It is near a highway but is quiet in general. There are many restaurants on the street next to it. A few staff members seemed inexperienced and had great difficulty finding a package for me that was sent in advance. The shower gel bottle was almost empty, which was surprinsing. Other that these little things, the stay was good.

Everything is just under 5 stars. Good, but not great. I think some rooms could use some rennovation. And a staff member that was bussing tables at the buffet was coughing and sneezing all over the tables/silverware at breakfast one day. I'm sick now 🤒 Aside from those issues, great hotel! Plenty of stores and restaraunts nearby, and even a mall right next door, and Shanghai south tran station is a 15 min walk away.

Not great for western visitors

Check in was fine. Room was large but hot and couldn’t get the ac working.
Breakfast was aimed at Chinese customers so less for European travellers however I didn’t see any other Europeans in the hotel the entire trip.
Couldn’t get a taxi and no one to help on 3 occasions

Great area , seems modern very much

Location is within walking distance of the train station.

Check in was easy. Room upgrade was given. My only complaint was the breakfast, it was not as good as Pullman Jingan near shanghai station, many choices seemed from the day before, not fresh. The breads, cereals, bread pudding, many of the foods did not taste that good. Just the juices and water was good and the omelet ///

Don’t go to spa

Had a neck massage at the spa. It wasn’t very good. I asked for neck shoulder massage, but they charged me two times the neck massage which is more than the neck shoulder massage. There was a 20% for in-house guests, however they did not give me the discount, even when I billed it to the room. I went to back to resolve the pricing but was refused at any point I made

Clean and comfortable room. Hard time ordering room service as they speak English poorly. The restaurant was pretty good.
One of the waiters gave me rock hard bread for my soup at the Savor restaurant and one of the assistant manager Eric H. caught it on time and gave me soft fresh bread. I hope he gets promoted.

The hotel is of a good standard - nice, spacious rooms with good ambiance. Fitness center is good quality. The thing that let the hotel down was the service in the main restaurant and the poor quality of the food at the buffet. Also, the service in the restaurant was TERRIBLE - we had to wait an hour for my meal; a simple chicken breast!

Quiet and relatively new clean hotel

Very comfy experience at Pullman Shanghai South hotel. We were told given free upgrade to the executive floor(25th floor) but without the privilege to access the lounge. Rooms are the same setting except the floor difference, if you pay more, you'll get higher floor, that's it. Hotel located in a place a little bit far away from the city center and all the attractions, however, the traffic is convenient. Subway line 1 takes you directly to the heart of the city (People's square), and you can easily transfer to other lines which take you to almost all the attractions you gonna visit. Breakfast was awesome with wide selections combined with western and Chinese food. Service is terrific.

I was arranged to a corner room and the room is extremely small. As it is next to the fire hydrant room, i also heard people checking point of duty and it was noisy. There are also different noises from other rooms. Overall speaking, I am disappointed with this hotel.

Well maintained new hotel, next to Carrefour and a mini mall serving food and McD. Around 10 minutes walk to the Shanghai south Train station and Metro, which is based of Line 1 and 3.

20+ minutes jog to the nearby Shanghai Botanical garden for those who needed greenery.

Services were impeccable, especially those manning the executive lounge. Breakfast spread was good as expected with the bottles fresh juices a highlight. Rooms were clean and functional.

Location can be a little far from all action, but that also lower the price of the rooms.

What's bad is the speed of the free wifi, painfully slow, which was surprising in China.

I stayed one night before returning home on the train. The hotel was immaculate and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is large with a tub. It's a ten minute walk to the metro which is convenient.
However, there is not much in the way of restaurants or shopping in the neighborhood except for a Carrefour next door.

I had stayed six days from September 28 and really enjoyed my stay!!!
Hotel has the best facility you can expect from four or five star hotel with great location and good landscape surrounding the Hotel. Carrefour, Costa coffee, Pizza Hut, KFC, McDonald and many other restaurants including Chinese, Japanese and Western restaurant are within 50 to 200 Meter from the hotel
For the main shopping centres you need to take metro line one for three stops to XuJiaHui and that's the only negative side of the location

We also tried the Japanese restaurant there but food was just ok not authentic, i will say... There is really nothing around but for a business trip, its more than enough. Wil come back again.

I personally enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the room was relatively big and the staff was super friendly and helpful, they all could speak english so that's bonus. The only downside would be the location, it is quite far from downtown area but other than that great hotel and i would def recommend to a friend.

少し古さを感じさせるホテルですが、敷地内にセブンイレブン（22時閉店）やマクドナルドがあります。
徒歩5分の場所に6階建てのショッピングセンターがあり買い物や食事に困りません。そのショッピングセンターから上海南駅に直結しています。

ホテル内にはATMもあります。
朝食は普通に美味しいですが、和食はありません。

上海の中心街まで地下鉄2本で約30分かかるので観光で使うホテルではないように思います。

現地決済を選びましたが、2泊約4万5千円のところ、デポジットで約2万5千円をプラスした、約7万円をカード決済されました。
チェックアウト10日後にきちんとデポジット分は戻ってきました。

禁煙ルームでタバコ臭はありませんでした。「喫煙したら約1万5千円を請求します」と書いてあるアクリルスタンドがありました。

フロントやレストランの従業員さん達は全く愛想がありませんが、中国では上の対応です。

This hotel provided me very unpleasant experience.

This hotel gave me a very unpleasant experience. After checking out, I called for a ride-hailing service. Since I had to wait for 12 minutes, I wanted to find a place to sit and wait. Incredibly, the vast hotel lobby had no sofas. Naturally, I looked for a table in the lobby about ten steps away. As soon as I sat down, a waiter came over with the menu. The waiter gave me a disdainful look, indicating that I had to order something, or else I had to leave. It's not like I couldn't afford a cup of coffee, it's just that the attitude of the waiter was really disgusting. When I went to the front desk to complain, they didn't seem to care either. This attitude simply does not treat guests staying at this hotel as guests.

I stay at five-star hotels in Shanghai for one or two weeks almost every month. Since my company just moved nearby, I wanted to experience this hotel this time. The result is that even if other hotels are further away from my company, I will definitely not stay here unless absolutely necessary.

便利舒適的飯店

住宿地點環境舒適，離地鐵站不遠約10分鐘腳程。隔壁有一個商場，用餐很方便。唯一可惜的是商場的家樂福撤掉了。

另外行政樓層無法使用也是很可惜。繳了房費還是要在一樓大廳及餐廳用餐，應該在訂房時加註，免得入住後才告知的困擾
