included a free breakfast. It is located about 6 métro stops on Line 2 from the central train station. The journey takes around 20 minutes to get into the heart of Naples. The staff at the hotel were excellent, providing details on how to get from the train stations to the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was actually very good. All in all it was a very good hotel which I would definitely recommend.

The hotel has a great location for travel out to inner naples centre via the metro or out of naples to capri, pompeii and sorrento to name a few. The breakfast was boring and lacked variety but the staff are pleasant. The best staff were the cleaners who keep the place immaculate. The front desk should be more knowledgable and helpful in booking tours. They advertise this as a service but they merely book taxis for you which is not really what I expected.

Don't recommend the city or the hotel. Parking is in a locked area you need to stop in front of a gate and get the reception to let you in and out every time. Breakfast was terrible not many choices. Yogurt served had mold in it. Probably not stored right by the hotel. Elevator takes about 30 mins to get to you even when no one is using it.

We used the hotel as a base for sightseeing. Staff were pleasant, helpful and cooperative. Waiters at breakfast were exceptionally courteous and attentive. The hotel was modern, crisp and clean, though the décor a bit impersonal. The train station was a few minutes walk from the hotel, and convenient for going into Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Pozzuoli and other tourist sites of interest. Check the timetable as the service finishes by 10 p.m. The hotel is in a residential area with a supermarket nearby, but with a very limited selection of restaurants in the vicinity. Getting to the hotel by car from the tangenziale is convenient; however, use a GPS or a very detailed map for navigating the streets. Parking is at the back of the hotel behind gates at the side of the entrance.

Nice hotel, misleading advertising

I was only staying at the hotel for one night, before a flight back to the UK. I arrived via ferry from Sorrento into Naples just as it was getting dark, and the hotel was a long, hectic and expensive taxi-ride from the port. The exterior was nice and the reception bright and modern, with a welcoming receptionist to book me in.

The room itself was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable, with a good-sized safe. Only real complaint about décor was the somewhat unsettling, ugly picture above the bed (woman giving evil eyes over the top of a book being held as if she was sticking two fingers up to you!). The beds were ok, although two singles had just been pushed together and no topper used to make them into a comfortable double, so they slid apart a bit during the night.

I would advise passing on the \"Bistro\". I ordered room service from their menu as it was dark and I don't know the area, and it was truly terrible. Cold pasta with a gritty, cold sauce; the saltiest, driest chicken I have ever seen, with a mush of frozen spinach & anaemic, undercooked potatoes; and a horrible, stale piece of lemon cake that seemed weeks old. In the morning I saw there were other cafes across the road/nearby which would have been a better option.

The advertising of the hotel is rather inaccurate (see below).

Unrelated to the hotel, taxis will try to rip you off. The hotel told me fixed price 23 Euros to the airport, the driver tried for 30 (make sure to have change and insist on the 23).

I chose Hotel Cristina because it seemed to be in a safer area of Naples compared to the cheaper hotels in the city centre particularly near Garibaldi Square. The hotel turned out to be a good choice. Nice room and staff with very good breakfast included at an excellent price.

If travelling from Naples by metro - exit the station and turn left, go under the bridge, down to the main road (a supermarket open 7 days pw is on your left at this point), and the hotel is about 150m on your left.

Good location for sightseeing

Good access to main roads for sightseeing at Pompeii, Vesuvius and Heculaneum. Driving a bit chaotic in Naples, have to keep your nerve. Great secure parking facilities next to the hotel. Hotel staff friendly in reception and Bistro, we stayed a week and enjoyed two meals in the Bistro, simple food but tasty. Breakfast choice was excellent and always plenty of choice even up to 10am. Nice outdoor seating area to enjoy a cold beer in the evening. The rooms were extremely clean and well equipped, housekeeping service excellent, the rooms were always immaculate on our return in the evening. Wifi good service and fast enough for all our families needs.

This hotel is not in the centre of town, but we felt perfectly safe here. Though we only stayed here for one night, I would recommend it as the hotel was easy to find, the breakfast was good, it was good value and the staff were lovely.

Surprised at the glam . . .

. . in the neighborhood! Very upscale and clean; beds however were okay but not outstanding and the linens were nice! One very nice young man seemed to be the jack of all trades: maintenance, Batista and waiter.
Out and away from downtown (15 min.) not too far from the port (10 min.).
