Quiet suburb, easy access to IGA, Cafe, Bakery and to Hobart! The motel itself is very clean, and always get tidied up by staff. The receptionist is accomodating, kind and thorough. We stayed in a family room with connecting doors, very convenient for a family of 5! Lots of parking!!! All in all it was a very pleasant stay in the motel!

The unit was clean, modern and has everything you need. The food at the hotel was really good, staff were friendly. Bed suits those who like hard mattresses. Room is great if you’re afraid of the dark, a big round outside light shining above the glass opaque door spills into the room all night, keeping the darkness at bay.

Room 6 was very new and clean. However,
1. They warned us beforehand that there was no wi-fi, but they didn't mention that there is ZERO reception in the area at all. We had no internet the whole time we were there which makes it very hard to make plans, look at maps etc. Even the adjoining pub/bistro doesn't have wi-fi! The inconvenience is just too much.

2. The area outside the back door isn't enclosed. Upon arrival I noticed the shadow of someone standing at the back door. I opened the door and it was a man using our back patio as a smoking area. Why he didn't use his own back patio is anyone's guess. Maybe he didn't like the smell of the smoke coming into the room like it came into ours.

3. The front door is clear frosted glass, and the lights in the car park shine right through, nice and bright, all night long. Bring a black garbage bag to tape over the door, or wear a thick blindfold.

The location to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary was very convenient but I just could not recommend this place. Very disappointing for the $150/night.

Bed wasn’t overly comfortable . Needed blockout blind on the front doors as it was too bright at night. It was like sleeping with the lights on due to the outside lights being on all night. Lack of sleep had by my family who were in two other rooms and had the same problem

A bit disappointed

The stay was functional and for 5 nights. While we knew there was there was no wifi in the room, we didnt understand that there was virtually no free wifi in the Brighton area. Not 21st Century stuff and frustrating.

Shower was good and room was attended to well. Didnt like the light coming through the front door all night.

This hotel/motel is a very large combination of hotel, motel, and gaming. The motel part is new and many more units are almost ready. The only drawback was there was no internet at all at the hotel was waiting on it being connected due to how new it was. We didn't eat at the hotel as there was not a lot of menu choices and the prices were very high. However our room had a lovely private partitioned patio area with outdoor seating which was much appreciated as we had a beautiful day. all in all we would definitely stay here again

This is a new hotel and is in very good condition.
The only disappointment is with Hotels.com. The price is much higher than it initially showed. If you don't pay from a US account, prepare to pay an international transfer fee and also prepare for Hotels.com's crappy exchange rate.

Stayed here many, many times, and is usually above par. But this time was terrible. No batteries in remote for heater or tv, and bar staff had no idea where to find some, so middle of winter, cold room, no heater. Dirty sock on the floor, sheet on bed wasn’t clean. Bathroom wasn’t clean and the fan in the shower didn’t work, so cold room full of condensation.
Will definitely hitting management up for a refund

Reception was closed and there was no clear indication that check in was done from other side. To get a taxi was also a challenge from the hotel to the airport..the room even didn’t have a phone, in order to have a chat with one of the hotel staffs regarding taxi, you had to walk all the way to the tab area..no smooth check in and check out !!!

Very clean and modern, comfortable large bed. What I didn't like was the aircon was noisy and smelt funny. The entrance door was frosted glass so the outside lights shone in. I had to hang a blanket up on the door to block the light as it was annoying. You couldn't open the windows to let in airflow so you have to rely on the aircon. There was no hairdryer from what I could see. There is nothing in the area decent to eat. It was ok for us as it was one night stop.

The property was excellent, but I had called the day before to see if we could get one out of our 2 rooms at 12pm and was told by the lovely young lady on the phone that she would make a note for the cleaners to clean and have ready one of the rooms by then. This didnt happen and we were trying to get ready for a wedding and then left the room so that they could do the room. We were rushed as we had to be at the wedding at 2.30pm. Seems like a lack of communication for sure.

Would of liked to have been greeted with a smile instead of a grunt on arrival. It was like I was putting her out for being there. Also reception was closed when we went to book out (understandable as it was public holiday) but how hard is it to put a notice on the door to inform people. 3 people turned up at the same time to no service.
Apart from poor reception the rest of our stay was fabulous. Clean, comfortable rooms and lovely friendly staff in the actual hotel where we ate. Shame one of them didn’t work in reception.

We have stayed here before so we knew it was a 'newish' motel. This time we stayed on the side facing the fence and side car park and it was much quieter. Lovely staff, super clean and quiet. Thank you. Great food in the restaurant too - huge serves and fresh, succulent food.

The service is exceptional. Location is great, if u have a car. Taxi to city would be at least $100.
Beds are comfortable, very clean. The rooms with renovated bathrooms are great. The old style bathroom definitely need new shower and tiles.
They gave us a microwave, was great. Just what we needed.

Downside, bit noisy at times from neighbours or walking past etc, the nextdoor room when door shuts rattles yr room. And the night and day light coming through the door is ridiculous. I put a blanket up on the door both nights.
Definitely stay here again, if u have a car or someone to drive u, no point staying in city.

The welcome was very ordinary - no-one in reception, we had to go through to the bar to find someone to check us in. In the morning the building was all locked up at 8am so we could not check out - there was no key return hatch or anything. As we were about to drive away a cleaner came by and said to push the keys under the front door of the reception!! Very unprofessional!

Liked the quiet location yet easy access to Hobart. Liked the cleanliness and daily room service. Liked the comfortable king size bed and table chairs outside back door. Did not like having not enough shelf space or clothes hooks in bathroom; no tissues supplied. Missed not having a microwave.
